Mr. Nice Guy (Pierce Brothers, #1)Mr. Nice Guy by Belinda Williams
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Mr Nice Guy is the first book in the Pierce Brothers Series by Belinda Williams. It is a great contemporary romance. I became a fan of Belinda Williams after reading the Freshwater series and was looking forward to a new series. I can safely say that this series has got off to a fantastic start. I really loved Mr Nice Guy which is a great example of a friends-to -lovers romance.
When Tom gets sick of his flatmate Chelsea complaining about her endless stream of loser boyfriends he offers her a proposition – give him seven days and seven nights to show her how good a nice guy can be.
I absolutely loved Tom and Chelsea. Tom is totally devoted to his job as a paramedic and Chelsea loves her job in childcare but is unsure of her future. Together they make such an amazing couple and there are many funny exchanges as Tom shows Chelsea how much better life can be when you are with a nice guy.
We do get a brief peek at some of the other Pierce brothers whom I assume we will get to know very well throughout this series and I’m intrigued to learn more about them.
100% recommend this book and look forward to the rest of the series.

Mr. Nice Guy (Pierce Brothers Book 1) by Belinda Williams is your typical friend to lovers/brothers’ best friend romcom. It is a quick read where we watch friends see more in each other than they ever have before. 7 days and it could all change. This cute tale will have you laughing and tearing up at different times. Grab a copy and just enjoy the easy read. I must admit sometimes I felt like I could not connect fully to the characters, but it was an easy read.

I loved this romantic comedy by a favourite author of mine Belinda Williams. ‘Mr. Nice Guy’ is the first book in a new series featuring the naughty but nice Pierce Brothers. This was a lighthearted, fun read with plenty of romance and a bit of drama which had me happily turning the pages. The storyline flowed well making it an easy read and the authors descriptive narrative bought both the characters and the setting to life. The story had the right mix of laugh out loud moments, emotional moments and of course romance leading to some steamy scenes. I was hooked from page one and could not put this book down. I fell in love with the very likeable and relatable characters, especially Tom and Chelsea. Chelsea is used to dating ‘bad boys’ but her housemate Tom is fed up of her complaining about her boyfriends and says she should give a ‘nice guy’ a try, someone like him! “Give me a week. Seven days and seven nights. I’ll show you what it’s like to be with a nice guy”, the only rule is that it’s not a friends with benefits arrangement. However, It’s not long before Chelsea realises that nice guys can play dirty too. This was such an entertaining, enjoyable and engaging read which I definitely recommend.

Mr. Nice Guy was a really great read – I thoroughly enjoyed it. I’ve read books by this author previously and was impressed with her work so I jumped at the chance when I saw this book. It was a fun romcom read with a nice storyline and great characters. I liked Chelsea and Tom, they had a great connection with each other, their time together made me laugh out and I found myself rooting for them the whole way through. They may only have been fake dating but it definitely felt real at times and certainly genuine between them. I really enjoyed this light hearted read and I am definitely looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

Mr Nice Guy by Belinda Williams is the first book in the Pierce Brothers series. This is a great example of a friends to lovers romance and one I thoroughly enjoyed. I loved how the chara try’s has such a great connection anyway, as friends, and the author really knew how to develop that. It was so easy to get behind them and hope that they would figure out their feelings for each other.
The story itself was entertaining. I thought I was lighthearted and fun, touching on the sweeter side or romance. It has a nice easy pace about, meaning it was too heavy to read. Overall this was a great book and I am looking forward to the second.

Mr. Nice Guy (Pierce Brothers Book 1) by Belinda Williams. This book is so good I can’t wait to read the rest of the series! This is the story of Chelsea and Tom who are housemates. Tom is the epitome of a nice guy and Chelsea only ever picks bad boys. Tom is a fixer and wants to always help people or get them out of bad situations so when he proposes a deal with Chelsea he thinks he’s just helping her see how a nice guy can treat you. He takes her on a week’s worth of dates and treats her just like a gentleman would and at the end of the week they both have forgotten it was a test. After the test is thru they both realize they have feelings for one another and now they don’t know what to do. Both Tom and Chelsea have their own problems to deal with but as a couple they really seem good! I can’t wait to read about more of the Pierce brothers!

This was the first book by the author that I have read. It certainly won’t be the last after finishing this one. This was a very quick read for me as I didn’t want to put it down once I started reading it. I laughed so hard in some places that I was crying. So, if you like romantic comedies you will like this book. She didn’t immediately throw the characters into a relationship which I loved because it kept me guessing when it would happen. I was shocked she waited so long, but also appreciated that because you could feel the tension mounting which made the ending that much more bittersweet. If you are looking for a short rom com then this is a book for you.

This book was a fantastic read! I had a very hard time putting it down and finished it in a few hours. Chelsea and Tom were very sweet and I thoroughly enjoyed the development of their situation. It was refreshing to see a man who overthinks and not just the woman as that brings a different perspective to a relatable issue. The roles their work played, life experiences and idiosyncrasies of their personalities were well incorporated into the plot. I felt like the story was pieced nicely together. The concept of the nice guy taming the unconventional girl with a penchant for under-appreciating men really hit the mark for me! A quote that really stood out to me was, “You think it’s hard to live with regrets? It’s harder to die with them.” This is definitely a good read if you are looking for a romantic comedy with some insight.

Mr. Nice Guy by Belinda Williams is the perfect beach read this summer! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a short read that can be finished in a short time. It was the first book that I have read by her and I plan to read the following books in the series.

Belinda has written a very relatable character in Chelsea, reminding me of how it felt to fall for a nice guy after dealing with so many bad guys in the past. Belinda also wrote an amazing character in Tom, making him easy for the reader to also grow attraction towards him as Chelsea develops her own feelings for the sweet and sensitive paramedic. The plot is captivating, with twists and turns in this not-so run-of-the-mill romance novel, that keeps the reader wondering if it will have a happy ending up until the very end of the novel.

I enjoyed this romance story. This is an author I have enjoyed from the first book I picked up of hers. I was pulled into the story by the characters with ease. They made the story engaging and fast paced. They made the story pop off the pages and gave the story a realistic feel. This is a well written story about Tom and Chelsea. They are housemates and Tom has just offered to show her that nice guys really do exist. He is not necessarily a nice guy but he is about to prove otherwise to Chelsea. What happens next with these two I highly recommend reading to find out. I enjoyed their chemistry and watching them grow throughout the story. A great romance story that you don’t want to miss.

Mr. Nice Guy (Pierce Brothers, #1)Mr. Nice Guy by Belinda Williams
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Chelsea is attracted to bad boys…which leads to her crying over douchebags time after time. After her latest failed relationship…her crazy best friend has the idea that she should try out a good guy for once. And the only good guy she can think of is her roommate, Tom.

Tom let Chelsea move in as a favor to his best friend, who just happens to be Chelsea’s older brother. When he hears the girl’s crazy plan of a good guy trial run with Chelsea…he isn’t sure if this is the best or worst idea they have come up with. After agreeing to it, he shows Chelsea what dating a good guy looks like. But, in the span of a week, both start having (and showing) feelings that are more than just friends. Could this be the end of their friendship…or something more?

I enjoyed Chelsea and Tom’s characters. Both have stressful jobs and pasts that make real relationships hard. When they both come to terms with what they are feeling…it could be too late. Both are witty and funny and definitely enjoyable characters. I was immersed in the story from the beginning and didn’t put the book down until I was done. I am excited that this is the first in a series because I am ready to read whatever comes next!

This is the first installment of this series and Belinda has done a wonderful job getting started! Tom has been in Chelsea’s life since they were kids and, since she moved in to his apartment, has been hearing about her failed relationships wishing there was something he could do to change the type of guy she is interested in. Her best friend, Nadia, suggests a week of “fake-dating” the nice guy for a change and volunteers Tom. Absolutely NO benefits. The dates are sweet and thoughtful, Tom is the perfect book-boyfriend, and Chelsea is growing as a person. Add in just a little bit of drama, some sad parts, and a few surprises – I’m all in! Can’t wait for the next book about the next brother!

I always love it when I find out that Belinda Williams has a new RomCom available. I really needed a hearty love story with some good laughs and Mr. Nice Guy sure did deliver the goods! I really loved how Ms. Williams took a typical friends to lovers trope and made me fall in love with it all over again while I rooted for these two to find the happily ever after at the end of the story. Chelsea is our main gal and the one who just cannot seem to find a guy who has a nice bone in his body to save her soul. Enter her roommate and friend Tom and you have a recipe for a wonderful read. I loved this one and I could totally see myself diving into this one again for several re-reads. I can’t wait to see what the future books in the Pierce Brothers series will bring as this is the first of several to come!!

Daddy's Girl (Freshwater Book 3)Daddy’s Girl by Belinda Williams
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

‘Daddy’s Girl’ is an enjoyable and entertaining contemporary romance set in beachside Sydney. This is a lighthearted, fun romantic comedy with wonderful characters and I felt totally immersed in the storyline. Em Georgiou is not ready to settle down as she has her PhD to finish and a career to start. Joel Scott is completely focused on his architecture business to worry about relationships. Joel does not have high hopes when a client suggests he ‘gets to know’ his daughter, as he’s expecting a spoiled daddy’s girl. However as soon as Joel meets Em he is determined to convince her that he’s not just seeing her to impress her father. This book took me on an emotional rollercoaster whilst reading it as it has some really funny, laugh out loud moments and then some more emotional moments. Although book three in a series it can be read as a standalone story, however I have also enjoyed the previous two books in the ‘Freshwater’ series. An easy and engaging read which I recommend if your looking for some escapism with a good book.

Daddy’s Girl is a fun-loving romance story that will have you laughing and relating to the characters within the book. The plotline is simple but effective. Two people not looking for love realize that they need each other. The story goes at a good clip. I know I had to hold on because I was plowing through the story. This story is Joel and Em’s story. Em is a “daddy’s girl” who has a Ph.D. who is not ready to be with one man. Her daddy had other plans for her. Joel is focusing on his business to date anyone. Then there was his client who was trying to set up his daughter with Joel. Will this be a disaster in the making? Does Joel develop feelings for Em? Is Em ready for a single man relationship? I highly recommend this book to find out the answers to these questions and more.

Daddy's Girl (Freshwater Book 3)Daddy’s Girl by Belinda Williams
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Daddy’s girl is the awesome 3rd book in the Freshwater series by Belinda Williams. It’s a fantastic contemporary romance series set in the Freshwater area of Australia. It can be read as a standalone but I’d definitely recommend reading all three books in the series and if you read all three then it makes more sense to read them in the correct order to avoid spoilers. I’ve now read all 3 and I can safely say that I adore this series of books.
For as long as she can remember, Em Georgiou’s father has been trying to set her up will suitable, eligible young men all of whom she’s had absolutely no interest in. Even if she was interested, she’s going nowhere near someone recommended by her father. That is, until she meets Joel Scott who is trying to win a contract with her father. Neither of them are interested in relationships, their careers are the number one factor in their lives. That is, until they both can’t stop thinking of the other.
I absolutely loved this story and both Em and Joel are amazing characters that I just fell in love with. Well, I already adored Em from the previous 2 books. Joel expected a daddy’s girl, a spoiled brat but what he got in Em was totally the opposite: a beautiful, highly intelligent woman with similar interests and passions as his own.
This is a fun filled, romantic story that I’d call a page turner. I was to enthralled in Em and Joel’s story and did not want to put it down.
Would definitely recommend Daddy’s Girl.

Daddy's Girl (Freshwater Book 3)Daddy’s Girl by Belinda Williams
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Daddy’s Girl is the third book in Belinda Williams’ Freshwater series. Like the previous books in the series, it has a gorgeous coastal Australian setting with a fiery romance between interesting characters.
The books in the series are connected by the protagonists (first Kat, then Jess, now Em) living in the same building. They’ve grown to be friends, which means I was eager to see Em get her own story, and grateful in this story for the chance to catch up with Kat, Jess and their partners.
Living in a penthouse owned by her father, Em seems at first sight a spoiled daddy’s girl. But she is uncomfortable to be relying on her father, and only does so because it enables her to focus on the PhD she hopes will let her make some positive changes in the world. Her father hopes she will get married and settle down, preferably soon, and is constantly setting her up with young bachelors.
Joel can be a bit annoying at times – he broods a lot over his dark past and is quite self-centred – but he’s clearly trying to do the right thing. I’m hoping there are more books in the series so we can see his character develop further after the drama of this book calms down.
For me, this is a five-star read. It’s an enjoyable, easy-to-read romance and a lovely location to escape to. It would work as a standalone but the whole series is great and worth reading in order to get to know the characters.

Daddy’s Girl (Freshwater Book 3) by Belinda Williams. I loved this book. Its a contemporary romance about Emily (Em) Georgiou who is from a huge greek family that wants nothing more than for her to settle down. Em is all about finishing her PHD and is not worried about settling down or relationships. Em’s dad is even trying to set her up with a guy from her dad’s company. Joel Scott has one rule, no relationships so when a man he’s working on a deal with asks him to pay attention to his daughter Joel is afraid not to because he doesn’t want to lose the deal. He can flirt with the best of them but that doesn’t mean he’s going to marry them. Until he meets Em, Joel is smitten and they end up hooking up. The only problem is neither of them meant to have feelings for the other. Em is devastated because she has been planning on applying for a job at Joel’s company. Have they ruined everything? Will they change their no relationship rule? Read Daddy’s girl to find out!

Daddy's Girl (Freshwater Book 3)Daddy’s Girl by Belinda Williams
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Daddy’s Girl by Belinda Williams is book three of the Freshwater Series. This book can be read as a standalone.

Em is driven and smart. She’s got too much to accomplish before she even thinks about settling down. Her father on the other hand thinks the time is now. Her father is always on the look out for men to send Em’s way. Starting a family isn’t a dream Em’s had for herself. That is until she meets Joel. What is it about Joel that has her picturing a different future? Joel doesn’t have time for relationships. He’s got a business to focus on. As he’s trying to close a deal with Mr.Georgiou, he offers to set Joel up with zen to get to know her more. Joel needs to close this deal so he takes him up on the offer, not expecting what he gets when he meets Em. He realizes everything Em is and knows he wants more than a hook up with her but how does he convince her he isn’t doing this to impress her father? Will these two alter the plans they had for their futures to make room for each other.

This was a good read! It was enjoyable and I really enjoyed watching the characters evolve and change and realize that that’s okay to do to make room for new dreams while holding on to the old ones.

Daddy's Girl (Freshwater Book 3)Daddy’s Girl by Belinda Williams
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the 3rd book in the Freshwater Series and I enjoyed this just as much as the first 2. The characters are likeable and you really feel a connection to them. It is nice to have a strong female lead character as well as a powerful successful male character.

Em has almost graduated with her PhD. With her goals focused on starting her new career and being successful she doesn’t have time for love or romance. However her father wants her to settle down so he keeps trying to set her up. Add to this her father’s job and how it conflicts with what Em believes in and this makes their relationship strained.
So when he try to set her up again she is less than impressed. Until she meets Joel Scott.

Joel is a successful business man. Like Em his focus is his work so when his prespective employer thinks he will like his daughter he goes along with the set up to win over his favour.

What he finds is that Em is nothing like he expected and he is drawn to the strong independent woman that she is.

Can love bloom when neither of them want it? Can Joel prove to Em that he’s interested in her and not just to win favour with her dad? Can they find room in their lives to focus on something other than their careers?

Its a secret from others how long can they keep this going. Em Georgiou doesn’t have time for love can Joel convince her there is time. He guards his past so closely that you know something bad has happened which will continue to affect him. And it was interesting to watch Em evolve from the woman who wants nothing to do with any type of relationship to possibly falling in love. Characters from the previous books make appearances in this story so it was fun to see what they were up to.

The Freshwater books really are a fun, romantic, and sassy series that will have you giggling and cheering for the couples the whole time. Daddy’s Girl gives us the story of Em and Joel. They may have opposite goals in the beginning, Em with her desire to finish school and start her career, and Joel who basically thinks she can have it all even when she doesn’t see it. Will they find their happily ever after? I can’t wait to see whose story we will get next!

I really like the authors relaxed writing style; the stories flow really well and make them so easy and effortless to read. I find myself completely lost in what I’m reading and they are difficult to put down.
I loved the characters Em and Joel! Their story was great to read about. There were definitely some very funny moments between the characters – I love a good laugh out loud book and this one certainly ticked that box!

I enjoyed this romance story. This is a well developed story that has characters that are unique and creative. I had no problems connecting with them as they brought the story to life. The story is fast paced and engaging. This is a story about Joel and Em. Joel is so focused on his business that he just doesn’t do relationships. But when one of his biggest client asks him to meet his daughter, he never expects to find Em. She is determined to finish school and start her business. What will fate have in store for these two? First impressions are important but will Joel convince Em there is more to his feelings than what she thinks? They made great characters that I just enjoyed. I highly recommend this book.

This story just really pulled at my heart strings. At first it’s all sassy and fun then the serious stuff hits. It’s weird for the male lead to be the one thinking they are unworthy. But Joel does and it plays out full of heartache and strength of character. As you can tell I enjoyed this story. It has depth, hope and strength. This drew me in with the fun and I became fully involved with the storyline.

I loved the spunk and fire of Em. She knows her self worth and doesn’t let others think less. She is kind, thoughtful and smart. Joel is surprised by Em. She is not what he was expecting…she is better. They have ups and downs to conquer and Work, family, friends and the past to all figure out how end up together …or apart.

Over all this is a story that affects my heart. It was filled with joy, sorrow and relief. I love it all! It was great to chat here u with the characters from the previous books.
