Ms. Williams has once again written a quirky, funny and cute book that I throughly enjoyed.
Australia is on my bucket list of places to go and I think my desire to there gree bigger after this. How can you go wrong with sun, beach and a hot Aussie? Definitely better than the cold any day of the week.
Loved how Lizzie and Jasper meet, not one I had read before. Watching it start out as new friends and evolve from there was something I enjoyed.
The characters were what I have come to expect from Ms. Williams and will keep me coming back for more.

Christmas Escape by Belinda Williams is such a fun holiday romance about a holiday fling that might lead to finding love unexpectedly. Lizzie is down on her luck, losing her job and her apartment just before Christmas. So, what does she do. Goes on holiday, of course. Sun and fun- Australian style. Things don’t go exactly according to plan- but that’s half the fun. Add in Jaz a single father of two, our Grinchy FMC – Lizzie, humour, banter, antics, some festive spirit, and finding love unexpectedly – and this Christmas romance has just the right amount of tension, drama, and spice to keep me engaged the whole way through. I’m a sucker for holiday romances! I haven’t had an author steer me wrong yet! The Christmas Escape is no exception. I enjoyed it! I enjoyed what the author did here. Though parts were frustrating, that was more the character and not the story. I’ve read this author before and plan to continue to read more in the near future. Lizzie’s life has been upended. It’s the holidays and she unexpectedly no longer has a job or a roommate for that matter. Not wanting to face her family and talk about her failures, she helps out a friend and escapes to Australia over the holidays. A trip that seemed to be too good to be true. A man that she wants some fun with but has the potential to hurt her. What could go wrong? Jaz/Jasper was just spending another day on the beach with his kids. That was until his son hit this beautiful woman in the head with a ball. A woman he invites into his circle, so she doesn’t spend Christmas alone. A woman he knows is leaving but is willing to ride the wave with and take a risk. The question is, is she ready? Lizzie is a frustratingly stubborn character at times. But that’s all part of the growth. A growth that progressed wonderfully over time. Will Lizzie and Jaz stand in each other’s way? You will spend this book rooting for them! It doesn’t matter that their homes are worlds apart. You want them to win, to make it despite all else. If you like me and enjoy the holiday season and the ambiance of the movies, books, and spirit. This book is definitely a must read, that will bring a smile to your face.

An enjoyable and engaging romantic comedy with added Christmas magic! Lizzie already hates Christmas and then she loses both her job and her apartment two weeks before the holiday. So when her best friend Shona’s boyfriend cheats on her and leaves her with a non-refundable ticket to Australia, Lizzie decides to spend her redundancy payout and buy the ticket. Lizzie heads off to Australia with plans of forgetting Christmas, however she soon discovers that even in beachside Sydney the festive spirit is alive. Lizzie keeps bumping into Jaz, a surfer guy who she finds attractive and is even tempted to except his invite to Christmas lunch. However, Jaz is a single father with a lot of baggage and she’s only looking for a holiday romance, isn’t she?! No spoilers, I recommend picking up the book and reading this heartwarming and fun holiday romance, which will put you in the Christmas spirit.

The Christmas Escape is the perfect story for the holidays. I had so much fun reading this book. This is a quick one to read and once you start you are not going to be able to put it down. I really enjoyed the characters and how their story developed. The setting of the story is also interesting as it is different from most Christmas stories. Highly recommend!

I always love this wonderful authors characters and settings, maybe I am a little bias because I am an Aussie but I am always left feeling so happy after reading one her fantastic storylines. The very talented writing meant that I saw everything so clearly in my mind as I read it and I LOVE when that happens. This book definitely made my day a happy one! Lizzie and Jaz are really great characters and their chemistry and connection was so fun to read. I wish it was longer because I would have happily stayed in their world. I Don’t want to go into the storyline too much and give anything away so I will just say that you really need to get reading this book NOW!!

What a lovely holiday book! The main character, Lizzie, bails out a friend and buys her nonrefundable ticket to Australia over the Christmas holiday. She doesn’t want to tell her family that she lost her job and her roommate all in one week so she decides to avoid it. She arrives in Australia and is walking along the water when she suddenly is hit in the face with a ball and meets Jaz. Jaz is a single dad of two and an ex professional surfer. They run into each other again at his coffee shop a few days later and Jaz invites Lizzie to a holiday BBQ with friends. There are sparks, but she is only there a few weeks before returning to her life. This was a sweet and clean romance. I liked meeting all of the different characters, which I imagine is what Australia is like with locals, tourists, and many travelers just staying for a short time. I spent one Christmas in California and it didn’t feel like Christmas to me since I was used to one in the PNW, so I know what Lizze is feeling since her holiday is so different from what she usually experiences in London. I can’t wait to read more from this author!

This is a fun and entertaining Christmas novella that was a quick read but thoroughly enjoyable. Every Christmas book I have ever read is all about winter, and snow and dark nights. I loved the fact that this one was set in Australia and the feel of it was so different. And yet, despite the beach and the sun the author really brought out the festive spirit. I loved the characters in this book. They had a natural connection and it was lovely to watch it develop. I thought they were so well suited and I became invested in them. Although the book is quick to read, it didn’t feel like anything was missing or rushed. This is an enjoyable festive story that is worth the read.

She can go, get away, and forget all about Christmas. And avoid her family and their judgement and questions! Right? Well maybe not… She’s checking out the beach and soaking up the sun when she’s hit in the head with a football. And just like that the whole vacation is turned upside down. Getting a black eye at the beginning of her trip was not what she had in mind! Plans shift and she ends up thinking a holiday romance might be in her cards. But can she really have a holiday fling? Loads of people do it. But can she? Jaz is a single father and has loads of baggage. Although he seems sweet and wants to get to know Lizzie, she’s worried things won’t work out the way she had planned. Invited to his Christmas get together is the last thing she expected. What will happen with her non-Christmas vacation? And what about when she goes back to her life with no job and no place to stay? Moving back with you parents is humiliating! Oh my goodness, this was a cute Christmas read. There really isn’t anything in it that wasn’t enjoyable. I found the storyline quite entertaining. I could totally relate. I’d love to spend Christmas in Australia. The characters are so funny and full of personality. This is a witty romance that is a pretty quick read. The Christmas Escape by Belinda Williams is a contemporary romance story. Belinda has written a story that is fun and interesting. It is a quick read and before you know it the story is over. I have read a few of Belinda’s books and really liked them and this one is no different. This fun rom com is full of sassiness, fun, humour, a speck of naughtiness, a little angst, a bit of drama and a lot of passion and flying sparks. It is entertaining and well written, and the characters are really well developed, endearing, and fun and you cannot help but like. I am an Aussie so it stands to reason that I would enjoy it. I loved their wit, banter, chemistry, and the perfect amount of push pull as they learn more about each other. I often found myself laughing at their antics or situations they found themselves in. There is something magical about a tale that is set at Christmas time. It’s a great book to escape from the drudgery of normal life for a while with a glass of wine. I look forward to what comes next.

This is the 4th book in the Pierce Brothers Series and brings us the story of Noah and Amy. Filled with such wonderful, relatable characters and storylines it’s a hard to put down book. Amy has a new job, being a nanny. She seems perfectly suited to it because she has a positive outlook on life, and the first meeting with baby Amelia proves she has a way with children. Noah is very different from Amelia. He is single and has no intention of settling down any time soon and is pretty cynical. The two characters have an instant spark, but their personalities clash at first. However, as they get to know each other better, they begin to fall for each other. The book is a slow-burn romance, which means that the relationship between the characters develops gradually over time. A great read.

It was hard at first to read this because like Noah I lost a very dear friend to Covid and the wounds are still very raw and the missing is still very real but there is healing and little Amelia is so hard to resist ❣️😉
Beth never told Noah who Amelia’s father is and Beth’s mum is fighting cancer so Noah is in a tough spot and Amy is good with kids so she’s offered to help Noah and Amelia , she’s a nanny of sorts ….
Amelia adores Amy and watching them one would say they’re a perfect family❣️ as with matters of the heart Noah makes a decision than makes Amy leave but he goes and fetches the love of his life and they have their own HEA 🥰
I love Amelia , Amy and yes Noah made me swoon , a good read that showed you can rise from the ashes and I’m sure Beth was watching from above with pride and joy ❣️

I love a good grump & sunshine trope… and this book did not disappoint! This was my first time reading Belinda Williams, but I loved her style of writing and found this book so easy to breeze through. I will definitely be looking at the rest of this series! This book, however, was perfect as a standalone too. I definitely recommend this if you like HEA and easy-to-read books.

Noah Pierce is NOT a bright, happy optimist. In fact, his dark, brooding and silent nature are a complete contrast to Amy. So when he unexpectedly becomes the caretaker for his best friends daughter, he needs help. He has no idea how to take care of someone else, let alone suddenly being a dad and no one knows who the father is so it’s up to him to care for her.
Noah hires Amy to help care for Amelia and she sees what Noah can’t: he can be a great dad. If he only chooses to see it. Can Amy help Noah recognize his family man potential without falling in love in the process? Can a relationship survive when the line is crossed? When I saw another Pierce Brothers novel, I squealed! I’ve loved all of the ones I’ve read so far and this one is no exception. Belinda Williams writes a man just like you want him! Tall, handsome, irresistible, slightly naughty, and a heart of gold.
I am so sad to see the Pierce Brothers storylines end because they are the perfect romance to me. I laugh, I cry, and I want more from all of them.
The characters are well-written, the story is heartbreaking but lighthearted enough that you don’t dwell on the pain too much.
If you struggle with stories about loss or COVID is a tough topic for you, this story may be one to avoid for now.
Sooo, the Pierce Brothers have friends, right? Can we get some of them next?

Emotional rom-com I love this series. This is the fourth book in the Pierce Brother series and it had me all sorts of emotional. This is Noah’s story and how Amy came into his life. There’s a lot to pull at the heartstrings from loss and heart ache to becoming a parent and finding love. Highly recommend this whole series.

This is the fourth book of the Pierce Brothers Series and I’m a first time reader of this author Belinda Williams. So far I’d say she’s an amazing writer and really knows how to tell a story. This book had me going through emotional ups and downs, but I loved that they got there happily ever after. Noah and Amy are soo freaking adorable together and with Amelia. I’m already sad this is the last book fingers crossed for a spin-off. But at least I get to go back to read the Victoria and Seth story along with the other two stories involving the brothers.

Noah is a grumpy workaholic who has no idea how to be a father. Noah has no idea how a child will fit into his world. Luckily, happy-go-lucky Amy Highgate saunters into his life and is willing to take the job as his overly paid live-in nanny. Amy thought this was a great opportunity to save money to work towards her teaching degree. She had no idea that this gig would turn into an attraction for her boss.
Cry Baby is the fourth installment of the Pierce Brother series but can easily be read as a standalone. This was my first time reading a novel written by Williams and I absolutely loved her work. The characters were all lovable, relatable, and had a story to share. Amy had skeletons in her closet that didn’t surface until a specific event triggered the past. I love that Williams was able to write about these triggers and the need and response to therapy with such poise. There were times Williams brought tears to my eyes. The loss of Beth was hard on many people and the discovery of the information about Amelia’s father just stole my heart. And the letter, well we won’t talk about what that letter did to my mama heart strings!
Overall, this was a really good book! If I could rate it with more than 5 stars I most definitely would. Probably one of the best I have read all year. I personally have not read any of the other books in this series but I am headed to Amazon now to purchase the remainder of the series. I highly recommend reading Cry Baby by Belinda Williams. You won’t regret it!

When I first chose this book, I was unaware that it was part of a series, however, I don’t think I missed anything vital from the previous books. I would say it can be read as a standalone. There were aspects of the story that were deeper than I was expecting for example grief and loss however the author was navigated this very well and portrayed the emotions so well there were times I found myself feeling the emotions too. I loved the main characters, Amy and Noah, they were both sweet and trying to figure things out, overcoming their personal traumas and the way their romance progressed was very sweet, though not easy. Amy was the bubbly one, while Noah initially appears withdrawn. The way they come together, and they bounce off each other and grow as people was endearing. The writing style was easy to follow, and I didn’t want to put the book down at al even taking it to work with me. I found myself smiling and emotional alongside the characters and will certainly be going back to read the earlier books in the series – the author has a new fan in me!

Amy is looking for a nanny position while she transitions from a beauty journalist to taking university classes for education. She finds the perfect position when her best friend’s brother in law is given guardianship of his best friend’s daughter when she suddenly passes away. Noah Pierce doesn’t necessarily know how to handle a baby. Amelia is the seven month old daughter of his best friend Beth and he is so unsure of what to do. Noah is such a workaholic and that’s where Amy comes in. Amy was never meant to fall for Noah and Noah was never meant to fall for her. How could a relationship like this go wrong?
This is a cute romance that hits many different tropes. Boss to lover, Sunny vs. Grumpy, and a little just spit it out. I thought Belinda Williams did a great job of weaving these together. I had not read the previous Pierce Brothers, but works as a stand alone. There was not a lot of spice, but the spicy parts were well written and fit with the story, not just popping up out of nowhere, and I like in a book.
When Noah’s best friend suddenly passes away and leave him with her daughter Amelia, he needs help. Enter, Amy! Amy is a glass half full kinda gal and Noah has always seen the dark side since his mother passed away. Amy works hard to show Noah there is more to life than the secluded one he has built for himself. When working through his issues, she finds she may have been burrying some of her own.

After having read other books in the Pierce Brothers series I was pretty excited to read this one. For me Cry Baby fell a bit short. It didn’t quite have the hook I was looking for and it moved slow. Belinda Williams is a great author! I’m sure I will find another book by her that brings me back in!

I love a good grumpy sunshine book! Watching the change take place from grump to cuddly love here is always heart warming. Noah was a numbers man and by the book. Watching him with sunny and cheerful Amy was quite the transformation. Each grumpy sunshine has its own unique dynamic and theirs was one that was unforgettable.
