This was a good continuation from book 1, which I highly recommend reading first. In this part we still see the fight against the sorcerer but with some new found information they may now have a secret weapon. I really enjoyed this and wouldn’t mind seeing stories from others in this clan or even longer stories as I felt I wanted a little bit more as everything happened so so fast.

In this book Lillie finds that she is happy living with the Zayed and learning all about their lifestyles. The love scenes are very well written as is the whole book. Everly Taylor does a good job with both of these books, she paints a good picture of a fantasy world. I recommend you read book 1 first so you will understand what is happening because book 2 starts at the end of the first book and can leave you lost if you haven’t read the first one.

Blue Summer Part One needs to be read before Blue Summer Part Two. This picks off after book 1 and I’ve got to say what a fantastic read. Taylor sure knows what she’s doing.
Lillie is once again captured by Enuris. She escapes and meets up with Heath and friends. Once again they are trying to stop the evil sourcer. The quote I chose for Lillie is: “I guess, we just take it one step at a time from here then?”
Heath is Lillie’s first mate. When she is taken from under his nose things get tough. When They figure out what she is, things make sense. The quote I chose for Heath is: “Neither did you. It wouldn’t be fair to hold your mother’s decisions against you . Hell, you have only tried to help us since the moment you were kidnapped. It’s no wonder the Universe chose you for us.”

I’m really loving this series. What really fascinates me is that the main female character can have more than one mate. I loved the ending for this one. It was very fast paced and easy to read. I’m excited to see what Everly Taylor comes up with next.

Blue Summer Part Two by Everly Taylor was a really good read! This book picks up right where the first one left. This was a cute, quick read, but definitely not a cute book for children, as this book contains several adult scenes. Now in my review of the first book, I said the Zayed reminded me of the blue people in the Avatar movie. When I was looking through other reviews, I saw someone mention they reminded them of the Smurfs. After reading this sequel I can definitely agree with that. The characters have so many attributes of the smurfs (including the mushrooms) that I honestly have no idea how I didn’t see that reading the first book! This is like an adult surf novel! I think I liked this part better than the first one, there was a lot more happening and it seemed more exciting to me than the first one. The ending was very abrupt to me, so I’m kind of hoping Taylor writes a third part just so I can see how Lillie is adjusting to the life of a Zayed! Overall though I thoroughly enjoyed reading this series, and especially this book!

Blue Summer Part Two by Everly Taylor is a very fast-paced, engrossing sequel that I couldn’t put down. Lillie is kidnapped a second time by the sorcerer, and action ensues once more. She feels as though she finally fits in someplace and now her world is thrown up in the air again. More detail is added to Lillie and her friends, so the characters become more rounded, and I can’t help but love them. I would definitely recommend finishing the first book in order to read this one, as it holds a lot of information you need in order to fully enjoy part two. 4 out of 5 stars. I highly recommend this series by Everly Taylor, and I know you will love Lillie and her friends just as much as I do!

Blue Summer part Two is the second installment to this series and this reader loved it just as much as the first installment. Ms. Taylor provides us with a continuation of this paranormal romance story, giving her readers everything from love, magic, romance, drama, suspense and more. Her characters are just as realistic as they were in the first installment, making it easier to fall in love with them, and feel all of their emotions. Based on the cover and the descriptions of this series you aren’t sure what your getting into but once you start you won’t be able to put it down. Ms. Taylor’a writing style is so unique and amazing that I read Blue Summer part Two in one sitting. Her writing style is so easy to get swept away in that I look forward to reading more from her.

This is the second part to the adventures of Lillie and the Zayed, we start with Chief and Brian as they man the computers in the offices and Chief has a bad feeling about sending Heath, Clay and Lillie to her apartment to gather her things, that is until Erius appears near her apartment. As they start to panic and head out, Heath and Clay come running in while trying to explain what happened and how Lillie was in her room packing while they went to answer the door to her landlord, but they couldn’t get to her quickly enough and she disappeared. As they try to come up with a plan to get rid of him once and for all, they decide that in order to do that they need to get Lillie back first. Meanwhile, Lillie has been given a vial of something by Erius and is struggling to move while he pompously talks to his mink Martin as he prepares to start the interrogation, but she just about manages to hide her leg and any evidence she has been with the Zayed.
As Erius starts to question Lillie, he tells her that the serum he has given her will cause her extreme pain if she lies to him, so as she decides what she can say to be evasive but avoid the pain and for the most part she manages, however, she realises that the potion is wearing off and she can start to move, so she decides to try and make her escape. As she is doing this, the four Zayed are heading towards the tower where Lillie is being held, she decides to use some of her skills that Erius will not be expecting and escapes again by distracting him and running the same way she did the first time, much to the surprise of everyone and the frustration of Erius.
As they all regroup and try to find a way to stop Erius once and for all, Lillie and the four Zayed use their skills and ingenuity to come up with a plan, but will they be able to stop Erius one and for all, or will their luck run out? This is a magical race against time with highs and lows making it a gripping sequel you will want to finish.

Let me start by saying that you absolutely should read the first book before this one as this one starts where the first one left off and the first book has a hard cliffhanger.
In part two we continue this Smurf reimagining with the events leading in from the previous book coming to a head. Personally, I feel like the first book was stronger in story telling and this would have worked better as one book versus being split into two. It does have an HEA, so that’s something to look forward to. Overall, I would have liked to see more of a solid emotional connection between the characters instead of the insta-love, but if you liked the Smurfs, the nostalgia kind of helps things along.

I enjoyed this lighthearted RH story, it was a really easy read. You need to have read part one before this book. Lillie is now mated to Zayed and has feelings for more, how could she possibly be attracted to all four. With each guy she start gaining powers but doesn’t understand why. Erius is still determined to keep kidnapping until he gains the power he craves, using any means he can. Lillie finds out some surprising things about her past, and it only make her more determined to help save the first place that feels like home. This story is enjoyable but not complicated. Lillie is a heroine who doesn’t seem to need her guys to save her, but definitely wants to keep them around.

I loved this second book to the series, and I was not disappointed. This book flowed so easily and I did not want the story to end! I love the Zayed for sure, they are good people. Lillie is surrounded by so much love with the Zayed. Lillie truly believe for the first time in her life, she felt she belonged with the Zayed. Throw in the evil Erius, whom wants all the powers that the Zayed possess and a mystery of the story behind Lillie and you have a great paranormal book. I so enjoyed this series. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This is the second book in this series that I have read. I must admit, I didn’t love this one quite as much as I did the first book. But it’s still a great read and one I do recommend you pick up. Once again the author did a wonderful job with the paranormal description she used in the book. The romance was also just as good, but for some reason I just didn’t feel like the chemistry was as real as in the first book. At least not until the end. Perhaps that was the authors decision to keep you guessing until the end when you did realize that they were a good couple. This is another very fast paced read filled with just as much magic, drama, and suspense as the first book which I once again loved. This series isn’t one that you must read the books to understand the storyline. You can pick this one up without reading the predecessor and enjoy it just as much.

This is the second book in the Blue Summer series and it was just as captivating as the first one. The magic and romance is still there as well as the lurking danger of Erius. The characters are so amazingly written. Each one of Lillie’s mates are unique and have different personalities but they all complement Lillie as if they were all parts that make up Lillie.
In this part of the story after Lillie escapes again from Erius’s evil clutches, she and her mates realise that Eruis won’t stop until they stop him. As they plan to go to battle Lillie finally gets her other mates which strengthen their bond completely. There are also secrets that are uncovered along the way which when revealed explain a lot about Lillie and the things that have happened that lead her to the Zayed.

This is the second part of the Blue Summer and i knew i had i to get my hands on this one after reading part one. I like them both but this one was my favorite! I would suggest reading them in order!! I couldn’t put this one down. I devoured it because it was well written and i loved the characters. Blue Summer Part Two by Everly Taylor was an awesome continuation of the first book. I loved that there was more history and character development in this book. There is a little bit of something for every reader; mystery, paranormal, suspense, and romance. I really liked that the plot was developed and pacing was really well done. If you haven’t read the first book…you gotta start there!
This book begins where the first one left off. While they are trying to figure out whey Erius once again kidnaps Lillie to figure out what she knows. After escaping (again) Lillie and the guys must figure out how to stop Erius. However, as Lillie’s past comes to light, they learn there is so much more to lose by not stopping Erius.
I enjoyed all of these characters. Each of the guys brings a part of Lillie to life….and together they are unstoppable. Overall, this was a good series that I enjoyed reading.

This is the second book in the series that I have read and also the second from this author. I was not disappointed. I really like finding new authors and series and I also like to venture out of my go to genre. This was one of those books. I really like how the author is able to bring the characters to life. Even though this is paranormal based I felt as though I was right in the thick of the drama and goings on. I could not put this book down.
I really like how there is drama and adventure in this book and how the characters are all about defeating the evil. I like the paranormal side of the book with magic and such. I find that there is just the right balance of drama and adventure. I really look forward to reading more from this author in the future. I like to get lost in fantasy worlds just to escape.

This takes up where pt 1 finished. Another brilliant instalment- written exactly how the second book should be – without the info dumping. So, I recommend reading Pt 1 before delving into this one. The action starts straight away and as Lillie comes to understand the Zayed she discovers more than she bargained for. The writing and world building is fantastic and Lillie goes from strength to strength. I really enjoyed her character and how she stayed true to herself. I highly recommend this series.

What a great sequel! Well just when you think Lillie has things worked out things spiral out of control again at the end of book one.This makes you immediately want to start part two! With trying to navigate new things and then to have a power hungry sorcerer coming after you makes life even harder. Will things finally work out for Lillie and the Zayed? I basically jumped right from the first book into reading this one because I just had to know what happened. This was an excellent read! The Zayed community was fun to imagine and the pictures in my head gave me small town vibes, and made me wish I could meet all of them. The relationships highlighted the differences in each of them in a way that in real life, they would be teased by their friends for being too cute, and gave some diversity in the relationship as well as inclusivity in the type of relationship. The diversity between the friends was also very prevalent and was awesome to see, because it’s relatable in that most of the time, we don’t become friends with people just like us. If everyone were the same, life would be boring. Also, seeing the evil sorcerer and the way they all plotted to keep him from winning was definitely fun and kept me engrossed throughout the entire story.

Blue Summer Part Two is the second book in the Blue Summer series by Everly Taylor. This paranormal fantasy is a short read that I couldn’t put down. This book begins wherebook one left off with Lillie captured by the evil sorcerer. She needs to escape and get back to the Zayed, where she finally feels like she has a home. This book is filled with action just like the first, and we learn more about the characters, which just makes me want more. I was really enchanted with how this book ends, but I hope that Ms. Taylor will continue to write about the Zayed people in future books. I recommend that you read part one before you dive into this book or you will not have all of the important backstory. These two books were a prefect start to my summer reading.

Blue Summer Part Two is definitely everything I had hoped it would be. Now, I hope it would go without saying that this being a part two you should read the first book before diving into this one, but to each their own. This is an interesting set of books that builds a whole new world that is set up for us in book one and we revisit in this installment with the same wonderful characters that we fell in love with. I love how Ms. Taylor has made this unique world for us to escape into so easily. Her writing style is so descriptive and flows so well that the reader is transported easily and feels as if they are walking alongside the characters. I am eager to see what else is available by her Everly Taylor and what will come next!

Taylor is really done an interesting approach with an underlying story that harkens back to my childhood. This book and its series predecessor definitely were imaginative and took me down a path I was unprepared for. I found the plot to move well and appreciated the conflict that lay underneath everything. It was well written and interesting and I look forward to seeing what the author writes next.

The continuing adventure from part one of Lillie, Heath, Chief, Brian and Clay against the bad sorcerer, Erius. When we last left Erius had kidnapped Lillie and the guys were trying to figure out how to safely get her back. They are trying hard. Lillie has grown so much during these challenges. She has become stronger and braver at standing up for herself, much to the chagrin of the guys. It is wonderful to see because the Zayed allow her to be who she is. She is not supposed to stifle herself. She also learns a life-changing secret that has been kept from her her entire life. Again the author has outdone herself with some major finale action. The ending is outstanding!! I could picture the scene with color and sound just like I was there. I have truly enjoyed this series. I hope to read more from this author.

Blue Summer Part two starts off directly where Part One finished off. If you haven’t read the first part yet, I would suggest doing so before reading this book. After reading the first book I was very intrigued to see where Part two was going to take me. Part one finished with a cliff hanger so I immediately started the second part and I was not disappointed. The characters are sarcastic, witty, smart, caring and just really relatable except for, you know, the magical aspect of their lives. I loved seeing the relationships build into something powerful and loving. I almost think with this many main ones a longer story would have given me a chance to get to know more and feel more connected to them. Maybe a part of each as a couple or more than just a bio.
The bad guy is classic…pure evil. I did enjoy each of these characters and still liked Heath the best. This is an okay story and perfect for a short quick read.

Blue Summer Part Two by Everly Taylor is a fantasy paranormal story and the second book to this tale. It is full of drama and suspense, fantasy and romance, sarcasm and wit, and magic. What more could you ask for? Again, as with the first book the premise of the story is interesting, but it felt like there could have been so much more to take it to the next level. It was good to see where Everly took the story and seeing where it ended, and I look forward to reading more of her work.

Blue Summer Part Two by Everly Taylor is the second story in the series and is not meant to be a stand alone story.
First of all, I think the synopsis is adorable and I loved the go big or go home statement! Everly has written Lillie as a wonderful character and someone I would either love to be, or at least hang out with! I was worried the second story wouldn’t be as good as the first, but it truly exceeded expectations.
When Lillie finds herself in a similar position, can she and the Zayed find a way out, or are they all spiraling towards disaster?
