Once again Amy McKinley has written such a great book! I love that the Mafia Elite series can be read in order or by themselves and the entire book still makes sense! The character overlap and development is perfect!
Amy grabs readers attention from the very beginning and never drops it!
In this story we meet Em and Stefano and why they have every reason to call it quits and find safety they find safety in each other! The way readers are able to live the story as your read it is so well done and the book can’t be put down!

Born in Darkness (Mafia Elite #3) by Amy McKinley

Not the first book I’ve read by the author. The author has many great books, but this is by far my favorite series. Born in Darkness is the third book in the Mafia Elite Series. Each book is amazing on its own.

Stefano is planning on taking over as the others already have. He has had feelings for Emiliana for a while now, but he wants to keep it a secret. That’s until something happens to her. The quote I chose for Stefano is: “Is she in Italy? The trafficking ring was dismantled over four years ago.”

Emiliana is the younger sister of Enzo. Therefore she’s very well protected and not just by her brother. All their friends protect her as well. Stefano being the most important one. The quote I chose for Emiliana is: “I’m not fragile. I wanted that and more. Stop acting like I’ll break. If I don’t want you to do something, I’ll tell you.”

Highly recommended for Romantic Suspense lovers.
