Dragon Bond by Lilliana Rose – Review by Caylene Newton

Dragon Bond: A Monster Brides RomanceDragon Bond: A Monster Brides Romance by Lilliana Rose
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Dragon’s bond is kind of a forbidden romance book with a few spicier scenes towards the end. I am a big fan of dragons, so this story was right up my ally and was very enjoyable.
Roran is a dragon shifter who is forbidden to mingle amongst the humans and Lila, a bartender who recently found out some devastating news that changed her world. After some issues that came up at the bar Lila works at, she and Roran fall into a very unexpected whirlwind romance. The ochre clan (Roran’s dragon clan) catches him breaking the rules and exposes the secret he was trying to keep from Lila. They are faced with the consequences of Roran’s defiance and now they will have to try and grow this new relationship with some very difficult obstacles.

Watch for the next book in the series Dragon Reborn to see if the two can manage to keep their relationship growing!

Shadows In The Dark (Dark Lotus Series) by Anise Storm & Taylor L. Ray – Review by Caylene Newton

Shadows in the Dark (Dark Lotus #1)Shadows in the Dark by Anise Storm
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A Shadow in The Dark is a dark romance book that has references to a decent amount of violence and explicit sexual references regarding the BDSM lifestyle along with talk of death. The book contains a lot of spice with a slow building romance.
Adrian, the CEO of benedict technologies by day and DOM by night who is looking for a new submissive to entertain himself with. Brynn an executive assistant to three men, one of which starts to become more persistent in pursuing her, leading her to start job hunting. Brynn soon discovers that her sister was found deceased and makes the decision to move into her sister’s condo. In this process of going through her sisters’ items, she learns that her sister had a secret life that she was not aware of. Brynn slowly starts to research and insert herself into this lifestyle in hopes that she will get invited to the secret club and find answers regarding her sister’s murder. However, the adventure starts to reveal things about her own self that she finds shocking.
As Brynn starts a new chapter in her life, the book leaves me to question how Brynn will proceed after finding out who her new boss is.

Be on the look out for “Whispers in The Dark” book 2 in the trilogy!

Strings Attached (A Braebeach Rockstar Romance) by Loriana Cappello – Review by Caylene Newton

Strings Attached- Lorianna Cappello

The perfect mix of spice, romance, and drama. The character development and pace of the story was perfect and kept my attention from the first paragraph.

The story takes place in Braebeach and follows Ash Chambers (up and coming rockstar) and Calla Bryson (university student) as they rekindle a past friendship leading to a summer romance. They quickly realize what they wanted to be just a fun summer fling was becoming way more than either of them intended. Calla and Ash both had a crush on each other during secondary school, however due to a mutual friend they never acted on it. They now have a chance to see where their relationship could go. Calla’s life starts to change as she discovers she has a brother, and the band Ash is apart of is about to take off. Will they be able to manage their relationship with the distance, outside forces plotting against them, and will Calla be able to handle all the newfound attention Ash will be receiving due to the bands fame?

Be on the look out for more from Lorianna as the Braebeach Romance Series will continue to follow the lives of the other 3 band members!

Love and Fate (A Braebeach Rockstar Romance) by Loriana Cappello – Review by Caylene Newton

Love and Fate (Braebeach Rockstar #2)Love and Fate by Loriana Cappello
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Love and Fate – Lorianna Cappello

This is the second book in the Braebeach Rockstar Romance series, which follows each band member and their current lives.
Love and Fate has the perfect combination of drama, anger, grief (if death triggers you be aware this story does touch on a wife and her journey after), forgiveness, romance, and a few spicier scenes! Love and Fate follows the lives of Angie and Tommy while also giving us time to catch up on Ash and Calla’s life as well.
Tommy and Angie shared a summer romance which ended in a not-so-great way ultimately leading Angie to the love of her life, Scott (Calla’s Brother). Angie, Ash, and Calla were faced with a huge tragedy which pulled Tommy away from his current girlfriend Chelsea so he could be there to help his chosen family through their hard time. Tommy’s feeling for Angie start to resurface leading him to ending his current relationship, shortly after this Tommy winds up trapped in a toxic marriage to Chelsea; after finding out she is carrying his child. This very toxic marriage eventually ends due to Chelsea not being faithful, leaving Tommy to parent Ozzie on his own.
He moved back home to Braebeach where his friends (Ash, Calla, Angie, and the other band members currently live). Tommy never really lost feelings for Angie, however due to circumstances the timing has never been right. Will Tommy’s divorce and decision to move be the start of something more for Angie and him or will their timing never be right?
Crying, laughing, irritation, anger, and happiness; If you want to feel every emotion possible within a short time this is the book for you!
