This is a cute chapter story about the Loch Ness monster. I like the magic Wickstrom brings to Nessie and through a child’s eye. The illustrations were colorful and appealing to see how they matched the story. For a children’s story, I’m not sure the conflict between the parents at the beginning is appropriate for a very young audience. It feels like the book has some scenes that would be for an older child audience. Other than that, I like the plot and the different viewpoint about the Loch Ness Monster.
