Shadows of Doubt
A Crawford Mystery
By Merissa Racine
☆☆☆☆☆
Full length crime story. Very intense and non stop action. Shadows of Doubt is the second book in this series. I recommend you start with Book 1. No Spoilers Here!
Lauren Besoner is a stenographer looking to work any case she finds. Even if she has to work with her ex-husband, the Judge. During this particular trial something is not right and she suspects it. But… Does she stand up or remain seated and just follow what she’s told? What some may not know is Lauren was just on a case that has been discontinued. Ended because the victim has been murdered. But By Who?
Merissa Racine starts her story out on a run. It is well written and promises to keep you engaged. The intensity of her story itself will keep you wanting more. At times I felt like I was the character listening and typing away. Laurens ability to think, type and listen are on point. There are many different outcomes to her story. Which she will touch on, keeping your mind’s eye Interested and working overtime. Trust? Who? Well done Merissa Racine. WELL DONE!

Wrong For Him
Love Lottery
Book 3
By Christi Barth

This is a story of chance. It all started out as a small group of friends and the struggles life has offered them. By chance lottery tickets were bought and someone got the prize of a lifetime. There is a secret stirring of a romance. Amelia wants more from Teague and he feels the same. But the two fight their inner thoughts. Now working together every day could be a challenge. How will Amelia and Teague keep from letting their hearts be known. Will this cause hardship between them and Alex? Afterall Alex is Amelia’s big brother and Teague’s best friend. Reading this story could answer those questions.

Christi Barth, WOW! Christi Barth has written a 3rd book to this series. It will draw you in just as the others did. It opens more hearts than the characters alone can. The characters are a true balance of friends, ones we would love to know ourselves. Once I started I could not put it down. This story has all the feels of a strong romance. I truly enjoyed reading Wrong For Him. I recommend you read the complete series, as it is a building of friendship, and a story of love. Well Done Christi Barth. Well Done!

But will these two unlikely people become mated? Will Elias convince Mila she is his mate! Will Drake finely be stopped before he hurts or kills somebody else?

Toya Richardson is my new favorite paranormal author. Her story is fast paced and she leaves you wanting so much more. I was drawn in on the first page and could not stop reading, until the last page had been read. The characters in this story have strong roles and Mila is no push over. She is strong willed and has no problem taking what is hers. As for Elias, he is too hot to handle. The romance between these two people is nothing more than HOT! Hot! HOT! Well Done Toya Richardson! Well Done!

This story will definitely get your heart pumping. This is a crime story with a thrilling thriller. Cady Fox has worked hard to be the best lawyer. Now with a possible partnership in her grasp, that is all she was thinking about as she headed home on her bike. A ride she has taken every night, just for the exercise. But tonight will be different, so different she could be headed to prison for murder. No spoilers from this reviewer.

A.J.Ullman wrote this highly intense crime story. I was grabbed on page one and could not put the book down. He leaves no stone unturned, and you can’t help looking around at every sound, creak or pop. I remained at the edge of my seat, while reading this story. I love Cady and Easy, their friendship with benefits is outstanding. The characters in this story will leave you wanting so much more. Well Done A.J.Ullman! Well Done! ! !

Noemie’s Journey AUDIO BOOK by Victoria Saccenti – Review by Cindy Mayberry

Noemie’s Journey

AUDIO BOOK

By Victoria Saccenti

☆☆☆☆☆

This is a romance with a little bit of a history. The days when mixed marriages were frowned upon. In this story Noemie and Richard come face to face with racism. You will get to go back to the sixties and read along as these two incredible people fight for love. Richard will do just about anything for Noemie. Noemie, having racism thrown at her daily, just wants to protect the man she loves. Even if it means she can’t see him or love him. How will these 2 beautiful people’s hearts find where love leads them?

Victoria Saccenti has opened the door to the 60s. A time when the people were divided by race and color. A time where people could get killed over talking to the wrong person. Growing up in the 60s I remember hearing such horrific stories. This is a beautifully written story about just such forbidden love. One I think everybody will enjoy. Noemie is such a strong independent woman. Richard is a strong protector, who loves who he loves. The characters in this story are believable in how life was back then. You will find the world around you fades away as you listen to this story of forbidden love. Hop on this audio train and listen in. Well Done Victoria Saccenti!  Well Done! ! !

You are about to step into a quaint little pub. You will meet new friends and enjoy the peacefulness that sets before you. That is what makes this a Contemporary Romance. One I am sure you will enjoy as much as I did.
Pandora Sebastian is a model who just needs some quiet. Stress from work had taken over and she just needed to get away. Running from yet another photoshoot, she hops into the closest car and drives away. Many things lead up to her driving away but I’ll let you read it for yourself. Jonas Carruthers owns the little pub that Pandora walks into. He has his own story to tell as well. No Spoilers will be found here.

Nicole Flockton wrote this “easy to get caught up in” novel. It is well written and keeps you entertained. I recommend you read Book 1 so you are caught up and ready to read Pandora and Jonas’ story. This author ends her story where the next one starts. Giving you a little taste of what is coming. I have grown to love the characters and their roles in the little town. This is one of those books that make it hard to put down. I am looking forward to reading the next in this series. Well Done Nicole Flockton! Well Done!!

This is another great addition to the ” Logan McKenna Series “. This is a full length crime story, and one you won’t want to miss. As always I recommend you read this series in order to keep caught up and ready for this one.
Logan and Ben are about to start a new journey to their lives. But first she needs a getaway, someplace to rest and relax. Traveling to Oregon to visit friends, she finds much more than anticipated. Here is where the adventure starts. A dead body, mystery, suspense and family will come out in this page turning story. It’s up to Logan to find the answers, and catch the true suspect. Will Logan find her guilty suspect? Will it be one of her friends?

Valerie Davisson has gone and written another intense crime story. One you won’t soon be putting down. Her Logan McKenna Series just keeps getting better with every mystery. Logan is still a strong independent woman, always ready to get to the answer. While she brings in new characters, some are still within her storyline. This is one of those series that leave you wanting more. Well Done Valerie Davisson! Well Done! ! !

This is a full length ranch style romance. Complete with cowboys and horses. Families and those that drama have touched. Read how Rhett keeps the ranch alive, takes his brother and estranged ill father in. After making the necessary changes to accommodate his father. Rhett has some pretty hard trials to get through, but can it do it? Let’s not forget the beautiful Cassandra, the one that hurt him, well she is back as well. So read on to see if things will heat up or cool down for this couple.
Bree M. Lewandowski is to thank for this contemporary romance. I love how this story quickly became a page turner. I could not put it down. Rhett and Cassandra play their part well in this story. The whole list of characters brings Saratoga Roan to life. The book was easy to follow, leaving your focus on the main characters. I look forward to the next Second Chance Romance. Well Done Bree M. This is a full length novel. Great for teens dealing with loss. High School is hard enough, with homework, boyfriends and besties. Then the worst is the loss of a grandparent, well really any loss. This is one of the best books I have read, dealing with teens in mind.
Emme is close to her grandparents, and is dating the popular Brendon Agretti all while going to high school. When Emme’s grandmother falls ill, she finds herself trying to keep everything normal. Which proves hard as her grandfather is also in poor health, and seems lost. Also dating Brendon has its challenges. Read and find out how Emme deals with such trying times.

Krysten Lindsay Hager really pulled out all the stops with this coming of age story. I wish this was available when I was in school. I love Emme and her friends. Dealing with high school and home life is hard enough. This quick reading page turner holds so many questions that can be answered while reading this story. I recommend this to teens and adults dealing with losing a family member. Well Done Krysten Lindsay Hager! Well Done! ! !

She takes her life back, with the help of family and friends. Working with Dr. Colin’s is just what she needed to keep busy. But when an accident happens, Dr. Colin is slipping away. Nicole Flockton has laid this book out perfectly. Her characters are strong and lovable. This story is well written and a real page turner. Nothing has been left out.
