Cop-Off (Love Burns Series Book 2) by Isobel Reed – Review by Cindy Mayberry

Cop-Off (Love Burns Series Book 2)Cop-Off by Isobel Reed
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

There is nothing better than a great ongoing snarky romance. But Cat and Cody are out to get on each other’s nerves. They are both the devil in disguise, just ask them. Cody is a single dad and a cop. Cat on the other hand has had a crappy year, living in the small town of Woodvalley Pines, she is determined to find her happiness. This story is fast paced and the main characters are snarky to each other. Which makes for a great read. This is a romance to remember, so fun to read and watch Cat and Cody work through their differences. I really enjoyed this story, and know you will too. I have read other stories from this author and she never disappoints. Get ready for another must have series.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Being a child without love and care makes life tough. While Beefy parents love him they are working parents. But when Beefy starts picking on Gavin, Gavin calls his friends for help. The Super Buddies and their Bot Giorgio. What will Beefy do when the Super Buddies show up? Will they help Gavin or Beefy? This was a great story about Bullying. It is clear and easy to read. Even the pictures tell the story clearly. I love this story and feel it needs to be in every child’s library. This is by far the best Bully story I have read in a long time. I hope you and your children enjoy it as much as we did.

Baking, science, math and working together to name a few. The story is easy to follow and the recipes at the end sound so yummy for our dogs. Children will love baking for their dogs as well as their friends’ dogs. I love this book and my grandkids can’t wait to try more of the recipes found at the end of this book. What a great story!

Being a preschool teacher and owner, I have read my share of ABC books. They are pretty much all the same. Apple, bear, cat, dog, ect….. This author’s version is so much fun. New more sophisticated words, they too know our children are so much smarter than we give them credit. I love reading and corresponding to my grandchildren. I also love the definition in the back of the book. Allowing us to educate our little ones. You’re going to love this book. It should be on the shelves of Every library. Let’s get away from those simple ABCs once our children get past word repeating, more challenging too!

Which I have learned is so much more important than just weight loss. I have been through so many diet books and failed at many. This is one book that is well worth the reading. Many books out there have suggestions but none have been this helpful. The author of this book really knows her stuff. You can tell she has done her research, which I admire in an author. I hope this book helps you with your weight loss as well as your struggles to get healthy.

It touches on many important facts of our history. The Boston Tea Party, Bunker Hill and so many more. The story is fast paced and loaded with great information.
While this is not a book for me, many of you will enjoy it. I know many of my history readers who would enjoy the facts that are shared. As this author has done his research before writing this book. The characters are realistic and also share so much of what life was like for them. This is definitely a series for all history buff’s. What a fantastic story. Storm, Marcus and Barrington were/are the very best of friends growing up. But Barrington and Marcus’s family don’t see Storm as a good fit to the family. Therefore Storm leaves and gives the boys their own lives as she goes in search of her own as a DEA agent. The rest you will need to read to believe. As I give no Spoilers. When Storm returns back to town broken and injured, will Marcus and Barrington come to help her rescue? Will she let them in? This author has really impressed me with this story. It has all the feels you could ask for as well as some you have not. The story is fast paced and will keep you glued in. May even keep you up all night. The characters are strong, independent and loving. The story is well written and never slows down. This is part of a series but can be a standalone. However I am going back to read from the beginning as I do want so much more from this series.

The Fallen Man Audiobook (The Olympic Peninsula Book 5) by Cat Treadgold – Review by Cindy Mayberry

WOW! First let me tell you, STOP! Starting the first book in this series is in my opinion where this series starts. Getting to know all of the valuable characters will only bring the series together as you start to read book 5. Having said that, this story just gets better as you turn the pages. This is Edward O’Connell’s story. His life takes so many journeys. His life from Priesthood to finding Lisette. Lisette has a story of her own, making this a story well worth the wait. This story will play with all of your emotions, from both of the main characters. I love this author and her writing skills. Her story is fast paced and will keep you wanting so much more. I can hardly wait to see what her next series brings us.

Just another great teaching story, with fun to be had by all. Dinopotamus and his friends are learning about opposite word meanings. Some are easy, but then some can be harder to understand. I love that this author did not use only easy examples. Leaving a thought process for the child and the characters in the story. Opening up more conversations between the reader and the students. In my opinion there is another better than a book that leaves room for more learning. After the story has finished. This is another book that belongs in every child’s library. I hope you enjoy the story as much as we did.

What a story it is as well. Plenty to keep you reading and the twists and turns will keep the story intriguing. He is an information specialist and she is a romance writer. The couple meet online and that is all I will tell you. This is my first book from this author. WOW she is quite the writer. She keeps her readers guessing and stuck in the moment. Making this a must read. Please take the time to read book 1 in this series, as there is plenty to build up to book 2. Now I have to go get book 1, read it and then read book 2 to prepare for book 3.
