The second book in the War of Destiny series was good. Julia’s story has always had twists and turns, but this book took it to the next level. I was so not expecting the twists that occurred in this installment of the series. I enjoyed the book and look forward to reading more from this author and continuing Julia’s story.
The Second Alpha Heir by C.L. LedfordI did enjoy this book. Nolen’s story was really interesting and draws you in as we watch him grow and develop into the alpha he was meant to be. The author created a really interesting story and I found myself really enjoying it. I look forward to reading more from this author.
Jake the Growling Dog Shares His Trail by Samantha Shannon

I highly recommend this book. Once again we meet Jake the growling dog, this time he is exploring his own backyard and comes across some strange footprints which make him a little scared because something strange is on his turf. Jake and his friends went out together to find out what was going on in their neighborhood. What they found was another dog who only had 3 legs. The moral was that it took them a minute to even notice that the dog only had 3 legs because they were so impressed by his ability and they had not even noticed the lack of a leg. Once again the author includes life lessons for the kids to help them grow.
Another excellent book about Jake the growling dog. In this book, Jake is thrown into something new, he has to go to daycare. Going into a new experience can be terrifying, but with help from his friends Jake learns that new experiences are not necessarily bad. The author again provided some helpful tips that will help anyone to cope with going into new experiences and cope with the changes. I highly recommend this book to parents for the kids.
Jake the Growling Dog by Samantha Shannon

This is a really cute children’s book. This is the first book in a series about Jake the lovable dog who growls all the time. The growling can make others feel like Jake is mad or sad, but that’s not the case. Jake is a very happy dog who just happens to growl. The author includes in the book activities for kids to reinforce the lesson from the book. This is an excellent book and I highly recommend it to parents for your kids.
Distant Memories: A Nurse Morgan Series: Book Two by Kate MacInnis

This series just keeps getting better. This is the second novel in the series about a nurse who developed the ability to see ghosts after a medical emergency. I enjoyed this installment of the series. There was some drama and I loved watching Morgan and Caleb fall further in love. This is a good series and I look forward to reading the next book.
Distant Heart Sounds by Kate MacInnis

This book was a nice enjoyable read. The story has a nice flow and the characters were very relatable. Morgan was so real mostly because the reality of her recovering from a major health issue a changed person felt true. I look forward to reading more from this author.

I enjoyed this novel. Chloe’s story is just beginning with this book and what a beginning it was. Chloe and Quintus under take a journey to save the fae and the journey had many twists and turns. I loved how they found each other and continued to fight and struggle to do the right thing.The author created a really interesting story and I look forward to reading the next installment of the series.

I read Witch Switch by Louisa Bacio from this anthology. This story was simply delightful. Cheyenne and Rafe’s story was a joy to read and I found myself rooting for them as they faced their adversary. The journey of Cheyenne and Rafe to finding love together had some suspense and intrigue, which made for an interesting story. I enjoyed the story and do look forward to reading more from this author.
Toby: The (Mostly) True Story of a Former Bad Dog by Stephenie Wilson Peterson

This book was so cute. I think children just learning to read would enjoy reading about Toby and his constant struggle to be a good dog, even if the naughty cat won’t let him. It has some really funny points and the story was something kids would like. This is a cute little book and I think many young readers will enjoy it.
Exit Strategy by C.L. Schneider

All I can say is wow. This is the final book of the series and it definitely delivered. I have said it before, this author’s stories are epic and remind me of some of the great fantasy authors like JRR Tolkien and CS Lewis. The author created a dynamic world and story which I was really loving. I cannot wait to see more from her.

This series just keeps getting better and better. Once again I was delighted by the vibrant world and story that this author created. Dahlia Nite is a heroine that captures your attention and your respect. Taking part in her journey as she works to unravel the mystery that is taking place has been really interesting and fun. This author builds a dynamic world and I enjoyed my time in it.

I enjoyed this book. The author created a dynamic world and a really interesting story. As I followed Ember on her journey I found myself rooting for her and hoping that she would get the future she deserved. The story had adventure and intrigue, it kept me entertained throughout the whole book. This author is someone I look forward to seeing more from and to reading the next book in the series.

This book was so good. It was a fitting end for the series. Rowena’s journey had so many different paths it could have taken but I really like the path the author chose. I love the fact that at the end the reader finds that Rowena and Vincenzo do get a happy ending, although not in the way the reader might have anticipated. This author developed a dynamic world and story, I look forward to reading more from her.

This novel was really good. It is a werewolf novel with a bit of twist on how werewolves were created, this made the novel interesting and different. Vampires are one of my favorite supernatural creatures. I have loved vampires ever since I first heard of Dracula when I was in junior high. I am always looking forward to new novels about vampires and this book did not disappoint me at all. Sam and Layla’s story was a bit different but that just made it all the more interesting to read. This author created a really good book and I look forward to seeing more from this author.

This is a really cool children’s book just right for those little girls and boys who are interested in discovery and science. My granddaughter is one of those. She loves experimenting and trying to figure stuff out. She would love this book and would want to replicate each of the experiments. So if your children or grandchildren are interested in experimenting and discovering new things I recommend this book for them.

This book was surprisingly good. It was a story about Gods and elves but they seemed so real and approachable somehow. Reading Bernard’s story was intriguing and interesting. The story had some twists and turns that kept me interested as I tried to figure out how it would end. This is the first book in a series and I am looking forward to reading the next book.

I enjoyed this novel. Love stories and stories about shifters are one of my favorite genres. Brandon and Macy’s story was a joy to read and it had some laughs. I was pleasantly surprised by this novel. As I read the synopsis of the story I thought although it was not my normal cup of tea but what the heck I will give it a shot and I am happy I did. Abbey’s story is unique and I found it interesting. The story had adventure and surprises, I could not put it down until I finished. If you enjoy ghost stories with a twist then I highly recommend this series to you. I look forward to reading more from him.

Going through Julia’s story was at times heartbreaking because of all the character endured in life and after. It is a good novel and the author has weaved together a vibrant world and story. I liked this book. The story was really interesting and packed with adventure and drama. The author created a really vibrant world that draws you in and makes you want to be a part of the world. The story follows Adrijana as she tries to solve the mystery of who is trying to kill the royal family. Her journey has many ups and downs but everything works out in the end. I love happy endings. I will definitely look for more from this author.

Who would have thought that I would really like a story about a spider shifter, definitely not me. The story had everything that I love, drama, romance and the supernatural. This novel was really enjoyable. Being able to go on Amy’s journey to finding out more about herself and finding her father was fun. The concept of the book was a little different than what I normally read but that made it more interesting. The world that the author created was vibrant and I found myself wishing I could spend time in it. I recommend this book to anyone who has an interest in reading a paranormal book that is a little different.
