This is one of the best supernatural romances I have read! The story line is not one that has been over played again and again. And the characters are easy to fall in love with. You want to get to know each of them and as you read through the book you can. I am excited too read the next book and learn more about those characters we have been introduced to in this book as well. I feel Danielle is a force to be reckoned with and vulture is sexy as all get out! Loved this book!!!

Code Name: Vulture (The Order of the Condor Series Book 1) by Maya Daniels and Sylvia Black. I loved this book and I can’t wait for the 2nd one. This is the story of Danielle who works for a history museum and has gone to an auction to buy a specific statue for the museum. When she is outbid by some mysterious man she is livid. Little does she know but the mysterious man is really out to get her. Danielle can’t believe this guy outbid her because there were only 4 people aware of this specific piece. The mysterious man is non other than Vulture a brother in the Code of Condor and a full blood Vampire. When Vulture lays eyes on Danielle he has to have her and soon he kidnaps her and puts her in a cage. The Contract was only for the statue but he couldn’t help himself. He doesn’t realize how strong Danielle is and wonders if he will ever be able to really have her. Vulture is a dark character but I was actually rooting for him in the end. Will Danielle ever give in to Vulture and fall for him the way he’s fallen for her? Read Code Name to find out!

A really good start to what seems like a good series is coming! Vulture was a character for like a lot of this book plain crazy but lets be honest that’s how we like them. Danielle cried an awful lot but once that was over it wasn’t too bad. I can’t wait to see where this series is going.

Paranormal romance are some of my favorite books and this one did not disappoint. Danielle works for a history museum and goes to an auction to buy a very important relic. A stranger comes in and outbids her, but how could that be? Only four people even knew that it was going on auction at the last minute. Vulture wins the auction, then kidnaps the female. He had a contract, but this wasn’t like his normal contracts. He put her in a cage in a room that when seen, would break the strongest of wills. Danielle doesn’t break. Not only does Danielle have a link to the relic, but she also seems to have a link to him. Can Vulture save the relic and Danielle? Can they save the purebreds vampires from danger? This was a great read and look forward to Book 2.

Code Name: Vulture was amazing! It had a simple but captivating writing style, romance, 😉 spicy romance, fighting… It was just absolutely wonderful!
Following Vulture and Danielle, you see a few different ups and downs. In the start you can tell that they just want to do their jobs and be done with it, especially Vulture. He knew he couldn’t ever hurt her, but boy did he try to force himself to. The beginning of a great series! I absolutely cannot wait for book two!!! @karenmmarsh

Code Name: Vulture (The Order of the Condor Series Book 1) by Maya Daniels and Sylvia Black was a very interesting dark vampire romance, with so many elements it made my head spin. The dark romance had a lot going including suspense, action, drama, chemistry, magic, mystery, and of course a bunch of supernatural characters and vibes. There were several times that I had to hold my breath because I couldn’t predict what would happen next. Out of all of the books I have read lately this one was one of the more fast-paced and I definitely enjoyed all of the characters and the attention to details in the plot and the story as a whole.

This is a very good story and it really starts what looks like a really good series with a bang. The story of Danielle and Vulture is not your everyday love story. Maya Daniels and Sylvia Black have created a vibrant world and an interesting intense story. The story had it all love, intrigue, danger, and vampires. What more could anyone want. I look forward to reading more of this series by Maya Daniels and Sylvia Black.

Danielle is a curator for the Brandian Arts Museum, a job which she loves, but she also misses being out on the ground where she can dig in the dirt and put the pieces of a puzzle together, but on this night, she is at an auction and about to bid for a relic which she knows more about than she should, thanks to an old friend who has just passed away. As she is preparing to bid on this relic, she is in her element and cannot wait to finally have this in her possession, despite the fact that the auction was a last minute affair and the listing were not posted beforehand like they usually are, however, soon she is outbid by a man with a gravelly voice whom she has never seen before and who disappears immediately after he has won the prize. A couple of weeks later on and she is at her office at the museum where her best friend is telling her to snap out of the mood she has been in since this stranger waltzed into her life and took something she wanted right out from under her feet, so that when they go for a meal and a few drinks later on, she enjoys herself until she falls asleep in the taxi home.
Vulture is a brother in the Order of the Condor and a Pureblood Vampyr, he is a ghost with only a code name to identify him by and he is the most dangerous predator out there by miles, so when he is given a contract to retrieve a relic and a museum curator, he thinks no more of it until they collide at the auction. Vulture is dangerously captivated by her angelic looks and fierce personality, but the information he has to retrieve from her is not as forthcoming as he had hoped. Meanwhile, Danielle is coming to terms with the huge adjustment she will need to make to being in a cage and having to spill her darkest secrets to the man who she can’t deny she is attracted to, but as her containment continues, she realises that she will not be able to hide one of her secrets, but that she must hide the other in order to survive.
As Vulture tries to fulfil his contract and realises that something is amiss and when a last minute change of plans tests his patience to the limits, he realises just how much Danielle means to him and what he could lose if something happens to her, but will they be able to keep each other safe so they can explore the connection neither of them can deny, or will the worst come to the worst and their bond be broken? This is a dark paranormal romance with danger round every corner as fated mates struggle to stay by the others side as they solve a mystery eons old together, this fast paced and entertaining tale will keep you on your toes right up until the end.

***No Spoilers*** This book has it all: Romance, Suspense, Intrigue, and Steam. I was not able to put this book down. The main characters in this book come with heavy secrets that they are trying to protect. How far will they go to protect those secrets when their own very lives are at stake? This question is what kept me from being able to put the book down. I kept turning page after page to see what would happen next. Knowing that this is the first book in the series, I am only assuming that the characters that we are introduce too will be making future appearances throughout the series. The air of mystery pulls you in during the first couple chapters. It has you second guessing who is good and who is bad. The suspense has you on the edge of your seat. You will want nothing more than to continue reading just so you can see what happens. The way the characters of Vulture and Danielle were written, you can feel their struggles. Vulture leaves you with a dark good guy vibe. You know what I mean, he is bad because of who he is but the way he acts and how protective he is makes him seem like a good guy. Danielle is an amazing female lead. She is strong, courageous, smart, and obviously beautiful. She is always stepping up to the plate and throwing herself into every situation without any doubts. You will see the strength of the characters grow throughout the book. Their journey is full of twists and turns. When you finish this book you will be left with a book hangover and the need for the second book in the series,
