The Confectioner’s Truth (Confectioner Chronicles Book 3) by Claire Luana – Review by Maura Harper

The Confectioner's Truth (Confectioner Chronicles Book 3)The Confectioner’s Truth by Claire Luana
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

THE CONFECTIONER’S TRUTH is the third and final book in the “Confectioner Chronicles” series. As this book picks up where the last left off, it is very important to read this series in order.

The entire series was a well written fantasy that had many twists and turns and battles (internal and external). It has a lot of characters to keep track of, but each is pretty well defined in their role. This is one of those series that has it all… Mystery/suspense, fantasy, magic, adventure and action. The world building in the series continues until the very end. New characters are introduced in this story that bring a totally new feel and we get to see the “conclusion” to ongoing relationships.

I definitely have liked and disliked the same characters more than once and have rolled my eyes several times, but I think that is what makes a story interesting. It pulled emotion instead of apathy.

This is a series I would recommend to anyone who enjoys a good fantasy series. It was cool to watch the characters grow along with the story lines.

This is the third book in the Confectioners Chronicles Series and they just keep getting better and better. With mystery, suspense and a little romance this book is sure to rock your socks off. This series should be read in order to get the best reading experience possible. So much deception in this book and so many twists and turns I was on the edge of my seat the whole book. I loved the characters and couldn’t help but feel a tug at my heart when things went downhill for them. The author writing style is like a cherry on top of an awesome Sundae and I couldn’t get enough. I really enjoyed this series and I am looking forward to reading more by this author!!
Go get this book now!! Happy reading!

Eventually, adulthood won out, and she turned her writing talents tomore scholarly pursuits, going to work as a commercial litigation attorney. While continuing to practice law, Claire decided to return to her roots and try her hand once again at creative writing. She has written and published theMoonburner Cycle, the Confectioner Chronicles, the Knights of Caerleon trilogy with Jesikah Sundin, and is currently working on several new fantasy series. She lives in Seattle, Washington with her husband and two dogs. The Confectioner’s Coup (Confectioner Chronicles Book 2) by Claire Luana – Review by Bobbi Wagner

The Confectioner's Coup (Confectioner Chronicles, #2)The Confectioner’s Coup by Claire Luana
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I love this series! The plot is easy flowing and engaging. It pulls me in right from the beginning, sitting on the edge of your seat suspense. I highly recommend reading the previous books in this series to get the full enjoyment of the characters. In this story Wren suspects that the King is behind the disappearance of Guild members. Will she find them or will limits be pushed to far? I love Wren’s character, she is strong, fun and just a great character. Her story is a must read!
