Clearly, this book is “meant” for elementary and middle school aged kids. I however, a full grown woman, thoroughly enjoyed this book. The magic and adventure included in this story is captivating. There are also relateable life experiences too that kids may relate to. My 6yo is at a 4th/5th grade level and I believe we will be adding this to his homeschool reading list! I think he will enjoy it. I hope there are more.

What an adorable and informative story. This is a great story about a stray cat who shows up on Oscar and Emmy’s door step. The kids feed the cat and soon, more show up. As the story contiues on, their mom tells them about TNR. At the end of thte book, there is a very informative, detailed page all about TNR. I read this with my 6yo son and he enjoyed the story and learning about strays.

What a great story with great life lessons. I read this with my 6 year old son and we both enjoyed the story. He really seemed to learn about how to tame worries. He learned that sometimes being nervous and excited can feel like the same thing. The illustrations were also great!

I read this with my 6 year old son. We both enjoyed the story. A cute story about a little girl who feels she is from another planet. She doesn’t like some of the earthly things on this planet so builds a radio to try to talk to other aliens. My son really loved the pictures too.

I thoroughly enjoyed the trilogy so when I saw there was a novella, I became super excited. This can be read as a stand alone book. However, I do suggest reading the trilogy first. This author is an absolutely fantastic writer. The characters, the story, the setting, all very detailed and captivating. Another fantastic read. I hope to read more from this author.

This was a great, quick easy read. It is a dark paranormal with grief being at the forefront. I almost thought this was a predictable story at one point, but a few twists were thrown in. The second in the series. Another great fantasy story. Again, nonstop action and intense moments. You can’t help but to feel horrible for all Ian has gone through. The third book in an epic fantasy series. Just like the first two, I didn’t want to put this book down. The world, the characters, the action, everything was very well written. Rarely does a sequel live up to the first book, but both the second and the third not only did that, but surpassed it. The only complaint I had was that it ended.

This book grabbed my attention from the very first line! Not only that, it KEPT my attention! Edge of my seat, intense action the whole way through. These three books are very easy to read. They are fast paced and if you don’t have a lot of time to read, these would be perfect for that. You don’t feel like you have to continue reading. That doesn’t mean they aren’t good books though! I enjoyed them.
The books are pretty steamy. The storyline almost takes a back seat to the steam. The story doesn’t get completely lost though. I liked how the three books connected together. The third story was my favorite.
I do wish there were more to the stories and characters though. A little background maybe.

This book was a fun read. It had characters and circumstances that were relatable. This is the 4th book in the series, but I was able to read it without reading the others and I didn’t feel like I missed anything. I really enjoyed this story and now want to read the others! I love that there was some humor thrown in. A moody guy having to deal with something that breaks his grumpiness is fun and entertaining.
