Eternal Wanderings was an interesting read. The characters were growing while they continued their journey. Kara was looking for her place among her people. But even that seemed like a long shot. Everywhere she went trouble seemed to follow. You could feel the animosity coming from the Romani. The fact that they didn’t except her made no sense to me. I have to say that it was a little too short for me. Though her journey is far from over. The author did a good job developing the characters. I also felt like there was many points that the author made you really think about how you would handle the situation. A very interesting series about finding who you’re and following your own path. Though Kara hasn’t found hers yet.

This fantasy book is about a young girl looking for her life path. Danielle Ackley-Mc Phail spins a good yarn with her book. The world she writes about is pretty. Her descriptive writing has made a picture in my mind that is so beautiful, The characters are fully developed. I felt like I was in Kara’s world and her journey to find herself. Her journey has light and dark magic and fantasy all around her. I highly recommend this story watching Kara looking for herself and being ok with what she finds.

This book is a epic fantasy and the fourth book in the series by Danielle Ackley-McPhail . The characters are all very well written and very engaging. This is a short novella and a quick read i would of prefer a longer read.

I love how this story wasn’t your usual fantasy read or what you’d expect in any sense. I love how Kara sought out to pave a place for self and found a sense of worth within herself. Her courage is further exemplified with her fierce desire to combat her dangerous enemies but protect those around her as well. What I enjoyed about Kara was she was very likeable and relatable as a heroine. This story was intriguing, page-turning and powerful to read!

Eternal Wanderings: The Continuing Journey of Kara O’Keefe by Danielle Ackley-McPhail is a very short and original fantasy story with a few odds and sods added to the end of the book. Danielle always paints a vivid tale that makes it easy to journey along with the characters. The story doesn’t flow as well as I would have liked but that said I still found the storyline interesting and full of mystery, action and magic.

Eternal Wanderings: The Continuing Journey of Kara O’Keefe by Danielle Ackley-McPhail is a good fantasy story about a girl trying to find her place. This was an interesting story to read. It was easy to connect with from the start and was well developed all the way through. Kara was a good character as the focus of the story – she was easy to engage with and kept the story going. At time’s I did find the book to be a little confusing however this soon passed and I was able to pick back up the story. Overall this is an enjoyable read and for anyone interested in this genre it is worth a go.

Some had fire pits, others had portable grills. At some of the hearths, awnings had been raised for shelter from the elements, at others, battery-powered faerie lights had been strung from poles but the space left open to the sky.”

Eternal Wanderings: The Continuing Journey of Kara O’Keefe is the fourth book in The Eternal Cycle series by Danielle Ackley-McPhail. It is an intriguing and original fantasy- woven with such vivid detail that the story and characters came to life before my eyes. This is something Ms. Ackley-McPhail does incredibly well. But, having said that, I would like to have read a longer version of the story and gotten even more detail. There are times the story lags a little, and other times where it seemed a little disjointed and confusing. But I have come into the series on book four, so I am intrigued to go back to read the other books and see if that helps me appreciate this book better. It is a very quick read- with a several ‘bonus’ stories to be found at the conclusion of Eternal Wanderings. I love that Ms. Ackley McPhail has such a wonderfully creative imagination, as her stories are nothing if not unique and original. So, I look forward to seeing what she does next.

I enjoyed this fantasy book about a young girl who is looking to find her own way in life. I was pulled into this book from the first page. The characters made the story feel real and really brought it to life. It is full of fantasy, immortals and so much more. I had no issues connecting to the characters as they took me on their journey. Kara made a great character. She made the story engaging and easy to read. I enjoyed watching her grow as she faces a truth of not belonging and looking for the acceptance she desires. What and where will destiny take her on her journey? This is a shorter story but it is paced full magic and action. I highly recommend this book.

I loved reading the book Eternal Wanderings: The Continuing Journey of Kara O’Keefe by Danielle Ackley-McPhail. It is a dark fantasy book that pulled me in from the beginning and I was hooked. I grew to care about the character of Kara O’Keefe. She is a young woman who has joined the Romani caravan. She tries to be accepted by the clan. She also is honoring a vow that she made. I found Kara to be a strong, independent, and caring young woman. What will happen when an ancient enemy brings danger to those in the clan? Read this book to find out. The author has done a wonderful job of world-building and it is very helpful that there is a glossary of terms in the book to help better explain some terms. Both the story and the characters come alive on the pages. There are some suspenseful moments as well as emotional ones. Some bonus stories are included. I enjoyed reading them and found them to be both exciting and entertaining. Don’t miss out on a wonderful story that you won’t want to put down until the final page.

This book is a good guide for the first-time authors who decide to go to a self-publishing route. This was something I wanted to know and hence I picked this book. I will use it as a reference book in the future. It has a lot of details right from selecting the right image of the cover to what goes in the blurb to how to acquire the ISBN for the book. As I have never published a book before, there were some terminologies which are confusing but I am pretty sure that when I get to the process, this book will be of great help. Build-A-Book Workshop (The Literary Handyman Book 2) is a book full of great information for someone planning to self publish a book. The sections are well laid out, with terms discussed in the section are clearly defined at the beginning of each section. Although I’m not planning on writing a book in the near future, I really appreciate the way this book is organized. I will be grabbing this book if and when I decide to write a book. I would definitely recommended this book.

The author gives some great tips and information that anyone could use. Steps are easy to follow. The author does a wonderful job of keeping readers interested in the details and information given in this books. It’s well written and thought out. I was very glad I’d found this book so I could see a bit behind the scenes of book writing and publishing. Great informative book four stars and highly recommended.

Build-A-Book Workshop is the second book in The Literary Handyman series by Danielle Ackley McPhail. This informative “how to” is filled with some really great information. It is easy to follow and chapters are well defined. If you are an author just staring out, this book will give you a bunch of different ideas to make your book stand out and hopefully make money. This is not my typical book choice to read. I found this book an interesting guide on how to book. I have to admit I know a lot about copyright, but never know the other end of the book world. This shows the way to put together a book that one day you could possibly publish your own book. If you have ever had a dream of publishing a book, I would recommend reading this book as a starting block on your way to publishing a book.

I’ve never read any books on how to start getting a book published before. Nor have I read anything by Danielle Ackley-McPhail. I’ve always toyed with the idea of writing a book but never knew where to start or how to formulate any of the ideas in my head. The fact she has checklists and reminders of things not to do is amazing. This definitely makes me want to get back to trying to write a book! Build-A-Book Workshop was incredibly informative about pieces of the designing process for books.

Aimed at authors planning on self publishing, those about to venture into the independent publishing market and those already running small presses who want to improve this book is a “guide to understanding the basic elements of professional book layout”. ‘Build-A-Book Workshop’ is book two in Danielle Ackley-McPhail’s ‘Literary Handyman’ series and is obviously written by someone who has years of experience in book design and layout. Ackley-McPhail has very cleverly made what is a very complicated process into an easy to read and understand book. The short book is packed full of helpful ideas and insider tips with each chapter concentrating on a particular aspect of the process. The layout of this particular book, as you would expect, is very clear and easy to understand. The glossary of terms at the end of the book is particularly useful as is the appendix pointing out the mistakes the author herself has made in the past and how to overcome them. Although a great handbook on its own I think it would work well with the first book in the series as well. I found this to be an extremely interesting and useful book and I can see myself referring back to it and having a re-read of particular chapters as required.

The directions are simple and in layman’s terms. I am in no way going to publish a book but I love books and want to know all there is to know about them and this book explained the process very simply. This book will help you build a beautiful book that is a publisher’s dream. It has easy to follow instructions and I really think just about anyone could publish a book going by this book. This book also shows you the order you need to layout a book so that it makes sense. Very informative read if you are looking to publish a book anytime soon!

As someone who has always had a secret desire to self-publish, I found this book to be extremely interesting and insightful. Ackley-McPhail does a nice job explaining things in an informative way without being overly droll and boring. If you are looking to self-publish one day, I believe you’ll find the information provided to be useful and helpful. A good book exploring the workings of a piece of literature and how to put your best foot forward.

This is a great do-it-yourself book if you are looking into publishing your work. It walks you through by asking questions and expanding upon them to ensure you understand. 5 stars! Build-A-Book Workshop by Danielle Ackley-McPhail is an interesting read. This book is a nice guide to show the steps needed to take to make sure your book has a nice finished look and that the content and layout comes across as well made and thought out. There is a lot of book terminology thrown at you and honestly, I liked to understand what some of the words or abbreviations I have seen, what they really mean and stand for, even if I am not interested in creating or publishing my own book. The layout of the book goes from the cover, with choosing a nice eye catching image to the back of the book where an author’s biography might go. It was easy to read and follow and the tips that the author gives, using her own personal experiences was great, especially when she lays out a list of questions, Did you remember this? Did you forget that?. If I were to look into publishing my own book, it is a nice list to have to makes sure I didn’t forget anything or to make sure my book is ready to publish. The book is a quick read but packed with a lot of information to anyone starting out in their publishing journey.

This is a great book for anyone who is looking to start the self-publishing journey and needs that helping hand to get them started. The author has done a great job of laying out how to look at the formatting and design of the book so that it will attract attention. It is more relatable as a guide as the author is able to offer insight and suggestions based on her own experiences which makes it more relevant to those in the same position. I think it helps to show that those at the start of the process that is possible to get to where you want to be and will help to give them the extra motivation they might need. This book is definitely worth a read if you are about to self-publish your own work.

I am not a publisher nor will I be one in the future but I am a reader and curious about the process. I found the definition of terms super helpful at the beginning. There was a clear understanding of what was being discussed. I also loved the discuss of personal experiences.

Build-A-Book Workshop (The Literary Handyman 2) by Danielle Ackley-McPhail is a thorough, clear and concise easy step by step guide on how to be your own publisher. Danielle steps us through her own experiences and it is a good helping tool for anyone starting out on their own journey. It is well written but the only downside with this book is that it is only helpful for a physical book, it does not mention how to go about getting eBook’s out there.

This is a very thorough how-to on publishing your work as an author. The author is very relatable as she outlines her own experience to pull you in to instruct you. I loved how she defined her terms to assist you in better overstanding. The advice was easy to understand and it’s very helpful.

I learned quite a bit from this book about publishing a book. This is a nonfiction book that takes you through the steps of publishing a book although it doesn’t tell you what happens after this point which has built my curiosity. If you are looking to publish a book this would be very helpful to you and has lots of information that is useful. The steps are easy to follow and written in a way that is understandable. I would share this book and highly recommend it.

When reading this book Build-A-Book Workshop (The Literary Handyman 2) by Danielle Ackley-McPhall it helps start you down a path to publishing your work. It is the goal of every author to have your book say, “Look at me! Buy me!” This author provides advice from her experience that will help you start your journey. I liked how it included checklists and some of the pitfalls that you want to avoid. The suggestions provided made sense and that it includes a detailed glossary of terms. I found when reading the book, it was like a friend was talking to me and giving me advice. Every book has a beginning and the author does a wonderful job of helping in that process.
