LUKE (DEFAULT DISTRACTION #4) by A. S. Roberts

• Luke is the fourth book in Default Distraction by A.S. Roberts and Holy Cow just when I didn’t think this series could get any better then Boom Luke’s story. I wish I could give this way more than five stars because this author definitely deserves it. I’m a huge fan of Rock Star Romances and this one definitely takes the cake. The characters are well developed and easy to fall in love with. I love them all and the way they all stand up for each other made my heart happy. This is Luke and Nikki’s story. She comes from a tight nit family and would do anything for them. She’s a Nanny who finds herself in need of a new job and finds herself in a interview with Luke who she’s had a major crush on since she was a teenager. She of course takes the job and finds that even though she is not a teenager she’s definitely attracted to him probably more than ever. Luke pretty much came from nothing and climbed his way up to the top. He really had issues with acceptance and letting go. He has it all ,a band with some pretty amazing men a beautiful daughter who is his everything and then in walks Nikki. Luke feels something with her he hasn’t in a long time but he feels a bit guilty in ways. Both of them are attracted to the other. Can these two have a relationship? Will she be enough to keep him and the job? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I can’t wait to see what this author brings us next.

Love’s Reverie (The Stardust Duet, Book 2) by KG Fletcher

Love’s Reverie is the second book in The Stardust Duet by KG Fletcher . This is a Historical Romance that I absolutely loved reading. I was transported back in time and was taken on quite the journey. This authors style of writing and her attention to detail simply amazes me. Her characters are well developed and easy to follow. I was hooked from the beginning and had a hard time putting it down. I highly recommend reading the first book if you haven’t already started so you can get a better idea of what is going on. This Duet is definitely going on my list of favorites . I will definitely be re-reading in the future. This is the conclusion to Kat and Phillips story so get ready to be taken on quite the journey. How many more sacrifices will have to be made for them to get the life together they so deserve? I highly recommend reading this to find out what happens n.ext I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

Surprise Baby for Mr. Fischer is the second book in the Curvy Ever After Series by Stephanie Harrell. This is a fast paced story that once you start reading there’s no stopping until you finish. I was so invested in this story everything around me pretty much faded away. I found myself lost in the pages of the wonderfully written story. The characters are relatable and fully developed. I absolutely loved the characters Harper and Lincoln. These two are off the charts. She’s chasing her dreams even after a night with Lincoln and the surprise she got she’s determined to make her dream come true. Lincoln has finished a movie and came home and sees her and. He wasn’t expecting what happened next. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens. I’m definitely looking forward to reading more from this Author.

Wow Just Wow! This author never ceases to amaze me with her attention to detail and her characters are relatable and fully developed. I’ve been a huge fan since her first book and each new” Chapter”(MC Chapter)is just as good as the previous. I’ve been waiting quite some time for Red’s story and holy cow what a ride so far. My emotions were all over the place with this one. As with any of her books once you start reading you won’t want to put it down. If you haven’t already started her Satan’s Devil’s MC run now you won’t be disappointed but rather addicted like the rest of us. Red wants to fit in and feel wanted. He takes on a journey to him climbing the ladder to the top but once he gets there something is still missing. Will that be enough? Will he get the family he so desperately wants? I highly recommend reading this book. I can’t wait for the second book to see how things really end.

Come Back Tomorrow is the first book in the Embrace Tomorrow Duet by Amy Argent. Oh my word this absolutely wrecked me. My heart shredded with this story and at times I was reading through tears. Fair warning have some kleenex close by you will definitely need them. Will and Tori’s story will take you on one heck of an emotional rollercoaster ride with some anger, and a little denial thrown in. She’s a Clinical Psychologist and helps terminally ill patients through the last stages of their lives. She found herself getting attached even when she tried to convince herself otherwise. Will is a young terminally ill patient who just wants to die. He’s given up hope. From the first moment he met her he thought she was an angel. She puts her heart on the line and every her feelings grow more and more. Although this is a sad story there really are some very sweet moments. Will tries to push her away like he pretty did with his family and friends but she’s not that easy to get rid of. Let me just say this I’ve been in health care for a long time and have had situations like this one (not feelings romantically for patient) where there is no family and as much as they fight they really are happy you’re there. No one should be alone.I highly recommend reading this book with some kleenex close by and I can’t wait to see how this ends. Although this is the authors debut I’m a fan already and look forward to reading more from her.

Rock Me To The Top (Gracefall: Vicious Love Tour) by Victoria Zak is a wonderfully written friends to lovers romance that I absolutely loved reading. I’m a huge fan of Rock Star Romance stories and this one fit the bill perfectly. I literally devoured this book in one sitting . This is a fairly new author to me but I’m definitely a fan already. This is Mel’s and Joe’s story, She’s the daughter of a legendary rocker drummer . She is a cellist and her dream is to play for the LA orchestra. She’s also sworn herself from dating rock stars. Joe is the drummer for Gracefall and they are off on a four month long tour. Joe and Mel are best friends and both are in love the other. Can she trust him to not destroy her heart? What will happen when Joe’s secret come out? I highly recommend reading this to find out what happens next. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.

Ashes of Aldyr is the first book in The Obscured Throne Trilogy by Russell Archey . Holy Cow what an epic dark Fantasy. I’ll admit what I just read was no where near what I expected to find when I started reading. It’s a grab you from the beginning and doesn’t let go till the end. It’s a fast paced story that takes you on quite the adventure and the characters are well developed and easy to keep up with. I could quite easily imagine how things looked and a couple times I literally got chills. This is a new to me author but he just got himself a new fan. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens. I can’t wait for the next book in this Trilogy.

Stranded( Cetacea Chronicles Book 1 ) by Feather Chelle is a wonderfully written Children’s book that once I started reading I couldn’t stop till I finished. I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect going in as this is a new Author but she didn’t disappoint that’s for sure. Although this is a children’s book adults can enjoy reading as well. I truly enjoyed reading this educational book packed with incredible information on marine life. I might have even learned a thing or two. I’m a huge Dolphin fan and I highly recommend reading this book and I look forward to reading more from this Author. My neices and nephews are very excited about reading this book too.

Nite Fire : Smoke & Mirrors (Book 3) Audio Book by C.L. Schneider is a paranormal fantasy that once you start listening to it you won’t want to stop. The narrator does an amazing job bringing the story and characters to life. I loved how she’d change her tone for the characters and I find listening to her so soothing. This is a story that is packed with shape shifters who are hidden to lots of action. If you haven’t already started this series I highly recommend reading/listening to this whole series each one is just as good as this one. There’s plenty of twists and turns that had me on the edge of my seat. Get ready to be taken on quite the journey with Dahlia and Detective Alex. There’s a lot going and plenty of secrets that need to stay hidden. What will happen if they are exposed? I highly recommend listening to this to find out what happens next and Can Dahlia keep secrets hidden I can’t wait for more.

I’m a huge fan of Historical Mysteries and this one didn’t disappoint that’s for sure. This author has a way of making you feel as if you are right there with the characters. Jack, Frances and Uncle Sal are supposed to be attending a party where they are the guests of honor but when their help is needed in finding some government documents that have come up missing these three jump into action and even disguise themselves to blend in. What will happen when trying to find the missing document it turns into a murder mystery? I highly recommend reading this to find out what happens next. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

Shadows of Doubt is the second book in the A Crawford Mystery Series by Merissa Racine. Holy Cow what an intense ride . This is a mystery that is an intense yet packed with action and mystery . Once you start reading its really hard to put down. This is a fairly new author to me but I’m a fan already. I do highly recommend reading the first book if you haven’t already its just as addicting as this one. Lauren is a court reporter she’s desperate for money so she jumps at the chance at any jobs that come her way even if it means doing a job where her ex is the new judge. When a elderly woman is found murdered and one of jer workers is being accused of the crime. Lauren knows something isn’t right about all of this . But is she willing to risk everything to try and prove he’s innocent? I don’t want to spoil anything about this on the edge of your seat mystery. I highly recommend reading this to find out what happens next. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

Tenacious is the sixth book in the Billionaire Bodyguards Series by Via Mari. I highly recommend reading the first five books if you haven’t already started this series. Although each book can be read as standalones. Each book is about a different couple but many of the characters carry over from each book. With every book I say its my favorite yet but this one takes the cake. This author hands down is one of my favorites. Her style of writing and attention to detail keep you glued till you finish. I dove in and knew I was coming up until I finished. This is a romance suspense with plenty of action, mystery, suspense and the twists and turns had me gripping the edge of my seat. I found myself holding my breath near the end of the book. This is Nick and Allie’s story. She’s a ER nurse who has trust issues when it comes to relationships He’s a Hot as Sin bodyguard that will make you drool. He’s determined to get the girl even though he doesn’t do relationships either until he sets his on Allie. Im not giving anything away. Find out what happens next in this absolute must read. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

Silent Gavel is the first book in the A Crawford Mystery Series by Merissa Racine. Whew! I was totally expecting the same ole same ole who dunnit mystery and that is not what I got at all. I truly enjoyed reading this fast paced mystery suspense that kept me turning the pages while on the edge of my seat. I had to know what was going to happen next. This is a fairly new author to me but I’m a fan already . This is a story about Lauren she moved and left her old life behind and found a job at the courthouse as a Stenographer. All was good until the judge is found murdered and Lauren is the number one suspect. She decides to try and solve the mystery of who did it but things get complicated. This is where I glued and couldn’t put it down. Can she figure it all out? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. You won’t be disappointed. I look forward to reading more from this Author.

I highly recommend reading the first four books in this series if you haven’t already they are just as good as this one. This is Edward and Mia’s story . He’s what one might call a loner with a side of arrogance. Mia is a free spirit and does what she wants. The chemistry is understandable between these two. Edward has the ability to sense what others need so he tries helping her with her shop but comes off not the wY he intends . Can he help her out? Born to Fight is the first book in the Can’t Resist You Series by Brittany Anne. First off I absolutely love the cover and second I was expecting something completely different than what I got. I was pulled in from the beginning and found myself on the edge of my seat throughout this whole book. It’s a bit intense in some parts but very well written. This is a story about Hunter and Rain. Hunter is the Leader of Resistance and he wants to take down the UNR. Rain has been on her own the last couple of years and living in a bunker in the woods trying to stay hidden in hopes they don’t find her. Hunter was left for dead until she saved his life and now finds herself thrown into Resistance by the man who started it all. What will happen when he discovers the truth? Will Hunter choose his heart or his purpose? I highly recommend reading this to find out what happens next. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

Noémie’s Journey AUDIO BOOK by Victoria Saccenti

 

Noémie’s Journey AUDIO BOOK by Victoria Saccenti is a Contemporary Romance that I absolutely loved listening to  I found myself so caught up in the story  I didn’t want to do anything else but listen to the narrator.  I enjoyed listening I find it very calming especially with how crazy stuff is nowadays. Anyways this is my first audio book by this author and I’m definitely a fan. This is Richard and Noémie’s story you can say opposites attract only because  one’s running from the past while the other is trying to make a future. God I love these to characters and their chemistry between them is crazy. Can these two have the relationship they want /need or will it end in heartbreak? I highly recommend listening/reading this  to find out what happens next.  I look forward to listening to more from this Author and  the narrator.

I truly enjoyed reading this Historical Young adult story that once I started reading there no putting it down. This is the second book in the Decisions and Possibilities series by Kimberly Mullins. I’m a huge fan of all historical genres and this definitely was worth the read. Emma recently graduated from business school and is ready to focus on doing some investigating. Things get interesting and I found myself on the edge of my seat trying to figure it all out. What will happen when there’s a new person added to the team? Sometimes things and people aren’t always as they seem. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

Forever: A Diamond Doms Novel is actually book nine in this series by Ivy Nelson. Going in I honestly had no idea so with that being said I will definitely going back to the beginning to see what has happened. I’m a fan of Dark Romance mixed with Erotica this one definitely fit the bill. There are plenty of hot and steamy BDSM scenes that will leave you needing to cool down. Russell has one job and that is to keep Holly and her friend Gemma safe . Holy Cow these two together is pretty intense. Can he keep Gemma safe? Will he break the rules? I fell in love with both Gemma and Russell’s characters and will be going as quickly as I can to grab this whole series from the beginning. I must know where and how everything started. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I look forward to reading more from this Author.

Going in I thought it was going to be much different than what we actually got. Let me just say I love the cover. This is a fast paced story packed with lots of goodness. There was no disturbing me while I devoured this book. I’m a huge fan of the Classics but this author blew me away with this book and I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book. O highly recommend reading this you wont be disappointed.

Love’s Refrain is the fist book the The Stardust Duet by KG Fletcher. This is a Marvelously written time travel romance that will take you on quite the adventure . From the moment I started reading I was pulled in I knew there was going to be no stopping until I finished. Im huge fan of this author and this one just went to the top of my favorites list. I can’t wait for the second book I need it now. This author continues to amaze me her attention to detail and her ability to create such master pieces blows me away. I literally felt like I was right there with the characters and going along with them. Be prepared to be on the edge of your seat as you travel right along with these characters on quite the epic time travel adventure. Kat is a Jazz singer who returns back to her home town for her last performance of the tour. Things go differently than she expected especially after being gifted a mysterious locket and she then finds herself be transported back in time to 1947. I highly recommend reading this wonderful book to find out what happens next . Can’t wait for the next book.

I loved being pulled in from the beginning of this short read that I finished in one sitting. I had to know what was going to happen next. This story finds Donovan and Shirley on the run after they break the agreement with the Coalition. They didn’t mean to but she accidentally got pregnant and now they are being sought. Something Lost (Funerals and Weddings Series Book 1) by Bernadette Marie

Something Lost is the first book in the Funerals and Weddings Series by Bernadette Marie. This is a Contemporary Romance about second chances. I absolutely loved this book and being pulled in from the beginning I was lost in the pages and had to know what was going to happen next. I’ve read several books by this author and I’m a huge fan and this looks kike this series will go on my re-read list as well. There were parts of this story my heart ached and my emotions were all over the place but it could have had something to do with my life at that moment. This is Rachel and Craig’s story. These two were a thing in high school he was the star football player and she was the coach’s daughter. Things happened and it tore them apart but they are brought back together years later after her dads funeral. Can these two get a second chance? But will past secrets tear them apart again? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I can’t wait for the next book in this series.

Dating the It Guy by Krysten Lindsay Hager is a Young Adult Romance that had my emotions going all over the place. At times I was reading through tearing eyes to being angry at situations. I’ve read several books by this author and is definitely going on my favorites list. This is a story about Emme and Brendon. Emme is a girl who was cheated on by her ex and now is very insecure. Her insecurities get the best of her. Can she get over them in order to have a relationship? Brendon is the son of a famous political person and is in with all the popular kids. He is the guy everyone wants to be he’s the it guy. His ex-girlfriend is trying really hard to get him back. Can Brendon and Emme relationship last? Find out what happens next in this must read. This author and her attention to detail and style pf writing makes you feel like you are right there with the characters. This is Sindy and Ryan’s story. Sindy finds herself back in Bunya Junction and she takes a job at a medical practice as a nurse. All is well until he shows up. Ryan comes back to Bunya to pay his respects and to learn he has been given half practice while the other belongs to Sindy. Ryan’s plan is to not stay but things change. A Natural Passion by Tammy Mannersly
A Natural Passion by Tammy Mannersly is a short sweet romance story that I read in one sitting. I’m a fan of this author and her attention to detail simply amazes me. This story is centered around the preservation of turtles and poachers. The things people will do for money simply amazes me. I love turtles and found this story to be very well written and rhe authors details made me feel like I was right there with them. Kya just started an internship at Merchant Marine Science Center where she finds herself kinda crushing hard on the boss’s son Jake . Jake is to me a jerk I didn’t really warm to his character as much as I did Dylan. He’s a marine biologist who takes great passion in his job so when yet another nest comes up missing he has to do something. Him and Kyra whom he is in love with set out to catch the poachers. Find out what happens next in this absolute must read. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

Deadly Words (Born Bad Book 1) by Meghan O’Flynn

Deadly Words is the first book in the Born Bad Series by Meghan O’Flynn and Holy Cow what an intense read. Whew . I was hooked from the first page and was on the edge of my seat throughout the story . I never hesitate to pick up anything by this author and I’m pretty sure this is going to the top of my favorites list. The twists and turns had me turning the pages till the end. This is one of those stories that will stay with you long after you’re finished. I’ve been trying to come up with the best words to describe it for hours and nothing comes close. This author does a phenomenal job at creating these stories that grab ahold of you and don’t let you go. I closed my eyes several times while reading and could picture very vividly what she was describing. This is a fantastic thriller about Poppy. Her had is in prison for the rest of his life. Poppy is now grown and living her best life as a Chiropractor that is until things start happening. A stranger shows up on her door step claiming he’s being stalked. Who is it? Someone is watching her but who can it be and what do they want? I highly recommend reading this to find out what happens next. I already can’t wait for the next book to come out.

THE BOW (HER THREE IMMORTALS Book 3) by HAZEL STORM

The Bow is the third book in the Her Three Immortals Series by Hazel Storm. Wow just wow! Just when I thought this series couldn’t get any better then this book steals the show. This is my favorite yet so much packed into one book that once I started I had a hard time putting it down. I had to know what was going to happen next. I do highly recommend reading the first two books if you haven’t already started as they are just as good as this one plus you get a better understanding of what is going on. This one picks up where book two left off. Get ready to be taken on quite a ride as Vanessa is assigned a task by the Queen of the Underworld and her soul is at stake if she fails. I highly recommend reading this to find out what happens next. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book.

Slow Burn by A.K MacBride is a Romance/ Enemies to Lovers book about love, loss, and second chances. Wow just Wow I wasn’t expecting to have my heart ripped to shreds and definitely was not ready for all the emotions I experienced while reading this wonderfully written story. This is about Adam and Maddie. Adam is a grumpy yet sexy man who was in a tragic accident that caused him to close off himself from friends and his family. He moves to Clearwater Bay to get away from the looks of pity. Maddie loves to dance but her dreams of dancing are put on hold. She finds herself working for her parents at their hardware store. She is given an opportunity to to help out a local business but will she do it? These both have their issues but together can tbey work? I absolutely loved this book and had a hard time putting it down once I started reading. I highly recommend reading this to find out what happens next. Im definitely looking forward to reading more from this Author.
