This book was not what I was expecting. It was pretty vanilla to me, however the heat between Ashton an Zach was quite steamy! If you are new to spicy books or BDSM then this is the perfect beginner book for you.

Savage Start (Hidden Valley Elite #0.5)Savage Start by Isla Vaughn
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I love this series but this short prequel just didnt do it for me. It was nice to meet the new characters but seemed to jump around alot and not flow easily. I kept reading because it was short an I didnt understand the mothers story until finally at the end it came together. The kids stories were ok. The kids were familiar from the other books.

This is book 1 of the series and my first time reading anything from this author. I was not disappointed at all! Even though this book jumps between different cities here and there to piece together information, it is very easy to follow and keeps you wanting more. I didn’t want to put it down! I wanted to know if Cade would catch the Blonde Killer or would the killer get to him first???

This is book 2 of the series and I would recommend reading them in sequence. Once again I was not disappointed at all! Detective Cade is comparable to the Will Trent series an I think these books would make a great tv show. I like how the story continues from book one with just a new series of murders. I can’t wait for the next book.

This author has taken mental health thoughts and put it on paper. Not boring like psychologists but very well thoughtout and gracefully understanding in poetry. You may need a dictionary but take your time, get lost in every word an youll enjoy it. I love how each poem has its own colorful trend so you know when one ends and another one starts.
