I love Enemies to Lovers stories but even though you know the just of the story you don’t know all the complicated stuff in-between. I honestly loved how much they hated each other it was amusing. It took me a while to warm up to Callie she just seemed a tad stuck up but i gradually started to like her. Gianluca is hot, rich and a complete prick, but that’s why you will fall in love with him. Gets very steamy at times and i cant wait for the rest of the books. I loved the Authors writing style she really brought the story well together.

Eye of Death: A paranormal romance (Vampire State Book 3) by Alexander Charalambides. This author continues to impress me once again I found myself completely lost in the pages of another fantastic addition to a great series. The characters are complex and well developed, the attention to even the smallest details always get me with this series you can tell the author takes great pride in what’s being written. The storyline is a faster paced storyline but in no way is that a bad thing it just keeps you on your toes. It’s a well written story that keeps me engaged from start to finish and I love every minute of it. I’m excited to see where this author takes readers next. Four big stars and highly recommended.

I am huge fan of War books. Each and every book I read or every movie I watch about the poignant state of Jews in the Nazi Germany deeply moves me. This is a story of Jewish doctor Esther Rosenthal who escapes from Berlin. When her husband is detained before the danger which befell on Jews in Nazi Germany. She escapes with her father and in the course of their flight to England, she meets a group of Jewish children, who were being moved from a Berlin Orphanage to England on a Kindertransport. She adopts three of them and she and her father try to support them with the best they have. They travel to New York, but Esther is forced to return to Europe because of her own personal reasons. Together or separated, how these characters show solidarity and support to each other forms the crux of the story. Like and WW2 book, this book is also heart wrenching and deftly brings out the plight of the Jews and their extreme circumstances they were put through. I loved the author’s narration style and I am going to pick up the first two books of the author as well.

Christmas eve comes and Kinsley gets a big surprise.

I loved reading the book Yule Lads Legend: Iceland’s Jólasveinar by Heidi Herman. It is a story that is a delight to read by young and old. It is a book that is based on legend and will have you hooked from the very beginning. I wasn’t able to put it down until I had read the final page. The characters are intriguing and interesting. The basis of the book is intriguing as well as one that has to be read to understand and enjoyed. The author does an amazing job of making both the story and the characters come alive. Don’t miss out on an amazing story that is exciting and entertaining. I highly recommend reading it.

All I Want for Christmas: Military Romance Short Story by Vivian Fiano. If you’re looking for something short and sweet I highly recommend this short story. From page one I was drawn in and only sad I had to leave the characters when I did. Even with this being a short story I didn’t feel it was hindered in any way and I think this author did a wonderful job with this short story. And I just love a Christmas love story they just shot straight to my heart and this characters definitely pulled at my heartstrings from start to finish. I also have a soft spot for a military romance and I loved every minute spent in the pages of this short story. I’d definitely like to see what more this author has to give readers. Five stars for this story. Highly recommended.

This was my first book by Cori Cooper. Once I read the synopsis I was hooked. I love reading YA books. There’s just not the same “drama” as an adult book more often than not. If there is, it’s not the same and it’s a wonderful break from life. This book was so adorable. I love our main female character Cat Anderson. She’s your quintessential teenage girl. There are a lot of supporting cast members that make this book for me. Her cousin Robyn is the sweetest. I also read this book out loud with my son’s at bed time. Now we have to bake every recipe in the book! I recommend this book for a great, sweet, magical read.

I have loved all of Brooke May’s romances that I have picked up by her and was so excited to get my hands on this one. Aiko is the first in The Heartstrings Series and I will definitely be following this one as it unfolds closely. This is a light and easy read that will have you swooning and giggling at all the right moments. I loved how this made cupid seem realistic or believable. Aiko is cupid and she is not slated to be the best one lol. She has had the worst luck. Alejandro is her latest client to find love for but what will happen when Aiko’s heart starts making some objections to hooking him up with anyone but her?!?! This is a fun one you don’t want to miss. I can’t wait to see what book two will bring us.

This series just keeps getting better and better, a feat I though Charalambides had made difficult to do with the last book in this series. Eye of Death is the third book in the Vampire State series from Charalambides. I would recommend that you start with book one if you haven’t before diving into this one. This is not your typical vampire or vampire romance series and really reimagines the rules we have come to expect in this particular trope. I love the action and adventure as well as the world building Charalambides weaves into his novels. I feel as if I could be right there alongside my favorite characters as they experience these adventures. I can’t say much more about the story line that isn’t already mentioned in the synopsis without ruining too much so I won’t. I can promise you this is one you do not want to miss out on reading though and you will be hooked on Charalambides unique writing styles that I have also come to love. Can’t wait for the next thing from him!

Bake Believe by Cori Cooper. This story was great I actually read it with my niece and she loved it. She on numerous occasions wanted to read more and more. It’s a fun story that can help anyone get into the reading zone. The characters are well developed and brought the story to life in a great way. My niece and I are both looking forward to more from this author. I love that this book was something that brought my niece and I together in something we both love. It’s well written and paced nicely. I’d definitely give this story a high four star review. I recommend all the way.

Where have I been that I missed this sweet and engaging author?? I haven’t read anything by her but when it came across my timeline I saw the bright and sweet cover and knew I had to check it out and see what story laid beyond it. I was so pleasantly surprised with how much this novel swept me off my feet as I read. This book has all the holiday cheer you could want with a holiday book and plenty of other layers like cozy mystery, romance, and some paranormal tidbits as well. There is literally something for everyone in this perfect holiday read. I will personally be going back for more of Heartwood Hollow’s stories and more of Joanie I hope as well. These characters will make you feel as if you have a whole new family to visit from time to time. I want someday to experience a small town Christmas like the Hallmark movies tote because it seems so magical and unique. This book read like a Hallmark movie and has won a spot on my favorite list. I can’t wait to see what else Rosie Pease has available and whatever may come in the future from her!

I really enjoyed this book. It is full of fun and laughed and of course romance.
Aiko is a cupid but she’s an unlucky one. Everything she touches goes wrong. When she is banned for dealing with humans she goes to people watch as a way to spend her days. That is until she gets her next assignment.
As a cupid Aiko’s job is to help people meet and fall in love. Should be easy right? However her assignment is Alejandro. On the surface Alejandro is perfect. Hes good looking, works as a vet and is very romantic however he can’t seem to keep a woman.
Aiko’s job is to find him his Mrs right and help him settle down. But things aren’t that simple and when he fights her at every turn her task seems impossible.
Will she be able to find Alejandro his perfect match? Is she doomed to fail like all the other times she’s dealt with humans?

This is different from Stuart Ledwith other books I have read. Cemetery Tour has many true burdrdens of some harash reality. I feel for Mr. Gruder. Kelly Ann oh my god. You are walking through so many different lives in this book.. You feel a glimpse of their lives then its over and you are craving more.

What can I say about The Last Playlist: A Sonic Epitaph by P.A. Kane? There is so much boiling around in me right now. First and foremost, I loved it. I’m about five years older than Mr. Kane and I am a child of the sixties. So much of the music he uses flowed through my head. I was right back there, in that time, I could feel the sun on my face, smell the newly mown grass, and hear the children playing in the background. That’s the magic of music, it defines us in ways we cannot express, although Mr. Kane does an excellent job in this novel. I have to say, and you whoever you are can have your own opinion, Mr. Kane is a liberal and I am a conservative. What struck me most about this novel is how much alike we actually are. We recognize the same problems, we want solutions, we want justice for all, and we want freedom for all. But in this chaotic, super overcharged political climate we can’t listen to each other long enough to see how very similar we are. Our methods and theories on solving the problems are shaped by our life experiences. Mr. Kane doesn’t offer solutions in this book; he expresses what is in his heart and how his life experiences have shaped him. Oh, how I wish we could all just listen to each other and actually hear what is being said. Excellent job Mr. Kane, I wish I could give you more than five stars.

I enjoyed reading about the song and how they were put together the experience which were given you can tell are personal. This also wasn’t your normal rich guy who has everything sorted out and young office intern who’s life is a complete mess. This time there’s an extra twist…. hes also has some things to sort out…. Superb characters and the storyline flowed flawlessly. A+++

The Last Playlist: A Sonic Epitaph by P.A. Kane is a non-fictitious memoir of the author’s life played by music. He uses words and music to weave his story and the essence of his life. We all tend to see; smell hear something that reminds us of certain events in our lives and that is what PA has done with his story. It is an intriguing way to tell a story and he invites us to write our own stories in the same way. It is easy to see that his life is one of looking inward and reflection. Truly finding oneself is never easy but there is also so much more room for growth as we continue to reflect and age.

Urban Justice is the second book in the Chicago Vigilantes series by India Kells. This book can be read as a standalone, but I would highly recommend you read this series in order. You will enjoy it so much more with the backstory. I have to say India Kells is one of my go to authors, all of her books are filled with action and adventure. This book had me reading well past my bed time and I don’t regret being tired the next morning. This was definitely a roller coaster of a ride, I couldn’t put it down until I finished it. This is in my top five books I have read this year. Sloan’s and Luke have chemistry and are really interesting characters. If you like action and adventure with you romance, this is the book for you. Second Chance eX-mas by N.D. Jackson is a delightful contemporary romance. It is a slow burn second chance story that is set in a quaint little town. ND is good at setting the scene, where the characters are a little quirky, a little different and fun. ND did a great job making me feel what the characters were going through and imagining the town as she sees it. Glory stole the show though she was a pleasure to get to know.

Sweets and Santa: A Paranormal Cozy Mystery (The Matchmaking Baker Book 2) by Rosie Pease is a Christmas quick but fun read. Christmas in Heartwood Hollow is supposed to be peaceful and loving time with a little magic thrown in to make it special. It is full of matchmaking, magic and roaming Gnomes but when things go haywire and the finger is pointed but is it pointed at the right culprits? Just who is behind it and will they get back on track for a wonderful Christmas spirit? The story is a short read but is a real ‘whodunnit’ mystery, just what is needed to get in the festive mood.

I’m a huge fan of all sorts of music so I was very intrigued to read this book. I found myself lost in the pages and going along on this journey with the author. I lost all track of time and read in one afternoon. I truly enjoyed reading and I highly recommend reading it.

I thoroughly enjoy historical fiction and was eager to dive into these pages to see what would unfold. This WWII drama was fascinating. I really appreciated the way the author set up the story. It was an intriguing dive into past events and one I found myself eager to see how it would resolve. I look forward to reading more from this author – just a really good book.

Kells has always proven to be a solid author – I always enjoy her books. This one – wow. I’ve enjoyed the premise behind this series and this second book has taken it to another level. I’m all for men with big egos especially when they realize it gets them nowhere with women who know their worth. Gianluca is hot, talented and a complete douche. He knows what he wants and goes after it. The only issue is that he can’t help thinking that he’s better or knows better. Callie came across to me as a little stuck up. She judged before really knowing Gianluca. He did as well but they could’ve done better. The immediate dislike they had for each other was amazing. I’ve never read a story where the main characters just couldn’t stand each other so much. But it played out well. Beverage once the guards where dropped and conversations happened. It was almost magical and vey steamy. I really liked the authors writing style and the level it took for her to get them to their ending. They didn’t come off as too cliché. They had flaws that you could see passed into what really mattered.

Gianluca: A Standalone Enemies-to-Lovers Office Romance (Marini Family Romance Book 1) by Isabella Cassazza
I was introduced to Gianluca in Center of Gravity and thought he was an angry jerk who was determined to make everyone around him as angry and miserable as he was. That feeling didn’t go away while reading this book. But now I understand why he is the way he is not that I agree with it. He does eventually grow on me.
Callie grabbed me from the moment I was introduced to her. She has been through so much in her young life, more than young women her age should have to deal with. But she hasn’t let any of it beat her down. If anything I think it helped her become the strong woman she is.
This book went from some hot moments to me wanting to punch Gianluca almost immediately after. But that didn’t take anything away from my enjoyment.
I can’t wait to read the other Marini Siblings stories and learn more about each of them. Waiting patiently for the next book in this series.

This is the first 3 books in the Chase Security series by R L Dunn. I loved all 3 books. They all have a different story about members of the Chase Security team. They are full of romance and action.
Each book has different characters and their stories are all unique and different. The characters are so well written that you find yourself completely immersed in their stories. Through the 3 books the characters are build up so even though the main characters in the stories are different the leads from previous books appear and you are given more of an insight into them.
It’s a really enjoyable series. If you are looking for action packed, edge of your seat romance this is definately worth a read.

Eye of Death (Vampire State Book 3) by Alexander Charalambides was a wonderful conclusion to the series. I love the close examination of the media’s impact on the public. The plot was captivating and the attention to detail was spot on. I enjoyed Rowena’s character and her development is apparent. I loved the random twists and turns that kept the story moving.

This is the second book in the two-book series. I have enjoyed both books, but I think that I like the second book slightly more. India Kells has been my go-to author when I am looking for a juicy book to read. The action and adventures pulled me in from the beginning. I kept turning the pages and I had to read this in one sitting. The book is about a group of crimefighters that are a Vigilante group. The leader is a woman, Sloane who happens to be a police officer who works with this group. They are out to get the Phantom who is terrorizing Chicago. There may be a love relationship steaming between Sloane and one of the vigilante members. Can Sloane and the Vigilante stop the Phantom? Will they be the group that keeps Chicago safe? I highly recommend reading this book to find out the answers to these questions and much more.

Lies that Bind is the first book I have read by Valerie Davisson. It is book 6 in the Logan McKenna series, which I didn’t know until the end. While it can be read as a stand alone, you probably should read the series. I was really overwhelmed the first 1/4 of the book with all the characters. There is a lot going on, and so so many people. Once I pieced together who was who, and was related, it all started to click. Even still, there is a lot going on in this story, but it all comes together in the end. You just need to stick it out until the end to have the ahhh ha moment. I was impressed with the author’s writing style. She had 2 stories going, one from the past, and one current. It seemed 2 very different stories, but then it all came together. The story line is one of jealousy that leads to deadly rage more than once. I recommend this book, and look forward to reading more in the series.
