This was such a fun read! I was instantly capitulated by the different character dynamics. I love when it’s the man who’s the major romantic. This movie reminded me of a steamy version of a hallmark movie. It was such a light, airy read. Very well written and entertaining.

Such a beautifully inspirational and inclusive story. Shows the true heart of children and what can happen when adults get on board with the ideas of the children in their lives rather than dismissing them because they are young. The children are the future as the saying goes and they see things so clearly. Amaleigha is definitely one of those children with a beautiful heart and I would recommend this book for all parents to read with their little ones.

KG Fletcher did not let us down with this new series! What a sweet, original, realistic, heart tugging story!
Personally, my family motto has always been “You can’t help who you love.” meaning when you love someone, you just love them. Robyn and Ted have this you can’t help who you love, this faultless love going on. Things happen that tears them apart, for years, but neither has given up hope. After reuniting you can tell their love is true. However, another test is thrown their way. Will they both have enough strength to keep trying?
The plot of this story is beautifully written. Fletcher creates a town (Langston Falls), characters and even feelings that wrap a reader right into the story. Looking forward to reading the next in this series!

If you are looking for a fun and hilarious romantic comedy that would be perfect to transport you out of the cold and in the mood for the holidays, then this one is for you!
Kamana Wanalaya for the Holidays by Susan Renee follows Teagan, the love Guru and Tenley the love Cynic as they both try to prove each other wrong on their view of love. It all goes down when Teagan invites Tenley during an interview to a couples retreat at a beautiful Hawaiian resort. If she doesn’t fall in love with love, then he will donate to her podcast. So how will this go? Which will prevail…love or cynicism?
This book was so enjoyable. I laughed out loud a few times at the banter between the main characters while being jealous I wasn’t the one celebrating the holidays in Hawaii. Grab a drink, throw on some shades, and enjoy this quick and spicy read.

Murder on Oak Street is book one in the A South Shore Mystery Series. I truly enjoyed reading this Historical Mystery that once I started reading I had a hard time putting it down. I’m fairly new to this author but I’m definitely going to check out what other books they have written. This is a fast paced story that is packed with action, suspense, drama and so much. The twists and turns had me turning the pages trying to figure out what was going to happen next. What will happen when old files are open and new murder happens Are they both somehow connected? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I don’t want to give away anything. I think its better enjoyed going in not knowing what is going to happen. I look forward to reading more from this Author.

This is a very sweet and heart warming book. All about a mother’s wish for her child and wanting to wave a magic wand to make the wishes, hopes and dreams come true. Would be a perfect baby shower gift. Love how the wand is passed from mother to mother. Such a cute book.

The illustrations in this book are fantastic. The book asks the question where do Pirates go on vacation and yet it is never really answered. It does lead to the reader discussing the possiblities of where but yet it doesn’t really answer the question. Great for getting the kids to interact with the book. And again the illustrations are fantastic. It truly does inspire interactions and imagination.

What Actually Happened to Isaac Moore by Samantha J. Rose

What actually happened to Issac Moore is a really good question. In this incredibly smooth, well written, fantastical adventure novel we are left wondering just that. This was my first book by this author and I was taken aback by the creativity and imagination it took to weave together a story of this caliber. I did read the excerpt of the story and acknowledged many of the fantastical elements like giant worms, flowers with eyes, battles with air dragons, enslaving vines, and being brought back to life after a brain bleed, but I was still unprepared for what this book actually contained. I believe this is the best way to go into this book because I don’t think you can ever really prepare for Issacs journey. He really just wants a good nights sleep and some good food but he is thrown into a whole other world. This is an intriguing, wild, enjoyable read.

Amaleigha is a super sweet little girl who loves to visit the library and enjoys the many books that are available for her. She notices that other children, who don’t speak English, don’t have as many books available to them. So Amaleigha sets out to raise money to fix that and builds a little library so anyone has access to the books that they were able to get at any time. This was an incredibly sweet story that I was happy to share with my kiddos and we all thoroughly enjoyed. I really loved the directions on how to build your own little free library. I would absolutely recommend this book.

Where do pirates go on vacation? Or do they go at all? This is a very simple, easy to read, and incredibly illustrated children’s book. It was a fun, quick read before bedtime. My kiddos enjoyed having this book read to them, and guessing if pirates actually take vacations, as much as I enjoyed reading it.

Add a broken man who needs fixing and I’m hooked!
I truly believe that our soul mates are suppose to have such a significant impact on our lives that we are forever changed and this book just cemented that believe.
This book is superbly written with well developed characters and an amazing storyline.
I did not read the previous books in this series, so it can definitely be read and enjoyed as a standalone. But I loved this author’s writing so much I’m going to read the other.
Super Enemies by Lois Wickstrom

This is an entertaining story about sibling rivalry. The illustrations are wonderfully done and show how close siblings argue with each other. I love how the author shows how Mira and Carl act like super enemies into the very end. The ending was definitely and so relatable with any siblings. Children will enjoy this story!

I absolutely loved this book! This is the second book in the series. I will be going back and reading the first book. The characters are very well written. You find your heart beating super fast with anticipation of what’s to happen next when they are in a bind. This book also ends on a cliffhanger, I can’t see what happens next.

This curious tale, was definitely one of the more interesting ones that I have read this year. The author crafts her tale in such a way that you never know what’s coming next, and you just simply can’t stop reading. There are parts that will break your heart and others that will warm them. While you will laugh plenty you might also want a box of tissues, needless to say this book was an amazing roller coaster ride. But over all this book was amazing and I will personally be looking for more from this author.
What an amazing journey I took with these characters! Finding a seemingly worthless coin and having it mounted on a charm bracelet, the heroine’s life is forever changed. It turns out, the coin can help identify a villain. Said villain does not wish to be identified. The author provides a suspenseful mystery, with a tiny dollop of romance to tease the listeners. Betrayal, heart-wrenching choices, and above all- a wonderful tale from a truly masterful storyteller is what awaits you when you open your ears.

This is a cute short book for you little ones. I read this book with my grandbabies, and they loved it. I think a lot of the school libraries have the same issue about not having othe language books, and my grandbabies could relate to the story in that aspect.

If I had a Magic Wand by Melissa Lavi was the cutest story! I read it to my two year old and while she may not have understood it, she engaged with the pictures and said words after me. I loved the message and how the wand was passed to each adult. It was a sweet story about what we as parents or caretakers want for our babies. The fact that each picture was so diverse and shows how connected we are as parents and how our babies are our magic. This will be a beautiful story to read again and again to my kids!

I love it when I pick up a book by an author that’s new to me and their story is not only suspenseful but gives enough details to understand the main character and what she’s going through. This book has intrigue, multiple suspects, and it keeps your attention because it’s so good. I do wish I had read the first book in the series and I might still read it anyway.
Tallie Brown faces a lot of challenges but seems to figure out what’s going on before something happens to her. Moments when she faces how her life could have been very different are things many of us see in our own lives. This is one of the best suspense stories I’ve read in a while and I’m looking forward to reading more by this author.
Degrees of Innocence by Via Mari

Where can I find myself a hot, dangerous, protective hunk of man like the ones this author so eloquently bestows upon us? I really need to know. I took the time out of my busy schedule to cuddle up in my heated blanket with a hot chocolate and almost choked a few times from the steam that was coming off of these pages. The intensity of the emotions that run through this novels ink is incredible, and made me thirsty like no other novel has. I mean, perhaps the last novel I read by her but still.
I can never get enough of a strong female lead, either, and Katarina brings all of that to the table and more. Truly though, we all have our secretes, and if the person you love cannot accept you for all of you, are they really your true love? These strong characters, steamy scenes, and addictive world in which we dive into are incredible, and I cannot wait to read more. Highly recommend!
Reckless Heart by Jane Suen

This author is talented in more ways than one. not only does she have a way with words, but those words really hit you deep down, no matter what is going on in your personal life, you’re bound to fall in love with the characters that run deep in these pages. The world building itself is amazing, but I am never let down by her ability to draw you in and spit you out at the end, leaving you wanting to reread everything she brings to the table.
These characters are certainly ones that we have all read of before, that second chance love that everyone, or at least, myself, longs for day after day, year after year. The one that got away, the one you know that you would do anything you could to have back in your grasp. Maybe you don’t realize it, maybe they don’t but eventually, time heals all wounds. Dive into this love story, and I’m sure you will understand what I am talking about! Highly recommend.

This is a quick and fun small town romance that I found to be entertaining from Page 1. I lived the characters in this book. They were charming and fiesty and just great to read about. The main characters had a great chemistry. They seemed to be so different from each other but worked really well.
As the first book I have read by this order I thought this was a great introduction. It was short an easy to read but gave the perfect insight into her writing style. And overall great book.
Freedom Rings: Book Three of The Circle by Brenda Hardwick

Fantastic writing, great storytelling and a real gem of a book!
The main character, Soraya is a well rounded character who has yet to tap into her full potential. In this book she heads up the investigation into the killing of the Elders. She finds herself in a pickle when using her new found leadership skills while dealing with the Circle, only to find an antagonist is waiting to try their hand at leadership.
The need to unite together may take some convincing but can they survive without it!? The power struggle is real and creates a lot of drama and action in this book which is fitting for the finale of this trilogy.
I think readers will become true fans after reading this book, no matter if they’ve read the previous titles in this trilogy. The author’s brilliant talent shines throughout this story.
