Demon’s Angel: Satan’s Devils MC (Colorado Chapter) #2 by Manda Mellett – Review by Angelina Frazzini

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Demon’s Angel by Manda Mellett is book two of the Satan’s Devils Colorado Chapter series. I couldn’t put this book down! It has everything. There is drama, action, suspense and love.

Demon made a promise when he was younger and he always intended to keep it. Look after Violet. That promise was so much easier to keep when she wasn’t in town, making her crush on him known. Now she’s back and she’s not alone. He can’t let her presence get to him. He will help her but only as a surrogate older brother. Are Violet’s feelings one sided? Can she deal with this while also keeping her son safe?

This book definitely gives you more of an insight into who Demon is as a character. I really enjoyed this book and seeing how he acts in relation to Violet. This book is so good I truly couldn’t put it down. I had to know what was going on and what was going to happen next. I suggest reading book one first because it gives you more of a background into the story but both books are worth reading!

Demon’s Angel: Satan’s Devils MC (Colorado Chapter) #2 by Manda Mellett is another great book in this series which is the spin off series to the amazing Satan’s Devils MC. I have read all of Manda’s MC books and I absolutely love them all. These hot alpha men will do nothing and I mean nothing to keep everyone they love safe.

Demon has had a lot of changes in the last year and one of them he is still coming to grips with. Being the new President of the MC is another he is still trying to find his place. When a blast from the past comes back in his life the whole club is put at risk but to protect one of their own they will all pull together to right the wrongs.

This is book 2 of the Colorado Chapter of Satan’s Devils and I do not suggest it as a stand-alone. There is a very intricate thread from Book 1 and I think the reading experience will be better when read in order.

The author writes very detailed stories that i skimmed a few times to arrive at the conclusion. Some days my attention span is better than others.

This is an enjoyable epic tale of family. Multi dimensional characters, a very defined beginning, middle, and end and characters who I’ve become invested in.

I absolutely recommend this series.

I honestly absolutely adore this author! Her writing never fails to grab my attention from the very first word. I have read so many of her books now and have loved every single one of them and Demon’s Angel is no exception. It is the second book in the Colorado Chapter of the Satan’s Devils MC series which is shaping up to be one amazing 5 star series already!
I think I may be a little bit in love with Demon! He is everything I want the president of an MC to be and more! He was the strong, sexy, alpha male type of character who definitely lights up the pages with his heat and intensity!
I love Violet too; she was a strong, independent person who I really felt a connection with. I was willing her and Demon to find each other and be together right from the very beginning.
I loved the romance and suspense that ran throughout this story, Ms Mellett certainly knows how to keep me on the edge of my seat during her stories! I just cannot get enough of her wonderful writing and stories and I am definitely looking forward to more to come from this series!!

Demon’s Angel: Satan’s Devils Mc (Colorado Chapter) #2 by Manda Mellett. I have read every single one of this authors MC books and let me start off by saying there hasn’t been one book that I didn’t love!!!!! This is Demon’s book!!!!
Demon found out how his life came to be and he was still trying to deal with the severity of it.
Frowning up, Demon had a best friend, Nathan. When Nathan died, he vowed to watch out for his sister, Violet. And he did until she was an adult and she moved. He thought his part was done, that is until he sees her again, but now she isn’t alone, she has a baby with her. Demon always had a thing for Violet but never acted on it because of her brother. Violet is in trouble and needs Demon’s help. Can she make him see that just because she is Nathan’s little sister, she is still a woman and that they would be perfect together and not just for protection sake.
I absolutely fell head over heels in love with this book and especially Demon. I can not wait for more.

Demon's Angel: Satan's Devils MC (Colorado Chapter) #2Demon’s Angel: Satan’s Devils MC (Colorado Chapter) #2 by Manda Mellett
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Demon’s Angel is the second book in Manda Mellett’s Satan’s Devils MC (Colorado Chapter) series, which expands the world of her main Satan’s Devils MC series. The series focuses on a motorcycle club – the day-to-day life of the club and the bigger issues they get tangled up in.
In the first book in the Colorado Chapter series, we’re introduced to this chapter when a member of the Arizona chapter must move to protect a young woman. In that book, we meet Demon and Hellfire and watch as Demon learns the truth about his past. Now president of the Colorado Chapter, Demon is the focus of Demon’s Angel and is developed further.
Like in the previous book, the main drama of Demon’s Angel centres on protecting a young woman. Demon, like Paladin before him, feels like he has a duty to Violet and when she is in trouble, he can’t help but get involved. And Violet is very much in trouble.
There are scenes of violence, and references to rape. It’s quite dark at times, but there’s also warmth and kindness.
I’d recommend starting with Paladin’s Hell, as that will give you a bit more of Demon’s backstory. It’s a good series, which I’m enjoying despite not having read anything focusing on motorcycle clubs before. For me, this is a four star read and I’m looking forward to the rest of the series (and will get round to reading the main series at some point…)

Mellett has yet again written another spellbinding page turner that combines drama, thrills, suspense, and romance in just the perfect way. Throw in some motorcycles and hang on for dear life! Demon and Vi were fantastic main characters and you felt the push and pull when they interacted. There were several times that Mellett surprised me with the direction the storyline took. All in all a very enjoyable book that keeps with her previous MC installments. Wonderful characters. Cannot wait to read more!

Demon’s Angel: Satan’s Devils MC (Colorado Chapter) #2 By Manda Mellett. I have not once been disappointed by this amazing author. Once again I got completely hooked on one of her stories and this story was incredible! From start to finish I couldn’t stop reading even for five minutes I’d find myself wondering what was going to happen next and would find myself picking up my kindle to read even more. From a storyline that has action, suspense and romance to characters that draw you into their world this is a story that shouldn’t be missed. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. I’m once again left at a loss of what to do now while waiting for more! Let’s just wi have a major book hangover. Five stars all the way and can’t wait for more!

By Manda Mellett
Rated 4 stars

I really love reading these books! They are full of drama, action, loving and some smiles. I look forward to starting it every time a new one comes out. This one was no different. This one is based in Colorado. We are still meeting and getting to know the whole Colorado crew. So While reading I make a list of who is who and what they do for the club to help me out. This one is about Demon. We met him in the last book and his story continues in this one. The weaving of the tale is perfect! My only issue with this story is it seems there was too much time spent on denial. The two Main characters denied they liked the other because of past obligations but secretly wanted them. A little bit of that is fine (character development) but about half the book was too much for me. I started losing interest and just wanted the story to move forward. Once it started moving I could hardly put the book down. I ended up reading late into the night and early the next morning. Just wanting to see how everything was going to play out.

I enjoy reading and learning about all the new characters….and meeting some new evil ones. Not to mention interacting with a few we have met before. This is another good story that for the most part is action packed. I love the Intricacies that go one between Demon and his Dad. Their relationship and how they interact is just as fun to read as the rest of the book

By: Manda Mellett
5 out of 5 stars

The story Demon’s Angel: Satan’s Devils MC (Colorado Chapter) #2 by Manda Mellett is a wonderful book that I loved reading. It pulled me in from the very beginning and didn’t let me go until I had finished the final page. I loved reading about the characters of Demon and Violet. Demon is an important member of the Satan’s Devils MC club. When he finds that Violet has returning to town he is determined to keep the promise he made to Violet’s brother to watch over her. He has an attraction to her that he keeps hidden. Violet is a character I felt both empathy and sympathy for. She has always had a crush on Demon and seeing him again has caused those feelings to become stronger. Violet needs help. She must keep her son safe. Demon has vowed that he will protect both her and her son. What does the future hold for Demon and Violet? Will these two act on their true feelings for each other? Will Demon be able to keep Violet and her son safe? Read this book to find out. This story has moments were I was turning pages and wondering what was going to happen next. There is suspense that keeps you on the edge of your seat. I came to care about both Demon and Violet with each chapter that I read and wanted them to find happiness. There is intense and emotional dialogue in this story that keeps you glued to the pages. Romance also included in this story. I highly recommend reading this book.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Demon’s Angel is the second novel in the Colorado Chapter series by Amanda Mellet.

Ten years have passed since the loss of Demon’s best friend. He made a promise and he failed.

Now he is giving a chance to make things right. His best friend’s sister is now back in tow with a baby and need help.

As far as Violet is concerned, Demon only thinks of her as a sister and is only helping her because of the promise he made to her brother. But could there more than meets the eye with Demon?

I really enjoyed this novel and characters. I usually don’t read novel with the female protagonist already having a baby, it was refreshing to see them become a family in their way and come together.

While I haven’t read the main series, this makes me want to and it’s definitely on my list of series to read.

For anyone looking for a second chance romance with a lot of Alpha, then this is the book for you.

I loved this book! It is the second book in the Colorado Chapter series, it is just as great as the first. In this one we get to see Demon and Violet’s story. Demon is the son of the former president. He fails to keep a promise, with that comes consequences. Violet is a single mother on the run but has always been in love with Demon. Will they get a second chance at love? They are great characters that bring the story to life and make it feel real. They pulled me right in. A must read!

Demon
Before Nathan died, Violet had been the annoying child who’d followed us around everywhere. As a teenager, she’d developed an annoying crush on me.
My promise to my best friend had been to watch over his little sister, a debt I considered paid when she was grown and settled out of state.
Ten years later she’s back in my town, this time with a baby in tow. Now twenty-five, she’s the one who’s got me twisted up in knots.
But she’s Nathan’s sister. She needs help, I can give it—as a replacement big brother of course.
She’d be horrified if she knew what I’d really like to do to her.

Violet
It’s embarrassing to remember last time I’d seen Demon I’d been an incorrigible flirt.
When we meet again, I realise my feelings have matured, but not changed over the years. I still want him.
He doesn’t see me that way, treating me just like he would a sister. Stepping into Nathan’s shoes to help me out of trouble.
I do need someone’s help. But it hurts that he’s only offering to keep a promise made to my dead brother.
I’ve become involved in a war. Now, because of the debt Demon thinks he owes, I’m dragging the Satan’s Devils into it with me.
But having to deal with unreciprocated feelings is nothing compared with keeping my son safe and out of the clutches of his real father.

Manda’s life’s always seemed a bit weird, starting with a childhood that even today she’s still trying to make sense of, then losing her parents in the late teens. Going from the tragic to the bizarre, who else could be unlucky enough to have had two car accidents, neither her fault, one involving a nun, and another involving a police woman?

There isn’t enough space to list everything that’s happened to Manda, or what she’s learned from it. But by using the rich fabric of her personal life, psychology degree, varied work experiences, and amazing characters she’s met, Manda is able to populate her books with believable in-depth characters and enjoys pitting them against situations which challenge them. Her books are full of suspense, twists and turns and the unexpected.

Manda lives in the beautiful countryside of Essex in the UK, the area’s claim to fame being the Wilkin’s Jam Factory at nearby Tiptree. She can usually find jars of jam which remind her of home wherever she goes. As well as writing books and reading, Manda loves walking her dogs and keeping fit. She lives with her husband of over 30 years, who, along with her son, is her greatest fan and supporter.

Manda is thankful that one of the more unusual, and at the time unpleasant, turns her life took, now enables her to spend her time writing. Confirming, in her view, every cloud has a silver lining.
