With phenomenal world building, it made me feel right there in the story. I can’t wait to see what book two has in store for me.

A great stepbrother enemies to lovers romance. The chemistry between the characters was well written, and the story had enough drama, angst and suspense to keep you turning the pages. Both main characters took a while for me to warm to, but they won me over throughout the story as I learnt more about them. Overall a enjoyable read.

Overall I enjoyed this book. It is very dark with triggers, but quite well executed. I personally slightly struggled to connect to the characters at times, but the writing and descriptive information behind their stories was excellent. The steam and BDSM scenes were off the chart. Definitely recommended to dark romance lovers.

I didn’t realise this was the second in a series, but it didn’t matter as it reads as stand alone- I can’t wait to go read the first book now though. I have never read anything like this before, completely unique idea, plot and characters. What a series! This is a must get dark romance box set about bold brothers finding love. Suspense, intrigue, action, romance and steam. The books can be read individually, however I would recommend reading from the start as they do all interlink with each other. The author has done a brilliant job in each book building each character with depth and individuality.
