Elijah: A clean and wholesome medical romance (The Brothers of Creekside Ranch Book 3)Elijah: A clean and wholesome medical romance by Edith Mackenzie
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Elijah is the third and final book in the series and one I have been very much looking forward to. I really enjoyed Elijah’s story and how it all came together. I found it funny to picture all of these women constantly throwing them self at him. To see the “playboy” of the brothers finally have to struggle and come to terms with real emotions was a joy. I loved catching up and seeing where Levi, Amos, and their significant others are at. The added bonus of specifically what Amos is encountering, and how that tugged at my heart strings was beautiful. It was very nice to see the whole family, all three brothers and sweet Allie plus all the other women and the level of camaraderie, family, and heartwarming moments. Every time I pick up one of these books, it feels like coming home and that is a wonderful feeling. I did feel as if Elijah’s story was a little bit rushed, and it is obviously quite a bit shorter than the first two books , but that didn’t take away from the fact that I love this authors stories and writing. I cannot wait to see what this author has in store in the future and I’m actually planning on going back and reading books that she has written previously.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Edith MacKenzie has created a thrilling adventure in Levi; the first book of the series on The Brothers of Creekside Ranch.

Levi, an extremely angry ex-seal is tasked with protecting Bella turned Beccy. As Bella learns to be a nanny/housekeeper for Levi and his family, sparks fly between her and Levi – not always in a good way.

The story was fairly forthright. We know that somethings coming and hope for a Happily Ever After. The characters were intriguing with just enough background to help with flow but not enough to fully clear the mysteries of the past. I did have trouble with some of Bellas decisions which caused me to have to put the book down to breathe but I’m so glad I finished it. What a story!! Now onto the next installment!

Amos: A clean and wholesome contemporary cowboy romance (The Brothers of Creekside Ranch Book 2) by Edith Mackenzie – Review by Colleen Noyes

AmosAmos by Edith Mackenzie
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I love A good hot cowboy story and Amos definitely fits the bill. The author does a great job of introducing Olivia to the series and the connection that you see forming between Olivia and Mrs. Applebottom really brings some depth to the story. I enjoy that the author brought back Mrs. Applebottom and that this author has all characters from the first book playing equal part in this story even though it is about Amos. So often an author just takes characters and shift them to the back burner instead of letting them be an Integral part of every story.

The camaraderie between Olivia and Bella is sweet and I really like the fact that there’s no cattiness just two grown women enjoying each other‘s company and slowly becoming friends.

I find it beyond amusing how Bella has overtaken the house and the men. I love how much they’ve grown to respect her, become afraid of her, and have excepted her fully into their home and family.

This series feels like coming home to a little cabin with the fire going, blankets around your shoulders, Hot chocolate in cups, and being surrounded by the people you love most in this world. It has that type of cozy, warm feel to it that you just want to enrapture yourself with.

Just like with Levi, this story has some action and suspense. It was a great twist to see how far one character falls. I hope that at some point we get a little more background into each of the ladies pasts as I don’t feel there was enough history given, but Edith MacKenzie is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. Don’t miss out on this series especially if you like cowboys, strong women, and a clean wholesome romance.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from this author as it’s the first time I have read her books. I noticed that it was Book 1 when I started – generally I will purchase all books in a series before reading any in case they have a cliff hanger that moves into the next book. This one intrigued me when I read the overview of it so I picked it up while the rain was pounding down outside and I didn’t have a lot to do in the house (a rarity indeed!)

I really enjoyed this book! it’s the story of Bella and Levi – there’s action, family and romance – what’s not to love? I loved the way the characters developed through the book.

The only sad part was that when I reached the end of the book I wanted more. I will definitely be looking for the next one.

What a sweet slow burn romance! If you prefer clean romances, then this is for you. Levi brings that hard rugged military guy we all love, and Bella seems like the spoiled princess who hasn’t had to cook or clean when we meet her. Along the way, we see more of her character and find her more likeable. I love the characters in this book, and the touch of danger and suspense really makes it all the better. I am looking forward to the rest of the series!

I really enjoyed this book. Levi comes off as a huge jerk, and Bella appears to be very snobbish, but you quickly learn these are protective mechanisms for both characters. It is very evident from the beginning that they each have feelings for the other that they are denying and fighting all the way. I look forward to reading more in this series!

Wow. Best romance/action novel I’ve ever read! This book makes you fall in love, become a part of a family, and fight off your demons. Levi is an ex-SEAL who returned home because his parents died. His two triplet brothers, Elijah and Amos, and his little sister Allie with him as they mourn the loss of their family. The ex-SEAL agrees to take in a witness protection program participant, Bella, change her name, and have her live on the farm with them while he trial date awaits. However, it’s hard for everyone to not love this British ball of strength and power. In this book, you will find longing looks, action packed rescues, and emotional pain that everyone can relate too. Read this book. It will be one of your favorites too.

A lovely story of family, new love, ranch life, finding your true home, danger, suspense, and so much more. I love how the brothers came together to all be at the ranch to help their little sister. When Levi is asked to help hide Bella who is testifying against her Russian mafia ex-boyfriend, he has to keep Bella’s true identity a secret and he tells his brothers and sister that Bella is a nanny. Bella is a strong willed woman who has suffered from abuse from her ex boyfriend. Bella and Levi find that they are attracted to each other. Will Bella be able to testify or will something happen?
The characters are well written, you can feel their personalities and connect with them easily. The book was easy to read and follow and I enjoyed reading about them. I’m looking forward to more stories that bring the brothers of Creekside Ranch together.

This was a fantastic book! I loved the suspense yet still being clean. It was a romance while still being clean. My only complaint was that it was too short! This story is about Bella who goes undercover to help the FBI and take down her abusive ex boyfriend. She is placed as a nanny with the Delaney brothers. Levi knows the truth about her, but he is happy to have help caring for his new orphaned 9 year old sister. His identical triplets brother, Amos and Elijah, live on the ranch too but don’t know the truth about Bella. Bella quickly becomes part of the family. But will they still feel that way when they find out the truth about who she is? Will Levi be able to let down his guard to love Bella? Find out and don’t miss this one!

I was very intrigued by this book from the start. I was immediately curious about Bella’s past and who Levi is underneath the cranky exterior. This was a delight to read although relatively short. I do wish there had been more to this book I wanted to see more romance and I would’ve loved to read more details about the dramatics of the fight scene at the end but overall this was well done and a nice quick read. I quickly grew to love Bella and Allie was just the sweetest little girl ever. I enjoyed seeing all the boy’s different personalities but they had one thing in common…they love their family and would do anything for each other and that is one of my favorite qualities in male characters. This is worth the read if you have a couple hours to spare but don’t want anything too intense.

Bella thought getting her ex-boyfriend arrested would be the end of it, but while waiting for the trial, she’s hiding out as a house-keeper and nanny for the Delaney family.

Levi is an ex-Navy SEAL with a haunted past. The last thing he needs is to take care of someone else, but when a friend calls, who better to help out than a man whose loyal behind all. Now he’s stuck with Bella and finds that she gets under his skin and takes some of his demons. Unfortunately, his brothers are also under her spell.

Can Levi keep Bella safe and also keep his heart safe?

Can Bella find a way to heal Levi and herself?

Can they even survive long enough to find out?

This story was amazing! I had every intention of letting it slowly unfold over the course of a week, but once I started I couldn’t put it down. So I finished it in a day. Oops!

Levi is everything a girl wants in a wounded hero. Strong, brave, and handsome who wouldn’t want to be swept away by his pain and do everything they can to soothe his hurt and heal his heart. It’s no wonder Bella finds herself wanting to do just that.

Bella is strong willed and broken, but she’s so determined to find herself again after the trauma of her past relationship.

I feel like the only thing I would have liked to see more of would be Bella’s past in London and with Dmitri before she escaped him. This was a great read with a ton of suspense and a clean romance that burns nice and easy.

Can’t wait to read more about these Delaney brothers!

Bella puts on a front because she has been doing it to keep herself safe, but we get to see her real self as the book continues and we learn that she is a strong loving woman. The interactions between Levi and his brothers made me smile and the way they take care of and protect their little sister warmed my heart. The banter between Levi and Bella was fun to read. LeviLevi by Edith Mackenzie
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Levi is Book 1 in The Brothers of Creekside Ranch series. In it we are introduced to the Delaney Brothers who have been left to look after Creekside Ranch after losing their dad and stepmom. On top of running the ranch, they have been faced with the difficult task of how to care for their now orphaned nine-year-old sister, Allie. Running the ranch is a full-time job so the brothers are unsure how to properly care for their little sister. Ex-Navy SEAL Levi is finding the task especially daunting and feels that he is far too busy with the ranch to have to worry about how he is going to try to raise his kid sister. An opportunity presents itself when an old friend asks Levi for a favor and needs somewhere for a person in the Witness Protection Plan to hide out. Levi decides to bring her to the ranch as their new Housekeeper and Nanny to their little sister.

Bella has found herself in the Witness Protection Program after helping to get her abusive ex-boyfriend, Dimitri, arrested. Now she must find a safe place to hide out until the trial against Dimitri and the Russian mafia. Bella never anticipated to be asked to be a nanny for a kid or a housekeeper for three grown men. Having never been a nanny before Bella is unsure what to expect or how to act the part. She is more unsure about what to do about the attraction she feels to the rugged, good-looking cowboy Levi.

Bella and Levi instantly clash and butt heads with one another. Bella, an English aristocrat, comes across to Levi as snobby. His brothers, on the other hand, find Bella charming and fawn over her every chance they get. Levi comes across to Bella as bossy and rude. Although Bella is still struggling with how Dimitri hurt her, she has a problem with him thinking that she must follow his every order. Levi is fighting his own demons. Although the two butt heads, they also feel inexplicably drawn to one another. Bella feels compelled to help Levi and Levi finds himself jealous when his brothers shower Bella with attention. Will Bella and Levi act on their underlying feelings?

I loved the wholesome story of Bella and Levi and enjoyed reading to see if either would let their guard down long enough to let the other in. Bella may have seemed snobbish at first but there was more to her than that a prim and proper appearance and good manners. Deep down she was full of grit, determination, and hidden strengths. Levi came across as harsh and cruel initially, but he was fighting with the trauma of his past. This book was full of action, suspense, mystery, love, and good old fashioned family values. A great read!

This was a great clean and easy romance, with a bit of suspense added in. Everyone in this story made it an exciting read for sure. It’s on the shorter side and while that didn’t hinder the storyline in any way I just find myself wanting more time with Levi and Bella simply because I liked their story. I’m definitely excited to read more about this family. It’s got everything you need in a romantic suspense type story and characters that are so easy to connect with. Well written and paced nicely even with it being shorter it’s in no way rushed or lacking anything. Four big stars and highly recommended. Excited to read more!

Levi, former Navy SEAL, struggling to come back to the states after giving his life to his country. Bella, or was it Beccy, feeling lonesome struggling to handle a new life, a new job, and possibly a new love? Follow as both the new main characters adjust to new people and new lifestyles. As they learn more about themselves than they ever have before.

Edith did a wonderful job and I can easily give this book 5 out of 5 stars. From the storyline, to characters you can easily fall in love with, to her writing style. Everything absolutely fantastic. Being a farmer, I want to give Edith credit for her knowledge on horses, the ranch life and everything in between. Whether Edith runs a ranch or studied up, she really knew what she was writing about, and I really appreciate seeing the effort she put in. I absolutely loved reading this book, and it was a wonderful short read, with a happy ending.

I can’t really ask for more detail because that would take away the sweet short styled book. But if this book was ever given more detail, or another book added to the series, I would love to see more detail about Levi and Bella’s past, along with more detailed stories on how their romance developed.

I absolutely love this book and I cannot wait to read the next books in the series, to really get to know the rest of the triplets. Also, see little Allie grow up!

Thank you Edith for a wonderful book!

It seems love will find you no matter what and never when you expect it. Bella is in need of a safe place, and it turns out that Levi’s ranch is the safest place for her to be. Bella and Levi are like oil and water; never to mix yet there is a spark that ignites between the two and the longer they are together the more it grows. When everything starts to unravel, and the evil finds them, what will happen when secrets are revealed?

This is a sweet story about trust and love. Levi and Bella make a cute couple. There is much more to each of them than what they show the world. As the two begin to see each other’s true selves’ emotions come into play. The two work well together and it was nice to see how Bella understands Levi and what he is going through. Alongside their relationship we also got to see the family connections and the closeness of the brothers and just what they will do for each other. This story has some nice character and plot development. The closeness and the banter of the brothers adds to the story and has me interested in seeing what comes next for this family.

The cover just shouts “ you’re home! “ I couldn’t wait to get lost in between the pages of this read ❣️📕

I started a little teary but my sniffling quickly turned to gentle giggles when Levi and Bella meet for the first time ….

Bella May feel she jumped from the pot to the frying pan but just hang in girl I’ve a great feeling about what’s about to happen …..😉

So Bella is on the run and need to go into witness protection and Levi, his family and the ranch seems to be her haven and it comes at a perfect time because the men are in a need of a feminine touch and hand in tearing their little sister Allie…

I enjoyed the banter between Amos , Elijah and Levi oh boy they made me laugh 😉😂

The funniest was what I call the tea incident and it was so funny because I’m so particular about my tea 🤣it has to be made in a teapot and served in a cup and saucer !

While she gets along well with the boys but there seems to be a little tension between her and Levi and I know why but I’m hoping they find out what I know ❣️🤣

An absolute treat to read ! Characters are loveable and there was a touch of everything to tick all my blocks ❣️📕😉

This story had everything my heart needed. I absolutely loved how rugged, tense, and hard Levi was and loved even more the other side you got to see of him. This author did a brilliant job of showing you just a hint of PTSD. She kept it light but it was also so powerful that it had tears streaming down my face.

Bella comes off as a rich, posh, snobby woman who you soon learn is good at living with a façade. Her interactions with Allie will melt your heart and give you a glimpse of who she really is.

Elijah and Amos add to the fun. I fully enjoyed watching the three brothers interaction and could see how it related to so many other sibling relationships. I found myself laughing out loud quite a bit which just made this book even more enjoyable.

This book had so much romance in all the right places as well as action and suspense. The author did a brilliant job of writing a clean romance book with a suspense twist. The story I would classify as both a cowboy/western clean romance and a clean romantic suspense story. I cannot wait to read the next book in the series and I was not let down by my first Edith Mackenzie book that I’ve ever read. This author reminds me a lot of Bernadette Marie and Jill Sanders which is saying a lot. I highly recommend that you run out and pick up this book as you will not be disappointed at all.

This is my first read by this author and it was a delightful read, it has everything. From danger, suspense, and love. The characters are well written and I loved the way they played of each other. The plot was good also.

Bella Orstwell English aristocrat and she thought helping get her abusive Russian mafia boyfriend arrested would be the end her troubles. But it isn’t. Because even though she’s been whisked off to parts unknown to hide out until the trial, she now has to pretend to be the housekeeper to the Delaney Brothers and nanny to their kid sister.

Levi doesn’t have time for spoiled rich girls with helping to raise his orphaned kid sister and running the ranch with his brothers keeps him busy. But an ex-Navy SEAL never turns down a call from an old friend—which is how he found himself in charge of keeping the annoyingly Bella safe. He gave his word that he’d keep her safe and that’s exactly what he plans to do. One small problem, the more she fights him, the more he finds her getting under his skin.

Will Dimitri find Bella? Can Levi Keep Bella Safe? Can they both make it out of this safe? Can they overcome their demons and have a happily ever after?

With her life in danger, Bella (aka Beccy) is forced into protection. That protection comes in the form of Levi. Beccy is to live with his family (he is part of triplets), clean and be a nanny to his recently orphaned little sister. What she didn’t sign up for is Levi being so rude and standoffish. He however, is dealing with PTSD and needs some relief.

This book brought me out of a reading slump. I had to force myself to finish my last couple of books but this one had me racing to the finish line. The angst between Levi and Beccy was a sweet torture to read. Even better is that this is the beginning of a brand new series, one I intend to see through to the end.

He also agrees to help a friend and moves Bella in to be a nanny for their sister, while also protecting her. Their love story is unusual.

This was a very good story and character development, especially if Levi and Bella, was excellent—especially considering the shorter length of this book. The story flowed well and there was romance, action, and tension, keeping the reader engaged. Excellent, quick, easy read!
