Merry Christmas, Montana
By: Elsa Winckler

This is such a heartwarming Christmas story. It is amazingly well written with characters that know how to hit you right in the feels. This is a fantastic story that takes place in a small town. It features Riley, who is a photographer who is living in Seattle but whose whole family has moved to Montana. She heads there to photograph a wedding where she meets the bride’s brother and feels sparks fly. This is the third book in the series and it is the third that I have read. I definitely enjoyed seeing Riley’s story happen in this book. I felt that this story was perhaps the best in the series I’ve read so far. Which is saying something because I truly loved the first two. I definitely recommend picking up this one – its a good romance but it will also begin to put you in the Christmas Spirit.

Oh I love a good holiday read! This is the third book in this series but can be read as a standalone.
We follow Riley and Mitch and Riley’s son Dylan. Neither of them are looking for love but seems fate has other plans (doesn’t she always) .

I really enjoyed catching up with the others from the series so far and getting to know Mitch more.
This author sure knows how to paint a picture with words I felt like I was right there watching it all happen in real time.

Merry Christmas, Montana (The Millers of Marietta Book 3) by Elsa Winckler. If you need a book to get you into the Christmas spirit this one will do just that. Its the 3rd book in the Miller’s of Marietta series and can be read as a standalone. This is the story of Riley who is a single mom that lives Portland away from her family in the small town of Marietta, Montana. Its really hard not having any help or support close by but she has always managed. When she returns home around Christmas for a family wedding she realizes how she misses her family. I absolutely loved this story. It was so easy to read, the pace and flow were great and I just fell in love with all of the characters straight away. Riley was a brilliant female lead, she’s a devoted mother to her son Dylan but also because of her past she is very guarded and that does come across early on in the story however I think its totally expected considering what has happened in her life. I liked Mitch, I was anticipating her would be grumpy but he really wasn’t, he was a genuine, down to earth person who’s overprotectiveness was seen as being grumpy.
There was a connection between the two characters even if it didn’t seem it at times.
This was a lovely story and one that I highly recommend.

I didn’t realize that this was the third book in the series, but it was easily read as a stand alone. I did go and buy the first two because I liked this book so much. Small town families and friends and drama. I am also a sucker for a book set at Christmas! Riley is a single mom living in Portland and working as a photographer. Her family has all moved to a small town in Montana and she goes back for a family wedding. She runs into Mitch, the bride’s brother, at the wedding and is annoyed by the “fighting guy” as she calls him. Riley asks him to dance with her to get away from a creepy old guy and they both feel sparks. She goes back to Portland and tries to move on, forgetting about the kiss they share until her aunt calls saying she is sick and she is back in Montana. Her son isn’t doing well in school and she doesn’t have a lot in Portland, but she is trying to make a home for them both. Riley avoids and Mitch confronts and Dylan is asking a lot of questions and hoping for a Christmas miracle! I can’t wait to dig into the first two to read about the other character’s stories more!

This is the first novel I have read by Elsa Winckler and I loved it. Always fantastic to add another author to my list. Merry Christmas, Montana is a very heartwarming love story between Mitch and Riley and let’s not forget her adorable 4 year old son Dylan. I have not read the first 2 books in the series but I will be definitely looking them up to enjoy more of aunt Janice’s matchmaking ❤️ and read the love stories behind the other characters within this book.

I love a good single mother romance story and I have to say I was really taken with this one. There was something about the characters that I just really connected with and I wanted to know more about them. I loved watching the connection between the main characters grow. I was rooting for them right from the word go.
This is an author I am only vaguely familiar with, having only read a couple of her books. However, this book definitely cements the fact that I will be looking at what else she has to offer. This book was easy to read, really enjoyable and I loved every moment of it. This book is definitely worth the read!

This was a charming romantic story. I enjoyed the author’s writing style. This is the third book in this series but it can be read as a standalone. Riley is a single mom trying her best to take care of her son, Dylan. Dylan is adorable and I think he made the story that much better. Mitch and Riley take some time to realize how they feel about each other because neither one was looking for a relationship. This book has family, love, laughter, romance all in a Christmas setting which made it a great read. I recommend this book, you do not want to miss out on this charming story.

I absolutely love Christmas themed stories and this one fits the bill perfectly! The is the 3rd book in the series, but I read this as a stand-alone and didn’t feel as if I was missing anything. This is the perfect blend of interfering family, single-mom, swoon-worthy bachelor and small-town charm that is perfect for the Christmas season.
Read in just a couple short hours, you will find yourself drawn into the world of Mitch and Riley. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did.

Riley is a single mom trying to get her career back on track after losing everything four years ago. Well, she lost everything except for her adorable son, Dylan. Mitch is part of the Miller clan and he’s always such a sourpuss, or in Dylan’s words, always yelling! When Riley and Mitch meet up at yet another Miller family wedding, Mitch saves Riley from having to dance with the crazy drunk party crasher. There is an electricity from the first touch and, while they both try to deny their feelings at first, they really can’t. Riley is dead set on getting into another relationship but then Dylan starts asking questions.

This was a much more enjoyable book for me than the previous one in this series. It wasn’t horrible and I was probably just having an “off-reading day”. I loved how the story progressed but Dylan is my favorite character in this story!!! Will he get his Christmas wish?

Another story by Elsa Winckler that gives you all the feels. The Millers welcome you into their family from book one and you feel like you belong there. A heartwarming story of Riley a single mother with a young son. A professional photographer who puts her child first. The Millers are a family that have faced tragedy, moved to a new location to start over. And over the course of the books man have they started new lives. In the 3rd book you just can’t help but fall in love with Riley as you get to know her better. The best part of all these books is that the characters are in each other’s book, so you really get to know them. Can’t wait to see what comes next.

Merry Christmas, Montana is the third (and final?) book in The Millers of Marietta series by Elsa Winckler. It is a Christmas romance with a small-town setting, emotion, family, chemistry, spice, a special Christmas wish, heartwarming/feelgood scenes, and finding love unexpectedly.
Even though this is the third book in the series, it can be read as a standalone if you want. Each instalment in the series focuses on one of the Miller siblings who have moved to small town Marietta for the new beginnings that offers. This time we get Mitch Millers story and get a front row seat to fate bringing him his perfect match in the form of single mother, Riley O’Sullivan- although, they might not realise that they are meant to be, at the time. This is another Miller-O’Sullivan match that has proven to be a winning recipe in the previous two books.
The characters are wonderful, fully developed individuals with their own unique personalities, quirks and flaws- but who are also quite endearing. The characters continue to develop and grow over the course of the story too, so who they ‘are’ at the beginning of the book evolves as the story unfolds. The story itself maybe a little on the cliché side- but one I was happy to let charm me with all the sweet, heartfelt, and romantic developments. Ms. Winckler kept things from getting too ‘cheesy’ by sprinkling in enough drama and emotion to keep things interesting. Add in a cute little boy with a special Christmas wish- and the story takes a charming, and endearing turn.
Happy Reading…

Thank you, Elsa Winckler!

An enjoyable and engaging festive contemporary romance which kept me happily turning the pages. Having read and enjoyed the previous books in the series I was looking forward to returning to Marietta, Montana and ‘catching up’ with the millers, however it can also be read as a standalone story. Single Mum Riley O’Sullivan lives in Portland with her young son Dylan, she isn’t one to complain and definitely does not believe in miracles, even at Christmas. Having traveled to Marietta to spend Christmas with her family, the last thing she needs is maddening Mitch Miller coming to her rescue and surprisingly awakening her senses. Mitch moved to the small town with his two sisters having left a successful financial career behind him, but he’s definitely not looking for love, until Riley. Riley seems to captivate him like no woman ever has, of course she thinks he’s overprotective and a grinch.
Meanwhile Riley is also having to deal with Dylan asking questions about Dads and what they do. Mitch thinks that both mother and son could do with a little Christmas magic, not thinking that he could be about to loose his heart to them both. Neither Riley or Mitch know that Dylan made a Christmas wish, which if it comes true will bring them all together, as a Christmas miracle! As usual the descriptive narrative brings the characters and the wonderful Marietta vividly to life, including the small town feel. The chemistry between Riley and Mitch really came across in the narrative, and I loved the relationship development between both them and Dylan. This was a perfect book to read to get into the Christmas spirit!

This is the third book in the Millers of Marietta series following Riley and Mitch. The series can be read as standalones but I highly recommend reading the series in order to gain a better understand of the characters, past events and the relationships between them.
Both Riley and Mitch have their share of trauma which shapes them into who they are, and they still experience issues related to this. Riley, a determined single mother, and Mitch a very protective but sweet teacher. Their paths collide and you can’t help but root for them as they both evolve and grow as the story progresses. I love good character development and this book certainly had that and add in the magical holidays and this is a sweet enjoyable read, perfect for Christmas.
The writing style was simple and easy to follow and flowed nicely. This added to my enjoyment of the story, especially when wrapped up in front of the fireplace.
I want more from the beautiful world the author has created so I think I’ll be doing a re-read of the series closer to Christmas to immerse myself once again.

Merry Christmas, Montana is the third book in the heart-warming series The Millers of Marietta by Elsa.
This small-town romance is a fun story and a nice read to escape for a few hours. Plus, we get the added bonus of it being set around Christmas. It gives you all the feels and gets you in to Christmas mode.
The Millers of Marietta is about the Miller siblings as the name suggests, who moved to Marietta for a new start. You really should read the books in order as these wonderful characters cross over and you get to find out so much more about them. I love the characters and it is nice to catch up.
As I said this tale is filled with mixed emotions, taking chances, laughter, family, love, weddings, with slow burn romance and spicy undertones.
With just the right pace, some tension, and realistic characters that you can’t help but like it is easy to become invested.
I had mixed emotions about Riley in the beginning, but a broken heart will do that to a person, so I understand. She doesn’t have time for or want love. She is only in town for a cousins wedding. AND the fun begins.
Mitch was so easy to like and being the eldest he is a little overprotective and can come across as a grump. It was fun to watch these two dance around each other.
Plus, you hope that one little boy gets his Christmas wish.
This delightful story is also the perfect gift for Christmas, birthdays or just because. It leaves you eager for what’s to come next.

Single mom Riley O’Sullivan isn’t one to complain, but with her closest family members now settled in Marietta, Montana, while she still calls Portland home, finding good help isn’t as easy as it used to be. With Christmas approaching, Riley and her young son Dylan are excited to be in Marietta with family for the holidays; but she certainly doesn’t need maddening Mitch Miller coming to her rescue, awakening her senses, or making Dylan ask questions about what dads do.

Mitch Miller left his successful financial career behind him when he moved to Marietta with his two sisters. He’s not looking for love, but Riley captivates him like no other woman ever has. She thinks he’s an overprotective grinch–with good cause–but it’s clear to everyone Riley and Dylan could use a little Christmas magic and he’s willing to help. Elsa has been reading love stories for as long as she can remember and when she ‘met’ the classic authors like Jane Austen, Elizabeth Gaskell, Henry James The Brontë sisters, etc. during her Honors studies, she was hooked for life.

She married her college boyfriend and they are fortunate to live in the picturesque little seaside village of Betty’s Bay, South Africa.

She adores writing kissing books with strong, beautiful, feisty, independent and headstrong heroines and dashing Alpha heroes who loves fiercely and protects the ones they love. Her stories typically incorporate the family background of the characters to better understand where they come from and who they are when we meet them in the story.

This is the second book in The Millers of Marietta. I have not read the first in the series but after reading this one i think i want to go back and do that. Annie runs a B and B and is not looking for a relationship. Craig is visiting town for a wedding and gets enlisted to help Annie with marketing for her B and B. He does not do relationships. The chemistry between Annie and Craig is off the charts yet they both still try to avoid the inevitable. This book was sweet and funny.

Annie was meant to marry Ted but thank goodness she dodged that bullet !

She moves to Montana from Sacramento to live her dream of cooking for people in her B&B and she looses herself in her romance novels … what is not to love about this darling girl !?

Craig O’ Sullivan is in town for the wedding and when he pops by the B&B I really did LOL I’ve a picture mind so I played out that scene a few times and each time I laughed louder 🤣

Our Annie is a little challenged technologically but she catches on quickly and Craig has helped her get her B&B updated , he’s a bit of a marketing guru and soon enough he’s helping the community 🥰

Annie and Craig must be one of the cutest couples of my reading year ! Despite the fact that both are scared of marriage they’re heading to their HEA very quickly 😉😘
I love how Annie talks to herself and gets teased , there she reminds me of myself 🤣

There was a hint of sadness as well with the loss of Annie’s folks and the strained relationship between Craig and his parents but there was redemption which was a gentle reminder of how important it is to communicate and not just assume ❣️

I love the people of Marietta 🥰

A Match Made in Montana (The Millers of Marietta Book 2) by Elsa Winckler – Review by Jessie Hopkins

Annie is not looking to settle down. She is over the entire aspect of getting married. Craig doesn’t have any interest in being serious with anyone, ever. But for whatever reason, they have an unquenchable, undeniable attraction to one another. After an agreement to just let the next 2 weeks run their course and then be done. But will 2 weeks really be enough when all they can think about is one another?

This book has it all – the emotions, the turmoil, the “fun” of small town drama, and steamy scenes.

What an amazing book! This was such a great world to get lost in for a while. I instantly fell in love with Annie. She reminded me so much of myself it was almost scary. And then you add in the handsome and very Irish Craig and I was SWOONING. The way he is around Annie is absolutely precious and made me giggle like a little girl. They had some MAJOR chemistry, and I was ALL ABOUT IT. This book DID NOT disappoint. I highly recommend it.

Lifetime movie with a little steam to it. All of the characters are lovable in this story and I love moving to a small town trope. I felt the chemistry between Craig and Annie instantly, things start off with a steamy book and I’m glad there’s more to the story other than “beading nipples.” I liked seeing them work together but I would have liked to see Annie actually working her B&B that she worked so hard for. What I didn’t like was how fast their relationship took off in the end. Yes I did say they had a connection but I don’t feel it was enough for an instant love. The book was a nice, light hearted read and I recommend it to those looking for a sweet, happy ending romance.

This story was very enjoyable and gave me everything that I love about small town romance.
Annie and Craig are perfect together in this story…….romance, past hurts, meddling family members, small town gossip, banter and both Annie and Craig guard their hearts….but when the sizzle between them happens…their walls start to break down.

Craig is back in the town of Copper Mountain…..visiting his Aunt Janice and also with his cousin’s upcoming wedding with a much needed break from his work. Aunt Janice has this idea that while Craig is in town, he can help out Annie with her B & B marketing to help her get more customer reservations….what Craig did not expect was to find love in the process and want to be with Annie.

Annie is a independent owner of her own B & B that she loves, along with her siblings and trying to erase a past ex in her life that left her sour in commitment and marriage. She is content but wants more with her B & B and in order to do that…..help comes along the way in Craig to give her marketing ideas and tips…what Annie did not anticipate was falling for Craig.

Knowing Annie and Craig with their ideas of non-committal temporary relationship while Craig is in town…..will Annie and Craig be able to get past their guarded feelings and past hurts to have a change of heart?

This is a great story and I really enjoyed it so much. Looking forward to checking out more books by this author!

I can’t imagine what the loss of your parents would bring, but impulsive decisions sound probable. Add on the fact that you’re losing your supposed ‘til death partner before you tie the knot and you’ve got a storm of DEEP emotions. Annie moves after her tragic loss and sets up a B&B with little to no thought. I loved every bit of Annie. Her courage, her strength, and her willpower are all so admirable. I enjoyed the seamless flow of the story as we moved through each tragic loss and brave new start. I didn’t realize that I missed the first book, so I’m heading back to pick that up and get more of this author’s writing style. If you love second-chance romances with that tug at your emotions, then this one is definitely for you!
