My first book from this author. And this book was softer than things I’ve been reading. I enjoyed the characters and the story line. A little short for what I normally like as well, but wouldn’t deter me from recommending it.

I have never enjoyed historical fiction more than I have with this series. I am very sad to see it ending. Lord Hani is back on what could be his most difficult mission yet. And not one time was I disappointed. This book had my attention from the first pages through the very end. As it is the final book in the series, would HIGHLY recommend reading the previous ones.

I couldn’t stop. This book consumed me and any nano second of free time I had. Sera and Cassius were delicious characters who were so hard not to fall in love with. This was my first book from this author, and I really really hope to see more in this story. I have everything crossed.

Uhm… sir, I need my jaw back off the floor please. I haven’t enjoyed a book like this in so long. Nora is an amazing character to follow. I wish I’d known about the novella prequel, I’d still be here. Very excited to read book two.

I enjoyed this. My first book from this author. I really enjoy dystopian books, and this was far different that all the action packed others I’ve read. It was like a nice walk through the woods. It was a quick read, not entirely disappointed, with it was a bit longer.

This book was good. My first book from this author, not disappointed… different from what I’d normally read, but again, not disappointed. Grace is a great character and I appreciate the time put into her growth. Would follow along if it became a series.

Not saying I liked the fact this series is over, but it couldn’t have been finished in any better way. I absolutely loved the journey we followed Dahlia on. Would absolutely recommend it, and will read it again without a doubt!
I love Chloe and Quintus!!! The way the characters relate reminded me of one of my favorite friends so it worked. Also really enjoyed the fact that the main character isn’t a fighter but a healer. Definitely looking forward to the rest of this series!

Excuse me while I pick my jaw off the floor… I can’t even begin with this series!! Dahlia is literally one of my favorite bad behind ladies in anything I’m currently reading. I mean come on! If you haven’t started this series you’re severely missing out. 10/10 would recommend and will continue to do so!
Ugh yes. This series just gets better and better and I can’t get enough of it. Was easily my favorite one so far. Iron and Joy’s story is filled with secrets and all the yummy goodies that you will enjoy. Definitely worth reading.

I’m beginning to have a problem with this series, and that probably is that I can’t get enough. All of these characters are so good! Not big on holiday themed books being a main book in a series, but I’ll get over it.

I’m so ready to follow Emma in her next adventure, really hoping for a fourth book. This is the third book in the series so far, highly recommended to read the first two books as this one picks up right after book two. Emma is a great character and she’s hard not to like. Would definitely recommend this.

I can safely and fully honestly say it’s been a good while since I’ve immediately bought an entire series based off the first book. I COULD NOT read this fast enough. I fell in love with these characters so quick, I needed more, and right then. 10/10 gold stars for you author. This was my first book I’ve read written by this author also, not a shred of disappointment in sight.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and all of its 120 pages. I’m just sad that it was so short. Still giving it five stars though because I very much enjoyed reading it, and consumed it in maybe 45 minutes. I would have liked it to be longer, that’s really my only problem with it. First book by this author also, much impressed.

This book was so so very good! I made the mistake of reading book two first, but I came back to book one and I was not upset about that. This isn’t my strongest genre to read, but I was so drawn in to the worlds and characters is was really hard not to enjoy it. Would absolutely recommend.
I feel that I can read almost any genre, except the space time travel type. But, this book was fantastic. I haven’t read the first book yet, forgive me it’s on my list, but these characters are great. I would love to see where they started and how they’ve grown. I hope there will be more stories to this series as I’m definitely interested to see where it will take me.
I couldn’t stop. This book could not be put down. I needed to consume it with every free moment I had, which aren’t many lately. This was maybe my favorite book of the series, if you haven’t read one and two, go find them. Very much a different style of story and writing than my “go to books” but dang I couldn’t say a bad thing if I wanted. Good work sir. I’m excited to see what comes next.

Again, I am probably the least interested ever in reading history based fiction, but I couldn’t stop reading this. The civil war was definitely one of my favorite history lessons if I had to choose one, and this book was so good. Our main character was recently widowed, her boys off at school, and she just needed to find herself again. I really enjoyed this a lot more than I thought I would.
