Come Back Tomorrow (Embrace Tomorrow, #1)Come Back Tomorrow by Amy Argent
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Come Back Tomorrow by Amy Argent an emotional five-star read. This is number one in the Embrace tomorrow duet, and it does make you ponder, what if you don’t have a tomorrow, do you have enough to make it worth the fight for another tomorrow if you had too. This story will make you laugh, it will also make you cry, but most of all it will make you hope. I am not going to say if that hope gets lost as you need to read to find out, but I will say bring tissues, and wine, and a space in your heart for this duet. I am so excited to read the next chapter and see what will happen next, will I need more tissues, or more wine?

Come Back Tomorrow by Amy Argent is a great book that really pulled me in. I had all of the feelings while reading this. Come Back Tomorrow felt so real and raw. I really felt like I was there watching this, like a fly on the wall. I really enjoyed the characters Will and Tori, they were relatable to me. I’ve never experienced watching a love one fight cancer. But this book helped me understand the pain that cancer patients and their families go through. I wasn’t prepared for Come Back Tomorrow to end on a cliffhanger, but I didn’t mind this time, and I can’t wait to read Book 2.

Come Back Tomorrow was an amazing read! If you cry easily you may want to grab a box of tissues when you pick this book up because the tears can start very early and will flow continuously while reading this book! I loved the characters and fell in love with Will about as quickly as Tori did. I wanted to shake the crap out of Tori the entire time I was reading this novel though, and especially at the end! This book does end on a alight cliff hanger, and I absolutely can NOT wait to read the second! There’s so much left to find out!

This is the 1st book in the Embrace Tomorrow series. This is a Contemporary Romance novel and is 384 pages in length. This story follows Will in his cancer battle. He is battling one of the roughest forms of cancer. After 2 rounds of chemo, he has had enough and signs a DNR. Tori is a psychologist who visits with terminal patients. She certainly did not expect to meet someone as handsome as Will, and soon feelings develop, and sparks fly. Will there be another tomorrow for them?

This book is not at all what I expected, but in the best way possible. The author’s writing style has a way of keeping you hanging on to every word on the page. What a rollercoaster of emotions! I’ve never been a very emotional person while reading, but this book had me going through a serious roller coaster of grief and elation. I just wanted to reach through the page and strangle Will at some points and hold him close at others. Tori is so good for him. I hope everything works out for them. I can’t wait for part 2!

I have been talking to everyone about this book! It was an amazing emotional roller coaster. I love Tori, to volunteer to be friends with people that are terminally ill takes a very special person. Tori is definitely that person. She is personable, loving, and empathic to those she spends time with. Will is terminally ill. He has cut off all friends and family but has not come to terms to with dying. Can Tori help him make amends with those he needs to be able to let go peacefully? Jenny is a nurse at the hospital where Will is and helps direct Tori to him when she sees that he has no visitors. Jenny is a great support person, who walks the line of what she can and cannot tell Tori. Though I was screaming at my kindle for her to just tell all.
I had to have my box of Kleenex out from the first couple chapters of this book. It made my heart soar one moment and cry the next.

Come Back Tomorrow (Embrace Tomorrow, #1)Come Back Tomorrow by Amy Argent
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

‘Come Back Tomorrow’ by Amy Argent follows clinical psychologist Tori Somerset as she befriends cancer patient Will Everson who seemingly has given up on life and surrendered himself to a fate of being alone. If wholesome and sweet romances are your bread and butter, then this book isn’t one to miss- Tori and Will’s relationship is beautifully written and incredibly compelling. It’s not hard to see why the pair are destined to be together as they treat each other with kindness, respect and courtesy. Despite the book primarily taking place in a single place, it manages to feel much larger in scale- Tori’s big heart and Will’s sarcastic wit going leaps and bounds further than the confines of the hospital. Their chemistry is palpable and their affection towards each other is undeniably evident, which makes Will’s dire circumstances all the more heart-breaking. Despite the genre of the book, Argent refuses to shy away the ugliness of cancer and the massive toll it can take on a person’s health, and the story is all the more stronger for it- other novels with similar premises tend to sugar-coat or romanticise the illnesses they portray but ‘Come Back Tomorrow’ doesn’t fall into this trap. Argent thoroughly and clearly describes the way the cancer has affected Will- not only on his body but also on his mind, emotions, perspective and relationships.

A romance novel is only as good as its romantic leads and ‘Come Back Tomorrow’ doesn’t disappoint. Will has a penchant for painting, cats and comics and, beyond his understandably aloof exterior, he is arguably kind to a fault- willing to sacrifice his own comfort and happiness so as to not trouble and sadden the people he cares about. Tori is similarly compassionate- not only is her very career predicated on the notion of helping people but she does so in her spare time, which is what leads her to Will in the first place. She spends her time befriending those who seemingly have a very limited support system to assist them during their illnesses- bringing light and love to those who need it the most. These two truly good souls are a match made in heaven, and it’s a delight to read about their journeys to each other.

In conclusion, if you’re in the mood for a sweet and compelling romance, then ‘Come Back Tomorrow’ is a book you’re not going to want to put down.

This story is heartrendingly beautiful. This is one of the best books I’ve read in a very long time, if not the best ever. Amy Argent did an amazing job of pulling me into Will and Toris world as they get to know each other and Will struggles with such a horrible illness. There is so much raw emotion in this book that I teared up more times than I can count, but it was well worth it in the end. Even though I thought I knew what to expect when I began the story, I was left surprised and eager to read part 2 and see how things turn out. What can be more beautiful than giving a person that brightens your day a reason to hang on and fight a little harder and a little longer even if ultimately you don’t believe they’ll survive? This book definitely has me looking at life with a whole new appreciation.

The characters are superbly written and the story is realistic and so so good.
I’m truly blown away by Amy’s talent with drawing you into this emotionally charged story.

This book also showed me how special the simple human touch is, and what it means to someone

This book is like reading from my day-to-day job. It hit hard for me. Now I am not a clinical medical worker I work in medical records. At my job, I read through patients’ hospital history and when I see that they don’t have any family I tend to leave the office twice a day to talk. This book is very special to me. I will buy the hardcover. It’s emotional which towards the end of anyone’s life is. LOVE it when the hardcover comes in I will read it again.

I must commend this author on her research of this disease, it shows in her writing here. I havent had a good cry in a bit and this one broke the floodgates wide open. I was put through the ringer with this one and was in the middle with my feelings about it at the cliffhanger . I will be reading book 2 as I want to see what happens and how the author takes this story along.

*if reading about cancer, treatments etc is hard for you, I would pass on this book*

Come Back tomorrow was a heart breaking, emotionally touching story. It did take me a little while to get into the story and get attached to the characters but when I did, wow. I also had to definitely be in the mood to cry when reading this. Otherwise, I would suggest preparing yourself to cry for sure! Definitely got ‘My Sisters Keeper’ vibes from what the character Will goes through and how Tori tries to help. Did enjoy this book for sure and would recommend to anyone who likes these emotional and sad books.

Come Back Tomorrow (Embrace Tomorrow Duet Book 1) by Amy Argent
Come Back Tomorrow is the first book in the Embrace Tomorrow Duet by Amy Argent. Oh my word this absolutely wrecked me. My heart shredded with this story and at times I was reading through tears. Fair warning have some kleenex close by you will definitely need them. Will and Tori’s story will take you on one heck of an emotional rollercoaster ride with some anger, and a little denial thrown in. She’s a Clinical Psychologist and helps terminally ill patients through the last stages of their lives. She found herself getting attached even when she tried to convince herself otherwise. Will is a young terminally ill patient who just wants to die. He’s given up hope. From the first moment he met her he thought she was an angel. She puts her heart on the line and every her feelings grow more and more. Although this is a sad story there really are some very sweet moments. Will tries to push her away like he pretty did with his family and friends but she’s not that easy to get rid of. Let me just say this I’ve been in health care for a long time and have had situations like this one (not feelings romantically for patient) where there is no family and as much as they fight they really are happy you’re there. No one should be alone.I highly recommend reading this book with some kleenex close by and I can’t wait to see how this ends. Although this is the authors debut I’m a fan already and look forward to reading more from her.

Come Back Tomorrow by Amy Argent is book one of the Embrace Tomorrow duet.

Will Everson has terminal cancer. He’s made peace with that. He’s had a number of rounds of chemo all which were unsuccessful. His last decision, a DNR. It gives him the power to choose what happens to him. Tori is a psychologist who works with terminally ill patients. She visits Will on an effort to Matt patients that have no visitors. After meeting Will, she really digs in to understand his decision for the DNR. She thinks Will should have hope that things will get better. Feelings develop between Will and Tori but there is a tough road ahead. What will happen in book two?

While I appreciate that Tori’s feelings for Will are why she encourages him to choose the feeding tube and other measures, I didn’t like that she kind of pushed him to change his mind. Love means you support their decisions. I did enjoy the characters though and the story is heart wrenching. It really pulls you in and makes you hope even when it seems like you shouldn’t. I can’t wait to see what book two has in store.

This is the first book that I have read from this author and wow she had me at the first chapter. I love a good romance but this author exceeded all my expectations. This is the first book of the embrace tomorrow duet. I could not put this book down until the end and it only took me a little over a day to devour this incredible story.

Tori loves her job as a psychologist. She helps terminally ill patients and their families to find peace. Tori learns about a young man who wants to die all alone and she wants to see it for herself. She meets Will, who is a very cute guy with the most beautiful green eyes she has ever seen. Tori starts to build a relationship with Will but she knows one day he will die. She wants him to fight so they can be together longer. Will Tori be enough for Will to fight for or will he give up on both of them?

“Come Back Tomorrow” written by Amy Argent, is Book 1 in the Embrace Tomorrow Duet. It is a tragic, heartbreaking story about psychologist, Tori, who befriends Will, a young terminal cancer patient who has been admitted to the hospital she works in. There is so much mystery surrounding Will. He does not have any family or friends that visit him, and seems to have given up on hoping for remission. Tori begins to visit him every day and he starts to open up to her. Their bond is absolutely beautiful, raw, and honest. I couldn’t help but laugh out loud with some of their witty and clever dialog! This is an amazing story of finding peace, hope, and love, even when you least expect it.

Come Back Tomorrow (Embrace Tomorrow, #1)Come Back Tomorrow by Amy Argent

Come Back Tomorrow is the first novel in the Embrace Tomorrow Duet by Amy Argent.

Will Everson is a 29 year old patient with terminal cancer. He refuses all visitors including his family and friends to make it easier on them. He knows he can’t fight the disease but has decided to pass on his own terms. DNR gives him the power to choose.

Tori is a clinical psychologist who works with terminally ill patients and doesn’t want them to give up hope. She wants to change Will’s mind about dying believing he should not give up hope. This starts their relationship.

As someone who has watched a few family members pass from cancer, this took me some time to get through. I can understand Tori resolved to try to bring hope but I can also understand how important DNR was to Will because I remember my Aunt chose the same and was kinda upset and surprised when she told me. But it was her choice and I had to respect it. Throughout the story, it just felt like Tori didn’t respect Will’s choice like she should have.

I feel this would have probably worked better if this was a friendship instead of a romance. With his timing coming to end, at least he would know he was loved and loved someone else. So I could see this story as working with either one.

Such a heartbreaking story with some sweet moments.

In the short amount of time it took me to read Come Back Tomorrow, my mind and heart went through a whirlwind of emotions that few books have done in the past. From the first chapter of the book I knew this would be one that I would thoroughly enjoy, and I certainly wasn’t proven wrong!

Tori is a psychologist at the hospital where Will Everson is admitted to for treatment and over a few months she grows a strong connection with him, making each and every passing day harder for her to admit the truth about his situation. The reader will feel heartbreak, hope, and even shed a few tears as they read this amazing story that any fan of ‘Me Before You’ or ‘The Fault in our Stars’ will instantly be enamored with.

The end of the book was heartwrenching in all the right ways and ends on a cliffhanger that makes the reader eager to read the next book. I’m happy to report having found an incredible author in Amy Argent, and am excited to read the next book along with other ones she has written!

This incredible story captured a huge piece of my heart and I don’t think I’ll ever get it back. From the very beginning I knew I was in for an emotional read and I loved my time with the characters. Not all stories are sunshine and rainbows, sometimes an author comes in and shows an all to realistic side of life. This author did it beautifully and while I’m one who like the sunshine and rainbows sometimes you need the rain storms in a book also. I couldn’t put this book down and I can’t wait to read book two. There is no doubt when you read this book the emotional roller coaster it takes you on is bumpy, heartbreaking and sometimes hard to bear. But this story really gives you the feels that you want to cry so much to an uncontrollable sob to anger because we all know, Cancer Sucks. Tori is a psychologist at a local hospital and this is where she meets Will. When Tori’s nurse friend, Jenny, asks just to meet someone on her floor that this patient does not get any visitors of friends nor family. This man just needs a friend to visit and talk. This is the moment that Tori meets Will. Tori is taken back as she has befriended other patients before, but they were more older as Will is a young man of only 29. At first, Will just wants to die on his own terms, this is not his first battle with cancer and this time it is more aggressive. Tori would make a daily visit to Will just to talk and befriend him with no strings attached. As the days past and the more time that is spent together, Tori and Will fall in love but not without the true ups and downs when cancer is trying to win the battle. You also get to know Will before cancer and how he was growing up and demons he had to defeat. Believe me when I say this story is not easy at times, but it truly is a great story. I am looking forward to reading book 2. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Come Back Tomorrow was a truly memorable read! Right from the get go I was captivated and that didn’t let up until the very end. I knew going into this one that it would be emotional but I don’t think I was quite ready for just how emotional it was. I was quickly able to connect with the characters and I could easily picture everything playing out in my mind because this author wrote with so much detail, and in a book like this it’s certainly creates an impact!

This was an absolutely beautiful love story, one that I won’t soon forget!

Wow what can I say about this book. It is a beautiful story that is so powerful that you can’t put it down. The characters are so amazing written  that you feel your a fly on the wall watching it unfold. This story isn’t a typical romance. It’s full of tears, and laughter, it shows the strength of two people to fight for love even when all the odds are stacked against them. It deals with the subject of terminal illness and the grief that causes for the people who care for that person really well. It’s a book I read with tears in my eyes, a smile on my face and hope in my heart.

Will is dying. Suffering from terminal cancer he has given up on fighting and just wants to die alone to save the people he cares about watching him suffer. With a DNR in place all he has to do is sit there and wait.
That is until Tori comes through his door. Tori works at the hospital and has supported several patients towards the end of their lives but none like Will.
At first Will doesn’t want to know, he keeps his guard up and works hard at pushing Tori away but as she proves she is there because she wants to be and because she cares their relationship grows. The sad part is this new found love has an expiration date and with Will’s DNR in place and his refusal of treatment their time could be short.

Can this chance of love give Will the hope he needs to keep fighting? Or will Tori have to leave to let go of the man she loves.
