Crave (Clark Family Series Book 1)Crave by Evelyn Sola
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Crave (Clark Family #1) by Evelyn Sola was a great 5 star read.
I was pulled right in and couldn’t put it down.

Sandra is getting ready for a girls night when her mom talks her into delivering a cake for her. What she didn’t expect was to be invited to stay and meet a hot as heck man.

Jacob wasn’t thrilled about going to his mother’s birthday party but meeting Sandra made it a little easier. These two had an instant attraction and I loved how he really tried to impress her with charm. Then all heck breaks loose and Sandra sees a side of him that she doesn’t want to be a part of and she leaves the party.

He finds her a few days later, will he be able to convince her to go out with him? Are they destined for a HEA?

Overall I really enjoyed this read. We get twists and turns and I loved their chemistry.
I really felt for Jacob and the issues he was having with his brother, pure betrayal. These two were perfect for each other and I couldn’t get enough of them. It was an opposites attract type of read for me. I can’t wait to read more from this author and series. If you’re looking for a read with great characters, 1-click and get started today.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Crave by Evelyn Sola is book one of the Clark Family Series. I read this book in one sitting. I couldn’t put it down!

Sandy wasn’t supposed to stay for the party but she felt obligated. Then, she meets Jake and feels an instant connection. While Sandy thinks that maybe just maybe there could be something between them, some drama happens and it’s too much for Sandy so she leaves. Jake can’t let her go that easy. He messed up, more than once, trying to convince Sandy to give him a chance. They can make it work because he knows she feels the connection too. Will Sandy give Jake the chance he’s begging for or will too much stand in their way?

I understood Jake’s feeling of betrayal but for a little bit I felt like he was hanging on to the anger way too much. That being said, his character developed very well and by the end of the book, he was a hero I could enjoy! Sandy is strong and independent. She doesn’t need Jake but she can surely enjoy the partnership. I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read more!

Crave is the first book in the Clark Family series by Evelyn Sola. I have read a couple of Ms. Sola’s books now, and this is definitely my favourite, so far. The story oozes angst, drama, push-pull, past hurt, family dynamics, chemistry, some humour, and sizzle.
Jake will definitely have a lot to work through, and will need to let go of the past if he has any hope of making a future with Sandy.
Sandy is strong and independent woman, a hard working nurse who knows when to leave well enough alone. So, after an intense connection when they first meet, things crumble when issues arise from the past. So is Jake wants any chance, he is going to have to work hard to earn it.
What awaits in Book #2? Mmmm I wonder….

Thank you, Evelyn Sola!

Crave: An Instant Attraction Romantic Comedy by Evelyn Sola is a novel in the Clark Family series. This is an absolutely brilliant book – entertaining, great chemistry, fantastic characters. This book grabs your attention from the moment you start reading it and doesn’t let go the whole way through. The connection between these characters is palpable – you can feel it on every page. I found that I just couldn’t stop reading about them and had to find out what was in store for them.
The author has written and brilliant and in-depth story. If has been developed so well – she knows exactly when to push the story forward and when to hold back a little. The author has a strong writing style that is an absolute joy to read. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and cannot wait to read more from this author.

Sandra
Before THAT night, the over the top party and the cake incident, I spent Saturday nights with girlfriends, lamenting my life over margaritas.
I wasn’t ready for Jacob Clark. He was sin and dark edges, wrapped in regret. He was my kryptonite. His words oozed over me like warm honey. His dark eyes pricked my soul, and his touch….those fingers set my skin on fire.
Of course he was too good to be true. And before I could wipe the icing off my greedy lips, I was walking away.
So, why was he invading her dreams?
Jacob
She was the remedy to everything. Until my family, my past, provoked me.
I made one little scene, and Sandra walked away without a word, despite our mind-blowing connection.
When I finally barged in on her life again, she told me she didn’t want me. I told her in her pretty face she did. She more than wanted me.
Remember the ache? When I’m with her, it goes away.
If she wants a chase, I’ll give her one.

Who knows? When I catch her, I might never let go.

Unwrapped was the perfect addition to my Holiday reading lineup! This story is written by Evelyn Sola and this is my first time ever reading a novel by her. Immediately I found myself wrapped up in this story and unable to put it down. Within the first chapter I both felt sorry for, and laughed at Nick, whom is the boss of Mona, whom is the mom of Miranda, whom is the narrator of this story. I found this story had many laughs, lots of suspense, an excellent amount of heartache, and just enough steamy romance. This entire story is based around the Christmas Holiday, and I just adored how much tradition was packed into it. I loved that every single character was likable and obviously flawed. This story is meant to be a standalone novel, and is targeted at mature audiences. I really enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quick holiday romance! 4 stars!

Three Stars

The story wasn’t bad. There wasn’t much character growth. The relationship between the main characters didn’t really seem all that romantic. I will say that it got steamy. What they lacked in relation goals they made up in bed. It’s a fast paced story so you don’t get the same deep understanding of who the characters really are. Mona was a little annoying but I felt you could understand why. I definitely liked the concept of this story. That instant connection you feel with someone. That deep lust that has to be satisfied. I definitely felt that and knew where the author was going. Though some parts were not what I was expecting I would definitely read more from this author. I see a nice flow in the writing style.

This was my first book by Evelyn Sola. This was a sweet book. I liked the main female character Miranda, she definitely likes Christmas decorating more than me but it put me in the Holiday spirit for sure. Nick Bane is our main male character, he has a rocky start but I ended up loving him just as much as Miranda. If you’re looking for a cute holiday book, this is the one to pick up and “unwrap” (I know that was cliché but it’s still true!). After this one, I’m interested to see what else Evelyn has for me to get lost in.

Unwrapped by Evelyn Sola was a good 4 star read.
This was a fun read about a daughter falling for her mothers boss.

Nick’s uncle talked him into coming and working at his office in Boston. Lets just say he didn’t make many friends on his first day in the office. He felt like his uncle was a little too lax with his staff and Nick didn’t have plans to be the same way.

At the company Christmas party he meets Miranda and is instantly attracted to her. One problem stands in his way…..he’s her mothers boss and she doesn’t care much for him. Nick ends up convincing her to try a relationship, he wants to go public but she isn’t quite ready to tell her mother.

What will happen when her mother learns the truth? Can they have a HEA?

Overall this was a good read, we get some really steamy scenes and these two had a great connection that came off the pages. My only issue is I didn’t care for Miranda’s excuses for not wanting to tell her mother, I got slightly annoyed by her along with Nick. There is an unexpected twist that brings the secret to a head. All of the secondary characters were great, I really liked Nicks family. If you are looking for a fun steamy romance this is the one for you. 1-c.ick and get started today.

This book was not at all what I thought it would be. I honestly was surprised at the turn it took and once it started I couldn’t put it down. I loved the characters, the setting was very well done, and it was pretty easy to read, it had a nice flow. There were some great dramatic moments with the families and because it’s around a major holiday I think that made them even more believable and some of the situations are one’s that are honest to goodness horrifying to a new couple in your downstairs apartment in your parents home! HA!
I hope to see more written about Andrew or maybe Joe.

I’ve never read anything by Evelyn Sola before so I was not sure what to expect from Unwrapped or the author in general. I was drawn to the story originally because I am a sucker for a holiday themed book and I thought the plot was just different enough from what I gravitate toward! I will admit that while the book was good overall, my attention came and went. I did enjoy the chemistry of the characters as the storyline progressed but favored Nick far more than Miranda. The female lead was a bit too “young” for me to really connect with her. This was a good book to pass the time and not a super long read. It definitely sparked my interest in Evelyn Sola and I would love to read more by this author.

Unwrapped is the first book I’ve read by this author. I thought the book was well written and I mostly did like the characters.

Nick is a bit arrogant and it took me a bit to like him. He’s like the guy you love to hate in a good romance book haha
With that being said, everyone has their reasons for being the way they are.

Nick is a temporary boss at his Uncle’s company and the first day he gets into the office, things don’t go so well and not to many people like him. He’s nothing like his sweet, friendly, well liked uncle.
Fast forward to the holiday party and Nick spots a girl he cannot keep his eyes off of. Only
Problem is her mom literally hates Nick. Miranda has heard horror stories at the dinner table every night for the past 2 months or so. Will Miranda throw caution to the wind and end up spending time with Nick or will she keep her distance? Read the book to find out. Looking forward to more by this author.

Miranda and her parents had me laughing throughout the whole novel, and it was a great holiday read. The steam from the pages alone is enough to ward off the chill of December. This is definitely an 18+ novel. The storyline was great, and so were characters. You don’t even realize there is a 13 year age difference between the two main characters, because the story is so engrossing. This is a lighthearted Christmas romance which I found engaging and enjoyable. Nick is running his Uncles business for him and so has to attend the Christmas party where he meets Miranda and slips her his phone number. Miranda and Nick have instant chemistry which leads to some steamy scenes between the couple when they meet up at his house the next day. The only problem is, Miranda is a daughter of one of his employees, Mona and the two really dislike each other. Miranda and Nick have to overcome many obstacles including interference from Mona but I was cheering them on hoping they would get their happy ever after, especially as it’s Christmas. ‘Unwrapped’ has a lovely heartwarming storyline with some great characters and a fun narrative all of which made this a page turner for me. It’s a wonderful festive read which I recommend.

This is the first book by Ms. Sola that I have read and I simply loved reading Unwrapped this was a great read. The characters are amazing and I loved their little quirks and their banter.

This story is about Nick and Miranda. Nick just moved to Boston from Chicago and he was not likeable. Nick needed a new start in life when his life fell apart in Chicago so he is Boston helping his uncle out. His first day at Bain Construction he makes the wrong first impression on his staff.

Miranda is 23 years old going to school living in her parent’s basement. Mirandas mother Mona works for Nick and does not like him so what happens when Mona finds out that Nick and Miranda are a couple?
Will Mona accept Nick as Mirandas boyfriend? Can Nick and Miranda have a happily ever after or will Mona break them up?

You will have to read the story to find out what happens…

Unwrapped is a sexy “almost forbidden” love story. Nick and Miranda are proof that you can’t help who you love. Attraction is important for any relationship and Nick and Miranda have it in abundance. At first, they both believe their attraction will be a one night stand kind of thing. But almost right away they realize that their attraction is so much more.

This is my first story by author Evelyn Sola and I enjoyed her story telling ability. The tension she created between the lovers and their beliefs helps to create the “almost forbidden” love affair. This story is a quick read with a couple of taboo situations, the biggest one is closed minded thinking.

Good story for adults over 18. Interested in seeing what else Sola writes.

Unwrapped by Evelyn Sola

This is the first book I’ve read by Sola and it won’t be my last. Sola had me entertained the entire time. Unwrapped is the perfect love story.

Miranda goes to her mom’s work Christmas party since her dad doesn’t want to go. Her mom has talked non-stop about her boss and none of it is good. What her mom leaves out is her boss is HOT. The quote I chose for Miranda is: “It’s so beautiful. It doesn’t even look like the same place.”

Nick goes to take over for his uncle while he’s out recovering. Learning that his ex won’t be spending time in jail makes for a bad first day. The company Christmas party is the last thing he wants to do, but it’s the best thing that has ever happened to him. The quote I chose for Nick is: “I’m sorry. I was an a**. I was scared I was going to lose you, so I lashed out. I didn’t want to go through what I went through a year ago. Hell, what I feel for you doesn’t come close to anything I’ve ever felt before, and I couldn’t deal with the idea of you walking away.”

Highly recommended for contemporary romance lovers.

Unwrapped by Evelyn Sola, is a fun romance novel that really has you rooting for the main characters. Miranda is not looking for love and she certainly doesn’t expect to find it at her mum’s work Christmas party! She is a feisty, independent and determined young woman who knows what she wants and when she meets Nick Bain, she is taken aback at how he is nothing like her mum described. Nick is working at his uncles’ firm after a disastrous relationship has left him distrustful and bitter. He has an unfortunate clash with Miranda’s mum on his second day and it seals his reputation at work as being a horrid mean person. When he meets Miranda, he must fight to get the relationship he wants. This is an enjoyable book; I liked the two main characters and seriously disliked the mum! But it was good as it made me root for Miranda and Nick more. Would recommend to romance lovers.

Unwrapped by Evelyn Sola is a nice, fun, Christmas read if you’re looking to escape for an afternoon.
Miranda escorts her mother to her works Christmas party and ends up catching the eye of her boss. There are a couple of issues here, the main one being that her mother cannot stand her boss. There is also an age difference to work through too. The obstacles they overcome just make this couple stronger.
This book has everything you need. It’s funny, romantic and has great lead characters. It was a lighthearted read and a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Her mom only had one rule – do not find my new boss attractive. Well that was an epic fail.

Miranda is just broken up from a relationship which at first stung her but she got back up and dusted herself off. She lives in the basement of her parents and is bored every night at dinner with her mom going on about her new boss, the devil incarnate.

Nick has had enough of woman, after his last girlfriend screwed him over bigtime. So with him selling his company and relocating to help his Uncle run his business but when he runs into Mona his Uncles right hand woman he just seems to wind her up with everything he does.

So being forced to go to the company christmas party is not Nick’s idea of fun but when he walks in a sees a vision in front of him he can’t help but ant to get to know this beautiful woman, the only probably is it’s mona’s daughter. This will not end well.

I loved this story, the fact that Nick pursed what he wanted and that Miranda was just the breath of fresh air he needed was great to read. The characters was well written and the chemistry between them was a great read. It was a real page turner and I loved the carefree attitude of Miranda and with her finding love in adversity.

I really enjoyed this story. It was full of love and romance. The writer did such a good job writing the characters that you couldn’t help but fall in love with them.

Miranda had settled into her life living with her parents and being single since she split with her ex and she was happy with that.

That is until a chance meeting at her mother’s work Christmas party changed her life.

Nicky has stepped in to cover for his uncle at the place of business that Mona (Miranda’s mother) works. He gets off to a rocky start with his new employees and most of them don’t like him. So imagine his surprise when a woman at the Christmas party takes his eye and heart and that woman is the daughter of his employee who hates him.

Together they have obstacles to overcome. The age gap, people reactions and more importantly Miranda’s mothers reaction. Together they face all these things head on.

Is their love strong enough to overcome all these obstacles or will Miranda’s mother get her way and split them up?
