This is a well illustrated children’s book written in first person. The narrator is telling the reader a story about fairies and at first is drawing the fairy world. Then ending gives the reader a cute surprise. The pictures on each page are detailed and well colored.
Better Gnomes & Gardens by Casey Cardel

This is book one in the Mystery Haven series and I loved it! Starting out with mention of the legendary Bigfoot, this story already captured my curiosity. Bob is a character I could get behind and cheer on as he agrees to solve the mystery of the missing gnome. The owner of the gnome, Doug, had me cracking up with his sarcasm right away. This is a wonderful debut cozy mystery. I look forward to book two!
