This book was so cute. I read this to my niece and she loves it. This book goes on a cute adventure as animals. You read about how the wild animals could view us as humans. The pictures that they used in the book went very well with the story. This is a great book to read with young kids. They will laugh and love the ending.

This was really an enjoyable read. I found myself really interested in how this group of animals viewed humans in their natural environment and found it funny because I think really their observations were spot on with how humans could be viewed by someone who has never encountered them before. It was a fun book and I recommend it to any parent who has a child that wants to read. It is a nice book and I think many kids will enjoy it.

Ranger Marco, a raccoon, decides to help out a family of deer. He takes them on a people safari! The fawn learns a lot, especially when they’re on their own for a bit in the town. They give Marco a lot of questions which he tries to answer scientifically. It’s such a cute story with lessons, theories, and more. My toddler enjoyed listening and looking at the great pictures.

What a great way to teach kids to change their perspective! This book is about Ranger Marco and the animal scientists he is giving a tour to see what they think about humans and the things they do. It’s a fun journey with a deer family and their racoon guide. The illustrations are magical and fun, it gives kids a chance to think about the environment and some of the things we do, and it is laugh-out-loud funny on more than one occasion. I loved it as much as my kids!

It will have you giggling and give you a whole new perspective of nature, animals, and our environment. I thought it was a very cute book and definitely made my kids pretend to be animals observing me for the rest of the day! I highly recommend picking this up and sharing it with the younger ones in your life.

This was a cute book! It was interesting to see the animals describe what us humans do everyday, and I guess it would be an interesting and different way to teach young children about why we do some of the things we do. The illustrations in this book was also very cute and colorful. I very much enjoyed looking at those! I look forward to reading this book to my daughter when she gets a little older and understands more.

this cute and imaginative story by Feather Chelle. With the animals’ funny takes on some of the human ways, like walking on their hind legs and with the beautifully rendered illustrations, this is definitely a book for the keeper pile. Children will be so engrossed in the story that they won’t realize they are learning at the same time.

Will Fawn realize just how great her life in the woods is after seeing how humans live? You can find out by reading this fun tale that adults and children alike will enjoy.

People Safari was an adorable book, for all ages. It is geared toward little kids, but I think older would enjoy as well. The characters are cute (I love that they used a deer family with names Doe, Buck and Fawn) and the pictures are colorful and fun. This story is told in the perspective of animals, visiting and describing the human world. There is a lot of cute descriptions, that I would never have thought of. For example, how they think kids getting on a school bus is a monster eating the littlest of humans. It reminded me of movies like Over the Hedge and Open Season- where it is focused on a reverse perspective. Makes you re-think and giggle about the silly things us humans do. My 7 year old was laughing a couple times, saying it was the ANIMALS who were silly for not understanding. He loved it, thanks for a fun book!

What fun story to read to the kids. Looking from an animal’s perspective was amazing. A great turn around as far as people go. Made a person think, that’s for sure. The author made note of the different houses and vehicles. I laughed so hard when the deer asked where in the house people poop. The story was well written and easy to follow. Even easier for the children to understand. This may have been a new author for me, but not for long as I will be looking and reading more her.

I enjoyed this short and fun look at humans from an animal’s perspective. A family of deer are guided on a tour of a human town by a racoon. They get to see many of the differences between humans and animals and the way they live. This is a cute story that people of all ages will enjoy. While visiting the humans can be fun the young deer also finds out just how unnerving it can be. This is a cute read that gives readers a look at how animals might interpret the way we live. The deer family has some good questions and the pictures are fun and invite discussions. This story is an easy way to start a discussion with young children. The descriptions that the racoon uses to explain the way humans live are very entertaining and will bring a smile to everyone.

People Safari by Feather Chelle. This is such a beautiful book inside and out. Its the story of animals who go on a journey into the city and their view of human life. Ranger Marco, a raccoon is the leader and he is trying to convince the deer family that it is safe to venture out. He finally talks them into it and they go on an adventure. The fawn learns about neighborhoods, how people live and people in general. When the fawn gets lost the deer family is terrified and decide to never leave the forest again. This is such a fun book about animals take on people and the things they do. Such a fun book and would be a great gift as well. As an adult I enjoyed it very much.

What would it be like if the animals could go on a people safari? Pretty stinking cute! In this book has a ranger walking a deer family into the natural environment of people. They try to figure out what things like cars, humans wearing clothes…and dogs wear clothes are all about. The baby of this group gets lost and gets a little first hand experience in dealing with us people. So cute!!!!

This is a children’s book that takes the Deer family on a people safari. Led by Racoon, the Deer family set out to see how people live. Buck and Doe are hopeful that Fawn will see the dangers of being seen by Humans, but Fawn is too excited to heed any warning. A very cute story with education sprinkled throughout.

I enjoyed reading people safari. This was a great book where Ranger Marco ( a raccoon ) takes a family Of deer on a field trip
Out of the woods to show them the town and explains about the people wandering around, the houses they live in, the cars that he describes as beasts that do not talk or breathe. The fawn is very curious about everything from how humans walk in their back feet to the clothes they wear and change every day until they get spooked and everyone is separated and the fawn gets lost.

The animals are the main characters in this story that has you learning about who “people” are and why they don’t live in the wild like the animals. Very clever and will have you following along as we learn all about people.

The greatest thing about this book is that the story is told through the eyes of animals. It is interesting to read how they might see and comprehend our world. It’s an imaginative story that will take children on an adventure. A family of deer decide to go on a tour of the city with their tour guide, a raccoon. It was hilarious how the raccoon described some of our every day things such as clothes, pets and automobiles. The deer learn that as exciting the city is, it is also a dangerous place as well. This is a story the kids are sure to enjoy!

A family of deer are being guided by a racoon on a safari looking at human behaviour, but they have to be careful that they aren’t seen, or the safari will come to a swift end.

As the family look at human behaviour and try to explain it from an animals point of view, their capers are fun filled and interesting, while also being funny with the descriptions of human life from a different perspective.

This is a book all ages will enjoy, while also asking important questions about nature, both human and animal and is a good jumping point into talking more about the differences and similarities which exist there.

People Safari by Feather Chelle is an adorable Children’s Book with a fun twist. This cleverly written story is about a Safari. But not like the ones we are use to. The story takes us on a Safari through the eyes of animals who are studying Humans in their natural habitat. Ranger Marco takes Buck, Doe, and Fawn through a Human City. Along the way they try to understand why the Humans behave the way they do. Such as why they wear clothes and why children are eaten by buses everyday and then spit out later. It is cute, funny, and a cool way to help kids understand seeing the world through someone else’s eyes. If you have kids this is a great story that will have you both laughing and keep everyone entertained.

When we hear the word safari, we always think of animals and their habitats that we’re observing. However, this particular book is doing the opposite. The animals are the main characters, and they are observing the human habitat. The characters are very well thought out. The story flows really easily and is easy to comprehend. The illustrations are very well done and colorful.

People Safari is a cute children’s book that is told through the eyes of animals and how they see the world. It’s intended for readers ages 5-10 but I anyone can enjoy it. The illustrations are great and make the story come to life. My five year old son loved it so much we’ve read it several times already. Ranger Marco (racoon) takes the other animals on a safari tour to town where they see all kinds of strange things( humans, cars) follow along as we learn how animals see our world through their eyes. We loved this fun story and definitely recommend reading. We can’t wait to read more from this Author.
