This book was fantastic! I couldn’t put it down; the interactions between Stella, Charles, Alex, and Jordan were electric. The story had a well written and realistic side that was then paired with an extremely sexy and racy side. The storyline was very sweet and then the added electric connections just made it hotter. The author did a wonderful job of balancing the sweet part of the story with the naughty parts, while still giving depth and heart to the characters. If you are looking for a book that will get your pulse racing and keep you entertained until the last page, this is the book for you!

This is a new author to me and being intrigued by the cover, I decided to dive into this story of
Vaughn and Xena….and no doubt this has it fair share of loads of spice…….but also issues with family, trust, mental health, control, demands and betrayal…

Xena is in college and sharing a flat with her best friend, Veronica. Xena is smart and trying to achieve a law degree….while having these images in her head of Veronica’s brother, Vaughn. Xena knows that Vaughn is off limits, she cares for Ronnie like a sister, but one fateful day, Xena meets Vaughn and cannot get him out of her head.

Vaughn is a successful businessman and cares deeply for his sister, Veronica. Vaughn is the glue to keep the family together, or tries to for his sister’s sake. Veronica has these episodes of panic attacks and Vaughn is her savior when she needs him. Vaughn has had his eyes on Xena for a very long time though and knows so much…but tries to give off this hard facade that he does not want to be bothered. When Vaughn lets down his guard a bit…Xena is there and the spice is truly off the charts. Will the secret of Vaughn and Xena being together come out to Veronica and if so how would she feel about her brother and best friend being together?

This story is definitely a roller coaster …… lots of highs and lows and part of it went a bit in a direction I did not see coming and a bit puzzled with Veronica and Xena’s sister Aliza…..overall story was good and kept my interest to see what happens to Xena and Vaughn and want to read book 2 to find out what happens next.

I love spicy books and let me tell you, Vaughn’s Xena is SO spicy! I haven’t read anything by M.I. Rosegold before, but I am extremely pleased with my first book. I am also excited that this is the first in a series as well because I couldn’t get enough of Vaughn and Xena. Vaughn has a few kinks and he’ll never get to share them with the woman he loves because it’s his best friend’s little sister. Will their fates be intertwined or will Vaughn forever be settling for less than what he wants? I am counting down the days until the second book in this series is released. I highly recommend picking this up especially if you enjoy the spiciest of romances!

Hit on You is a Dark Romance that I freaking devoured in one sitting. This author is one of my favorites and any story she writes draws you in and makes you feel like you are part of the action. Her characters are real, fully developed and relatable plus they have a rawness to them that makes you love them even more. I must say out of all her books I have read this one definitely tops the list. This is a hot Romance that is fast paced and there is no stopping until you finish. Luke and Nikolai are simply wonderful characters. These two have incredible chemistry between them can they get the happiness they both deserve? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next I don’t want to give to much away. I look forward to reading more books by this author.

Grace Under Fire (The Anderson Sisters Book 2) by Jennifer Raines. I loved the first book in this series so it was not surprise that I loved this one as well. This is the story of Grace and Ryan who have both suffered great losses. Ryan lost his brother and Grace lost her good friend to suicide and instead of bringing them together, Ryan ran. Grace was dealing with the loss of her friend and her father getting swindled out of prime farming land. Ryan and Grace grew up around farms and Grace is especially attached to her families. Ryan is not and does his best to make money on flipping farms. Grace finds out she only has a short period of time to buy out her dad or they will lose her family farm. When Ryan offers her a solution she doesn’t want to accept but it may be the only way to save her farm. There is also the little problem of them being crazy attracted to each other. Neither one wants the problem of a relationship so will they let down their guard and try to make it work as business partners and more? Read this fun installment of the Anderson Sisters Series.

This story is a spicy adventure. It is also the first book in this series as well. We have our leading man Vaughn who is a bit damaged, and our leading woman Xena. Did I mention that Vaughn is her best friend’s brother?! If you like spicy romance, then this is for you! The chemistry was well written out and you could feel the emotions, the angst, the lust. I look forward to continuing this series.

Highly recommend!! I could not put this book down!! This is the first book I have read by either one of the authors but it certainly won’t be the last! This book was wonderfully written, each twist and turn pulled me into the story even more than before. Dominic and Whitney are interesting, deep characters and their connection through Juliana is a unique element to the story. The story takes us through Dominic journey for revenge after being accused of killing Juliana. Whitney can only help or hurt his attempt…

True Colors is a novel that is appropriate for middle grade readers – fifth to eighth grades. The story has many issues that kids of that age group can identify with-in fact, when I think back to when I was that age, it is spot on! Some of the issues include the struggle to fit in, cliques and belonging, boy-crazy friends, and lack of confidence. The overall message is that one shouldn’t limit themselves to just one or two friends, but look for something redeeming in all different groups of friends.

He sees a woman at the bar who keeps looking at him. He’s ready for a one-night stand but realizes afterwards that he wants more with her. Now he has to try to figure out who she is and how to get in contact with her. Will he be able to find her in time?

This book is not for everyone. I truly enjoyed it though – it pushed me out of my comfort zone. It is a best friend’s brother romance. It features Xena and Vaughn. Vaughn is Xena’s best friend’s brother. She has had a crush on him forever. But she thinks he is not dating, in fact she thinks that he hates women. When she finds out that he feels the same way about her things get very steamy, in fact, smutty. I enjoyed reading about their relationship and the author writes in such a way that one can actually visualize what is happening in this story. Their relationship was incredibly complicated in more ways than one but I liked watching them navigate this.

This book began with a trigger warning and let me tell you that it is deserved, so make sure to read it. But this is a dark, steamy, dark and twisty read. Dominic was abandoned at a young age and has been taking care of himself. He has fallen in love with Juliana and Juliana loves him. However, Juliana’s father is not a fan and has forbidden him to see her. He definitely feels that Dominic is not good enough. One night Juliana goes missing and needless to say Dominic is the first one to get blamed. This turns Dominic into a very angry, dark man. Years later he meets a woman who looks just like Juliana but isn’t. This is where the story gets super interesting. I want to end it there because I don’t want to spoil this for anyone. This book is absolutely amazing but also twisty.

This is a gritty and action packed story, with a lot going on from start to finish. You can feel the passion the author has for this story from the detail that has been included. At times the story felt a little bit slower to read but the basis of it stayed strong and interesting.
I was definitely intrigued to find out what was going on. The slow build really added to the story, creating a great thriller. I thought the characters all fit within the story well. This is the first book that I have read by this author and although there were times I wanted more pace, it was a good story. I will look to read more in the future.

Tataw has created a great resource, especially for writers who may just be starting out. Not only does Tataw list different companies for varying services, she also provides detailed explanations for why an author may need those services. I was also impressed with the checklist she provided at the beginning of the book for authors to use to see what services they might need so they could just go right to those pages. I think this would be a great resource for all writers and authors, but I really think it would be great for any indie writer/author who may just be starting out and maybe a bit lost in the wide world of everything that is writing.

If you were looking for a quick all-night sex extravaganza, then Night Hawke is your book. Issac Hawke is a newly graduated lawyer who is leaving Chicago to move back to New Orleans to be a part of the family business. He thought having one more amazing celebration with a gorgeous redhead would do the trick. The two spark up a conversation both wanting the same thing – a really good one-night stand. The catch is that they want to end it with no strings, which means no real names; Isaac goes by Nolan and the redhead goes by Jack. Well, this one-night stand becomes the best thing either one of them has ever experienced. The whole story is a prequel that starts their relationship, but the only thing that really occurred was a lot of untruths (to safeguard each other’s feelings, but also their lives) and sex, lots and lots of sex. “Jack” you don’t really learn much about her except that her family is highly controlling and she isn’t supposed to be out. She makes little hints but there is no description of why she is kept “captive” by her family – my guess will be maybe mafia related. Either way, the two feel more then they expect when one night turns into two. However, while Nolan wants more, he is left wanting when she up and leaves in the morning. He has no information on how to find her except that she lives and is from Chicago – he doesn’t even know her real name. As characters, I find both of them charming, and mysterious, but want more for their lives. That is the only info you get so the prequel sets you up for future stories, but you have no idea what that will be. It worked because I am interested to find out what happens.

The book goes through many aspects, such as, editors, publishers, checklists, marketing and everything in between. I like that this author included, after each section, companies or people who could help in that particular area. There are lists of editors, publishers and more. The amount of detail that went into listing each of these contacts and the description of each area of getting a book published is phenomenal. I see this helping many aspiring authors in their road to success. It is also nice to see authors helping other authors get their works noticed.

A book that kept me reading until I was done!

I will be completely honest and say that at the start of this book I struggled to fully immersed myself in the story. I think I just needed time to get use to this authors particular writing style. I am glad that I did stick with it and continue to read because I did end up wanting to see where the characters would end up and where lifes journey would take them. There is a definite twist at the end that I so did not see coming and leaves the reader wanting more.

Vaughn’s Xena is the first book in the Dirty Rockhard Billionaire Series and is a Romance that once you start reading there’s no putting it down. This is a fairly new author to me and I’m definitely going to be looking into what other books they have written. The authors style of writing along with her creative characters that are relatable and fully developed yet raw at times makes for an amazing story. This is Vaughn and Xena’s story. Vaughn is the type of man who likes to be in control and he usually gets what he wants. He’s sexy and charming and is the owner of a chain of nightclubs. He has his eyes on one woman and that’s his little sisters best friend Xena. She is a fierce woman who has a dirty dark secret. Whew these two have serious hot chemistry between them. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

This was a good read, just needed to be longer! The story, world and characters were well crafted. I really enjoyed Darin and Mrs Langley/Princess Mora’s relationship.
An easy read that kept me turning pages.

Talisman is the first book The Talisman Series and is a Paranormal Romance that once you start reading there’s no stopping until you finish. Three Made In Heaven is the first book in the Made In Heaven series by Elena Kincaid. This is the first book that I have read by Ms. Kincaid, so I really didn’t know what to expect going into the story. I was curious about what I would find- and am so happy that it was even better than I had hoped for.
This was a great introduction to Ms. Kincaid’s work, and has given me a taste for more… I will definitely be continuing this series, as well as exploring any other works I can find.
Maddie, Charlie, and Cole took me on an unexpected journey- one that snuck its way under my skin and had me devouring the pages to find out what would happen. The paranormal aspect to this story really gave it an extra element of intrigue. From dreams to reality. This story had me invested right from the get-go. I was pulled further into the story as the page count mounted. These three tell an intriguing and very memorable tale. I can’t wait to see where this series goes…. So bring on Book #2!
If you love a captivating paranormal romance with a sexy menage (MFM), longing, drama, danger, chemistry, steam, tension, emotion, suspense, and a touch of fate- then this is definitely the story/series for you!!

I didn’t realize this was a companion novel to The Brass Compass, but I can say that I feel it is a good standalone book. I didn’t get lost throughout the story, but I will definitely go back and read the previous one just because it was an amazing book! I felt transported to the 1950s and was in awe of the author’s ability to paint such a realistic and suspenseful picture with each page. CIA operative Miriam is attempting to recover from a nearly-fatal mission when she finds out that an old friend desperately needs her help. After Jake gets trapped behind the Iron Curtain, Miriam panics. She doesn’t know who to trust but knows she has to get Jake before the KGB does. I highly recommend picking up this book, especially if you enjoy historical adventures!

True Colors by Krysten Lindsay Hager is book one in the Landry True Colors series. This was a fast and easy read, totally clean as well. As a whole the book was good. As an adult reading I found it a little boring at times because it was middle school so it’s nothing like I usually read. However, thinking like a teenager, it felt like I was in middle school all over again! It made me feel like I was there and thinking as if I were a preteen again. So much friend drama, was it really like that?! (Yes, yes it was.) the story is about Landry and how she loses her best friends. Between trying to navigate life and figuring out who she is, she just wants to make it through school. Definitely a book I’d let my preteen read.

Chatroom with a View has a unique, and terrifying storyline. However, something about it fell flat for me. I’m unsure if it was the story being told in third person or something else, but I really struggled to get into and stay engaged with this book. I’m willing to try something else from the author, as it was written well, but I will definitely pay attention to the POV prior to starting.

The book opens up with a bang and then slows down for a bit before hitting back harder and harder. If you are sensitive to topics about abuse, you may need to stay away from this book.
