I enjoyed the book, but at times the pacing of the story was a little slow. This is a quick read if you aren’t looking for longer book and need something for a car ride or traveling. Samantha the main character is a struggling actress that is looking for her big break. However, as is the world, she is in need of money which then leads to title of this book ‘The Exchange’. The ending was a bit of a twist, and worth the read!

Real Movie Hero (Green Brotherhood: SEAL Team XII Book 2) by Debra Parmley – Review by La Toya Lewis

Real Movie HeroReal Movie Hero by Debra Parmley
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Real Movie Hero by Debra Parmley is the second book of the Green Brotherhood: Seal Team XII series. Although I had not read the first book of the series, I found it very easy to read. This book definitely works as a stand-alone. Reed and Christine are 2 strangers that meet at the movie premiere of Turn and Deliver. They find themselves facing an active shooter and Reed takes charge and protects Christine and the others. I found this story very enjoyable. Reed and Christine have great chemistry. I loved how at ease he made Christine feel. The plot was fun and action-packed. The story draws in and the writing is great. Time flew as I read this story. It is a definite page-turner.

Night Hawke (The Hawke Family Second Generation Prequel) by Gwyn McNamee – Review by Shannen Kern

Ruthless Hawke (The Hawke Family Second Generation Book 1)Ruthless Hawke by Gwyn McNamee
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

First of all, let me say that I absolutely loved Night Hawke, which was the prequel to Ruthless Hawke. It definitely starts the series off on the right (steamy) page, so if you haven’t read that one yet, pick it up! I love the entire Hawke family and this one is no different. Gwyn McNamee has such an extraordinary way of grabbing your attention, making you speed through the book without realizing it. The amount of natural chemistry pulls you in and feels more like being a part of the story instead of just looking from the outside in. I HIGHLY recommend this book as well as anything else Gwyn writes because her talent is just incredibly powerful. They have never disappointed me yet!
