Set in small town, Montana Meg and Ryan’s relationship will have you shaking your head one moment and the next, hoping the two are able to make things work. Will they get their HEA? Give thier story a read, it’s worth it.

Finders Keepers, Cowboy is Book 1 in the Match Made in Montana series and I did enjoy this story.. and it is a clean romance with drama, cowboys, secrets and truly a slow burn. There were parts that were a bit to slow. The forced proximity between the two main characters at times I did love the push and pull at times through their story…but sometimes I wanted to shake them…Overall this is a good contemporary romance and I am definitely intrigued what is to come in this series.
Ryan Kincaid and Meg Hawke knew each other since they were young as neighbors with plenty of banter between them and Ryan was always a bit annoyed by Meg…they are different in many ways..when Ryan’s grandfather, Hank, has Meg over to go through his shed and sell some antiques.. Meg and Ryan keep bumping into each other….but will Ryan and Meg be able to break down their walls to discover the love for each other…

Meg Hawke comes from a founding family line for the town of Herd, Montana. While she didn’t grow up there, she did visit her grandparents nearly every summer. As she grew up, she realized that her heart belonged to the town and worked her way to moving back permanently. Her shop, Finders Keepers, is a resale shop of vintage items that she finds. When her neighbor Hank Kincaid asks her to go through his shed of treasures, she cannot help but jump at the chance. Hank is like a bonus grandfather to her and his grandson, Ryan, has taken over the farm for him. She’s always had a secret crush on Ryan and looks forward to seeing more of him. Ryan, however, is not thrilled with having Meg underfoot and is in fact annoyed; until he realizes what life would be like without her. Can he get past himself and his insecurities to find his happily ever after?
I really enjoyed reading this book. The storyline moved along at a good pace and the characters were relatable as well as likeable. I could not help but root for Meg. I thought the author did a wonderful job of developing their love interest and even interspersed some peer pressure that Meg did not capitulate to. I liked that the author had her hold her ground. Hank was a loveable meddler in his grandson’s life. He could see the good thing that Ryan could have if he just got out of his own head. I am looking forward to reading more about the rest of the single characters in the town of Herd getting matched up by Hank!

Finders Keepers Cowboy is a cute, clean romance. It was no surprise how it ended, but I still enjoyed the story along the way. Meg and Ryan have known each other practically their whole lives. Their family properties are next to each other, and Meg’s mom and Ryan’s grandfather are close friends. We get the feeling early on they dislike each other. However, we soon learn their irritations are masking deeper feelings. I like the characters, as each was strong and independent. Hank is a great addition and I love his character. The supporting characters were developed enough to feed into sequels, and I hope that is the direction the author is heading. We need to see what happens at Frontier Days and with the herd, decking and Hank’s big birthday bash. The last chapter was a little cheesy but wrapped things up nice enough.

What a cute story.
I enjoyed Meg and Ryan’s relationship with all their highs and lows, endearing traits and annoyances with one another. The history between them and hopes for a different future. But honestly the connection to Montana and the history held my interest. What Ryan was willing to do to keep the entire community afloat and tourists still coming to the area was something I connected with.
I really enjoyed Hank tho. His calm and cool personality, and yet saying things how he felt and trying so hard to help Ryan and Meg.
Ryan and Meg’s story is cute and keeps you rooting for them as everyone else is as well.
I am excited for this series to continue.

Finders Keeper, Cowboy is the first book in the Match Made in Montana series by new to me author, Rachelle Paige Campbell. Because this is the first book that I have read by Ms. Campbell, I really didn’t know what to expect from one of her stories- but it sounded sweet, and I thought it might make a good ‘palate- cleanser’ between some of the more thrilling/darker reads I have been devouring of late. So I took a chance, grabbed a copy, and jumped right in.
What I discovered is a contemporary small-town enemies to lovers romance with a ‘clean’ storyline, a western feel with cowboys and ranches, forced proximity, secrets, drama, angst, emotion, slow-burn, and family dynamics.
I must be honest here, as these two characters really frustrated me to no end. They really rubbed me the wrong way, and because of that I found it really difficult to connect with them and get invested in the outcome of their story like I was hoping to. But as this is the start of a new series, I am curious to see what Book #2 may offer- so stay tuned.

A light contemporary romance about childhood part time neighbors finally realizing they are meant to be…with lots of encouragement from the loving grandpa.
This was a non-spicy romance that takes place in the plains of Montana.
He’s a cowboy who wears the world on his shoulders and she’s a chatty antique store owner who has problems but doesn’t want help. They do however have help from meddling elders.
This was a quick read and while it’s not what I normally read, I am interested in seeing what comes next.

This was my first book by this author, and it ended up being a pretty cute western romance to read in my lazy afternoon. It’s the beginning of the Match Made in Montana series which looks like it’s going to be quite interesting. I do enjoy both the rivalry and forced proximity tropes this book contains as well. The chemistry between Ryan and Meg is intriguing and kept my interest throughout the story. I did feel the flow of the characters’ interactions felt a little unnatural at times, but nothing to remove a star for whatsoever. If you’re usually put off by the spiciness of romance books these days, this is a nice, refreshingly clean romance to cleanse your palate.

This is a first for me for this author. I read this book and absolutely fell in love. Meg’s and Ryan’s story was sweet and touching. The slow build up between these two was adorable. When they were young, Ryan found Meg his next door neighbor pretty annoying. They butted heads often, but found amusement from it. Years later Hank asks Meg to clean out his shed, and she can sell whatever she finds in her antique shop on consignment. Ryan who still lives there, is finding this quite annoying and bothersome. But as time goes on, he finds that he’s actually enjoying the time that she’s there. However, Meg finds a piece that shocks both of them. Do they continue with their budding romance, or do they leave and forget each other? I absolutely loved reading this book and Henry’s character made me laugh a few times. The writing and story were extremely well written and I enjoyed every single word. I hope to read more by this writer soon!

This was such a sweet storyline for frenemies romance. Meg and Ryan had me rooting them all along. They had known each other for a long time. I think their grandmothers had tried to do a little matchmaking themselves when the kids were younger. Watching these two come to terms was painful at times but they worked it out for themselves. Hank reminded me of myself because he just said it how he saw it. He’s a good grandpa. Ryan was trying to make things work for the Ranch and Meg just wanted her dream to work. This is one of those sweet romances you should read just because you can. You won’t be disappointed. The characters are great. I loved the town. The story is done well. I can’t wait for the next book.

This is the first book in the series and it’s a little of a rough start. I am giving this book 4.5/5 stars because it has amazing potential and I feel that the books to follow in this series will definitely be more polished. It has good bones just needs little work in the characters. Ugh that isn’t even fully correct. The characters are good, they are complex but a little too complex for the story line. I felt like they jumped all over the place or said one thing and then did another. Just when I started to mesh with them something would happen that wouldn’t be in line with what I thought should happen. So this doesn’t mean that they aren’t good or written well. It just means I had a difficult time finding that gel that makes one connect with the characters. The book it self is written well, it is definitely an enemies to lovers trope. It has romance and love but in a very clean almost sweet package. You do feel the emotions of the characters. This is why its between 4.5 and 5 stars for me. It has everything to be a star booklet I didn’t gel with the characters throughout the book which made it hard for me to pay attention or not get sidetracked by something else, which is why it would be a 4.5 star review. Like I said earlier, I feel that the following books in this series are going to be amazing and I am looking forward to reading them. It was a really cute break from what I normally read and the story line is really, really good.

An enjoyable and engaging small town western romance which kept me happily turning the pages. Meg runs an antiques store which is faltering, and so when her elderly friendly neighbour Hank asks her to clear out his shed she says yes hoping to discover a forgotten treasure. Her only concern in visiting Montana Ranch is seeing Hank’s grandson Ryan, her childhood frenemy. Ryan is a workaholic putting everything into his business having gone into the world of high-end tourism. He usually avoids Meg, his annoying neighbour, but with her clearing out his Grandfather’s shed he can’t ignore her. However, the forced proximity has him seeing Meg in a different light. As the couple’s feelings develop a surprise discovery forces them to choose to either trust in the potential of love, or end the relationship and move on. This is a sweet, heartwarming slow burn romance between two likeable and relatable characters within a small town setting. The enemies to lovers storyline had me hooked and both the characters and the setting came to life, making me feel immersed in the story. I also loved octogenarian Hank who is a wonderful character. I look forward to the next book in the series.

Rachelle Paige Campbell is the author of Match Made in Montana series and Finders Keepers, Cowboy is the first book in this western romance series. It is a very clean frenemies romance trope set in a small town with small town characters.
I am a bit all over the place with this one just as much as the contradictory nature of the characters themselves at times. It made it hard for me to gel with them. One minute they are enemies and the next minute they love each other. Although Colby is a special character as is Hank, they definitely made the story.
What is it about her that makes him dislike her so especially when the town adore her.
I really wanted to like this story and the premise is good it just didn’t make the mark for me but don’t let my opinion stop you from reading it because you may just love it.
