Nite Fire: Flash Point by C. L. Schneider – Review by Carla Clemmons

Flash Point (Nite Fire, #1)Flash Point by C.L. Schneider
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is a great fantasy read that is fast paced from the start! I always enjoy a good shifter story and this one definitely keeps you interested. Dahlia is the strong character you root for to find that peace she seeks. I really enjoy the relationship between Dahlia and Creed. The descriptions in the story really help you see the different scenes in the story from the characters to the crime scenes. I am definitely reading book 2!

Fake Fiancé: A Second Chance Office Romance Audio Book by Amy McKinley
5 out of 5 Stars
I loved this story. While short and sweet, it was absolutely well pieced together and the story moved smoothly. It did not feel rushed and each chapter rolled into the other without feeling lost in the story as if having missing important information.
The chemistry between Stone and Adeline is quick and fantastic. It burns hot and quick and I love the banter and quick wit that Adeline has.
This book is for lovers of YA, and Romance. This is a solid 5 out of 5 stars.

The Woman America Loves a Latte By Holly Tierney-Bedford Review by Krystal Gregory

The Woman America Loves a LatteThe Woman America Loves a Latte by Holly Tierney-Bedord
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Woman America Loves a Latte By Holly Tierney-Bedford
5 out of 5 Stars
I rarely give 5 star reviews and this one was worthy of all five stars. This suspenseful, comedy, romance novel checks all the boxes that you want in a book. Veloura, or Vee, has had a rough go at life. It seems that life is just determined to smack her around and when she is black and blue, it smacks her around some more.
When her fiancés terrible decision making has her looking for greener pastures, she lands (kind of haphazardly) into her dream job. The problem? She has no idea what she is doing. Tierney-Bedford is a master story writer and this book is no exception. The quirky characters, suspenseful plot and drama and comedy has me turning these pages as fast as my little fingers will flick. I highly recommend this book for readers of all genres!

Eastern Shore Swingers Box Set Books 1-3 By Phoebe Alexander – Review by Krystal Gregory

Eastern Shore Swingers Books 1-3 (Boxed Set)Eastern Shore Swingers Books 1-3 by Phoebe Alexander
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Eastern Shore Swingers Box Set by Phoebe Alexander
5 out of 5 Stars

This Author never fails to deliver an amazing book with complex characters and detailed story lines and scenes. It would only make sense that this book series would be top notch and one very HOT read. If you’re a fan of JustSwingerPorn then you’ll DEFINITELY be a fan of these books!

Fisher of Men (Eastern Shore Swingers Book 1) by Phoebe Alexander
5 out of 5 stars

I do not give out a lot of 5 stars. A book must really touch my soul, be incredibly well written, and/or have an a major impact on me to get 5 stars from me. This book has more than earned the 5 stars. Fisher of Men is an erotic romance novel and this first in this series and it came crashing through the front door. Leah Miller, daughter of a Preacher Man (Praise Be to Aretha) was raised in a very conservative, Christian household. I would almost call it claustrophobic with its rules and regulations. But instead of following in the parent chosen life, she branched out into Hotel Management and took a job on the East Coast with a hotel called, The Pearl, where she figured she would learn about how the rest of the world live. There she meets and falls for a man aptly named Cap, or Capt Chris Sheldon, who, after attending one of the famous parties hosted by The Pearl, she learns…is a swinger.

This plot, while extreme, has some very relatable characters. Leah and Chris are both very loveable and extreme fun. Chris is super hot. I pictured a Chris Hemsworth look alike in my head, but I also can admit to a small obsession with the Aussie. Ms Alexander has done an incredible job keeping the reader engaged, yet not rushing the story. Her book is both complex, yet delicate in its simplicity that it is a love story. This book is highly recommended for readers of romance, erotic stories and just fans of Phoebe Alexander.

The Catch, Book 2 in the Eastern Shore Swingers Series by Phoebe Alexander
4 out of 5 Stars
This author never ceases to amaze. This second book in the Eastern Shore Swingers series is just a sizzling as the first. This book can be read as a standalone, however, I do highly recommend you read Book One at some point, because it is fantastic in its own right.
Paisley is a strong independent woman who don’t need to man, or at least she doesn’t need a relationship. The physical aspect of the man, she can get jiggy with, the emotional side of it, she can deal without. She is a flawed character and I loved that Ms Alexander wrote a character that has curves for days. Paisley is not the typical flat tummy, long legged runner who you would normally see in the Ocean City landscape around Maryland and when she is hired as a manager at a hotel, her first priority is to hire someone to design the hotel’s website.

Enter Calvin…the not so geeky..but I am a tall drink of water..Calvin. He challenges everything she knows. He pushes her boundaries and her comfort levels. When the steam starts to rise between them, the sheets start to smoke. When a blast from Paisley’s past come barreling back and threatens her, Calvin risks his own well-being to protect her and she starts to believe that he just maybe the very thing that she has been waiting for.

This book is super hot. 18+ audience for super mature theme and some steamy between the sheets scenes. Smooth easy read with passages and paragraphs flow from one thought to the next. As a reader you do not feel rushed through the story and the story line progresses at a pace that is both relevant and applicable to the story.

The Sirens Call Book 3 in the in the Eastern Shore Swingers Series by Phoebe Alexander
5 out of 5 Stars
In this third installment of the Eastern Shore Swingers Series, we meet Jesse, a cop and friend of the owners of The Factory who need her help solving a mystery that is surrounding one of the new members of their exclusive club. Sirena has a lot of rumors surrounding her and it is a huge cause for concern from the Owners of the Club.

Jessie is determined to learn what Sirena has to hide, Sirena joined the club as a means to escape. She is determined to not cave under Jessie’s investigation. Each come crashing together in the most explosive way.

Ms Alexander knows exactly how to draw the reader into the story with the first paragraph and hold them. I was hooked from the first sentence. I highly recommend this book.

Each of these books can be read as a stand alone, but i am a huge advocate, that as a reader, you should read a series in book order, regardless if a series is standalone or not. Phoebe Alexander is an amazing author and continues to put her heart and soul into each book and this series is one complete portion/ I adored this so much!

Untrainable by Jamie Schlosser – Review by Krystal Gregory

Untrainable by Jamie Schlosser
5 out of 5 stars

Ahhhh Jamie Schlosser! First, this author is almost always a 5 star author for me. She never fails to produce a fantastically written story with great detail, amazing characters and some strong chemistry.
Hadley and Theo are amazing characters. Their witty, easy going banter is super smooth, fast paced and effortless. Hadley is 22, smart, and doing all that she can to change where her life is going. An accountant by trade, but unprofessional dog-trainer by night, she has found herself in the unique circumstance of being one of the stars of a new reality TV show. One where she takes a washed up bad boy and try to correct his terrible, dog gone bad behavior.
Theo has the reputation of a bad boy of the worst sort. Not one where he rolls his way through all the bed sheets of every woman he has laid eyes on, but one where he is a bad attitude about everything and doesn’t care about what damage he leaves in his wake.
These two had chemistry both in and out of the sheets. This is a romance novel through and through with good helping of redemption thrown in there for good measure. Hadley and Theo make for two perfectly flawed characters who bring out the best in each other and with that, they help each other grow and become better.
I cannot recommend this book enough. The highest praise I can offer a book and an author is to re-read a book again, and this one is most assuredly on the re-read list.

Jesse (Glass City Hearts Series book 3) by Desiree Lafawn – Review by Ashleigh Harrington

Jesse (Glass City Hearts Book 3)Jesse by Desiree Lafawn
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Jesse by Desiree LaFawn is the third book in her Glass City Hearts series, and while I have loved each of this series books this is honestly my favorite to date. Jesse has got it all – romance, suspense, drama and tugging at my heart strings. Following the stories of Jesse and Harlow you get to see just how much these two are willing to sacrifice for family. For Jesse his family is everything. Growing up with a father who drilled it into you that Family is more important than everything else, he knew that at a drop of a hat he would give up his life for his blood. Jesse has always wanted to own a bakery, but he puts his dreams on hold to take care of his father’s bar. He was always fine just working away for the family business, until her. Meeting Harlow, his whole perspective on family changes. This woman calls to him in a way that he never expected, and that pull is enough to make he do anything to keep her in his life. Can Jesse take his dreams and make them work with Harlow? Or will he need to forge his own path away from family before he can commit to a ready-made family with Harlow and her son?
Harlow is a woman that just can’t see to get this being a female thing right. Other than having her son just over five years ago, she is more of a tom boy than ever. She has always been a hardworking, determined woman who would do whatever it takes to give her son the best life possible…no matter the cost. Just when she has plans to get a bit closer to the future that she envisioned for herself, the duties of a single mother get in the way. And then she meets Jesse. There is something about this guy that keeps her coming back for more. Is it possible that she can have a great guy and her visions of the life she planned with her son? Will Jesse be willing to work with her or be wanting to change her? Can she chance her heart on someone new? Read this steamy story to find out! Having read all of the Glass City Hearts series prior to this, I had very high expectations for this book, and LaFawn did not let me down one bit. I highly recommend reading these books in order, even though each book can be read as a stand-alone story. I can’t wait to see where she takes this series in the future because from where I am at, I can only see it continuing to get better and better!

Climbing the Walls, Hart and Cole Book 1 by Sacha T. Y. Fortune – Review by Krystal Gregory

Climbing The Walls (Hart & Cole Book 1)Climbing The Walls by Sacha T. Y. Fortuné
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Climbing the Walls, Hart and Cole Book 1 by Sacha T.Y. Fortune
5 out 5 stars

Let me preface this by saying that I rarely give out 5 stars. Anyone who know me, and knows how many books I read can attest to this, however, this book was masterful. What starts off as a slow burn, quickly heats up and then sends you on one emotional roller coaster that has you holding on for dear life and when it is all said and done, you are begging for more. I am not typically a fan of first person viewpoint writing but for this book, it works very well. The author managed to created two individual people within the story and tell a first person view from each of them and they did not get lost in each other, nor did one overpower the other.

This book offers a unique view on what the outside world misses for most marriage, couples, unions, motherhood, and even everyday life. I loved this book. I was very surprised by this book but pleasantly so. I cannot wait for book 2.
