Flightless by L. Duarte – Review by Jenni Bishop
Flightless by L. Duarte
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Gray, now a talented, award winning singer, songwriter finishes her concert and is getting ready to meet and greet. When her assistant hands her the phone, she hears the words no one wants to hear. Cancelling the rest of her tour, she flies home to help the only person who has ever loved her unconditionally.
Now at home, not only is she faced with nursing the one person who she loves most in the world back to health, but she has come face to face with the one person who sent her running in the first place. Will she ever be able to forgive or will she hold onto the hate and forget to live her life as she has done for the last ten years? After coming to terms with her past, Gray finally realises that it is time to forgive.
Gray finds out her mother is sicker than she has been told and together they decide to live life with the time they have left together. With an unknown danger lurking in the background will Gray have her happy ever after?
To find out the answer to that question you will have to read this book. It is truly well worth the read. L Duarte is a very talented writer and I can’t wait to read other books by this Author.
