I am generally very picky about authors, their writing, and genre of books I read. I have my favorite authors and it’s rare that I steer away from what I know I like. I was questioning if this was a book I would enjoy!
I should’ve given Truth or Kill the benefit of the doubt. It was a great book, with twists I wasn’t expecting. The characters are wonderful. From their names, personalities, how they mesh together, and then how the plot develops.
The book has the feel of a “game board” and keeps the writer guessing what is going on.
Can’t wait to check out the other books by this author!

Kramer – Review by Brittany Carlin
This is the last book in this Vampire Series. It is also the fifth book. It would be beneficial to read them in order as there is not much context in this book, for the previous installments. I typically do not choose paranormal or vampire books to read, but I decided to give this series a shot! The artwork on the cover immediately drew me in. Plus a rockstar female leads the show.
Rowena continues her badass actions in essentially deciding the fate of the empire. I was greatly impressed with this author’s ability to continue on with so much excitement in this series. Unexpected twist at the end, and so much sadness knowing this was the true end of this series.
If you like danger, excitement, and things a little weird – this series will keep you busy for a while!

Fun, sexy, quick. Nope, I was not explaining my night. I was explaining this romance cook! I definitely recommend it for someone who wants to read something a little spicy, that is a pretty quick read, because I got hooked right in. Immediately I was drawn to the cover. Simply enticing.
This story surrounds Juliet, Ten and Gage. Juliet and Ten are best friends trying to :”live it up”. Ten tries out underground fighting, hence the title. This is where Gage comes in the picture. Every girl wants a bad boy, right? Which one will Juliet possibly choose? Or will she choose both? 😉

I really liked this story. Mating Call is book one in the Long Claw Pride series. The author, Brooke May, really has an amazing talent at creating this new world of shifters. One note I would have appreciated was a little more background on why they are Mountain Lion shifters. What made them that way and what is the deeper story? That note aside the story line itself is really well developed, with characters that are well fleshed out and make you care about them. I thoroughly enjoyed Cheyanne & Lane’s story and look forward to reading more about the rest of the family. This wonderful HEA tale will keep you engaged and leave you with a smile.

I am new to this author. I got this book because of the synopsis and the tattooed guy. I regret NOTHING! This book was amazing from cover to cover. Once I started reading I couldn’t put it down, I finished it in one day! It was very well written and the author has a way of making you fall in love with the characters. The story line was remarkable and I would highly recommend this story to anyone into romance novels. I look forward to reading more in the series and more from this author!
Obsessed (Lila Casey Series Book 1) by J Collins was a pretty okay read that had me smiling, annoyed and just got me in all the good fun feels.
This book was such a joy to read that I had it pretty much read in one sitting. As I said it’s fun, light hearted, and has some pretty good chuckle moments. I’ve read my fair share of vampire books, and I always love it when there’s a new spin on the lore. This author did a great job of making this read fresh and enjoyable. The romance was quick, but not overpowering, it flowed nice and once the other vampires started showing up, the story found solid footing and took off.
I will say that our MC Lila was a little hard for me to like at the start. She seemed a little immature for her age, and it was annoying. She did get better as the story when on, but if it wasn’t for Adam (our sexy vamp) then I don’t think I would have liked her at all, and might even have not wanted to finish the book. Other elements like detail and the overall storytelling was a major draw for me, and helped with the unlikeable MC. But as I have said she does get better as the story goes on, I just wish she wasn’t so, eyerolly at the start.
Overall this story is fantastically good, it’s has that quirky feel that just keeps you engaged and turning the pages. I’m definitely going to be following this series, as I believe that it’s going to be something epic. So yes, this book gets my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval.

Too Hot to Handle (The Catch, Book 3) by Avery Scott was a fun, hot, entertaining read, that had me hooked!
My first read from this author and in this series, I didn’t know what I was getting into. But with it’s enticing cover and raving reviews, I took a chance, and I’m glad I did.
This book was hooking from the start, I love Tony’s voice and his witty sarcastic ways. Gigi, she’s something, and such a wonderful character to read about. Both played off one another perfectly and entertainingly. The overall story reads like a block busting rom-comm, and the detail and steady flow just added to the wonderfullness of this crazy good story. I love how the author took something overused and made it into something new and shiny. These type of books are predictable, so I always love it when authors can take those concepts and make them fresh, and marvelous like a new toy. That my friends is true talent, and love for the craft.
Overall this book is a must read, and if the other book in this series are just as outstanding as this one, I’m going to be binge reading real soon. To end this book gets my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval.
