This is the second book in the Southern Promises series, but each book can be read as stand-alone, but as usual you get the best overall experience from reading the whole series. Hartford what can I say about you, he is most certainly a character that will cause you drama. Heads butt and hearts collide in this story filled with passion. This is becoming a series you wont want to miss.

This story is the second installment of the Southern Promises series by K.G. Fletcher. Like the first one, this novel can be read perfectly as a standalone, but makes better sense when read with the series. Hart is unemployed, and living with his sister Katie, who we meet in book 1. Gia is a business owner/dancer/impersonator. They come from different sides of the track and know 2 completely different ways of life. When Hart and Gia hit it off, I was definitely interested in seeing what kinds of ups and downs they experience. This story touched on some real world issues while demonstrating what it means to want to be a better person because of the person you love. I found myself super annoyed by Gia more than once, and kinda in love with Hart just as much. Fantastic read! 5 out of 5 stars!

After reading Georgia Clay I did not know what to expect for Georgia On My Mind. I loved it so much that this book had a lot to live up to. However, I think I actually love this more! Tstory was so captivating. It was a quick read but it was packed full of emotions.
‘We’re broken people, Gia. I’m broken. You’re broken. We’ve both had our fair share of terrible mistakes.’
The pain that Gia and Hart were feeling, I felt it too because the writing was so real. I did predict the ending of this story but it did not make me love this any less. Bring on the next book!

5 out of 5 stars Georgia On My Mind is the second book in the Southern Promises written by K.G. Fletcher ad the second book that I have read by this author. I enjoyed her writing style as it is easy flowing and creative. The character are amazing, well written and I loved their banter with each other this made them feel more real. The storyline felt real.
Hartford Parker is a disgraced real estate broker hiding out in his sister’s condo in suburban Atlanta. Swearing off women after an embarrassing indiscretion at a black-tie even, Hart now indulges in drinking and working out as he tries to come to terms with his unexpected firing at a prestigious DC firm. Gia Bates is struggling to make ends meet at her failing dance studio across town in a run down and forgotten part of the city. Secretly working part-time as a Marilyn Monroe impersonator for a seedy entertainment company has Gia feeling trapped in her debt while slowly chipping away at her passion and solace in dance. Hart and Gia find themselves at the same party and end up on an uncertain path full of sex, secrets, and shame. As they move forward in a spicy tango, can the two of them ever dance in sync? Georgia on My Mind is the second book in the Southern Promises series by K.G. Fletcher and I think I liked it a bit more than the first. There was just something about Gia and Hart that drew me in from the very start.
Hart was an immature playboy who to me acted like the world owed him. Thankfully he gets taught a very important lesson and finally decides to grow up and be the man his parents raised him to be.
Gia’s back story just made me sad. She has been through so much and she was busting her tail to hold on to the happy part of her childhood.
This was a great story and now I’m sitting here waiting for the next book in the series to release. Cannot wait to see what happens!

5 Star Georgia on My Mind ( Southern Promises Book 2) By KG Fletcher is the second book in the Southern Promises series. I definitely recommend reading the first book in this series as well. I’ve loved this series so far but I think this story is my favorite. It pulled at my heart more so than Clay and Katie’s story.i had the hardest time putting this down once I started reading. I had to know what happens next. This is Gia and Hart’s story.Gia is one who doesn’t like to depend on others for help and that includes not only her personal life but her business as well. Hart finds himself in a situation that has him swearing off women. Until he meets Gia that is.The attraction these two have is incredibly hot! Can these two have a relationship with a HEA? I recommend reading this book especially if you are dying to know what happens with these two. I can’t wait for the third book in this series. As always I can’t wait to read more from this author.

AH! I will admit it, This book won my heart. I loved absolutely everything about this book. Hart and Gia are EVERYTHING!
K.G. Fletcher has a way of making the most real character’s I’ve read. Their emotions/feelings are completely relatable and I love how her stories have this kind of slow burn quality to them. Both Hart and Gia have their hang ups, which is totally understandable. Hart has this beauty about him as he supports Gia as she slowly heals. He is completely and utterly swoon worthy.
I have said it before and I’ll say it again, I love K.G. Fletcher’s writing. The stories are easily a one sitting read and you’ll fall in love with all the characters!

Georgia On My Mind is the second book in the Southern Promises series and it was so good. Gia and Hart are two broken people who find each other just at the right time and boy do the sparks fly. Hart and Gia might be a little sexier then Clay and Katie. Again I loved everything about this book, KG’s writing is so enjoyable that you don’t want to see her books ended.

Georgia on my Mind (Southern Promises #2) by KG Fletcher is the second book in the Southern Promises series and is one intensely passionate read. KG writes her characters with so much feeling that it makes them feel so real. I enjoyed reading this story as the plot unveiled itself with a few twists and turns along the way. My emotions were all over the place as the layers were peeled back to expose these raw and wonderful characters and to read about Gia’s early life was heartbreaking. KG keeps you captivated till the very end whilst making you feel a part of their lives.

Georgia On My Mind is the second book in the Southern Promises Series by K.G Fletcher. I am really loving this sweet, romantic series! The first book was sublime, but this book is even better! It is an erotic, funny, emotive, romantic, and really well written story that had me hooked right from the beginning. It was so easy to read and very easy to love. Gia and Hartford (Hart) are wonderful, complex characters that grabbed me immediately and pulled me into their story….. And what a really great story it is! Full of spicy, sexy details that sizzled off the pages- with secrets, lies, regrets, and drama- adding even more interest to this fabulous story. Hartford Parker is Katie’s brother (Georgia Clay Book #1) who has moved back to town after a scandalous situation left his life in tatters. He’s been house-sitting at his sisters’ home, while she is away on tour with her boyfriend, licking his wounds and trying to figure out his next move. He is a little lost and doesn’t know what to do to get back in ‘the game’. The last thing he expects is to have his drive and determination reawakened by an incredibly beautiful Marilyn Monroe impersonator. A simple cup of coffee with this stunning woman turns his world on end. The more he gets to know her, the more he wants to help her. She’s incredibly independent, but he’s determined to help her no matter how much she might object.
