Good Things Take Time: A Picture book about learning patience By Suzanna Lynn 5 Stars Very cute book! Loved the illustrations and storyline! Buddy is so adorable. This was read with my littles age 4, 3 and 1 yr old. My older 2 liked it and asked questions, the one year old liked to point at pictures in the book. One of the pages says “I knew I was different, but Momma taught me that God made me different, and that I’m special” I loved that part because I try to show my kids that being different is ok. Great read

Buddy is getting his forever home in this book. While he was down over not getting picked sooner than his siblings, he finally gets his home. He just needed to learn to be patient. Another great book on learning something that can hard for little ones to understand. Excellent wording and illustrations.

Buddy, the Blue Corgi, is spending his days playing with his siblings. One day they notice people talking to the farmer. They find out from their Momma that they will all be getting adopted. One by one his siblings find their forever homes. His Momma reminds him that he is special and his forever family will come he just needs to wait.
Another cute book in the Blue Corgi Series. Waiting is never easy but sometimes the rewards are worth waiting for. This cute book is a great way for kids to start to understand the concept.

This one made me a little teary. I get sensitive when it comes to animals feeling unloved. Buddy’s brothers and sisters get adopted before him which makes him feel like nobody wants him. His mom lets him know, it’s not his time yet, and Buddy immediately gets excited waiting for his forever family to come choose him, and when they do the moment is so sweet. The Bible reference here is perfect and really is beautiful when you think about it, you may think you are unworthy, unloved, or have no hope while waiting but God has plans specifically for you.

Good Things Take Time is the second book in the Buddy the Blue Corgi series by Suzanna Lynn. It is another sweet story that encourages patience- as waiting can be hard, and frustrating, but we need wait, and to trust that everything is going to plan and will turn out the way it’s meant to. The story comes with very cute, bright, colourful, and engaging illustrations that help to bring the story to life and reinforce the important messages. As with the first book, this finishes with a scripture passage that helps to reinforce the messages in this book.

Good Things Take Time is the second charming book in the Buddy the Blue Corgi series. My Grandsons were excited to be reading another adventure featuring Buddy. In this book Buddy the sweet Corgi is back to help children learn some life lessons in a fun setting. Buddy has not known anything other than the life he has now but that is all about to change as he and his brothers and sisters find themselves with new families. It is understandable that he has anxiety of the unknown and his mum once again helps him to settle. Follow along as Buddy finds a new home and a family who love him.

A really good book that I think my grand daughter will enjoy. Buddy was born looking different than his brothers and sisters and as they were finding their forever homes he thought he wasn’t going to find his.
Check out the story and I loved the pictures I think your little one will enjoy it too.

What a really wonderful story about Buddy’s adoption. It taught a precious lesson. All things are on God’s timeline. I have really enjoyed the Buddy story’s. The illustrations are colorful. The characters are entertaining and it’s a story that kids will enjoy. It also teaches a scripture. It’s a wonderful story to add to a family library.

Buddy and his siblings have grown, and it’s time for them to go to their forever homes. As families come to claim their new puppies, Buddy becomes anxious and worries that he will never get adopted. However, with a little encouragement from his momma, and a whole lot of patience, Buddy discovers that the difficulty of waiting is worth the reward.
Author Suzanna Lynn is a happily married, full-time mother of three beautiful, energetic children, and lives in a small town nestled in the deep rolling hills of Missouri.
Growing up in the Ozarks, Suzanna spent her childhood wandering the fields and woods surrounding her home. While most children avoided the dark corners of the woods, she sought them out; imagining them to be filled with fairies, dragons and all number of creatures.
Having not lost her childhood imagination, Suzanna has written numerous poems, songs and short stories that won various awards in high school and college. Her dream was to, one day, be an author.
In 2014 she decided to stop wishing she could publish a book and made the dream a reality when she released The Bed Wife.
That first novella gave birth to two more books, completing the series, and stirred the embers of her five-book series called The Untold Stories. She has since published stand alone novels, and has published several children’s books.
When she’s not busy writing, illustrating, or spending time with her family, Suzanna loves to travel, go horseback riding, and growing flowers. She also has been known to volunteer with her children’s school, the Ladies Auxiliary, and even her local zoo!
