I have to admit when I met Skye in the first book of this series I did not like her very much at all but of course as you get to know her in this book you truly grow to understand her so much better and she will weave her way into your heart. Gabe on the other hand I loved right from book one. These are two characters are definitely made for each other and while they both have demons to face and things to work out you will be hooked on their story and where it takes you right from the very start. This author has created wonderful characters that I am looking forward to getting to know even more as the series develops and a fantastic storyline filled intrigue, heart and steam!! Night Hawke (The Hawke Family Second Generation Prequel) by Gwyn McNamee – Review by Heather Bass

Night Hawke (The Hawke Family Second Generation #0.5)Night Hawke by Gwyn McNamee
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have read a few books from this amazing author. She continues to blow my mind on her writing style. This is the prequel to the next generation series of the Hawke family. I was so excited to get this story I stopped everything and started reading it immediately. I was so addicted it only took me a couple hours to read this amazing start to another amazing series.

Hawke just graduated law school and now he has to go into the family business. He has only one more night and he is going to make it count. Hawke spots this beautiful redhead that can’t keep her eyes off of him. He spends the night with the beauty but he never got her real name and when he wakes up she is long gone. Will he ever find her again or will he have to move on without her?

Supernatural Love Stories in the Absurd: Four Book Collection by Gwyn McNamee writing as D.P. Payne
My rating 4 out of 4 stars
I completely enjoyed this set of stories! Supernatural books are one one of my favorite genres and this did not disappoint.
I am thoroughly intrigued by the use of less common supernaturals such as the wending and a pharaoh, but surprised and pleased with how they worked into the story nicely. Cursed, the story of pharaoh Wyre was probably my favorite because I am always interested in ancient Egypt and mummies. I also really enjoyed Loched, because who would have thought the Lochness monster could turn into a hunky man?
All four stories are equally as nice, all are very sexy and have a wonderful story behind each curse or legend. I would highly recommend this for any supernatural romance lover. Very nicely done!

Building Storm (A Hawke Family Novel, #4) by Gwen McNamee – Review by Krystal Gaston

Building Storm: (A Hawke Family Novel) (The Hawke Family Book 4)Building Storm: (A Hawke Family Novel) by Gwyn McNamee
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Building Storm by Gwen McNamee is book 4 in the Hawke Family Series. This is Storms story, hopefully by this point you’ve already read Savage, Skye and Stones stories. Storms is no different it’s full of a story that makes you want to finish is right away, some drama, action and some major stress relief going on. The rest of the Hawke siblings and their spouses are present in the story as needed along with some new and old characters. Gwen McNamee had a unique writing style and I’ve come to love all her stories because they are always different, while the stories may feed off of the previous one in small aspects they are always their own story.
