This is the second book in the Fallen Hearts series. Phaedron is trying to save his brother Rowen, but he needs help. He enlists Alindra from the Kingdom of the Summer to help. He is not prepared for what is to come not only in finding Rowen but also he is not prepared for the feelings that come alive around Alindra. There are so many reasons for Phaedon and Alindra to stay apart. The story had me on the edge of my seat. This book has it all including dragons and an epic story. What more could you want?

A fantastic book full of adventure, intrigue, tension, emotions, spice, and so so very much more! This is another absolutely amazing enemies to lovers read that kept me turning page after page until I finished this. I genuinely couldn’t put this book down.
Our story revolves around Alindra, a magician that has spent her life trapped in the Kingdom of Summer, and who is absolutely desperate to escape, and will take literally any help she can get. Next is Phaedron, a man who will do anything, and work with anyone, (even his enemy) if it means saving his brother. What happens when the only salvation these two can see means working and traveling together? Take a moment to read this and find out!!!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Alindra is a magician for the Kingdom of Summer, she is young, talented and imprisoned, she is terrified for her life and she is desperate to get away, so she makes a plan to leave and packs a few belongings so that when she does leave, it won’t be obvious to start with. Phaedron is a man who has been through a lot, as a child he was sent to the Land Below with his mother, but it was to escape something worse than death, but that is when his challenges began and his losses, but he trudges on and tries to achieve his dreams, but this is not to be and when he loses his arm and then his brother.

Phaedron hatches a plan to go to the Kingdom of Summer and steal away a magician who will be able to help him rescue his brother, however, when he steps through the portal, it doesn’t go quite as expected. When the night comes that Alindra has prepared for, she is checking that she has got everything she needs when suddenly a portal opens in her tiny room and a man step through it, so when he asks her to go with him back through the portal, she is shocked, but she agrees. This is where every plan both have made shatters when the portal closes behind them, neither of them can believe what just happened, but Alindra immediately goes back to her plan A and hustles Phaedron out of her room and to another escape route promising that she will meet him the next day.

This is where the challenges soon begin again, as both travel to their last resort way to get away, this is where Phaedron explains about why he needs her to go with him, who has imprisoned his brother and where, he also asks Alindra why she wants to get away, so as they both lay out their truth, can they learn to trust each other enough to complete their missions, or will there be more challenges along the way and can they really trust each other, knowing they are on different sides of the same war? This is an adventure across kingdoms where opposites must work together, magic is everywhere and trust is hard to find, not to mention attraction and forbidden feelings, it is a heady mix you will not want to miss out on.

What another incredible book. I do have to say somehow, I missed book 2 so I will be going back to that but with that being said you can read these books on their own and still understand what is going on and not get lost or feel confused. The story is very well written that as your reading its almost like there is a painting going on in your head and you can see the world this story has to offer. The two characters especially Alindra and Phaedron, are in a whirl wind of stuff and it kicks off with hem right away on the run. Phaedron this time has a bit almost bigger role in this book, and we see things we are shown things from his side of the story. this book was both filled with romance, twists and turns, fantasy, paranormal, fantasy, and was well worth reading, even with missing the book in the middle.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Heart’s Escape by Meredith Hart is the 3rd book in a series of standalone crossovers called the Fallen Hearts Series. I would like to start by saying I have not read the other books in the series but was able to easily enjoy the story. I will be going back and reading the others at some point though because this one was a very fun read. The story follows Alindra a Magician from the Kingdom of Summer and Phaerdron who is from the Kingdom of Fall. This is a slow burn Enemies to Lovers and I was so hear for it. Alindra is desperate to escape the Kingdom of Summer and find her sister in the Lands Below. Phaedron shows up from a portal in her room desperate for her help to find his lost brother. If you like Fantasy with love and a dash of spice this is one for you. 4 out of 5 Stars.

This is the third book in the Fallen Hearts series. This book can technically be read without reading the first two books, but this may initially cause some confusion. I would highly recommend reading the first two books in the series before this one to better understand the story and character background.
The author’s descriptive writing paints vivid imagery of both the characters and scenery allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the world they have created. The detail and characters really bring the story to life. The characters feel realistic and I love good character growth and development and this book certainly has that. I loved how the relationship between Phaedron and Alindras developed and the pace it progressed worked so well for them and the story (even if there were moments of frustration from me wanting them to open their eyes occasionally).
I got very emotionally invested in the character and rooting for them from the start. I’ve been really enjoying this series, and I would recommend it to fellow paranormal fantasy romance fans!

A fantastic paranormal fantasy tale. This is the third book in the series. The adventure continues on with the oldest sister. I found it to be quite exciting and a journey of a lifetime. There was a little of everything in the story. It’s a story that is definitely worth reading.

Heart’s Escape is the third book in the paranormal fantasy Fallen Hearts series. This story is told my fav way of storytelling from alternating POV’s given us a much more in-depth view of who the characters are.
Meredith has once again intricately woven together an amazing tale that is well written. Her writing style paints a vivid picture of this unique and exciting world that has many characters. There are elves, dwarves, dragons, and strange shadow monsters.
They may be broken but they take charge and forge ahead in this action adventure that is full of violence, danger and unexpected developments that had me on the edge of my seat.
Two strangers from different worlds lost, desperate and secrets start these characters on a dangerous road. This journey is a steamy slow burn enemies to lover’s tale.
There is a lot going on in this fast-paced tale that is full of magic, fear, hate, danger, passion, desperation, hope, plots, portals, a touch of humour, banter, and spicy romance.
This exciting book will appeal to anyone who enjoys reading paranormal romantasy tales with dragons and supernatural beings. I cannot wait to read the next book in the series!

Heart's Escape (Fallen Hearts)Heart’s Escape by Meredith Hart
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Let me start by saying this is the only book in this series I’ve read. And I plan to go back at some point and read the others. Which could very well change what I’m saying now. But we shall see…
Well what’s there to say. Heart’s Escape was different. There were elements I enjoyed and others I didn’t. However, in saying that the parts I enjoyed and the way the author presented the story outweighed the parts I didn’t enjoy. Written in a duel pov the chapters go back and forth between the 2 main characters. Which I’m okay with. It flows, it works. It gives essence to the story. A girl on the run. A man that needs to be found. Alindra and Phaedron set out on a journey to achieve both those tasks.
Alindra, a Summer Kingdom magician, is planning to run. Leave the kingdom. This isn’t the place for her any longer. So it seems. What she didn’t expect was a portal to open up into the room and Phaedron to ask for her help. Before she could agree the portal spit him out and collapsed. She knew he had magic. Otherwise how’d he get there. She also knows he is from the Fall Kingdom. So what’s he doing here?
Phaedron needs a magician and the magician in his realm can’t be trusted. When he meets Alindra he is blown away. One by her beauty but also because she was so willing to help. But can she be trusted? He agrees to help her with her escape plan.
Well that escape plan goes all sorts of wrong and now they are on the run. Secrets ruin everything. So as secrets start to come to light it makes their adventure more interesting.
Does Alindra end up in the Fall Kingdom?
Does Alindra help Phaedron get his brother back?
Twists turns and obstacles, sometimes leading in a different direction. Which keeps the story intriguing! The character growth, at times hard to see in the end, worked out.
Do you like supernatural romances, with some mystery thrown in? If so, this story is for you! You will get a taste of all that and more. This may not be my go yo genre and I gave it a chance. A chance collectively hasn’t turned out too bad.

This book is part of a series that I have enjoyed reading. I enjoy this author’s writing skills which bring life to her stories. The use of details makes the story realistic. This book is no different. It is an enemies to lovers story that you don’t want to miss. A story where trusting, romance, and magic may not be what you are looking for but what finds you.. This is a well written story that is told in both sides of the characters. We get to see inside of both characters which just made the story harder to put down. I enjoyed how the characters pulled me into their world with ease and kept me there until the end. They are connectable, creative and relatable characters that add to the story’s entertainment value. They have great growth as well as great chemistry throughout. This is a fast paced story that I enjoyed reading. I highly recommend this book.

After reading Rowan and Arryn’s story and meeting Rowan’s brother Phaedron, I was hoping to get a book for him. Alindra has been through a lot, being a magician in the Kingdom of the Summer, a life altering secret and an escape plan foiled by Phaedron showing up in her room. Phaedron while searching for his brother stumbles upon Alindra and she agrees to help him find Rowan if he helps her flee her kingdom. Along the way Phaedron drove me absolutely nuts. I could tell Alindra really fell for Phaedron, but he was too stuck in his own insecurities about his arm that he couldn’t look at the woman who saw him for who he was. Rowan in this book really goes through the ringer, I am so sad to learn of his role in bridging the kingdoms, and how he was used by his own father. Even with an appearance altering injury he was still upbeat and fun loving. This has been such a wonderful series, very enjoyable.

Alindra spent her life trapped in the Kingdom of the Summer. Tonight, she’s escaping.

There’s only one place the Kingdom of the Summer won’t find her: the Lands Below, that frozen subterranean realm where long ago her king imprisoned the wicked Kingdom of the Fall. She’s ready to risk her escape alone, but the Lands Below come looking for her when a man named Phaedron opens a portal into her bedroom and claims he needs her magic to free his brother from a dragon.

It’s an insane story. She would have to be desperate to go with him.

But she is desperate. And she is going with him.

Phaedron thought losing his arm was the worst thing that could happen to him. Then he lost his brother.

When his brother agreed to use himself as bait to catch a dragon, Phaedron promised to find him. No matter what. Even if it means throwing himself through a portal, entering the palace of their enemies, and trying to convince a magician he’s never met to help him rescue someone from the kingdom they defeated and imprisoned centuries ago.

Everyone knows you can’t trust a magician, especially a magician from the Kingdom of the Summer.

But Phaedron doesn’t need to trust her. He just needs her magic.

Snarky, steamy, and fast-paced, Heart’s Escape is a slow-burn enemies-to-lovers adventure with dual point-of-view (his and hers). The last in a series of connected stand-alone novels, this epic tale of love and rescue ends with a hard-won Happily Ever After and is perfect for readers looking for a sprinkle of spice in their next swoon-worthy, passionate romantasy.
