Just One Song (Just One… Book 2)
Lynn Stevens is from a series and wow now I must read the first book! Lynn has done a fantastic job drawing me into the pages and keeping me in the flow of her writing. She does a fabulous job with her character build-up and making the story easy to read. I was so into following Cami’s character throughout the pages that are filled with romance and emotions like many young adult books do. But not all are able to keep you engaged and wanting to read more. I look forward to reading the first book in the series as well as this one again 🙂

Build-A-Book Workshop (The Literary Handyman 2)
by Danielle, Ackley-McPhail is an introductory book for folks that are wanting to go into self-publishing. This is a great book that teaches you about the layout process for a book. For warning, this isn’t a manual on how to create a book. I found this book very informative and interesting. I always enjoy expanding my knowledge this was a good choice.

She’s done a great job with character build-up as well as keeping a great flow throughout the story, Olivia is a great character who thinks she’s got everything in life setup. This is a very insightful read, Not my normal read but a good read none the less. If you’re older and retirement is in your near future this is a great read for you to get inspiration from. A great read for 50 + but I would say even younger folks could benefit from this read as well. Very impressed as I’m very picky about the self-help type books.

Alzheimer’s is a very difficult disease to watch someone you love struggle with this there are no words. I commend Cynthia Hamilton for doing research and piecing together her mother’s story I truly hope it helped her during her time of dealing with an emotional roller coaster.

Wow, This series has some great characters and a great storyline that flow together nicely to the next book. The writing style really brings some depth to the books. I couldn’t put them down. I like that the stories are coming from the characters. It was nice to read about the LGBTQ Community and see the struggles they deal with in relationships as well. I enjoyed the french setting and how the stories opened my eyes to the LGBTQ community even more.

What a great book, Pamela Fernandes has really captured how to draw someone into a book. This book had my emotions everywhere and had me turning the pages to see what was next. This book sheds light on adopted children and how they feel after a biological child has been born, sadly it also talks about how Trish was bullied because her adoptive parents were White and she was Korean. Great writing style and easy to read the story that tugs at your heartstrings. I look forward to reading more by Pamela Fernandes

Mountains wanted mountains trilogy By Phoebe Alexander “Sarah knows she and James don’t want the same things, but he’s still a mountain she can’t resist climbing.”

Not my usual genre but still a good read. This had strong sexual content so I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone younger. The book goes between inner dialogue and the storyline, Dr. Sarah and James are great characters 🙂 Looking for a steamy read that keeps you turning the pages to find out what happens next? This is your book! Keeping in mind this is one book out of the trilogy! Collect them all.

“When Xenobia arrived on Earth seven years ago she was given an opportunity to start over.”

What a great book! I couldn’t stop reding Xenobia is such a strong character. Mrs. Valkyrie does a wonderful job of making you feel like you’re there with the characters as the story unfolds. Her style of writing and word choices make it so you have the image in your mind as you read each page excited to see what happens next. I never pictured myself reading this style of book but boy was I wrong! I’ll be looking for more of Mrs. Valkyrie’s work to read.

“The almost-as-tall as me girl with the blue hair intrigued me. As is my normal practice, I’d give her one night, but that’s all. Except, I found, it wasn’t enough. I should have kept to my own rules, but I didn’t. I went back.”

This is my first book by Manda Mellet. This isn’t the typical book I would read, I thought it was a good book, though I read this as a stand-alone, I would recommend reading the complete series so you can follow the flow of the series. Briefly here is the setup of this book, Beth and Ink meet at the wedding. They agree to have one night together but they didn’t expect what would happen. Beth is opposite to Ink She doesn’t have a lot of men in her life whereas Ink isn’t a one-woman kind of man. Want to know more read the Series!
