Gianna has been given a job in Venice to repair a painting on the side of a family home. Upon arriving in Venice she begins having episodes unlike any other. She has begun to have visions of the past and possibly her past life. She is unsure of what she is experiencing until meeting Sergio who she feels an instant connection almost as if they have met before. Sergio is a descendant of the artist who painted the house which its third piece was left unfinished due to his death. Gianna is to find a way to restore the first 2 scenes and finish the third. While trying to decide what is to go in the third panel she is starting to fall for Sergio, who is the nephew to Francesca who hired Gianna and is staying in the same house while she is there. Will she be able to decide what the scene is supposed to show. Will reincarnations of the past finally have the happy ending they deserve or will history repeat itself. Amy McKinley has written such an amazing story that held my interest the entire time, I didn’t want to put the book down and definitely didn’t want it to end.

Next Door to a Star by Krysten Lindsay Hager – Review By Heather Knalls

Next Door to a StarNext Door to a Star by Krysten Lindsay Hager
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Krysten Lyndsay Hager has done it again. I absolutely loved this book. It is a young adult book about Hadley who is having a hard transition as her only friend has moved and has left her as an afterthought. She has decided to spend the summer with her grandparents where she meets new friends and the usual end of middle school into high school drama begins. Her grandparents live next door to a once tv star that is the same age as Hadley and they become friends and that where drama begins because she is not cool enough for the stars friends and they become jealous of her. It was such a well written book and I cannot wait to see what is in store for Hadley and her new friends.

Because of their chance run in Lillie has been kidnapped by an evil sorcerer hoping to gain even more power. To his surprise she is so much stronger than he could have ever thought. Lillie ends up in the Zayed village. What will come of her and the Zayed and the Evil sorcerer. The writing was so easy to follow and I didn’t want to put it down. Hoping for more with book 2.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Susan is a caterer that has been hired for the will reading at the Walker Farm after the grandfather passes away. She meets Eric the eldest son and is intrigued by him from their first meeting. They both have haunted pasts that have somewhat come to haunt them in their everyday lives now. All of the drama started before they were ever born and it is now being brought to light. Will everything play out as it should or will things come crumbling down. Can’t wait to read more and see what happens.

This mother/daughter duo did an absolutely amazing job with this book. Sasy is a school for paranormal children to learn about their abilities. Rooming a werewolf with a vampire, who would have thought that would work. They end up as best friends. This story is about children wanting to live up to their families expectations, what child doesn’t want that. I am hoping that they continue to write and make this a series. The book was amazing and I would love to learn more about these kids.

What a love story!

What a love story. Stone and Adeline were destined to be together. The story is set in gorgeous Verona Italy and you just want to fall in love from the start. From their first accidental meeting as she fell into his arms to the ending it keeps you on your toes. If only every love story could be like this. Lovers of the past broken apart only to be reunited again in another life. So intriguing and captivating.

Queen Of My Heart (Life Won’t Wait Book 1) by Nikki Lynn Barrett – Review By Heather Knalls

Queen Of My Heart (Life Won't Wait Book 1)Queen Of My Heart by Nikki Lynn Barrett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Anyone that loves a good love story should read this book. The relatability between Quinn and Tucker is amazing. To see two stars as a regular person in this book is just amazing. The story takes place in Nashville TN, place where I was born and raised and I was hooked. Quinn seems to be so relatable even though she is an actress wanting to change careers because we learn not everything is as it seems. Same with Tucker, like the saying goes don’t judge a book by its cover. Can’t wait to read more and see where these 2 end up.

In Over Her Head: Lights, Camera, Anxiety (The Cecily Taylor Series #2)In Over Her Head: Lights, Camera, Anxiety by Krysten Lindsay Hager
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Guys, what a way to end a series. I do hope Krysten decides to maybe write some more in the future so we see where Cecily and Andrew are, if Cecily’s modeling career takes off or even maybe where her grandmother is. But I have to say this book was absolutely amazing. I love Krysten’s writing and the way Cecily is living every girls dream. If you are looking for a dream come true book this is the book and the series to read, it was amazing.

Can Dreams Come True? (The Cecily Taylor Series) by Krysten Lindsay Hager- Review by Heather Knalls

Can Dreams Come True? (The Cecily Taylor Series Book 1)Can Dreams Come True? by Krysten Lindsay Hager
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Krysten Lindsay Hager has done an amazing job with book one in the Cecily Taylor series. For any one that has, had or will ever have a celebrity or rock star crush this is this book for you. The characters ate so relatable and the plot was amazing. I believe many people can relate to Cecily in his she feels misunderstood and kind of on the outside. If you are older the book will have you reminiscing of a time past and for the young adult reader it is a great coming of age story. Cecily will hit you right in the heart, she will have you falling for your celebrity/rockstar crush all over again. Can’t wait to see what is to come for Cecily.
