The Waydowns (The Cool Thing Series, #3) by Robert Rife Review by Heidi Woodring

And yet again Robert Rife blows me away. This book gives us horror, this book gives us comedy. I love how one second, I am laughing and the next I am gasping in disbelief. Rife has the knack to give us the best cliffhangers, the gore of the dark parts, and characters that have grown and make you want to read more about them each time they enter the storyline. While I love the original characters, we get some new ones that truly help make the story too. I think Rife gives us reasons to never by a house with the UFO underneath it and make sure your house is COMPLETELY empty. I would give more details but truly feel the readers have to dive in just like I did! WOW!

The Cool Thing: A Dark Comedy. Or Not. by Robert Rife Review by Heidi Woodring

An odd couple find a buried UFO and decide to make a little money off the discovery. This will lead them into a spiral of l situation that will make you laugh and make you gasp.

Forbiddenly Yours (Titans of Chicago Book 2) by Anise Storm Review by Heidi Woodring

Book two in the Titans of Chicago, Forbiddenly Yours, by Anise Storm simply is FIRE! Nicole and Callum simply light this whole book on fire. Nicole always the perfect everything, always had an image to uphold and when away on vacation in Costa Rica, she had a fling, A one night stand. Noah moves to Phillips Creek to get away from the media and Bijou has lived in Phillips Creek her whole life. Both feel the spark and months into their relationship the media finds Noah. Unexpected Heroes by Naomi Valkyrie Review by Heidi Woodring

I am normally not a huge fan of M and M books, but Unexpected Heroes by Naomi Valkyrie really changed that for me. I was not disappointed and was kept my toes and that alone kept the pages turning for me. The characters in this story are strong yet broken. Both main characters are so good and so much emotion inside of them make this is read one that will not disappoint.
Jude and Elijah will grab at your heart and your emotions. Add in Elijah’s son Griffin and you have an amazing story. While they both push each other way for many reasons, Jude will do is job when he sees his new neighbor and son are in danger.
I COULD NOT put this book down and can not wait to read more by the author.

The Predator Part One by Brooke May Review by Heidi Woodring

Brooke May is a new author to me and one that I will want to read again and again. The Predator is the first book in series, this second chance sports romance is an engaging book filled with drama, amazing characters (some you will love, some will make you want to scream) and sexy scenes that will make the read even hotter. KC and Chamberlain truly will grab you and will keep you wanting more and more if their story. Chamberlain gives KC “real Life” stuff that she never got growing up and then the EVIL Gwen comes along and tries to ruin so much for them. As you read, you want to know that he can fix it all, will her family let her have her life? And the cliff hanger that will leave you shocked and needing me more!!

Spirit Guide (Madame Chalamet Ghost Mysteries #3) by Byrd Nash Review by Heidi Woodring

Byrd Nash has done it again!!! Spirt Guide is the third book in the Madame Chalamet Mysteries series, and again a book that I could not put down. Elinor and Tristian are again needing to work together. Girls are missing and, in the city, where ghosts are real, anything is possible. Seeing Elinor grow with her ability in each book truly makes that much more of an impact. Also seeing the connection with Tristian, her duke, grow makes the read so much more too.
Byrd Nash again shows us her writing style is amazing and the world she has created is so vivid. As a reader I want to be able to close my eyes and see the characters, see the world created and I can when I sit and read this series. You are given so much from twists and turns, to ghosts, and also Elinors quest to find her dads killer! WELL DONE and can not wait to read the next I the series.

Irresistible Bond: Central Florida Stories by Victoria Saccenti Review by Heidi Woodring

Irresistible Bond by Victoria Saccenti is book 5 in the Central Florida series and another very good read. Storm, Barrington, and Marcus bring so much into this book, and the HEAT truly is steamy with them. Storm running from them feeling she did not belong in their world, but when they get word, she is back, they want to claim her. They want her safe, they want her to heal. They want to love her fully. This was another story that I wanted to go on and on. The author was a way of fulling you into the story. The twists and turns, the passion. This book has it all. HIGLY recommend this steamy book and highly suggest reading all the books in the series.

Homicidal Innocence By V.J.Lee Review by Heidi Woodring

Homicidal Innocence by VJ Lee is unlike anything that I have ever read and need to stay for an author to write a book like this, truly has TALENT. The twists and turns leave you shocked and through all this you are in the mind of a child killer. Every character is so complex from Maya, the sweet nurse, to Detective Cole Silverthorne who is hard as nails and John the nerdy neighbor who knows more than he is letting on. You dive into this story that leaves you at the edge of seat and not wanting to stop reading because you HAVE to know WHO the killer is.

THIS IS SIMPLY a great read that you will not put down, and I know I want to read more by this author because WOW, my mind was blown!

When Teds sister comes to town with his niece, Stephanie is the one person he needs to help. Can these two get past what they need to find each other?

Moonlight Drive By A.R. Hadley Review by Heidi Woodring

Dani and Nick were friends and now he has made it as a rock star, and Dani has the chance to join the tour as a groupie. She wants him to remember her and he does not, which upsets Dani. Through out the book we see so many different stages of Nick and Dani’s life and just how much the friendship meant to each as they grew. This read was a journey, a journey of 20 years, but In the end, does Dani and Nick find what they are looking for?
I loved this book and enjoyed the main and the supporting characters. I found the book full of emotions, grit, secrets, and addiction. I recommend this book and be prepared to smile, cry, and get frustrated! But I promise its worth it!!!

While yes, it is in a series you can read as a standalone. The other parts are now sitting on my kindle and ready to read! Nadia Han is also a new author to me, and one I now want more of. The character building, the slow start, the building of the intense feelings with the character all make for an amazing read!

Sugar and Spice by Phoebe Alexander is the first book in the Spicetopia series and one I did NOT want to put down. I could read any book by this author and NOT be disappointed. The characters are so developed, the story line intriguing, and just as the title says, a little bit of sugar and a little it of spice. Charlotte’s Control (The Control Series) by Maggie Sims Review by Heidi Woodring

Charlottes Control by Maggie Sims is a wonderfully written age gap that I could not put down. Charlotte is the older in the book, which is something I have not read much of, so it made it that more a good read to me. Willaim is an amazing character that truly grabbed at me as soon as I opened the book. There is something about him that I don’t think I will forget anything soon, there is a sweetness about him that is enduring.
