Hell In A Handbasket (Life is Hell #3)Hell In A Handbasket by Naomi Valkyrie
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Every single book so far in this series is nothing short of amazing. Every book has been a 24hr read and this one was no different.

This is my first MM romance novel and it was so sweet. I love following Oren and Tievel’s story.

Tievel is the hardened heart demon who is angry at everyone and every witch for a past lover’s death.

Oren is a newly found Demon Hunter that is still trying to figure out his past and now his future.

And there is a baby Dragon 🐉

This is the most adorable enemies-to-lovers romance story that I will suggest to anyone who wants a cute quick read.

Oren and Teivel are shockingly perfect for each other. Even if they are supposed to be “mortal” enemies, that aren’t so mortal. I love their connection and chemistry. This book is a real page turner. I fall more in love with this series with every book.

Hell in a Handbasket is the third novel in the Life is Hell series by Naomi Valkyrie. In this novel it’s Teivel and Oren’s story. Valkyrie knows how to write paranormal novels that hook you from the beginning. This novel can be read as a stand-alone, but after reading it, you’ll want to read the first two. I recommend this novel for anyone interested in reading.

I just absolutely loved this book and I am so invested in this series. This is Teivel and Oren’s story and you do meet them in the 1st two books. At first, I was not sure about Teivel, he is brash, but I fell in love with his character in this book. Oren and Teivel should not be together, since one is a demon hunter and one is a demon, but they couldn’t be more perfect. The “bundle of joy” so to speak, was surprising, in a good way. I also love how Author Naomi Valkyrie continues this series and includes the other characters in the books as well. It is truly like one big paranormal family and I am so all in! If you love paranormal with some mystery and romance…definitely check this series out and I recommend you reading them in order! Happy reading!

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I loved being back in Juniper Lake and book three in the ‘Life is Hell’ series focuses on Teivel and Oren’s romance. I have thoroughly enjoyed the previous books in this original series by Naomi Valkyrie and this is another great addition to the series. I love the main characters, bitter tracker demon Teivel Tynan and Demon Hunter Oren, but I also like ‘catching up’ with characters from the previous books. Teivel is in Juniper Lake to help his ex but he’s also very attracted to his ex’s deputy, Oren. Teivel’s fear of loving again, his baggage and the fact that Oren is a Demon Hunter and he’s a Demon are all complications to Teivel and Oren having a relationship. However, when they are forced together to get to the bottom of a mystery and save life’s when a mysterious baby is left on Oren’s doorstep the pair develop a connection, making Teivel believe that a relationship just might be possible after all. The authors wonderfully detailed world building really brings the setting of Juniper Lake alive, making me feel fully immersed in Teivel and Oren’s world. The descriptive narrative and unique characters all add to the overall storyline and ensured that I was hooked from page one. This is a fairly fast paced and exciting read and once I started reading I just could not put the book down.

This is Teivel and Oren’s story. These two have it bad for each other but Oren is a demon hunter and Teivel is a demon. We all know how that goes. Teivel wants to train Oren but gets distracted by a request to locate a dragon. He closes up his apartment, lets his imp goes and pops into Delilah’s house (and forgets to tell Oren). Oren is pissed that Teivel never showed but puts it to the side because he found a bunch of his grandfather’s hunter papers and journals. These two, and their ragtag group of friends, end up helping to solve the dragon mystery, locate missing friends and help Oren learn who he is. The camaraderie is endearing because even being paranormal, its regular friendship. The surprise toward the end of the book is the best part. It will take you by the feelings. Have tissue. Love this series.

Unlike the first book this third book is really tame. I enjoyed it though. It had a different pace and it was nice getting Teviel point of view on things. He starts out as a hard person with a ton of walls up, but slowly you start seeing him open up when Oren doesn’t take his crap and call him out on his toxic crap.
My heart broke for little Jeri. I wanted to take him away from the writer and just protect him! I hope we get to see more of him soon!
I still have so many questions about Cas!!!! I hope he gets his own book too! I can’t wait for more!!!

This book didn’t disappoint and I’m in love with all the characters and the writing style of Naomi Valkyrie. This is Oren and Teivel’s story. I feel like I’m part of their group and can’t wait to find out what’s going to happen next. What kind of bad guy we get to fight and who we are protecting this go ‘round. Four Stars
The third book in the Life is Hell series and in my humble opinion so far the very best of them. And that is saying a lot as I LOVED book one. I have not ever really cared for paranormal genres but this series does not disappoint at all.
Oren and Teivel are awesome characters and they will quickly capture your desire to keep learning more and turning pages. This book can be read as a stand alone just like all the books but you should start from book one as each book builds on the others as well.

Another hit by Naomi Valkyrie.  I really enjoy this series.  I love reading books that shows even demons can have a heart.  The story of Oren and Teivel was a fun read.  Their journey to finding love was special.  I think the two of them fit together nicely and I enjoyed going on their journey to finding each other.  This is an excellent series.  I look forward to reading more from Naomi Valkyrie.

I give Hell In A Handbasket (Life Is Hell Book 3) by Naomi Valkyrie, 5 stars.

If you have not read this series yet, you need to pick it up! The story continues in book 3 and this one is just as good as the rest. All of the characters are unique and interesting, but this time the focus is on two previously secondary characters, Oren and Teivel. The dynamic between these two characters is great. Oren really struggles to find who he really is while at the same time he’s both frustrated and attracted to Teivel. Teivel has essentially closed himself off feelings-wise. This has been hinted to in previous books, but now we find out why. The author does a wonderful job on his back story — I really understand him so much better now.

But this not just about the two of them — there is the tracking job Teivel is sent on, which turns out to be much more complex than he ever imagined. Then there is the baby dropped on their doorstep. In other words, there is so much going on in this book and the author weaves everything together seamlessly, making for such an intriguing take.

If you are a fan of paranormal romance/urban fantasy with strong characters and a little on the darker side, this book and series are for you.

Hell In A Handbasket (Life is Hell #3)Hell In A Handbasket by Naomi Valkyrie
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the 3rd book in the Life is Hell Book 3 and I loved it just as much as the first 2. This has got to be one of my favourite authors. The characters are great and so well written that you can’t help but cheer their wins and cry at their defeats.

This story follows Oren  and Teivel.

Oren is a demon hunter but with no training he doesn’t know how to used his skills. He is frustrated and confused and madly in love with Teivel.

Teivel is a demon, he has a checkered past and isn’t on for relationships and settling down however that changes as he realises his feelings for Oren are growing and changing.

Add to this story a baby left on the door with magic powers, someone trying to capture magical beings and our gang of friends trying to bring them down and protect everyone they love and it is a gripping story from start to end.

This is the third book in the life is hell series written by Ms. Valkyrie. I simply loved this fast pace short story and story line. The characters are well written and play off each other quirks is awesome.

The gang is back but this time Oren and Teviel are the main characters and they are attractive to each other but there is one problem Oren is a Demon hunter where as Teviel is a Demon can they over come this obstacle and have a happily ever after or will they stay away from each other to stay safe.

You will need to read this amazing book…

This is my favorite book in this series so far. I love all the characters in the series. This one focuses on Owen and Teivel. This story had me on the edge of my seat and there were some unexpected twists I didn’t not see coming. I have become completely invested in these characters and this story line. It is my suggestion that you read this series in order for a better understanding of all the characters we get to know. We have gotten introduced to some new characters in this book and I am so thrilled that we did. This author does an excellent job pulling me into a story of magic, danger, love, friendship and so much more. The author sends me on an adventure with every book I have read by her. I highly recommend this book.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the third book in the ‘Life is Hell’ series and I couldn’t be more ecstatic to be reading more of Naomi’s fabulous writing! Since falling into this series it has really been a wild ride.
The series started with Delilah moving into a small town and falling into the hearts of Malakhi and Caspian then goes into depth about Sheridan and Millicent’s sweet tale and then enters Teivel and Oren. I really enjoyed the first book ‘No rest for the wicked’ and the second book ‘Hell hath No fury’ stole my heart but this book…well it grabbed me by the front of the shirt and wouldn’t let me go.
I found Oren so easy to love, much like Millicent. He’s gentle, sweet, caring and I love reading his internal thoughts about being attracted to Teiven. Teiven is a demon and is easy to hate but still wanting more from him. Meshing these two fire crackers together… I never knew how badly I needed their chaos in my life.
I found this series to be so entertaining and I can’t praise it enough. The characters are a work of art, the writing is divine and I want more!

Hell In A Handbasket is the third book in the Life is Hell series by Naomi Valkyrie. I will say this although these can be read as standalones I however would highly recommend reading this series in order as each book the characters build and you get to learn more about them plus the stories flow so nicely. Its funny how just a couple of years ago I wouldn’t have even given any kind of Paranormal books a second thought. Im so glad I took a chance on one because its become one of my favorite genres. This author continues to simy amaze me with her attention to detail and her characters are amazing to. I’ve read all of the books this author has read to date and this one is by far my favorite. This is a story packed with action, mystery, twists, and some m/m romance. This is a story about Teviel a Demon and a Oren Demon Hunter. What do you think would happen if a Demon and a Demon Hunter were to have a relationship? Find out what happens next in this must read. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

Hell In A Handbasket (Book Three of the Life Is Hell series) by Naomi Valkyrie was a great read! The paranormal misfit family is back! Or at least I see them as a bunch of paranormal misfits that shouldn’t work out together but for all intents and purposes they do. Each book in this series I think gets better and better. I enjoy learning about more of the characters through each book in this series. This book had me laughing with the funny antics of Larkspur. I can’t wait to read more of him in the next book! I love the inclusivity of this series as well. This is quickly becoming a favorite! I can’t wait for the next installment!

WOW! Prepare yourself for this Paranormal Romance. So many things going on, it will need your full attention. Not really! But really.
This is another visit to Juniper Lake and the paranormals who live there. Right under the noses of the humans. Welcome to Teivel and Orens story. Here we have a Demon and a Demon Hunter working together, hanging out and well, making this book come to life. Can this work for Teivel and Oren? Can two hurt people open their hearts and find what they are looking for? Only reading this book can answer that question. This could be a standalone story, but I recommend you start with Book 1.

Naomi Valkyrie has captured my heart again. Her story is well written and leaves nothing out. I have fallen completely in love with the characters and love the prankster pixie. I laughed and cried, sometimes both throughout this story. I love this series and can’t wait to read book 4. Well Done Naomi Valkyrie! Well Done!

Hell In A Handbasket (Life is Hell #3)Hell In A Handbasket by Naomi Valkyrie

Hell In A Handbasket (Life is Hell Book 3) by Naomi Valkyrie. This is the 3rd installment in the Life is Hell series and its just as good as the 1st and 2nd if not better. I love Naomi Valkyrie so anything she writes I try to read. Its still set in Juniper Lake that seems so serene and peaceful but is anything but that. This is the story of Oren and Teivel who we met in the previous books but not much was told about them. Oren is a demon hunter who turns to demon Teivel for help in his training. He has tried to find anyone but Teivel but couldn’t come up with anyone else. This ends up being a mess for Oren because he is still a little new to the idea of being a Hunter and he also find Teivel a little attractive! The two have chemistry for days! This story is full of danger, mystery, family and romance. You won’t be able to turn the pages fast enough. Do yourself a favor and read them in order. You will be so glad you did!

Each time she will captivate you into her world of fantasy, drama, mystery, suspense, romance & action, you will never ever be bored! I love the depth she gives to this quaint town and the way she has you on the edge of your seat with anticipation, this read is everything and more. While part of an epic series, this read can be read as a stand-alone but I promise you, you will not want to miss the previous two! Oren & Teivel’s story just tops it all off with their incredible connection and undeniable chemistry! These books immerse you into an incredibly vivid story that you never want to leave. Valkyrie continues to impress me greatly with the care she takes in crafting each book and creating a world that you dive headlong into and feel part of. Because of the character development that carries over, even though these books stand well on their own, I cannot stress how much more enjoyable the reader will find the experience if taking it in series order. Quite frankly, with Valkyrie’s gifted pen, I’m not sure anyone wouldn’t rush to pick up the rest if they started out of order. Regardless, the character development and world building in this book were fantastic. If you fancy not-your-average paranormal romp, this book is most definitely for you. I know these characters are dear to the author for the care she took in each page. And that care made me care. Masterfully done! I cannot wait to read the next book!

This can be read as a standalone book but would be much better enjoyed read with the other books in the series. The characters have grown and changed as the series has progressed. I really enjoyed this book and the stories keep getting better and better. This book focuses on the character Tievel. At first, I wasn’t overly excited because I wasn’t fond of him, but now that I have gotten to know him better I am a fan. The author gives a fantastic story and made me see how he fits into the greater storyline. I look forward to reading more in this series soon as each book sucks me in more and more.

This is the third installment in this series and probably my favorite so far. It can be read as a stand-alone but the series is so good, you should read them all. Each book keeps getting better. We’ve met Tievel in the previous books and he was always an arse. I’m happy to see that there is more to him than just attitude. This story revolves around him and Oren. Oren really evolves quite a bit as well. By the end of the book, it was good to see how much confidence he gained.

The story is well written and there is enough action to keep you interested. I love the characters and enjoy reading about their escapades. The author does an excellent job of taking things from the first two books, which you think are unimportant, and tying them into this story. I have followed this author from her first book and her writing keeps getting better. Who would have thought that a demon and a demon hunter could fall in love?
