Her Blackened Heart (The Blackened Series Book 2) by Isra Sravenheart was a great continuation to the first book. I really enjoyed the story, the perspective felt really original. I love Lady Isra and Astrid, they’re such unique characters. So much happens but it is well organized and easy to follow. I loved all the twists and turns.

This book was told from Astrid, Lady Isra’s loyal raven companion’s point of view. Evilerada is out to get what’s all good about Isra and she won’t stop until she succeeds. This book is packed with action, suspense, very entertaining, and unpredictable. Unbelievable tale of resilience, friendship, and determination: Full of action from each sector. Great read!

Her Blackened Heart is the second book in The Blackened Series by Isra Sravenheart. As with the first book, this is quite an original story- again with a bit of a fairytale-esque feel to it. But again, it stands apart from other ‘fairytale’ type stories in that it is all about the ‘villain’. It is a fantasy- full of magic, a powerful dark witch, revenge, power struggles, spells, witches, loves, good vs evil, danger, rivalry, and some adventure.
We once again join Lady Isra, a powerful witch- with a bit of a black heart, and Astrid the raven/man, Isra’s loyal companion. But, with other characters to add some intrigue and drama- there’s never a dull moment. And we may just get to discover that even the darkest souls can find the light.
I did enjoy this book more than the first- and am intrigued by what is yet to come.

You will definitely want to read the first book in the series before reading this one.
I love this series because it’s such a refreshing but dark twist on a fantasy book that has witches, danger, love, adventure, and so much more all rolled into one. Lady Isra is back at it causing problems, having set her eyes on a good witch Contessia to make her stray from all the goodness she believes in. The characters Miss Sravenheart shares in this book keep your attention and help you relate to them.

I enjoyed this fantasy story. This is the second book in this series which I highly suggest reading the first book to help you get to know the characters better. One thing I enjoy about the author is her attention to detail and her ability to write a story that pulls me in from the beginning. This story is no different if not better. Lady Isra is back in this story. There is alot going on in this story that you don’t want to miss. The twists and turns in this story will keep you turning pages as it reveals revenge, suspense and even some romance. I enjoyed reading this book as it is fast paced and entertaining. I highly recommend this book and this author.

The book Her Blackened Heart (The Blackened Series Book 2) by Isra Sravenheart is a story that I loved reading. It has witches, magic, and danger. Lady Isra is up to her old self. She is a dark witch and her actions show this. She wants to lead Contessia, a good witch who believes in love and light, astray. There is also a war that has begun against a known foe, Everilda. What does the future hold for Contessia and Everilda? Will Lady Isra’s plans succeed? Read this book to find out. This is a story that is wonderfully written. It is exciting and entertaining. Once I started the book, I didn’t want to put it down until the final page. Another interesting character and part of the story is Lady Isra’s raven companion. The author does a wonderful job of taking you into a land of fantasy where you never know just what will happen next. The characters and the storyline come alive and I found myself lost in the pages. Don’t miss out on this amazing fantasy book. I highly recommend reading it.
