Hero High: Heartbreak Rebellion (Hero High Collections Book 2) by Mina Chara – Review by Katie Kearney

Hero High:: Heartbreak Rebellion (Hero High Collections Book 2) by Mina Chara. I’m a sucker for box sets it’s just a great way to one be introduced to new authors and two have the books back to back. This series has completely pulled me in from the very beginning. The characters are complex and relatable, the storyline smooth and engaging. The author does a wonderful job of writing even the smallest of details out enough that the story comes alive for the readers. Each book takes you on an adventure you won’t be forgetting anytime soon. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. The characters are complex and pull you into their story world and you’ll have fun getting lost in the pages for a while. Four stars and highly recommended.

Hero High is one of those series that pulls you in and the story flies by and is over before you know it! I have read each of the books and the storyline just keeps building…and I feel like there is still parts of the story that haven’t been told.

This book picks up with Friday waking up from her coma. She is thrust right back into the show with a new love interest…all while still sorting through everything that happened to her and her unresolved feelings for Ashley. Now, however, Friday is being forced into situations that make her uncomfortable, and even sick to her stomach, under the guise of increased popularity and becoming a Hero. When she is confronted with the truth of what is going on behind the scenes…and is forced to question what is real and what is made up for ratings…everything she thought she knew is not as it seems.

I enjoyed this book because, as the story progressed, Friday grew up and starting becoming more aware of conflicting way she feels about being manipulated. She still has bouts of immaturity, but she definitely grew up a lot in this book. She was forced to make tough decisions that I don’t think she would have been capable of making before this book. I hope there is more to her story because I have enjoyed watching her story evolve and if feels like it isn’t over yet!

Heartbreak Rebellion (Hero High, #4)Heartbreak Rebellion by Mina Chara
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Hero High: Heartbreak Rebellion by Mina Chara is the second book in the Hero High Collections. This is a brilliant collection of books that will grab your attention and simply not let go. This is books 4-6 in the series so I would definitely recommend reading the others ones first.
I think the author has done an amazing job of creating such a strong and interesting series. Each of the books are great in their own right, resulting in an overall amazing series. The characters are all so well written and you really do engage with them. It is so easy to picture them all as if you are right their alongside them.
Each of the stories in these books kept me interested for different reasons. They are clearly part of the same series but all have a slightly different feel about them. It helped to keep them separate in my mind while also keeping them cohesive and flowing well. This is a brilliant series and if you are a fan of this genre I would high recommend them!

5 out of 5 stars

I loved reading Hero High: Heartbreak Rebellion (Hero High Collections Book 2) by Mina Chara. It is a collection of stories that pulled me in, and I was hooked. Friday Fitzsimmons is back, and I just love reading about her. In these stories, she shows her emotional side as well as her strong side. Secrets are uncovered and a school needs to be saved. What will happen? Read this book to find out. This is a story that has action and danger. I was on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next. The author does a wonderful job of making both the storyline and the characters come alive on the pages. Many additional characters are in the story. Some of them are helpful and then there are those with an evil agenda. Will they be stopped? Friday is a character that I have grown to love as the read this series and I can’t help but want her to be happy. She is also a character that I could root for her to succeed in all that she does. Don’t miss out on a collection of stories that you will not want to put down until you have read the final page. I highly recommend both these stories and the entire series.

Hero High: Heartbreak Rebellion (Hero High Collections Book 2) by Mina Chara – Review by Bobbi Wagner

This is books 4 – 6 of this series.  I have enjoyed this series from the beginning.  It is great to see that they become a collection.  They are fast paced stories that are full of romance and action.  Friday’s stories continue in each book of this collection.  She makes such a great strong character and just makes the story for me.  I had no problem connecting to the characters as they bring the story to life.  They made the story easy to read and kept it engaging.  I highly suggest reading the first three books to help build the enrichment of this series.  I highly recommend reading this collection to find out what happens to Friday next.
