That ending is just cruel! Love, love, love this whole series. Please read the books in order or at least read Cruel Start before this one. Phoenix and Aspen had me tangled in knots. Aspen’s character is amazing and is exactly what Phoenix needs. The angst is off-the-charts in such a good way. Just prepare yourself for the ending – ugh – how I despise cliffhangers. Now the waiting game begins for Cruel Love. Highly recommend!!

I threw caution to the wind and my v-card at the one man I can’t stand. What did that get me? Pregnant.
Now, we’re both screwed. Mr. Superstar wants the punt bunnies off his back. I want my parents off mine. To do that, he proposes a fake relationship. But I know the truth… Spending time with him can only lead to trouble.
After all, neither of us has an answer to the biggest problem of all.
How fake can it stay when he’s the father of the child I’m carrying?
Cruel Hate is an enemies-to-lovers, fake relationship, new adult, sports romance with pregnancy and plenty of angst. This book contains mature content that some readers may find disturbing. It is not a standalone and does end in a cliffhanger that continues with a ton of heat and a HEA in Cruel Love.
Isla Vaughn is the author of the Hidden Valley Elite series. Her romance books are full of complex characters, strong alpha males, and the fierce women who bring them to their knees. When not writing, she can be found daydreaming about owning a beach house, reading, or drinking too much coffee. You can find her atwww.IslaVaughnAuthor.com

I accidentally read these out of sequence so I definitely recommend reading them in order. I enjoyed this book, it tells the story between Aspen and Phoenix mainly but includes Shane and Tracey too. Can Aspen an Phoenix work through their differences? Can’t wait for the next book! Its a cliffhanger!

I have read every last one of the Hidden Valley Elite Series and each and every one is better than the last. I cannot recommend reading these enough. This is a series where it helps to read each one in order however. This book continues Damon and Sky’s story. Book 3 left me wanting so much more of their story. This book gives us everything – drama, spice, tension. Isla Vaughn’s story telling is unmatched and her character development is excellent. Each of her characters is flawed but in a realistic way. Damon and Sky have the epitome of a love hate relationship. Its the type of relationship that has you reading each page wondering which way the scale is going to tip. Is it going to end very poorly for them, or are they going to have a fantastic relationship? I am absolutely waiting on pins and needles for the next book in this series.

This book is an amusing quick read. It sets you up for the new series and gives you a glimpse of what is to come. It draws you in from the start and doesn’t let you go even when it finishes. This book has me wanting more and more. The writing grips your attention and the story line keeps you turning pages. This book also kinda piggy backs iff of the Elite Series by this author. It deals with the siblings that have been around but not prominent and now they are. If you like everything tied up with a pretty bow then this not the book to read at the moment. You will want to wait till you have time to read the next book as you are left with a cliffhanger. I am normally not a fan of those but this book just spoke to me and I can’t wait to see what happens. This is a must-read for anyone and especially those that have read the Elite Series.

Brutal Nights is my favorite book out of the Hidden Valley Elite Series so far!!!
The story opens right where it left off in the first book with a MAJOR cliffhanger. Now, Damon and Skylar will have to face the consequences of their decisions that not only affect others but affect themselves. Both of them will need to explore their very COMPLICATED feelings for each other.
As expected, there are horrible things done and said to Skylar in the aftermath, and her relationship with her best friend, Gia, is in tatters. I kept hoping that Gia would have a hard look at herself and accept her part in everything that happened. No spoilers here, you will have to find that out yourself. With all the complexities that happened, you would think this would make Damon and Skylar stay away from one another, but it only draws them closer. The two come up with another arrangement because the first one worked out so well, but this one has the potential to really allow them to get to know one another and become a real couple.
There was some angst between them and some back and forth, but all in all, they didn’t push each other away. They actually became friends, of course with benefits, but there were some really tender moments between them when they each let their walls down and trusted the other.
I enjoyed seeing the softer side of Damon and discovered that a lot of the things he did were to protect himself from becoming what he perceived his father to be and that impacted his feelings for Skylar.
“The noose tightened around my throat. If I told her how much I cared about her and thought about her constantly, she would gain too much power. And unequal power in a relationship was a very bad thing–it struck a chord that pointed at what my dad held over my mom.” ~DAMON
I was happy to see that Vaughn delved deeper into his complicated relationship with his father and stepmom. There was some real progress made there. I’m glad that Vaughn included that in the book because it played a huge role in Damon’s character.
Skylar was just a great all-around character. I loved her in the first book, but Vaughn showed a more vulnerable part of her, and she just illustrated how loyal she was, especially in regard to Gia. As with Damon, I saw why she felt like she did towards athletes, but she learned you can’t always lump one group of people together. You have to see them as individuals, not what you label them as.
“Damon was becoming a human being rather than just what he represented–an athlete. The thought alone should have made me run away, but it didn’t.” ~SKYLAR
I have loved every book in this series, but this one is my favorite and a 5-star read!!! Vaughn blended together so many components that make a book so good…angst, spice, a little bit of humor in a dark romance, and real emotion. Can’t wait for the next book in the series.

Amazing Series! Damon and Sky are my favorite characters so far. There is so much emotion just jumping off the pages, leaving you instantly hooked and wanting more. I don’t know how this series can get better and better with each book but it does. You won’t be disappointed in this book it has everything you could want in a romance book. I can’t wait to read the next books have in store for us.

Once again I had to read more of her books. Isla Vaughn has become my favorite author. The characters are amazing each story has a different unique love and hard-core drama. I definitely recommend this series to anyone, it is easy to follow and there are a lot of turns and twist in her series. It is hard to choose which character in her series I love the most. So far all of them.

As always, and I will say this every time, please check trigger warnings. Your mental health is more important. This is a short (to me) novella but it wraps up Skylar and Damon’s story. You should really read from the beginning of the series to really get a feel for everyone and the atmosphere. Once again this author really hits with emotions and feelings. They have not let me down yet and I truly love this series. I can not wait to see what the remainder will bring. Review by @michellerenee6590

OMFG!!! This series. So we pick up where we left off. Sky and Damon have been found out and now must deal with the fallout. Damon doesn’t put up with much from Gia when it comes to hurting Sky. Damon tries to figure out his own feelings. When secrets from the past threaten Sky, her mom’s best answer is to leave. Damon will do just about anything to prevent this from happening including asking his father for help.
There is not a dull moment in this book. From the moment we pick the story up to the moment it ends, the author puts you through all the emotions. Damon finds out why Sky is so reluctant to give up on her friendship with Gia, despite all the drama Gia causes. Sky finally remembers the night she got her scar. So many memories. So many emotions!
This addition to the series does not let you down. As more is revealed about Damon, his father, their relationship, Sky, her mom, Sky and Damon, you realize you are no longer just missing your friends when the book ends. It is more like missing your family. The characters make you feel like you are part of their clan, one of them. This is the best series. Maybe ever. Love it.

This is the 4th book of the hidden Valley Elite Series if you haven’t read the first three book I highly suggest you do so and not just because it’ll help you get a better understanding of what’s happening but because they are brilliantly created and amazing reads🥰 you’ll easily binged read them. This one continues with Damon and Skylar stories and the series of unfortunate events following Gia and everyone finding out about them. Get ready for another emotional ride 🤣 Waiting patiently for the next book 😭🥰

Brutal nights is book four in Isla Vaughns Hidden Valley Elite series. This story is part two for Sky and Damon. And let me tell you I am allllll about this couple. This story has some crazy ups and downs. There was so much going on but it was so well written and felt like it flowed perfectly. I am so invested in this series. This is it, the worst thing that could happen for Sky and her mom. So much for the easy Senior year she hoped for, she’s pretty much lost everything. But Damon is determined to keep her safe. Even if it means admitting his feelings. Scary. I loved the ending, it truly brought everything together and satisfied all my questions. I cannot wait to start the next book.

Brutal Days is book three in Isla Vaughns Hidden Valley Elite series. Oooooo man this is messy. And I couldn’t stop reading it. Gia was bleh and I just wanted to smack some sense into her. But I can definitely remember some girls that were just like her in high school. I was obsessed with the chemistry between Sky and Damon, the sneaking around was hot and the slowly falling for each other even though they deny it… but Sky did her friend dirty and that I didn’t care for. Damon is kind of a jerk and by kind of I mean really he is. BUT THAT ENDING. While I definitely called it, it was still a way to end it. Alright girl, I’m hooked, let’s go.

Brutal Nights by Isla Vaughn is the 4th book in the Hidden Valley Elite Series. It is the 2nd book of the Damon and Sky Duet. The stakes in this one are even higher and the spice is 10 out of 10. If you like angst and tension this one is for you. This book is action packed and has an HEA.

This is the fourth book in the Hidden Valley Elite series and can I just say wow! You don’t have to read the first two books and the prequel in order to read this one, but I definitely would, because you get to see more of the characters and their history. That being said, you do need to read Brutal Days as it’s the start of Damon and Skylar’s story and what a story it is. I really didn’t like the character of Damon until book three and now this one. The way Damon has matured and grown was amazing to watch unfold. I hated seeing what all Sky voluntarily suffered through while trying to avoid the one person that she felt such chemistry with. Will Damon keep pursuing Sky despite her telling him not to? Will her supposed best friend keep hurting her? This was such an amazing story! Isla Vaughn writes realistic characters, who experience drama, angst, jealousy, and real life problems. I can’t wait to read even more.

Brutal Days by Isla Vaughn is Book 3 in the Hidden Valley Elite Series. I do recommend reading the books in order to get the full effect of the story and characters. Brutal Days Follows the story of Damon and Sky. Like the other books in this series it is a High School Academy Bully Romance. If you like Enemies to Lovers this is for you. The tension and chemistry between the characters is so HOTTT and will leave you wanting more. These stories are all around or under two hundred pages and make great quick reads when you are in the mood for spice.

Brutal Nights: A Dark High School Bully Romance (Hidden Valley Elite Book 4)
I am completely and totally obsessed with this series. There is just something about these brothers and cousins that keep me wanting more.
Damon was the one who I expected to fall kicking and screaming and he did not disappoint. I had no idea how it was going to go after the way the first half of his story left off. I knew it was probably not going to be great for Skylar because as we know the girl is always in the wrong.
There is definitely the teenage/high school drama but there were times I had to remember they were in high school. I definitely didn’t have any guys like this back in school.
Skylar was amazing and frustrating at the same time. She wants to help her best friend but at the same time….
I cannot wait to read Phoenix and Shane’s stories as well and looking to see how Cole and Damon are doing.

This is the third book in the Hidden Valley Elite series and I don’t know how, but these books just keep getting better. You don’t have to read the first two books and the prequel in order to read this one, but I definitely would, because you get to see more of the characters and their history. I’ve not been able to put this series down since I read the first prequel book. Isla Vaughn is an amazing author who conveys the steamy love-hate relationships between these characters, Damon and Sky, in such a way that you feel like you’re a part of their story. This book is just the beginning really for Damon and Sky. I can’t wait to learn more about them in the next book, Brutal Nights, which is the conclusion of their story. Will Skylar be able to overcome her past and will the second of the four elite of Hidden Valley find love? I can’t wait to read more and find out. Especially as the series continues and we get to read Damon’s twin cousins’ stories of angst, love, and lust.

Well, Isla Vaughn has done it again. This was such a fun read. I was unable to put it down because of how attached I am to the series. I highly recommend to read the previous books, specially Brutal Days since is the beginning of the story in this book. I can’t say enough good things about the series. This series continues to be my favorite of the year! It picks up right where Brutal Days left us and I am HERE for it. I’m not sure how this author creates such a captivating world that engages you from the very beginning. Even though it’s a quick read, there is plenty of depth to sink into. The chemistry between the characters is phenomenal, and the emotions will take you on a rollercoaster of feeling like you MUST find out what happens immediately! You’ll be invested in each character as they twist and turn throughout the story. Plenty of steam, romance, suspense, and angst, you’ll love this read and beg for more. I have said this about every book and I will continue to shout how great this series is and how this author is phenomenal. This book is a continuation of Sky and Damon’s story. In this book, Sky can’t seem to catch a break when it comes to her car or her life. Sky’s mom becomes paranoid as the release of Sky’s father approaches. When Sky and her mom realize that moving from their home is the only way to stay alive and away from the man who wants them dead, it means pushing away and leaving the guy that Sky is in love with, Damon. But, will Sky live to tell Damon how she feels or fix her friendship with Gia? I can’t wait to continue reading more books by this author.

Brutal Nights by Isla Vaughn is available now in eBook and Physical Book ⭐️⭐️⭐⭐⭐ Book Review
Brutal Nights is the fourth installment within the Hidden Valley Elite series. Brutal Days ended Damon and Sky’s story on a cliffhanger. Brutal Nights picks up right where we left off to tell the remainder of their story. Full of secrets, lies, and sacrifices this installment puts us through all the emotions. Vaughn is known to write about complex characters, strong alpha males, and fierce women. This installment revolved around each and everyone of those. I loved the characters within this duet. In the first two books I did not like Damon’s character but he has grown on me this time around. I found myself rooting for the two of them the entire way. I can’t wait to see what else this series has to offer. I highly recommend this series to anyone who reads romance and enjoys a little suspense. Don’t waste any time, pick up this series right away!

Brutal Days by Isla Vaughn is available now in eBook and Physical Book ⭐️⭐️⭐⭐⭐ Book Review
Isla Vaughn has not written a book that I did not like. Brutal Days can officially be added to the list. Brutal Days is the third installment of the Hidden Valley Elite series telling the story of Damon and Skylar. This installment is 190+ pages of banter, secrets, lies, angst, chemistry, and tension. I highly recommend reading this entire series in order due to the introduction of characters; however Brutal days could be read as a standalone with Brutal nights as they both reflect solely on this couple of characters. Vaughn knows how to draw her readers in, keep their attention, and have them begging for more the entire time. The cliffhanger at the end of Brutal Days left me thanking the book heavens that Brutal Nights was already in my digital library. Not only do I recommend this book and series, I recommend this author to anyone who enjoys romance novels, enemies to lovers genre, and hidden relationships. This new adult, high school bully romance should be enjoyed by a mature audience but you wont regret the decision to pick up this series!

This book took me through it. It is the continuation of Sky and Damon’s story and you won’t be disappointed with it at all. I love the angst that is Brough forth in this book. It has some amazing character development. I really thought that Damon had growth before but this book makes him turn into something amazing. He digs deep to figure out what he wants and how to get it. He has pure determination to go full steam ahead. Sky is trying to do what she thinks is right and almost makes herself a verbal punching bag for Gia. It is crazy. However, that said, if she didn’t do this, I don’t think the book would be nearly as good as it was. Yes, I got frustrated because, seriously, she didn’t need to be a doormat and stay away from Damon. However, that brought on a layer of tension and angst that I didn’t know I needed. The push and pull of these two make this book a page turner. It was such a quick read because I couldn’t put it down. It has everything that you have come to expect from this author in her stories, the passion, angst, character growth, being able to keep up with other characters in the earlier books, etc. If you haven’t started reading this series yet, you must it is amazing and you will be entertained for hours on end because, you will want to keep reading all the books in the series. Brutal Nights (Hidden Valley Elite Book 4) by Isla Vaughn. This is a amazing close to Damon & Skylar’s story. I really believe you need to read their first book to better understand what’s going on. When they finally take their relationship to the next level they are caught by Skylar’s mom and Gia. Naturally there is a major fallout over it. Gia is so mean to Skylar after this, calling her names, hanging with her other friends and just ignoring Skylar. They even wear #teamGia t-shirts. Its miserable for Skylar. Damon takes up for Skylar as much as he can and turns into a really sweet guy. On top of all her friend/school drama Skylar knows her mom is up to something but she can’t figure out what. Damon grows so much in this book and he finally catches up to Skylar maturity wise. Such a wonderful ending to the series and being a young adult series I never dreamed I would be so invested but I sure was. I didn’t want it to end.

Brutal Nights s is Book 4 in the Hidden Valley Elite series and I would NOT suggest reading this as a standalone, if anything the books can be read in pairs 1&2, and 3&4. So if you think you are ready to dive into this one but haven’t read Brutal Days, pick up Brutal Days and read that first.
This book picks up right where Brutal Days left off, and thank goodness because that was such a cliff hanger. The character dynamics get intense. This was another fast paced can’t put down book. I am an Isla Vaughn fan.

Although this is book 3 in the Hidden Valley Elite series, this can be read without reading the first 2 since its the 1st for this couples relationship. I really loved everything about this, this was so very fast paced, and I read it one sitting. I loved both Damon and Sky and I truly couldn’t get enough of their relationship.
The cliffhanger at the end had me begging for more!

This was EXACTLY what I was looking for and did not know that I needed! This was the content I needed to get resolution from the last book! The way that this author wrote this book was wonderful!! I was completely entranced and fell in love with this storyline. I cannot wait to read more books by this author!! I cannot wait to see what happens with these characters and how their story grows.

WOW WOW WOW! This book was one that I could not get out of my head when I finished it! I cannot wait to read more books by this author! Reading young adult books where there is obvious conflict with the main characters before they get together is one of my weaknesses! This book ended on a cliff hanger, and I was not able to get it out of my head. This was by far one of my favorite reads that I have read so far! Run don’t walk to get this book!!
