This is a great trilogy, all brilliant characters, I loved them! They follow the attempted rescue of vineyards in book one then characters featured in book one in the following ones. Really well written in beautiful surroundings, beautifully described. A real page turner!

The True Purpose of Vines (The Winemakers #1)The True Purpose of Vines by Giovanna Siniscalchi
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I loved this! Griffin and Julia meet when Griffin arrives at Julia’s property checking up on her on behalf of his partner. Julia owes money to a Mr. Croft and must pay him back by selling her wine but there’s a nasty virus traveling around the local vineyards so Julia must find a way to save her vineyards and pay off her debt. What she doesn’t intend on doing is falling in love. All seems rosy at first but there’s a secret that Griffin doesn’t want her to know and it could put her whole plan in jeopardy. Will Julia save her home and get the guy? It doesn’t look likely…
This was a real page turner, it’s set in the 1800s and I really like period reads. It was described so well I really felt like I was there, I can’t wait to start the next one!

A Journey for Dorothy (The Reluctant Wagon Train Bride Series) by P. Creeden – Review by Emma Samways

A Journey for Dorothy (The Reluctant Wagon Train Bride #8)A Journey for Dorothy by P. Creeden
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Loved this, it’s the 2nd one I’ve read of this author and I’ll be reading more from this author. I highly recommend this! It’s one of those stories that gives you all the feels.
Dorothy meets Elias on her journey to San Francisco. Dorothy is a nurse and Elias has been shot so she nurses him back to health. There’s a growing attraction but Dorothy feels like she’s betraying her late husband by having feelings for someone else. As their journey together continues they find Elizabeth who’s looking for her father, they offer to help her and so she travels with them. It’s a lovely story of overcoming fears, having faith in God and each other to achieve what they set out to do. Beautifully written, thought provoking and a really lovely ending.
