Such a sweet and feel good Christmas book! Holiday Terminal (A Second Chance Secret Baby Billionaire Holiday Romance) is the first book in the Warren Family Holidays Series by Gwyn McNamee and Christy Anderson. Penelope is a hard working single mom who is just trying to get home to her family for Christmas. One problem is there is a wicked storm, which halters her travel plans to get to get there. So, they get stranded in an extremely small town in Tennessee. She isn’t the only one who gets stranded there either. Artemis Warren has an infamous family and has the money to go with it. The one thing that he doesn’t have is the girl that broke his heart one summer in North Carolina. He’s carried a torch for her ever since. As fate plays it, these two get stranded at the same time at the very same airport their planes had to land at due to the storm. In less than 24 hours their lives get turned upside down and they leave to a happy ending. This book is a little bit of an emotional roller coaster. It was such an easy read and it pulled you in from the start and didn’t stop until the very end. I am so glad that there is a second book! I can’t wait to read it! This book is a Hallmark movie waiting to happen! I absolutely adored it! I have no complaints at all! Well done ladies!

Holiday Terminal is a great Christmas read. This is the first book in this series, i got pulled in straight away. It is well written and i got really invested in Penelope and Art’s romance, they met six years previous but when Art left at the end of the Summer and never contacted Penelope again the last thing she wanted was to run into him at the airport when her flight had to make an emergency landing. Can they get a second chance? you will have to read to find out

Holiday Terminal by Gwyn McNamee and Christy Anderson is book one of The Warren Family Holidays series. I read this book in one sitting. I couldn’t put it down!

Penelope didn’t intend to get stuck at the airport in the middle of nowhere on Christmas Eve but now she has no choice but to wait out the snow storm. She never would have expected that the one person she didn’t think she’d ever see again would get stuck at the same airport. Nothing good could come from both Penelope and Artemis being stuck at the same airport, or so Penelope thinks.

I really enjoyed reading this book! It was a quick read because you get sucked in and don’t want to put it down. I could feel Penelope’s terror when she first saw Artemis and realized it could spell disaster for her. I also spent a bit of time being mad at Artemis. He has a few less than favorable moments. Overall, it was very well written and a great read!

Holiday Terminal was such a great 5 star read. Just what I needed in my life right now. This second chance romance had everything I always want to see in a book. Artemis Warren and Penelope Barnes met one summer on the beach in Cape Harmony. Artemis was vacationing with his rich high profile family and of course they didn’t want their oldest son involved with a local girl. Artie and Penelope fell in love that summer.
Unfortunately Artie left at the end of the summer and him and Penelope never spoke after that. Now 6 years later they are both flying to their respective homes but both planes need to make an emergency landing because of a really bad snow storm with whiteout conditions.
What are the odds that these two long lost lovers have to land at the same airport, on the same day, at the same time ? It must’ve been fate.
What will happen when these two come face to face? Penelope has feared this moment and now she has no choice but to face it head on and tell him the truth. She really doesn’t have to tell him because he can see it with his own eyes. I absolutely loved this book and wish there were more just like this one.

This was a lovely second chance at love Christmas romance which left me with a feel good factor and put me in the festive spirit. When Penelope Barnes and son Max get stranded at a tiny airport in the middle of nowhere on Christmas Eve she thinks things can not get any worse but then Artemis Warren, her first love and the man who broke her heart walks into the terminal. Whilst Penelope has been transported back to being a teenager left on the beach wishing the boy would choose her, Artemis is happy to be reunited with the only woman he’s ever loved. Due to an emergency landing he’s been stranded as well and just wanted to go back to civilisation until he spots Penelope and hopes to turn the bad situation into the opportunity of a lifetime. However, old wounds can be hard to heal and both of them have created new lives and then there’s the secret that Penelope is hiding that will have consequences for both their lives. I loved Penelope and Artemis who were both likeable and relatable and I was cheering them on hoping they would both get their happy ever after, especially as it’s Christmas and a little Christmas magic was just what the couple needed. Max was also a lovely character. The storyline flowed well and the descriptive narrative made the characters and the setting come alive. I found the cold, snowy Christmas Eve to be a really Christmasy backdrop to the story. It was an enjoyable and engaging read which had me hooked from the start and I felt immersed in the story, making this a perfect book for the festive period.

Holiday Terminal: (A Second Chance Secret Baby Billionaire Holiday Romance) (The Warren Family Holidays #1) by Gwyn McNamee & Christy Anderson

This is the first book I’ve read by either author. It won’t be my last as I’ll be watching for others. This book was fantastic and I know others will love it.

Penelope is a single mom and is stuck in a little tiny airport. The last thing she wants is to be stranded on Christmas Eve with her mom and son. The straw that breaks her is her son’s father being in the same airport, stranded as well. The quote I chose for Penelope is: “Seeing is believing, Artemis. And I haven’t seen anything that suggests you’re any different than your family. I’m sorry, but I just can’t believe that. Your promises may be enough for Max, and of course, he would love if you moved to Nashville to be close to him, but they aren’t for me. I can’t give you my heart again. I’m sorry. I just can’t.”

Artemis didn’t want to spend Christmas Eve in an airport. He wanted to be at the family party to announce something. What he doesn’t know is that the one he keeps thinking about is there. In the tiny airport. The quote I chose for Artemis is: “Penelope. I think you and I need to have a little chat.”

Highly recommended for contemporary romance lovers.

I LOVE a holiday romance. This book delivered in putting me in the Christmas spirit and giving me all sorts of feelings. I really love when the characters miscommunicate with each other, that may sound weird, but when I see the hurt caused by miscommunication my heart jumps a little because I know that everything will be okay in the end. Penelope and Artemis are beautiful together, I love them as a couple. Penelope did annoy me at times but overall, I understand why they were in the situation they were in. If they would have just talked everything out, things may have been different by now, but, being young and immature the first thing in your mind is to run, so that is what Penelope did. I was nervous for a minute when Artemis finds out about Max but knew deep down that everything would work out, it’s a holiday romance after all. I really enjoyed meeting all these characters, and quickly got lost in the story, I can’t wait to see what is next and would highly recommend this read.

Holiday Terminal (Warren Family Holidays) by Gwyn McNamee & Christy Anderson. This is a great second chance romance read. Its the story of Penelope and Artemis who meet on the beach one summer and fall in love. Artemis is from a very prominent New York family and Penelope is a shop owner’s daughter. As the summer comes to a close a misunderstanding leaves them both with a broken heart. Penelope goes on to be a single mom and works in Nashville while Artemis continues on the families wishes of running the family business as an attorney. They both still think of each other but know they will never reconnect. 6 years after that summer Penelope, her mom and son Max are flying back to the beach for Christmas when the run into a freak snowstorm. They are stuck in a small terminal with no where to go and Penelope thinks its horrible until she runs right into Artemis who is stuck in the same terminal on his way to New York. Once Artemis sees her son Max he realizes Penelope has kept a secret from him for 6 years. Will they be able to reconnect and rekindle their relationship and be a real family or will they have even more miscommunication and lose each other forever. This is a steamy, sweet holiday read.

By Gwyn McNamee and Christy Anderson

I enjoyed reading this holiday romance. This book is full of romance, forgiveness, passion, great characters, and some heated moments. There was a lot of pent up emotion between Art and Pen, and seeing each other again while stranded at the airport brought all those feelings to forefront. Even though this was a quick read for me there was still plenty of emotion and dialog between the characters. This is a good mature holiday read and I recommend this book. I have read other books by Gwyn McNamee and she never disappoints.

Penelope is flying home for Christmas with her son, Max, and her mother. However, a snow storm forces them to land at a small-town airport until the storm passes. Hoping it will only be a couple of hours, the three of them hunker down in the terminal to wait out the storm…hoping to be home in time to open presents in the morning.
Artemis is on his way to New York where he plans to make a big announcement to his family. Due to the weather, he must land at an airport in the middle of nowhere and wait for the storm to pass. Imagine his surprise when he sees the girl from his past, who has grown into a beautiful woman, as another stranded passenger.
The past between Penelope and Artemis is a mix of young love and heartbreak. Both of them have their own ideas about what happened on the beach years ago…but it seems as though both of them have it wrong. Years of not talking has led to a mix of longing, anger, and distrust. Can they reignite the flame they once had? Or are secrets from the past (and Artemis’ last name) going to keep them apart once again?
I enjoyed this book and read it all in one sitting. It was an easy read and a really good story. Penelope and Artemis are both great characters who just need a little slap upside their heads to knock some sense into them…but, then again, most adults do! I enjoyed the story and will be checking out Archie’s book when it is released.

Holiday Terminal by Gwyn McNamee and Christy Anderson is a short and sweet little Christmas read that is full with emotion. On the flight home for Christmas Penelope, Max (her son), and Jolynn (her mom), are forced to land their plan in a very small town because of a snow storm. Unfortunately, fate would have it that her ex from years ago, Artemis Warren was also forced to land at the same tiny airport. The separate worlds of the two of them collide again, only this time there are a lot of scars and secrets… big secrets… secrets that could change both of their lives in a major way. The secret is soon revealed and so it begins the back and forth of the emotional pull between the two.
This book was delightfully pleasant. There was so much emotion packed in to this book and the character were very favorable. The story-line was great and I got the ending that I had hoped for all along. This is a quick read that would be perfect by a day spend by the fireplace with a cup of hot chocolate.

Holiday Terminal: (A Second Chance Secret Baby Billionaire Holiday Romance) by Gwyn McNamee and Christy Anderson was the first Christmas book of the year for me and almost got my grinchy heart into the spirit.

I have read most of Ms. McNamee’s books and wasn’t sure what to expect with a collaboration, especially with an author I have only recently discovered but I throughly enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more by these two ladies in the future.

Max stole my heart from the very beginning of the book and didn’t let go, there was just something about that little boy that grabbed me.

Though there were some issues between Penelope and Artemis, there wasn’t the heavy drama like there could have been which made me enjoy it that much more.

If ever there was a book I could ask to be written it would be this one because not only is it co-written by one of my favourite authors but it is also a holiday time story – my all-time favourite time of year! I was so excited to get my hands on this story and I wasn’t disappointed at all! I loved every second of it! Ok so maybe the story was a little predictable but I didn’t care at all!!! I loved the setting for the story and I loved the characters. In my opinion this is the perfect Christmas read that gives you all the feels! The writing as I expected was brilliant and it was hard to tell that it was written by two authors, their writing styles blended together seamlessly.
I 100% recommend the Holiday Terminal was a wonderful romantic and heart-warming read for this holiday season!

Holiday Terminal is a Christmas-themed romance that sees two ex-lovers get a second chance of happiness. As a huge fan of the authors already, I was super excited to get started on this. I was also hoping it would get me into the Christmas spirit and I can safely say that it has!

Penelope Barnes and Artemis Warren could not be more different. A small-town girl and a city boy, they were thrust together during a hot summer neither of them would ever forget. We got to learn about their past through short flashbacks and, while there wasn’t many of them, it was the perfect amount for us to understand just how deeply they had cared about each other. Learning about the Warren family was fun, but it was the love and support Penelope’s parents have showed her that I enjoyed so much. The Warren family are not the kind you want to be part of, so I was screaming at Artemis to finally get the guts to step away from a life he hates leading.

Seeing Penelope and Artemis together after so many years apart was fun. There was so much back-and-forth that it keeps you guessing until the very end. There is a huge plot element that I can’t discuss (because it is a big spoiler!) but I absolutely loved how endearing it was. It is the perfect Christmassy read as family is such a strong theme. Another thing I loved was the wintery setting, especially all the snow! Being stuck in a desolate airport terminal on Christmas Day sounds awful, but this book made me want it to happen to me!

I absolutely loved this and will definitely be recommending it. It is the perfect short read to get you in the Christmas spirit and its left me hungry for more festive reads!

Holy Buckets I loved this book! I did not want it to end. Gwyn Mcnamee is an automatic for me and is already on my favorites list. This is my first time reading Christy Anderson and I’ve already pulled her books up so I can read more. These two wrote this story in a way you have no idea who wrote what because it all flows together so perfectly.

This was a different story for a few reasons, one being that most of the story took place in one night and in one place and in my opinion this could be a Christmas Movie on that channel that does the countdown to Christmas every year. I felt like I was right there and could see the beauty outside the windows and actually hear the vending machines dropping the treats. It had my emotions all over the place and Max won my heart right from the start.

The misunderstandings that caused years of loneliness and secrets for both Art and Pen had me wanting to shake both of them but the way this story was told and unfolded made it perfect and I truly want more… I can not wait for the next in this series, while I was reading all I could think of was I hope Archie gets his own story and book I get to the end and find out he is next, so now I’ll hope that just maybe we will get to know Athena as well!

Loved this and can’t recommend it enough. These two authors make an awesome team and I hope we get much more from them in the future!

Holy holly berries! This book is amazeballs! Yes I said amazeballs, because really that is the only word my brain can produce after the way this book left me in my feels and reeling with the need for more. First of all we have Gwyn McNamee and Christy Anderson teaming up and honestly I need more of this in my life! These two are explosive authors on their own, so seeing them team up is one heck of an explosion that I will never get enough of, bring on more! Follow that up with the perfect amount of holiday cheer, romance, and angst, and you have the makings of a fabulous holiday read that you will devour over and over again this holiday season. I am seriously sincere folks, this book should be made into a movie, more along the speed of Lifetime than Hallmark but a movie nonetheless.

Imagine being stranded in the middle of nowhere with a blizzard raging around you and the company you have to keep is your ex that you just can’t seem to figure out how to communicate with. This book brings you just that. Art and Pen are thrust together with all their chaos and mess and forced to face the cold hard facts. They have a sizzle that will set you hair on end and your feels on fire. I absolutely adored these two was cheering for them to find that happily ever after with the magic of Christmas cheering them on. I know there are a few moments where I also wanted to reach through my kindle screen and strangle them but it made sitting on the edge of my seat that much more desirable. I can’t wait to find out what the next novel will bring but I sure know I will be pre-ordering that sucker as fast as my finger can click. I hope this book brings you as much magic and joy this holiday season as it has for me! Happy reading!

I absolutely LOVED this story. I thought it a bit predictable but that didn’t stop me from loving these two characters! They each brought heart and soul to this book. I felt each emotion right along with characters. The storyline was about lost love and the big Why. Each felt they were wronged and didn’t know why. Now six years later they have a second chance or is it the chance to say a proper goodbye…

There were secondary characters that I enjoyed immensely. They added the love, dislike and laughter to this story. We see a family and their struggle for perfection vs not fitting the required family mold. Max was a wonderful add but I also want to mention Jolynn. She is supportive to the nth degree. Who would love someone like that in their life?

I enjoyed this book and It is a sweet story filled with emotional upheaval. The writing flows and the characters are well done. I see a second will be coming about Arties brother. I look forward to reading that.

I love these authors separately. Together they are fantastic! Don’t we all dream of the one that got away? The one we gave our heart to and they still hold it even though it’s been years? Wonder what would happen if you saw them again? This is the story of Artemis and Penelope. Once young lovers who walked away from each other years ago. Now, stranded in a random airport in the middle of nowhere on Christmas Eve, their paths cross once again. Only this time, there is so much more at stake!

This story brings out all the feels! It’s so easy to imagine myself in Penelope’s place. As I read, I could feel both of their emotions as if they were my own. This is such a well written second chance romance! Holiday Terminal is a must read this Holiday season or anytime you’re looking for a great, emotional, quick read! Five stars for Gwyn and Christy!

What a great holiday read this was. This book, while quick, packs quite the emotional punch i expect from Gwyn McNamee and Christy Anderson is new to me but now on my to read list.
A teenage miscommunication comes to a head over Christmas 6 years later between Penelope and Artie. These two, ugh I wanted to just shake them sometimes but we got there in the end. I can’t give away circumstances as it’ll ruin this read for anyone else as even though we know what is kind of expected, the work up to it all is so worth reading on your own.

Holiday Terminal: A Second Chance Secret Baby Billionaire Holiday Romance is a fantastic second chance romance by Christy Anderson and Gywn McNamee. I have read, and loved, many books by Gwyn McNamee but this was the first time that I had read any of Christy Anderson’s writing. After reading this book, I’m sure I will read more in the future as I really, really enjoyed this book.
Holiday Terminal was very different to any other book I have read, for several reasons. Firstly, there are very few characters in the book. Secondly, it takes place over a very short space of time and thirdly, almost the whole story takes place in just 1 location.
Although there were very few characters, those that were in the book were very well written and all have valuable parts to play in the storyline. As always (for me) when there is a young child in a book, they totally steal the scene for me and Max in this book was no different. He was totally adorable. I loved the interactions between the 2 main characters Penelope and Artemis. Both have never got over the other and still have very deep feelings for each other but are both angry with each other which lead to some very heated arguments.
One of my favourite parts of this book is the bond that grows very quickly between Artemis and Max. It’s adorable to read their interactions.
Although different, I really loved this book and would definitely recommend it to others.

Holiday Terminal: (A Second Chance Secret Baby Billionaire Holiday Romance) by Gwyn McNamee & Christy Anderson is sooooooo, so good. It is one story that although a quick read, packs a punch and I got thoroughly lost in. This sweet and amazing tale had my heartstrings pulling and emotions all over the place. It is a wonderful Christmas story that is romantic and full of love and frustrations, drama and lies, angst and pain. What a team these ladies make! I enjoy their work separately but together they are an IT team. OMG I just fell in love with these characters who stole my heart.

Penelope finds herself stuck in the middle of nowhere when a storm diverts their plane BUT what she never imaged to find there was the one person who had her heart, mind and soul and left her broken but with a beautiful surprise. It is that very surprise she does not want him to find.

Artemis comes from a very wealthy family who dictate everything in his life. However, his heart was left behind with a beautiful woman he loved with his entire being. He finds himself in a town in the middle of who knows where and the one person he thought he would never see again walks back in his life. Unfortunately he finds that she has kept something from him and that is the one thing he may never forgive her for.

There is so much pain in this beautiful story but it is worth every second becoming invested in these wonderful characters and the world the IT team has created. This was an amazing journey and I can’t wait for more.

While Christy Anderson is a new author for me, writing a book with one of my go-to authors Gwyn McNamee was a must! Holiday Terminal was an amazing captivating read of two people destined to find each other and have a second chance.
This one gave you all the feels you need for an amazing all-rounder book! Its had angst, passion, drama, romance, heartbreak but all in all it was the perfect read from start till finish. I couldn’t put this read down, I read it on one sitting and fell in love with both Artemis & Penelope each in their own way but also the journey that they take, in the short amount of time.

You couldn’t help but absolutely feel so much emotion with what these two went through you just kept wishing they would overcome their past, a secret and actually talk and realise the thing that brought them together many years before was still the main thing that both of them still felt!

There is not a single thing I could say that I didn’t love about this book, other than I didn’t want it to ever end! I can’t wait to experience more from these two incredible authors I’ll be eagerly awaiting Holiday Bridal Wave.

These two author worked so well together and the story they created was strong and well written. I loved the main characters Penelope and Artemis. I found myself rooting for their HEA and excited to see where their story would go. I am looking forward to reading more stories by both of these authors and I would recommend this to a friend!

Holiday Terminal by Gwyn McNamee & Christy Anderson – Review by Jana Teppih

Holiday TerminalHoliday Terminal by Gwyn McNamee
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Holiday Terminal is a beautiful opening to the holiday season by Gwyn McNamee and Christy Anderson. It is a Hallmark worthy second chances Christmas story that leaves you feeling warm and fuzzy! I have read Gwyn McNamee writing before but it was my first encounter with Christy Anderson and I was not disappointed!
Holiday Terminal gives us the reunion of Artemis Warren and Penelope Barnes who are thrown together in the middle of Nowhere for Christmas and I am sure that at first neither of them really considered it to be a Christmas present but the fate has decided to step in and who are we mere mortals to fight against what is to happen … of course it should not be an easy ride so buckle in for a Christmas ride filled with Christmas spirit with a Christmas miracle peaking round the corner!
