Imposter: An Ash Park Novel (Volume 7) by Meghan O’Flynn. These books keep getting better. Once again this author pulled me in from page one and simply wouldn’t let me go. This author knows the way to keeping readers on the edge of our seats. I’m always guessing what’s next right up until the very end and I love every minute of it. Each twist and turn has me trying to turn the pages as fast as possible to see where we’d be going next. Each character brings something unique to the storyline and the plot had my head spinning more than once. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. Five huge stars and highly recommended. Can’t wait for more from this amazing author.

Let me start off by saying wow!! This book had me on the edge of my seat throughout its entirety. Petrosky is barely holding it together because he’s still fighting to hold on especially as his dead daughter’s birthday is nearing. I stayed up way too late to finish this book because I was so invested and I needed to go where this would end. From one moment to the next I didn’t know what was going to happen or what twist was going to change what I thought I knew. This author is an exceptional writer, the suspenseful stories are top notch and must be read. This book is definitely one of the must reads I highly recommend this book.

Meghan O’Flynn did it again! I haven’t read all the books in this series yet, but this one was another knockout novel! You don’t have to have read any others to understand the events that take place, but it does help in knowing some of the characters. This novel was full of suspense, and I couldn’t put it down! It had me gripped from the first chapter, and the mystery and crime drama was perfect if that’s your thing. There were so many unexpected twists I didn’t expect at all! I can’t wait to read more from this incredible author!

AWESOME!!
This is absolutely my go to author now for any kind of crime, suspense fiction and actually any kind of genre. Her writing style is exactly what I love about reading and when I start one of her books I do not want to put them down or for them to end.
This book series could so easily be a TV series, while reading these books I can actually picture these scenes playing out and would love to add this to one of my binge lists LOL
This one had me all messed up, as per usual, I always think I can see what’s coming but then I realize why I’m just a reader. Petrosky is one of my favorite characters ever…He’s flawed, broken, and his inner dialogue makes me feel like I know him now. I absolutely felt all of his feelings dealing with the upcoming birthday of his daughter, and his interaction with Linda totally broke my heart. There is so much more than just solving cases when you read these books.
Not going into any more of this story, there’s a lot of moving parts in this book and every one of them are in perfect sync.
Read this series, seriously!! You won’t be sorry!! I can not wait to go back and read every one of them again.

Wow what an amazing story full of twists and turns that keeps you hooked from the first page.
Ed Petrosky and his partner Jackson are called to a suicide or so it seems. On arriving they realise that the person who has committed suicide is little Greggie Boyle who went missing and reappeared years later.
Ed and Jackson start to investigate and are shocked when suicide isn’t the cause of death but murder is.
Then starts a rollercoaster of an investigation. No one is who they seem to be. Petrosky and Jackson have to retrace the investigation into Gregory’s disappearance to see if there is any connection.
This investigation deals with child abuse, kidnapping and murder but the people who are involved are people no one would expect.

Everytime I think this series is over and the next one is better than the one before, another one releases and hooks me back in again. This one like the others, follows Detective Petrosky, and I’ve loved him from the beginning he just has a knack for making you love him even with his gruff exterior. I never know what’s coming in these books and this was no different and again is a must read . As with everything in this series, nothing is ever as it seems. I could not put this down I didn’t want to miss anything.

Imposter is the seventh book in the Ash Park series by Meghan O’Flynn. Although these book can be read as standalone, I would highly recommend you read them in order. Ms. O’Flynn is really a master at giving us a brilliant psychological thriller. The twists and turns will have you wondering how Meghan comes up with the plots for her books. This is the best book in the series so far. Detective Petrosky is back, looking into a suicide that is not really a suicide. Just when you think you know who the killer is, BAM, there is another twist. I love how this series makes me think. I do have to say that this series is not for the feint of heart. It is at times gruesome and often disturbing. Twisted minds are common and really graphic. It is the perfect series for those that love to catch monsters. Review by@sunbarn

Imposter is the 7th book in the Ash Park crime thriller series by Meghan O’Flynn. It is the first time I had read any of this author’s work. I used to read a lot in this genre but had neglected it recently. The blurb of this book had me intrigued so I decided to give it a go. What I got was a fantastically well written crime thriller that had me gripped from the very beginning and kept it’s hooks in tight right up to the very end. In this book Ed Petrosky starts with dealing with the suicide of Gregory Boyle, a teenage boy who had previously been kidnapped for 5 years and had returned home 2 years previously. What transpired from this was an intricate tale of murder, fraud, intrigue, kidnapping and so much more. As well as dealing with this case, it is approaching the birthday of Ed’s daughter who had been murdered previously and this case is bringing back so many memories of his dead daughter. Ed had hit the bottle hard after his daughter’s death and in this book we see him fight the demon of drink calling out to him at every opportunity. This book is fast paced and flows very well. Just when you think you have worked out what is going on, the author throws a massive curveball and the story goes in a different direction, keeping you on your toes. I’m so glad that I chose to read this book as it’s given me a thirst for reading more in this genre.

I have yet to pick up an Meghan O’Flynn novel that I have not adored completely! She manages to take her readers on a fast, thrilling, and twisted ride with each of her Ash Park novels. Each book is written with recurring characters and some overlapping case details. I would recommend that you read them in order and all of them, but I am told they are able to be read as stand alones as well. Imposter is the seventh book in the series and it feels like saying that should come with a this series is getting old type feeling, but I can assure you there is not one dull or boring and repetitive moment in the entire book let alone the series. In Imposter we find our favorite troubled detective, Petrosky as he is once again faced with a ruthless and violent killer. The case will force him to face pieces of himself all while trying to race against time to keep the inhabitants of Ash Park and his own loved ones safe from harm. I can’t wait to see what could come next and if we will get more of Ash Park from Ms. O’Flynn.

I think I was on the edge of my seat the whole way through and I have to say it is probably my favourite out of the series so far! The authors’ writing is detailed, the storyline intricately woven and it completely sucks you in and doesn’t let you out until the end. I have to say I do love Petrosky; he is good at his job and has been a fantastic main character the whole way through this series! Meghan O’Flynn did it again. She is one of my favorite authors. Her stories are always intense and mind blowing. Her character development and plot lines are out of this world. The words fly off the page. I would pay close attention to the smallest details because you may miss an important clue. This story took me on a wild roller coaster ride. Every time I thought I knew what was going on, here comes a curveball. Detective Petrocky is with us again. This time Little Greggie who was taken and reappeared to his parents, had hung himself. There was no evidence that it was a suicide. Detective Petrocky is investigating Little Greggie’s suicide there was others who were taken and reappeared only to comitt suicide. Can Detective Petrocky find out what is going on? Will there be more children taken and alive? Will there be a higher body count that Detetive Petrocky cannot stop from happening? I highly recommend this book. If you like thrillers this book is for you.

Imposter: An Ash Park Novel is book seven in this series by Meghan O’Flynn. Normally this far into a series I have fallen off or everything becomes stagnant. O’Flynn kills it with this book. Detective Petrosky is trying to get answers after someone who had been kidnapped suddenly commits suicide. Nothing is as easy as it seems. This has twists and turns which kept me on my toes while reading. Detective Petrosky is a gritty seasoned detective who has seen it all and even he is unsure of what is going on. I enjoy these books because there is a sense of urgency to get to the bottom of what is going on which a lot of crime and mysteries forget. I look forward to reading more from Meghan O’Flynn in the future.

Meghan O’Flynn gives me the creeps with every book I read. They’re disturbingly good. I mean the while time I was reading this book I was under my blanket. The story just sent chills down my spine. If you’ve read any of her other books you would understand where I’m coming from. The words jump off of the pages at you. Making you feel and experience every detail. The main character has been through so much. His pain is there with every struggle to keep straight. There’s no way you can not read this and not experience his suffering. I really enjoy this authors work. I haven’t been so thrilled in forever. I love the care and attention to detail that the author puts in the story. I felt like I was riding in the car with Petrosky. That I was there when that boy experienced all his pain. A must read.

This one starts off with the action from the gate. The kidnapping of “Little Greggie” as the mystery of his suicide grips the detective working on his case. The poor kid’s family are an odd bunch holding out on the cops as the detective discovers the boy was drugged. But why and why did they want the kid to stay quiet permanently? Just as Det. Petrosky is getting closer to solving the case, new abductions begin to take place and new kids are victims of this kidnapper. The detective and his partner are in a race not only against time but they’re looking for a killer and the bodies of his victims! These cops are on a chase to catch a killer and return kids to their families. Detective Petrosky is soon dealing with a lot as his own daughter’s puts his head in a dark place. His focus is bringing kids home to their family but will this help or hurt his case as he’s dealing with a lot at once. This book had me hooked from the synopsis alone. I read each page and couldn’t put it down! Action-packed from the first chapter on down. This original story from the author is addictive to the reader. Entertaining as the story grips you to stay tuned. This book is a page-turner with unpredictable twists and turns.

Imposter is the seventh novel in the Ash Park novel series by Meghan O’ Flynn. This is my first novel by this author.
Detective Petrosky is called when a boy appears to kill himself. The family is acting strange; not wanting to help the police which send alarms in his head.
As he investigates further, he notices other abductions.
I read this novel well into the night and once I finished I had a hard time falling asleep. With so many twists and turns and gritty revelations, I don’t wanna say this book scared me but I feel like it’s the right word.
In the future when I read thriller books, I’ll make sure to read them during the day. I look forward to reading more by this author and reading how this series started.

Imposter is the seventh book in the gripping Ash Park Series by Meghan O’Flynn. Ms. O’Flynn’s ability to spin an intense thriller never ceases to amaze me- the series is an intricately woven and thrilling showcase of her writing skills. I have read each book, believing that there would be no way for her to top the previous book/s- but she ups the ante each time as her stories just seem to get better and better as the series evolves. I have said this many times, but the amount of tension, suspense, and clever twists that she is able to create in her work/s, makes for quite a thrilling and mind-blowing read. While this book could be read as a standalone- there are recurring characters and snippets of backstory and other information which knowing would give you a much bigger picture and provide an even better perspective of the character/s and overall storyline, making for a better reading experience for you. Plus, the entire series is fantastic- so you really have nothing to lose by reading them all! Detective Petrosky is faced with another challenge in this book- another murder kicks off an investigation which will test his limits on all fronts. The past and present collide- threatening to unravel everything, while dredging up the painful memories of his daughters’ murder. He is determined to find the killer before anymore children are ripped away from their families. What happens makes for quite an intense read. As expected from Ms. O’Flynn, there was plenty of darkness, surprising developments, nail-biting intensity, shock, and awe. All I could do was hang on to the edge of my seat as I was swept along for the ride. Another thrilling instalment!

Imposter: An Ash Park Novel (Volume 7) by Meghan O’Flynn. This is the 7th book in this series and they are all spectacular. I think each one gets better and leave me wanting the next one. We are back with Detective Petrosky and his partner Jackson. Their new case is about Greggie Boyle who was Kidnapped and brought back to his parents after 5 years. They are called to Greg’s home where he is found hanging in the foyer. His parents are acting very strange and his brother is downright creepy. They won’t help Petrosky with anything. Once the blood works comes back it seems little Greg was drugged? Petrosky is so confused and then he finds out more children have been kidnapped and returned are they the next victims? Petrosky wants to solve this case before another child comes up dead. With the anniversary of his daughter’s brutal murder coming up the sooner he can solve this the better.

I give Imposter: An Ash Park Novel (Volume 7) by Meghan O’Flynn, 5 stars. *This review may contain spoilers from previous books in the series..*
Wow. This yet another gripping fascination of a book from a thrilling series. It grabs you by the proverbial balls and takes you on a wild ride you will never see coming. The story has so many twists and turns, I was dizzy at the end of it but wanted to get back on the ride again. The characters are incredible too. They have each gone through so much, they are definitely not your cardboard placeholders just there to help the story along. This book is so much more than just the mystery of finding out what happened and who did it. The author does a wonderful job of throwing in so many subplots while keeping the book clean and interesting.
While this book may have some parts that may be a little too much for the lighthearted, this is a spectacular addition to the series and highly recommended to those who enjoy a criminal thriller. This book can be read as a standalone (in my opinion), but you will understand and feel so much more if you read the previous books in the series first.

Absolutely riveting. I cannot get my brain ready for each story she tells and I cannot begin to imagine how she even crafts each story. But each book is a masterful suspense-filled web of intrigue. A delicate balance of mystery, anticipation, and organized chaos, this latest addition to the Ash Park universe kept me holding my breath the entire book. Loved every page. Masterful!

Wow! This is eye opening. I am almost speechless about what to write. The story just really…really makes you think. I was sickened as well as freaked out on numerous occasions. Then something would happen that would make me laugh. Usually it’s a crazy Petrosky comment or action. Even Jackson a couple times a some good zingers.
This isn’t my first story by this author. Ed is getting back into being Detective, sleuthing and annoying suspects. I love his go getter take no crap attitude. Jackson smoothes out his rough edges. Morrison is tough to replace but Jackson is getting there.
This is a great thrill ride. One that will shock and surprise you.

Imposter by Meghan O’Flynn is the seventh book in the Ash Park series. These books are best read in order as the characters are recurring and you get the development over the course of the series. This book has to be my favourite one in this series so far! It was exciting and intense. I found myself desperate to find out what was going on – did the family know something? Was it the kidnappers from previous? Was it something else entirely that I didn’t see coming? I was hooked on this book from the minute I started reading and I didn’t out it down until I had finished. This was an amazing book and this series is easily one of my favourites!

Imposter An Ash Park Novel (Volume 7) by Meghan O’Flynn 4 Stars!!!!
Once again I delve into the thriller and intrigue of detective Petrosky and once again I was not let down. The author has a unique writing style that is chilling from the beginning to the end. I don’t normally like psychological thrillers but I made an exception for this series and I must say that each book just gets better and better.
Petrosky is really haunted by his past and the demons that are in it, but that doesn’t stop him from getting to the bottom of the case. I found that this case really hit home to him as it was about children. I found that the author really brings the characters and the whole world she has created to life. I felt as though I was there as the thriller unfolded. I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.
Imposter: An Ash Park Novel (Volume 7) By Meghan O’Flynn 5 out of 5 stars
I loved reading the story Imposter: An Ash Park Novel (Volume 7) by Meghan O’Flynn. It is the next book in the amazing Ash Park series. It pulls you in from the very beginning and doesn’t let you go until the final page. The story had me turning pages wondering what was going to happen next. In this book, Detective Petrosky is called to the home of a boy who, for all appearances, has committed suicide. What he finds is a family that is acting strangely. While everyone deals with death differently the detective can’t help but hear red flags going up in his head. Now the suicide has turned into a murder and it is up to the detective to uncover the clues as to why the boy was killed. The investigation will lead Petrosky down a path of other abductions. Will the killer be caught? Read this book to find out. This story had me reading far into the night as I just had to find out how it all ends up. Detective Petrosky is a character that is haunted by the past and at times he is at war with himself. He blames himself for his daughter’s murder and also fighting to hold on to his sanity. He is a character that I always root for as he follows his instincts to solve crimes. This book has twists and turns that I didn’t see coming. It has an atmosphere of suspense that seems very real. The author does an amazing job of making it feel like you are right there with the detective putting together the clues. Don’t miss out on this story. Highly recommended reading.

I have read every one of the books in this series, I loved each of them and this one is my favorite yet. This author has a way of writing a story that will pull you in right from the beginning and make you feel as if you are part of the story. This story is no different. Detective Petrosky is back with a suspenseful new investigation. He gets wrapped up in kidnapping and a sucide of a boy that he can’t let go of. What will happen when he finds out that there are a lot more kidnapped children? Will he catch this person before any more children are lost? The twists and turns had me sitting on the edge of my seat as well as turning pages fast. This is an awesome must read story that you won’t regret picking up. I highly recommend this book as well as reading this series from the beginning.

“Little Greggie” Boyle was the amazing reappearing child—a boy kidnapped and returned to his parents after five years in captivity. So what would make him take his own life? That’s the question hanging over Detective Petrosky’s head.
It seems straightforward: the teenager was found suspended from the rafters in the foyer of his parents’ home, a rope around his neck. No signs of struggle. No note, though that isn’t uncommon despite what Hollywood says—those movie nitwits don’t know real crime from their left elbows.
But something is wrong. The victim’s parents are stonewalling the police, and Gregory’s brother is cagey—even a little creepy. None of them seem interested in finding out what drove Gregory to kill himself. Or maybe they know something Petrosky doesn’t. Then forensic evidence turns the case on its head: the boy was drugged. The death wasn’t a suicide at all. Perhaps the kidnappers came back to make sure he stayed quiet…permanently.
As the investigation continues, a darker pattern of abductions begins to emerge. Gregory wasn’t the only child taken, and it appears the kidnapper is cleaning house—are any of the other victims still alive? One thing seems clear: Petrosky and his partner aren’t just hunting a killer; they’re looking for more bodies. If they don’t hurry, the man who murdered Gregory Boyle will rip other children from their families—kids who will never again come home.
And more dead children, especially on the anniversary of his daughter’s grisly murder, is more than Detective Petrosky can handle. He needs to catch the killer and ensure no more children fall prey to this maniac before he loses his own tenuous grasp on sanity.
Fiendishly clever, unique, and replete with twists and turns that keep readers glued to the pages, Imposter is a fast-paced crime thriller in the vein of Sidney Sheldon, Tana French, and Dean Koontz’s Jane Hawk series.
With books deemed “visceral, haunting, and fully immersive” (New York Times bestseller, Andra Watkins) Meghan O’Flynn has made her mark on the thriller genre. She is the bestselling author of gritty crime novels, including Shadow’s Keep and the Ash Park series, supernatural thrillers including The Jilted, and the Fault Lines short story collection, all of which take readers on the dark, gripping, and unputdownable journey for which Meghan O’Flynn is notorious.
