Center of Gravity is an excellent stand alone sports romance. Emilia is stereotyped as being the Italian princess, but she has been ruled by her grandfather for most of her adult life. Matt is a focused and determined hockey player with no room for distractions in his life. When Emilia’s grandfather buys Matt’s beloved hockey team and puts her in charge it is quickly apparent that they two of them have some unfinished business together (don’t want to say too much as it may spoil the story line.) I really enjoyed this book, I liked the dynamic between the two main characters and the fact that they were (mostly) always honest with each other. I also liked the supporting characters, which makes me want to go back and read the first book in the series. Highly recommend to fans of the sports romance genre.

Emilia tries to prove herself worthy of the family name when she is sent to the states to manage a hockey team. Matt strongly distrusts women and doesn’t ever consider seeing Emilia after their one night of passion. Emilia and Matt prove that a one nightstand can change your life forever and have the best of consequences that can give you an amazing love story. All the while finding themselves and their place in life and where they truly belong. This is a great read that doesn’t take long to get caught up in and wanting more of the Ice Tigers Franchise.

This is the first book I have read by Ms. Cassazza,but definitely won’t be the last. This book can be read as a standalone, but the writing was wonderful and I look forward to reading the first book. Matt and Emilia have fantastic chemistry, but need help on relationship and trust issues. Hockey romances are one of my favorite genres, and this book is the best I have read this year. I look forward to reading more from Ms. Cassazza.

Center of Gravity is the 2nd of 3 books in the Ice Tigers Hockey Romance series by Isabella Cassazza. It is the first I have read, but it can be enjoyed as a stand alone novel. I really loved it, and plan to go back and read book 1 next, then the 3rd book. The story is a romance, but it is clean, with only a couple scenes approaching the pg 13 range. The characters were wonderful, even though they both annoyed me at times. It is mostly told from Emilia’s point of view, but Matt had some chapters as well. I like books written so we can understand the feelings of both main characters. Both Matt and Emilia were overly stubborn, but I loved that they put their differences aside and quickly decided to co-parent. Emilia is a strong female lead character, and while Matt is stubborn as can be, he is also a really great guy. There are a lot of supporting characters that I bet will get their own stories, and I look forward to that. I recommend this book and will definitely read more.

I was compelled to read this book because of my love for hockey and romance. Some girls dream of happily ever after, I prefer hat tricks and goalie masks. This is a well-written romance. The storyline is engaging. Isabella Cassazza did a great job with the details of hockey. Characters are well developed and loveable. This is Emilia and Matt’s story. Both of them lost souls looking for someone to find them. When Emilia was sent to Boston to manage the Ice Tigers, can she break away from her controlling Grandfather? She was to have one night of hockey which turned into a magical night. Matt is a struggling hockey player looking for the Cup win. Matt has been burned by people in the past/present. Will he be able to put things aside and start a relationship with the new manager of the Ice Tigers. I highly recommend this book, especially if you are a hockey-romance lover like myself.

After once again disappointing her grandfather, Emilia has been sent to take over managing the Tigers She is determined to prove herself to her grandfather. She has been trying to get his respect for years. She has one slight problem, she has no clue about hockey. Another thing she didn’t expect was Matt being on the team.
Matt is a player focused on the game and avoiding women. However, fate plays a little trick on him when he meets the new manager of the Tigers. What will happen when Emilia’s secret comes out? Will these two get a HEA with each other?
Overall I really enjoyed this book.The author does a great job of pulling you in with her writing. All of the characters added a great element to the story. Center of Gravity is the second book in Isabella Cassazza’s series Ice Tigers. The writer has said that you can read it as a standalone and I did read it without having read the first book. I love ice hockey series and I felt that I need a sweet ice hockey series and I am always open to new writers so I picked up a copy and I do not regret it all. I actually would say that read the first book of the series’ first as I kept wondering about the guys who were the main in the book one and also appeared in book two! Center of Gravity is Emilia and Matt’s story and there was something very comforting about the story. I think it was Emilia who had not found her place in her grandfather’s high fashion world, the moments when she thought back on her life as a six year old girl and her finally finding her place and purpose and her … center of gravity that would be there for always and help her weather any storms … and then there was Matt, his successful macho hockey persona and his vulnerable betrayed by woman side and his taking a chance and finding his inner strength. I actually really fell into this Ice Tigers universe in Boston with its colourful characters so I already downloaded the first of the series and I know I will be heading for the third book after I have finished with that!

I’m not a hockey fan, but I seem to love hockey romance stories and this one did not disappoint me. There was something about Emilia and Matt’s story that drew me in and kept me engaged until the end.
Emilia was not fulfilled, she wasn’t happy in her job and felt like she could do nothing right. Matt had been burned before and was leary of women and relationships, especially relationships. Who knew one fateful night would change everything for both of them.
I really loved both of these characters for very different reasons. Emilia needed a push to discover her inner strength but once she found it she wasn’t going to relinquish it for anyone or anything. Matt had a vulnerable side that dug it’s claws into my heart. He had a lot more inner strength then he realized and once he found it and opened himself up there was no stopping him.
This book was my introduction to Ms.Cassazza, and I look forward to going back to read the first book in the series and keeping up with the Ice Tigers.

I really enjoyed reading Center of Gravity: An Ice Tigers Hockey Romance by Isabella Cassazza. Living in an area where hockey is a big deal, I was pleasantly surprised by the idea of a hockey romance. This story about Emilia Ravelli, a heiress to a clothing company, really resonated with me. Emilia has tried so hard to show her grandfather that she can be the CEO of the family company but sh seems to have trouble every time to show him she can do it. In the midst of this crisis at work, she finds out she has a problem she needs to keep to herself for a while.
Out of the blue, her grandfather gives her an ultimatum, to move from Rome to Boston, to run a Hockey Team he just bought. The team is the company’s way to get their foot in the door begin selling their luxury clothing line in the United States. Emilia is told this is her last test to show she can make something of herself or she will be disowned.
The story has wonderful characters who have personality, friendships, and the team spirit and guts to work hard to show everyone they have what they need to be successful. I would definitely recommend this book to my friends. Can’t wait to pick up another book by Ms. Cassazza.

Matt, a hockey player, does something he doesn’t regret in Italy. When the person shows up he’s shocked. Matt doesn’t want a relationship or does he? The quote I choose for Matt is: “The babies are all over the internet?”
This book had me reading the book and not wanting to put it down. This was a phenomenal read and I really want more. Matt and Emilia are by far the cutest!
This is a love story that is mixed in the worlds of ice hockey and fashion. The characters are so easy to like that you feel yourself going through the journey and the ups and downs with them.
Matt is a ice hockey player who has his eye on winning the Cup this year. Nothing and no one is going to distract him or get in his way. After a betrayal that hurt him badly he was even more determined to just focus on his game.
Emilia is part of the Ravelli family. Their name in Italian fashion is the best and because of this she has been forced to work in the family business. With a grandfather she cannot impress after her latest failing she is sent to take over as the general manager of a ice hockey team in America to get the Ravelli name over there. Center of Gravityis the first book in the Ice Tigers series, and my first read by Isabella Cassazza. Even though this is the second book in the series, it can be read as a standalone. But, having said that this story has intrigued me enough to want to go back and read the first book too, before continuing the series. This is a sweet contemporary sports romance about finding love unexpectedly- with a couple of surprises thrown in to keep things interesting. The characters were well developed and endearing- making for a realistic and believable read that you won’t want to put down. Emilia Ravelli has lived in her grandfather’s shadow for so many years trying to live up to his expectations and earn his respect. But no matter what she does, how much she sacrifices, nothing she does seems to please him. She feels like a failure. Keeping up appearances and shouldering all the expectation and responsibility is not only exhausting, but also a little lonely. So, when her latest project fails to live up to her grandfather’s exacting standards, again, Emilia is sent halfway across the world knowing that this new assignment will be her last chance to prove herself. She has a lot riding on its success. One small problem- the assignment means taking over the management of the Boston Ice Tigers hockey team, with no experience in sports management and no clue about hockey, Emilia really doesn’t like her chances of success- especially with the secret she’s carrying. Center of Gravity by Isabella Cassazza I five-star read that is smooth as ice. This is number two in the Ice Tigers Romance series but they can be read as stand-alone, I haven’t read number one and didn’t feel like I missed anything, that being said I will pop back and read number one as I loved this one and am hoping the rest of the series will be just as good. This has great pace and is a fantastic slow burn that will keep you on tenterhooks, the chemistry builds and builds to explosive proportions. The whole back and forth and the misconceptions will keep you hooked and have your heart in your throat one minute and your stomach the next. This is a great story and one I hope many will pick up.

Loved this story! I love a good sports based romance and this didn’t disappoint. I loved the characters of Emilia and Matt and really enjoyed their character development. This author did a beautiful job crafting the storyline and developing very relatable characters. I loved every page and am excited to find this is part of a series. This will be a series I will most definitely read every book.

Center Of Gravity by Isabella Cassazza was a wonderful read! This is the first novel I’ve read from this author, and and I’ve never read a book from the Ice Tigers Hockey series before, but this standalone was great, and I wasn’t confused in the least. Everything that needed to be explained got explained fairly quickly, and there was no confusion in past events. I was instantly enthralled in this entertaining romance novel the moment I started reading. It was touching, and fulfilling, and extremely satisfying to read. I thoroughly enjoyed this novel and can’t wait to read more from this author in the future!

While this definitely can be read as a stand-alone without any confusion it made me excited to read book one for sure. This author is new to me but it definitely won’t be long before I read all the books. The characters are complex and relatable, they pull you into their story so completely I found myself lost in the pages for a few hours not wanting to put it down. It’s amazing how one night can change everything you know in life. Each page had me falling more and more for each character who brings something unique to the storyline. I was very happy to find this author and I’m so excited to read more. This story was definitely well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. I enjoyed this friends to lovers sports romance. I thought it was sweet and funny and the author pulled me in with her good writing. The main characters in this story have a very hard lesson to learn.. Our actions have consequences. Even if the choice was an amazing one at the time, the outcome can be something that will change their lives forever. Emilia and Matt learn this the hard way but i loved their story and they were such awesome characters. The chemistry between them is spicy and i was eager to see if they would get their HEA. I can honestly say that this was one of the best books that I have read in a while. Isabella Cassazza is a new to me author but she is now at the top of my top authors list and future must reads. Emilia and Matt had me falling in love and rooting for them the entire book. Here were a few times where I had wanted to slap Matt in the back of the head and shake some sense into him but I am so extremely happy with the way this book ended and I absolutely can not wait for the next book!!!!

This is my first time reading something by Isabella Cassazza and I am so going back for more after I finish this review. This book was a perfect read for a rainy day. It has the slow burn romance with a sports theme and hot men and fun fashion to boot. Throw in babies and I pretty much am in heaven.
In Center of Gravity we find Emilia struggling to please and make her grandfather proud. Something that is even more crucial given his financial and social status. Things seem to take a turn for the worse when Emilia finds herself pregnant and being sent to America to manage the hockey team that her grandfather just met. She is hoping this might just be the start over moment she needed but when she gets there she discovers that the one night of fun that left her pregnant is actually a player on the team! The build up to the finale of the book was so perfect and written with a flow that had me engrossed to find out what would happen between these two. I can’t say enough good things about this read!

I loved how beautifully this is written by the author. Kudos on a great book! I loved how romantic everything in life never is for these characters that come together to save one another. Love always prevails as they attempt to help one another heal not only from life’s circumstances for them but this couple manages to overcome it to not only become better people but a better couple as well. What’s not only entertaining but also inspiring is how well it’s written but the wonderful characters are the way they come together for one another almost at the perfect time in their lives. This is a happily-ever-after love story that’s easy to read and a great page turner.

I absolutely love this story! It is filled with wishes, lost hope and amazing characters. This really pulled me in from the beginning and I could arely put it down. Each page I flipped drew me more into the lives of these two. Matt, who feels relationships with women are a terrible idea since they only let you down. I am thrilled we got chapters with his thoughts and feelings otherwise I would have labeled him a emotional jerk. Then there is Emilia who feels like everything in her life she fails at. She tries very hard to do the right thing only to let others and herself down. She wants people to love and recognize her for herself not her famous name. These two have a one night stand expecting to never see each other again but the universe has other plans for them.
This story brought me chills of delight as well as goosebumps from the desperation. I enjoyed and *felt* Each characters as they worked their way through this tricky development. Secondary characters are wonderful and full. This makes me want to delve more into this hockey series.
This is my first book by this author. I am impressed with the flow and naturalness of the story and characters. I recommend this story for not just lovers of hockey themes but those who want a real story that goes along with it.

This book is one of those that has such strong characters to it that the story is definitely all about them. I loved Emilia and Matt. They were so interesting to read about. They had such a believable chemistry between them. I knew immediately that I wanted these to characters to find their happy ending because they just felt so right together. This is the first book that I have read by this author and I have to say I really enjoyed the writing style. The whole book had a really good pace about it. I’m so glad that I picked up this read! This is my first read from this author and won’t be my last! While hockey isn’t a go-to sport I watch or even know about, 1 I thought I might learn about somethings, and 2 it’s a romance read and being a go-to favourite genre of mine I jumped at the chance. Being the second book in a series I thought I might lose the flow of the story and not know the characters but I had no problem connecting with the story or the characters. This read flowed brilliantly from start to finish and had me hooked from the start. I absolutely loved the characters I connected with them immediately and couldn’t wait to see these characters journey through the read. I can’t wait to read more from this author and see where she takes the rest of this series, but until then I’m going to go back and read Book 1 and dive into this authors world again!

Center of Gravity is the 2nd book in the Ice Tigers Hockey Romance Series by Isabella Cassazza. Each book can be read as a standalone but centre around a hockey team so characters will reoccur. I hadn’t read the first book in this series before reading this one but now that I have read the blurb of the 1st book I NEED to read it ASAP. One thing I don’t usually mention when writing a review is the cover of a book but as this book has the beautiful Kamil Nizinski on the cover, it’s certainly worth a mention. He’s definitely a good muse to have when picturing Matt. Matt is the captain of the Ice Tigers hockey team and is focussed on winning the Stanley Cup with his team. Emilia Ravelli is the new GM who just happens to have a bit of history with Matt and her appointment just might make Matt lose some of that focus. I loved Matt and Emilia’s story. It’s filled with so much emotion. This book really tugs at the heart strings, particularly Matt’s relationship with his family. Emilia also has a difficult family relationship which adds to the stress she is under trying to prove to her family that she is a valued member of the family business. I really loved the story line of this book. The author reels you in from the very start and doesn’t let you go. This is definitely a page turner. I couldn’t wait to see how Matt and Emilia’s story turned out and now I want to read more of this series.

After being betrayed, Matt finds himself in Italy. There, he has a one-night stand with a hot Italian woman before heading back to the US where his life is. More importantly…that’s where his hockey team is. As a member of the Ice Tigers, his focus is on winning the next game and winning the cup.
Emilia is sent to Boston to run the Ice Tigers. Her grandfathers expects her to be successful and get the team to the finals. Imagine Isabella’s surprise when her one-night stand from back home is listed as a player on the team. She and Matt need to talk, because their lives are about to be turned upside down. However, Matt wants nothing to do with Emilia or the news she brings to his doorstep.
This book was interesting to read. There is so much going on behind closed doors and behind the scenes that brings depth to characters that otherwise seem shallow on the outside. I enjoyed watching Emilia not only fight to prove herself to her family…but also to herself. And Matt has been burned in the past and does what he feels he has to in order to protect himself. I found their back and forth banter to be entertaining, while I was rooting for to get their acts together along the way. A good addition to the Ice Tigers series that I enjoyed reading.

I love a good sports romance and it’s been a while since I read one so when I came across this book I liked the sound of the synopsis so decided to give it a go. The author is new to me also and I wasn’t disappointed at all. I t had everything that I love in a sports romance, a nice storyline, great characters a bit of angst and more. I really liked Emilia, she tried so hard to get her Grandfathers approval but nothing seemed enough. I did really feel for her at times. I really loved the setting for the story too, I love Italy and I love stories set there, I’m sure sometimes just stories just being set there makes them even more romantic! Even though this is the second book in the series it can be read as a standalone which I did, I however definitely want to read the first book now! A great read that I highly recommend!

This is my first read by this author, while it’s the second in this series I was able to read it with no problems without having read the first. What a great story. I love hockey books so this was right up my alley. And the characters had me hooked to every page. I was fully invested in this book and everything around me ceased to exist, sorry kids, until I finished. I will be going back and reading book one to get this series from the beginning.

I loved reading the story Center of Gravity (An Ice Tigers Hockey Romance Book 2) by Isabella Cassazza. It is a book that pulled me in from the beginning and I was hooked. It is an amazing romance story that had me not wanting to put it down until the final page. I loved the characters of Emilia Ravelli and Matt Walker. They have chemistry together. Will they get a HEA? Read this book to find out. My emotions went up and down the entire time I was reading this story. The story has heartwarming and romantic moments. Some moments had me smiling or laughing out loud. I also enjoyed reading about the additional characters who interacted with Emilia and Matt. I enjoyed how the Ice Tigers worked as a team and how they supported each other. Don’t miss out on an exciting and entertaining book. I would highly recommend reading it.

I enjoyed this friends to lovers hockey romance story. This is not my first book by this author but it is one of my favorites by her. This is a story that is about one magical night but everything has a consequence even if it is magical. This is Emilia and Matt’s story. They are well developed characters that brought the story to life. They made the story easy to read and really made the story pop for me. They pulled me into their story with ease and kept me engaged to the end. They both seem to be lost, will one of them save the other? Will Matt realize there is more to life than just hockey? Their chemistry is strong and they heat up the pages. I highly recommend this book and this author. You don’t want to miss this one!
