This cozy small town romance/ mystery is definitely an intriguing one. The plot has a great mix of mystery, drama, murder, suspended and more. I found myself sitting down to start this cozy mystery and being half way done with it before I even noticed. The character development was perfect, the plot interesting, and of course the beautiful cover is what drew me to the book right away. I thoroughly enjoyed this modern tame if Pride and Prejudice. It felt like the classic book and yet at the same time felt fresh and new. The characters were a great part of this story, drawing you as the reader in. They matched perfectly with the story and made it much more interesting. I enjoyed the mix of British and American. It was entertaining to read and kept the book feeling revived. I thought this was a great re-imagining by the the author and I am looking forward to the next book.

Omg this was an amazing Thriller. I have loved the books by this author from the first one I’ve read and this one is so good. The author does an amazing job of creating a story that is suspenseful and keeps the reader really gripped. The twists and turns keep you on the edge of your seat not wanting to stop reading until you find out the ending.
In this story we are with Angie. What started out as a holiday with her friends turns into a nightmare when they are kidnapped. Angie manages to escape but that’s where things go from bad to worse. After returning to the car with police her 3 friends are found dead and Angie is the number 1 suspect. Angie trys to explain about the kidnapper but with no evidence of anyone else being involved the police don’t believe her. All this trauma causes Angie’s body to shut down and she loses the ability to talk and tell her side of the story.
When FBI Agent Brenda Reynolds comes to see her she realises the only way to get this kidnapper is to get Angie to talk but that is no simple task.
Now it’s a race against time as the kidnapper/killer is still out there and has his eye on Angie. He won’t settle until he gets the girl that got away. Will Angie find her voice before its too late? Will she be able to give a description of the kidnapper or will the trauma she suffered be too great for her to remember anything? And will the kidnapper succeed in his tasks of getting his revenge on Angie?

I thoroughly enjoyed Taylor’s Law by Jennifer Raines. There was a depth to the story that you do not always find. I enjoyed reading the changes that each of the main characters go through allowing them to not only grow as a person but also allow themselves to go after what they truly want. I would recommend this book; it is worth the read.

What can I say but I really enjoyed reading this book. I love romances in general and this was just a really good read. I like how there is the sense of confliction and it was not predictable. The author does a good job of writing in enough drama to help balance out the romance and keep the reader glued. I certainly didn’t want to put it down.
The characters have a great chemistry and it helps to enrich the book. The totally different personas of the main characters makes it more down to earth and easy to relate to. I will certainly be reading more from this author .

Kiss a Thief is a fast-paced contemporary romance with some mystery and angst thrown in! Once you begin the first few pages, buckle up because it is going to be a fast, bumpy, but thoroughly enjoyable ride!
Our story opens up in an art gallery where Mia works for the boss from hell. She is just paying her dues, hoping one day to open her own gallery. In walks the sexy billionaire Dylan Knight who captures her attention when she sees him admiring a piece of art. What begins as a sexy flirtation turns to lust and then much more! Yet, their road to happiness will be full of bumps, and I found myself rooting so hard for this couple, hoping they would get their HEA.
I was expecting a steamy romance, but what I wasn’t expecting was the great suspense and adventure which just added more layers to the book. Without spoiling anything, that little twist added trust issues for both characters, and that, in turn, added more layers and made the characters multi-faceted and complex. Caged Fire is a story that is filled with werewolves, action and romance. Emvee thought that she had lost her family but it turns out that they were captured by the Overlord. The Overlord is the villian in this story who wants to take over the Earth Realm and the Void where humans and people with magical abilties get trapped. There is a lot of lore in this story that is unique such as the women being soul trainers who are strong, fierce warriors. Whereas, the men are soul thiefs who are forced to do the Overlord’s bidding. Unlike most romance stories, there is alot of action in this book but the fight scenes were very cool and descriptive. Emvee and Kayson’s relationship develops throughout the story. So when the time comes for them to finally be together, the reader can give a deep sigh of relief. Caged Fire is a great book for someone who loves action movies and the paranormal.

This story takes off on page one. The girls are out enjoying the evening when they are kidnapped. Angie is the designated driver, and the other girls are about to pass out. The writing is clear and bone chilling. The characters are likable and your heart will go out for Angie. This is a must read suspenseful story you can’t miss out on. I really enjoyed traveling back in time to 15th Century England and felt as though I was there with the characters. I enjoyed following the journey of young Isabel as she navigated her way through the customs of the time-period. I could feel her inner struggles as she tried to deal with the overwhelming emotions she experienced while trying to please everyone around her. How difficult it must have been for her to be forced into a marriage to a man she did not love because that man that was chosen for her by her father. I sensed the raw emotions she was feeling as though she had no choice but to do what was best for their society and for both families. I enjoyed the storyline, the plot, and the world building. This book was a magical read that contained drama, love, romance, and heroines and heroes. I highly recommend!

Demon hunter and a twist This was a brilliant read – I totally enjoyed every moment. Rovena is a a kick-ass demon hunter and the battles (both physical and emotional) were delivered well. With mystery, suspense, witty banter and of course demon hunting there is so much to love about this book and so much more left to explore for the rest of the series. I can’t wait.

Caged Fire is the first book in The Vigilant Series and is a YA/Fantasy that once you start reading there’s no putting it down until you’ve finished. This pucks up right where the prequel left us. There’s twists and turns that had me turning the pages trying to figure out what was going to happen next. This is a fast paced story packed with action, suspense, drama and romance. EmVee is a badass plain and simple. She was changed by dark magic and is going through changes she doesn’t quite understand. She’s trying to figure everything out and at one point has to visit the past. This is a wonderfully written story that has a lot going on at once. But man what an adventure. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I can’t wait for the second book. I’m very intrigued to see how this all plays out.

I have read every book Mark has written. I fell in love with his Jake Wolfe series. I was so excited to see he has a new book out and didn’t wait to get my hands on it.
The Girl Who Escaped is another amazing crime, thriller, mystery from this author. Mark always delivers great narrative and vivid details and cleverly woven threads that draw you into the story. The adventure does not let up and continues all the way through this enticing and enthralling, thrill ride. The nonstop tension and suspense are palpable. It was good to see Jake and Cody make an appearance. They are two of my favourite characters.
Angie is trapped in a world of terror, trauma and fear but she is unable to find her way out of this dark, dark hole she finds herself in.
I hope this turns into a series. I for one will be chopping on the bit to grab whatever comes next.

Amber Waves of Grace is a story about a girl who moves back home after her fathers accident, to help with the family farm. When she moves home, she has more obstacles than keeping the farm going. Her old love that did not end well, is now the pastor of her church. While old emotions and memories are coming to the surface, she is also starting to have new feelings for her ex’s older brother. I can’t say enough good things about this book. I really enjoyed it right from the beginning. The characters are very well developed and there is a lot more to the story than a simple love triangle. There is mystery and sabotage. Laughter and tears. I highly recommend this book and I can not wait to read more from this very talented author.
The story was exceptional and nothing like I expected! This author took me on such a wild ride, and every portion of this book was amazing. Our female main character was completely bad a**. Demons, danger, violence, supernatural, the occult, and so much action all in one sitting. This book was one I would read more than once, and more than twice. Watching Rovena and the depth she goes to to keep this one demon corpse alive when normally her job is to make sure they stay dead was such a fun ride. Book one was amazing and book 2 cannot get here soon enough

Stitch By Stitch is the debut novel from Marie- Thérèse Hernon. It is a bit of a cozy mystery- written in a women’s fiction style, with a small town setting, murder, drama, and family- while giving us a interesting snap-shot into suburban life. Elisabeth is desperately trying to get her life back on track and to make ends meet after divorce leaves her financially strapped. With her children to support, Elizabeth goes against her better judgement, she maxes out her credit card on a new business venture that she hopes will solve all her problems. But murder puts her plans into tail-spin, leaving her with more worries to contend with. Add to the mix the fact that the detective investigating the murder just happens to be the guy who broke her heart back in high school. Another problem to add to her mounting pile. What happens here certainly makes for an intriguing read. Looking forward to more from Ms. Hernon in the future… Happy Reading!

My first book by this other and I can’t wait to see what else was written. Instantly hooked. I can’t believe I missed out on this author for so long. I love how she deals with real-world problems in a gentle way. Even though I hadn’t read other books by this author I never felt like I was missing out on anything. I was pleasantly surprised at the depth of this book & how much I enjoyed it. Corrie Lancaster leaves the life she had built for herself and returns to the family farm after a tragic accident leaves her dad with a brain injury and unable to man the farm. It’s harvest time when Corrie returns, however she is short staffed—that is until the Tuttle brothers step up & offer to help run the farm. Luke Tuttle, was “the one” in Corrie’s mind, until he left her broken-hearted. Corrie is still angry & hurt and the way Luke ended the relationship and is having a hard time putting the past behind her. Luke’s older brother Aaron, is a rock and seems to be there every step of the way for Corrie, regardless of the circumstances. While there is no denying the attraction between the two, Corrie isn’t sure if she can put her heart in the hands of another Tuttle and trust that she won’t end up devastated once again. Excellent read! Highly recommend.

Cute, fun read that teaches children science concepts without making it appear to be learning. My 10yr old enjoyed the story and was excited to test out his own water magnifying glass, while my 18 month grandbaby was equally engaged with the beautiful illustrations presented throughout the book! In this third installment of Trezzie and her friends, the group uncovers some fossils, which Wickstrom brings to life for the children with her informative discussion and phenomenal illustrations. Highly recommend for all kiddos. My boys are excited to read the first two books in the series (although each is perfect as a stand alone story).

Phenomenal love story—the love everyone wishes that they had! I loved this book so much! Leaves the reader feeling all the feels & believing that soulmates really do exist! First book I’ve read from Kristina Beck, but absolutely won’t be my last. I can’t wait to find another one of her gems to dive into. Divorced & pregnant, Katrina Klenkos moves to a quaint, small town in PA….hopeful to regroup & raise her baby, far away from her previous life. Kat feels that she has FINALLY found “home”, and is determined to give her precious baby a life very different than she had. TJ, a former NFL star, returns to Golden Crest after hanging up his football cleats! TJ is enjoying retirement teaching & coaching at the high school he attended, however something is missing from his life. When TJ & Kat’s paths cross, there is an immediate attraction, and a feeling of knowing they can’t explain. While the fire continues to simmer among these two characters, there are some twists & turns that occur which could prevent them both with having the “happily ever after” they both so desperately desire.

I haven’t found many MM romances I like but I loved Watcher. A new twist on “Romeo & Juliet” leaves you wanting more. I started it and didn’t put it down till I was finished. A war has been going on for years between the Messenger and the watchers and demons. The Messengers view both as an abomination. Everything that’s wrong with society. The Messenger ChanCellor Astra wants to bring peace and end the fighting/bloodshed between them. Unfortunately there’s some among her ranks who don’t agree. Xavier would end all watchers and demons if it was up to him. Now that his ex-lover Cyrus has been assigned to Nova he hopes to have him in his corner. Cyrus on the other hand has caught the eye of watcher Jace. It’s a beautiful love affair, essentially love at first site. Some misunderstandings between the two early on, but no prejudice on either side. They view each other as equals in the celestial world, despite watchers being the fallen. What happens when Xavier finds out? Do Cyrus and Jace stand a chance? It’s not your everyday romance novel, but it’s a very good and well written one at that! Take a chance!
Paige is a New York art curator who comes across this beautiful painting and she just has to know the artist. Her boss is able to locate the artist and sends Paige to the beautiful scenery of Montana to convince him to showcase in their gallery. Paige meets up with Mark who makes no qualms in telling her that he is not interested in any way, shape, or form of being an artist in their gallery. He doesn’t, however, hide his immediate interest in Paige.
I loved this super quick read and would recommend this author. It’s the first book I’ve read of hers but her characters are loveable and relatable. The writing style has a great flow to it and is believable. I look forward to more of her work!
