Here’s another one! Naomi Valkyrie has got the key to writing an interesting, attention grabbing book. You really get pulled into this story and live it. The attention to detail is so thought out you can really feel the moments. I have enjoyed all the books before this one. But this one is taking the lead. Characters and character development were great. There was action and mystery. The author really gives you a taste of everything in this story. I love paranormal stories and this one doesn’t disappoint. You laugh and want to throw your phone. We follow Oren a demon hunter and Teivel a demon. There is romance so don’t think she forgot to add that. This one will make you laugh a lot. Very excited for the next book.

Mythical Alliance: Phoenix Team: the Complete Season by Claire Luana was a fast paced supernatural read. I loved all the individual episodes tying into the main story. I don’t usually read fast paced stories but I felt like this had a really good balance of development and detail. I loved the action, adventure, mystery, and supernatural elements being blended together. I want this series to never end, this needs to just continue infinitetly.

I loved reading the story Havall 16 by A. J. Ullman. It is a book that includes action, danger, and made me think “What would I do in the same situation?” I loved the storyline and the characters. Two of the really interesting characters are Tommy Canada and Havall 16. The story is one that would be considered sci-fi and had me turning pages to find out what was going to happen next. The author does a wonderful job of making the story and the characters come alive. This is one book I didn’t want to put down. I have always loved sci-fi books, so this is a story that was both interesting and intriguing. I found that the end of the book came too soon. What does the future hold for the characters? Read this book to find out! I highly recommend reading it.

Whoop got to love me a little bit of sci-fi and time travel, honestly, they are right up my alley, my jam on toast, cannot tell you the amount of book I have in this genre littering my shelves. As you can probably guess I was dead excited to get into reading this and as tickled pink when I did because it is all I hope for and more. Ullman has truly worked magic here, making something that has been done a considerable amount feel new and fresh. I literally couldn’t put this town, every time I reached the end of a chapter, I had this desperation to find out what happened next. I’ll admit it caused a lot of injuries as I walked into various bits of furniture, trying to read and pretend to be doing something slightly resembling housework.
Tommy and his partner Win are on to a winner (couldn’t resist) in the fact that they have worked out how to solve the pesky little issue of mortality. They’ve hit the motherload and are quids in for a nice cushty future, full of fame and boatloads of money. However, Tommy receives a visit from Havall 16, who happens to be from the future that Tommy and Win’s invention has created and it’s not super great. She wants him to stop what he’s doing, ending all their research and production before it can have a chance to take off and create a world where so many people live in poverty. This story deals with some interesting, thought-provoking topics, such as our mortality, the fact that something has to end, is what makes it so precious and wonderful and that immortality sounds great when you have a cushty life to live forever.
This is a really awesome write that I highly recommend to anyone, you won’t be disappointed.

I just can’t believe how much I loved this story. I really was looking forward to Seb’s and I was worried it might be too dark. I was bothered for no reason. I was concerned he would be self centered but nope…Seb is just the nicest, sweetest guy. I enjoyed getting to know a bit more about him. Maelie is exactly what he needs. I could see it coming about as they got to know each other. I really could feel the connection between these two.

I love love LOVED all the great scenes with his brothers and family. The fun and teasing makes me just smile fondly and I just soak it up. I have a few fun passages highlighted just as a reminder how thankful I was to get to know this family.

This author does a good job of making me enjoy the book as well as fall for these characters. The is a last book of a wonderful series. It you want a light hearted story and leaves you with the feel-good fuzzies….pick this or this series up.

Hell In A Handbasket by Naomi Valkyrie is the third book in the Life Is Hell series. This is another absolutely fantastic addition to such an incredible series. I was to excited to start reading this book after after enjoying the previous two so much. This book immediately became my favourite of the series – if not one of my favourites from the author. I love how connected I feel to all the characters, how that relationship has been built up from book 1 to now. It makes it so easy to slip straight back into their story, to feel like you are right there with them.
This book was just so well written. There was a level of detail in it that you don’t see from many books. I found myself so caught up in what was happening that I didn’t expect the twist when it came.
If you aren’t yet familiar with this author or this series I would suggest rectifying they today – you definitely won’t regret it.

This is the first book in the Being Me series. This is a Contemporary Romance book coming in at just under 400 pages. This story follows Amanda, a freshman college student, and Doug, the senior college fraternity president. She begrudgingly goes to a frat party with her friend and sets her eyes on a hottie. Unfortunately, he does not seem interested. Later, she gets injured playing volleyball and the same hottie from the frat party offers to take care of her. Unfortunately for her, she does not have a choice. She hates having to depend on people, but she needs someone to help her after her injury. Amanda is starting to have feelings for him, but he seems withdrawn towards her. What is his problem?

I want to start this off by saying i don’t usually read Sci-Fi, But this took me on a journey, and i was hooked from the very start of this book. The blurb and cover art caught my attention, and suffice to say, the author sure knew how to keep it. This book is definitely one of my new favorites, Having deeply reminded me of some of my favorite series when i was younger. I absolutely loved this book, this authors attention to detail, the character development, all of it from start to beginning! I recommend this book wholeheartedly, and can’t want to get my hands on more from this author!

I love how the attraction between the main character’s is there right from the start I mean you can feel it gravitating of the page it’s certainly intense! Coyote Summer – Laura Koerber

Coyote Summer is truly the most unique book I’ve read in a very long time. It’s a coming-of-age story full of unexpected, intriguing and surprising moments. The story is written from the main characters POV, and I thought the author did a great job in portraying the young man’s thoughts and feelings. They seemed really true and honest for someone with his status and age.

Though I enjoyed this book I did at times feel lost and unsure of how everything was going to be connected as there are some magical realism aspects thrown into the storyline. They certainly weren’t my favorite part but they definitely kept me intrigued the whole way through.

I really enjoyed how this story kept me on my toes and had me feeling all kinds of emotions from start to finish. It’s a story I’ll never forget!

The 3rd book in the series. Mandy gives readers everything you want in a romance book yet again. This is a a great read and if you like some steamy action that leaves yoiur heart pounding this is a book for you. I really like getting to know all the Adams Brothers. Tension talk about the tension between Maelie and Sebastian from the start to finish. Who knew one kiss could turn into all this desire. Great job Mindy McKinley-I can’t wait to read more from you.

I enjoyed this story. It may be a trigger for some but if you are able to get past the subject, it truly is a great story. This is a story about a group of kids that society expected to be promident adults like their parents. What will happen when one tragic incident changes things for them? This story is written with a lot of emotion and I felt that through the characters as they bring the story to life. I had no problems connecting with them as they go through consequences of one person’s actions. I really enjoyed this story and I highly recommend it.

This is my first read by this author, and what an epic story to get me started! This was a brilliant paranormal romance read, with a mentally visual storyline and epic characters that really pull you in and connect you with the story. This read was fast-paced, action packed and captivating from the get go! I absolutely loved these characters and watching them grow and develop throughout the read, they have incredible chemistry and a connection that is undeniable. I loved the weave of magic, history and romance and it left me wanting more! I highly recommend this read.

A Sun So Bright is the third book in the Reigning Hearts Series by K.G Fletcher. I absolutely loved this book and listening to it was even better than when I read it. This author never ceases to amaze me her style of writing is simply amazing and her characters are fun, relatable and fully developed. This is Fiona and Chris’s story . Fiona comes up with a plan to hire a boyfriend to attend the functions with her so she’s not going alone. Chris is a guy who is living with his mom and saving money for his own house some day. He’s a bar tender. These two holy cow the attraction is there but Fiona is not wanting to admit. What will happen when secrets come out? Can these two have a future together? I highly recommend reading or listening to this book. I can’t wait to listen to more of this authors stories.

RB has grasped all the elements needed that will drive the readers wild and make this book a best seller.

Kendyll and Vance childhood sweethearts is that passion still there.
Well that was a little bit of a surprise. Vance to be honest I don’t like his character or attitude. This book had many twist and turns to be honest it took me a few chapters to get into it. It a very clean Romance and adds in dark elements relating to slavery which was unexpected. I wish there was more to this story as I felt the ending was abrupt.

Coyote Summer by Laura Koerber is another original story with plenty of thought provoking content. Again, Ms. Koerber brings a realism and complete believability to her story- making you feel as if this actually happened. I was completely engrossed right off the bat.
The story does centre around a sensitive topic, rape- but Ms. Koerber doesn’t use it gratuitously, but it is central to the story as a whole. This is ultimately a magical realism coming of age story- with drama, angst, and a first-person POV.
Ms. Koerber takes a different approach here, giving us the perspective of the male witness to a rape, Ben- as he struggles with what he saw, did, and didn’t do. His struggle with how to deal with it all is what really sets this book apart, and made for an intriguing read.
This story is an unusual blend of a character study, fantasy, coming of age, crime, a little mystery, and magical realism. I wasn’t sure of what I would make of it when I purchased it- but having read some of the author’s previous work I thought I would take a chance, and I am glad that I did.

Hungry Business: A Short Story by Maria DeBlassie. This is a very short story- but with Ms. DeBlassie’s clever touches, it feels like a much longer novel- in the best possible way. The story is original, interesting, and a little quirky. I felt this was a little bit of a tongue in cheek look at loneliness and the lengths people will go to find ‘the one’- even in the aftermath of a Zombie pandemic. But, on a side note- I personally don’t think that people have to be ‘Zombies’ to display the characteristics/actions our MC comes up against in her quest for love (lol).
Ms. DeBlassie paints a vivid picture- her world building talents coming to the fore. She has a bold and dynamic style that takes hold of your imagination and pulls you into the story- tugging you along for the ride. Her attention to detail and rich descriptions adds to the texture and visual quality of her work.
This was such an intriguing piece- with things left a little ‘open’ for more. So I really hope Ms. DeBlassie revisits this in the future as I feel there is a bigger story to be told- and I am hungry for more.

Gunner is the sixth book in the Eidolon Black Ops series by Maddie Wade. This is a romantic suspense- with plenty of drama, action, adventure, danger, chemistry, surprising developments, thrills, intrigue, mystery, romance, redemption, and emotion. I have read quite a few of Ms. Wades stories now and have a pretty good idea of what to expect- but she always manages to keep things interesting and fresh. From the very first page, until the last word, I was hooked- I couldn’t put it down and read it in one sitting, loving every minute.
This story also pulls together threads from previous books, as well as dealing with the underlying storyline which has bridged the series. There is so much that comes to light- bringing plenty of emotion with it.
I really felt for Gunner and what he’d been through- he’s carried so much guilt, grief, and self-loathing for so long- and the secrets/truths that are revealed brought so much perspective- and made me see things in a new light.
Loved Gunner and Lacey so much!
Can’t wait to see what Ms. Wade has in store for us next!

Wade hits it out of the park with this one! This author is an automatic one click for me – this book was a page turner from beginning to end. Gunner and Lacey were a couple of fantastic characters to follow. Wade always has just the right amount of suspense and drama and romance unfold. This book is a must read!

Gunner (Eidolon Black Ops #6) by Maddie Wade was a great 5 star read.
I was excited to finally get Gunner’s story.

This was a heart wrenching story, especially when we learn more about why Gunner made the choices he did. Lacey originally met Gunner when the Eidolon team saved her from her ex. When they come face-to-face again you can feel the connection between them.

Can Lacey and Gunner move forward from their pasts and have a HEA? Will the Eidolon team forgive Gunner for his choices?

Overall this was a great read. My emotions were all over the place. We get suspense, drama, action and so much more. All of the characters added a great element to the story. We also get lots of twists and turns. The author does a great job of pulling you in with her writing. This can be read as a stand alone but I highly suggest reading from the beginning so you can meet all of the characters. If you’re looking for a great series, 1-click and get started on this one today.

Mythical Alliance is six books of fantastic fantasy by Claire Luana. This book is great because we get a complete story that is broken down in six shorter reads. This is not my first book by Ms. Luana, but it is my new favorite. I enjoyed the storyline, it was full of action, adventure and mystery. I was hooked through the whole series. The characters and world building is so descriptive, it make you feel like you are there next to Zariya, helping to solve the mystery of her father’s death. The story flowed smoothly and the witty banter had me laughing out loud. If you love a good paranormal fantasy, this is a great book for you.

Is This Me? (Being Me Book 1) by Tricia Copeland. I’ve recently been introduced to this awesome author and I’ve enjoyed most I’ve read so far, but I have to say this is probably my favorite so far. The characters are complex and relatable, they easily pulled me right into their world. I liked getting lost in this story, it’s a wonderful coming of age story that kept me engaged the entire book. Couldn’t put this one down. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. Coming of age books can sometimes make me frustrated because the characters do things that make me want to smack them but I also think that’s a true feeling on how well the story is written because you feel strongly. I’m excited to see where the author takes readers next. Four stars and highly recommended.

Ride with the Moonlight (Thunder on the Moor Book 2) by Andrea Matthews was amazing. This is the second book in this series and I definitely recommend reading the first book before this one. I was so excited for this book after reading the first. You find romance, time travel, fantasy, action and adventure along with so much more. This book continues the journey of Maggie and Will, but can they stay safe? How will things work during their journey together? I became so hooked on this book, the way the author brings it to life is amazing, and then the characters no matter who they are, are amazing!!! I love this and I can’t wait to see what comes next.

Hungry Business: A Short Story by Maria DeBlassie. I’ll be honest I wasn’t sure what I’d think of this short story but I mean come on that cover was definitely intriguing and even though it’s short this author still brought the A game. This was a great in between book to spend a little time with. Characters had no problem drawing me in no matter how short this story was. It’s a great read and I think it’s definitely worth a read by all who love reading. Well written and paced nicely which may seem silly since it’s short but the author didn’t rush through it and it shows. Four stars and highly recommended.

Black Dog Rising by Kat Caulberg. This was a new author for me and I’m definitely looking forward to more from her. This book was packed with adventure, mystery and drama. When it comes to this genre of books I have to be really in the mood but I found myself easily drawn into this storyline and couldn’t put it down. The characters are complex and well developed, they captured my attention straight away and I couldn’t stop. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. Even with so much happening it never feels bogged down and heavy. I loved going on this adventure with the characters and I’m excited to see more from this author. Five stars all the way and highly recommended.

Mythical Alliance: Phoenix Team: The Complete Season by Claire Luana. Wow just wow I’m finding it hard to find the words on how good this was. The author really has a way with words and creative story worlds. I completely fell into this story so easily which surprised me a bit because sometimes I find it hard to focus with this genre but that definitely wasn’t a problem here, I found myself completely lost in it’s pages and what an adventure it was to be on. The characters are complex and well developed. This set is full to the brims with action, mystery and so much more. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. Excited to see where this author takes readers next. Four stars and highly recommended.
