Being Lost by Manda Mellett is the first book in the Satan’s Devils MC San Diego series. This is yet again the start of an amazing series by a brilliant author. Every time I pick up a book by this author I know I am going to absolutely love it. This book has everything I have come to expect from her books – strong and engaging characters with an interesting story line to back them up. The thing I liked the most about this book is that the author created such relatable characters who were also older. It isn’t too often you see an author try this and succeed and yet this author pulls it off with ease. I was instantly drawn to them and was sucked into the story. I found myself flying through this book and really didn’t want it end. This is another strong start and I am already looking forward to what else is to come.

Be One With Me is the 2nd book in the Finding Love In Green Springs series by C.A. Micone. Each book in this series can be read as a stand-alone. I had not read the first book in this series and did not feel as if I was missing any necessary information. The book starts with Sally grieving the death of her mother from cancer. A shock confession on her deathbed has Sally reeling from the realisation that the father she always thought was dead was actually still alive. On finding her long lost father, Sally moves to Green Springs to be with her new family. One person she meets here is Nolan, a man who is coming to terms with his own wife’s death from cancer. Sally and Nolan are total opposites. Sally is from the city, whereas Nolan is a country boy at heart. But they do say that opposites attract. Can the fact that both are coming to terms with the loss of a loved one to cancer bring these two together? I loved Sally and Nolan’s story. Both are still hurting so much. Sally is also struggling to recover from a brutal attack on her just before she left the city. This book will take you through so many emotions. There’s tears and loss, fun and laughter, drama and a great storyline that will keep you want to keep reading. I really enjoyed Sally and Nolan’s story and I’m sure many others will enjoy it too.

Be One with Me is the second novel in the Finding Love in Green Springs series. It follows Nolan and Sally who we met in the first novel, Be Brave with Me.
Sally is a city girl. Her whole life was in Chicago, her mother, her store, her life. But when her mother passes away and drops a shocking piece of information before her last breath, Sally has a goal. A goal to not be alone in the world anymore.
Nolan Green is part of Green Springs founding families. He owns and runs the auto shop in town. When he gets the call for a tow one day, he meets the most beautiful woman. Someone who isn’t from Mississippi. Quickly he finds out though that hid southern boy charm may not work on the only woman that has peaked his interest in years.
I really enjoyed Nolan and Sally’s stories and getting to know more of the Green Springs world. I loved that this story was happening at the same time as the first, so you still got a glimpse of Meg and Drew. I cannot wait for the next novel in the series!

This is a small town, second chance at love romance story by Lucinda Race, and is a sweet and inspiring read which took me on a rollercoaster of emotions whilst reading it. Widowed matchmaker Melinda Phillips wants everyone to experience the kind of love she had with her husband and sadly lost. However Melinda has vowed never to date again, and meanwhile handsome Marine Adam Bell has sworn to hide his handicap forever. Adam was injured whilst serving in the Marines and had his leg amputated which is a constant reminder of his war years. Melinda’s job is matching up perfect couples and her business is thriving and she is in demand. Adam’s girlfriend rejected him following his amputation and now he is determined to protect his heart fiercely. The two meet when Melinda trips over at a client’s wedding right into the arms of a sexy Marine, Adam. Following Adams chivalrous rescue whilst at a friend’s wedding he suddenly wonders if he’s given up on love too soon and signs up for Melinda’s services. Melinda discovers that Adam’s ideal candidate is actually herself and the pair start to date and soon their relationship is blossoming. However Adam still believes that his hidden disfigurement will come between them. Melinda and Adam must overcome their traumatic pasts and take a chance at love and happiness for a second time. I loved the main characters, both Adam and Melinda were realistic and relatable, you could tell that they both had traumatic pasts and that their fear for the future was real. The chemistry between them sizzled off the page and I was cheering both on to their happy ever after.

This is a short story. One of those quick reads, to fill in that few moments you have to spare. Two young adults have one spot they both want. An old rundown mansion. Both of their reasons are valid, one has money and one does not. Will Griff and Casey come to an agreement? You will need to read this story and the others written by many authors.
This Anthology has many great stories and just as many great authors. The one thing I will take from Feisty Lawyers is the many new authors. I can add to my list of Must Read Books. Job well done Maggie Adams!

At this point Izzy and Kain seem perfectly normal teens, but when they get to Tompkin’s school strange things begin to happen to both of them. I loved that the plot was so fast moving yet didn’t feel rushed, and I got to enjoy this thrilling ride with the twins and their friends. Can’t wait for the next one!

Rebecca Steele Finding the Dream by Joanne Patterson a dreamy five-star read. This is number two in the Rebecca Steele series but they can all be read as stand-alone as I haven’t read number one and don’t feel like I’ve missed anything, but I do plan on going back and checking Chasing the dream as I enjoyed the style. This was one of those stories that will show you aspects of life that you don’t see, inspire us to take a chance. There are so many wonderful characters in this story, Becky herself obviously but secondary characters who brought the story alive. I also loved how the romance was sweet and honest, it added something to the story.

I loved this book. The story is a lovely romance and the characters are so likeable you just want them together from the start.
Sally lives with her mother in Chicago. She has a good life, a successful business but things start to go wrong. Her mother passes from cancer and on her death bed she informs Sally that her dad isn’t dead as she had been made to believe all her life.
After tracing her father and an event in Chicago that leaves her feeling unsafe she decides to move to Green Springs to be with her father and family.

His attraction to her is so strong but will the city girl fall for him or will she just see him as a country boy? Can two people from two different backgrounds come together and work?

Wrapped up in You by Erin Bevan a five-star read that you will get wrapped up into. I hadn’t read the synopsis of this one, so it was a wonderful winter surprise for me, this was so sweet and even though it’s a holiday read, it can be read at any time of the year especially if you need a sweet pick me up. The character names in this are crazy and will make you chuckle, and they are all so easy to relate to even if you have nothing in common. This will bring the magic to your life, there is something special about it, it transports you to a magical time. Logan made me smile with his quirks and memory issues, the whole will he be chosen just added to the overall drama of this story, and what a story.

What happens when you find out that your nightmares are actually real? This becomes true for Izara and Kain when they are sent to a boarding school in the middle of Oklahoma. The twins soon realize that the school is keeping a deadly secret, it is not everything that it claims to be. Powers emerge that they didn’t know they possessed. They need to unravel the mysteries of the school if they want to stay alive and time is running out.
This is a debut novel for this author and I think it’s a good start. There is some fine tuning that needs to be done but I think that she is an author to look out for in the future. I found the story to be unique and intriguing. The author never really explains exactly what the twins are and this is one of the things that kept me interested. I liked the characters a lot though I think there needs to be a little more character development in book two. I believe this will be an interesting trilogy and I’m looking forward to reading part two.

I absolutely love the San Diego chapter and I can not wait to get all of their stories. We knew Patsy’s back story for Ink and Beth’s book but to see her and Lost come together was great. I will wait patiently (not really) for the next book by Manda!!!! She has become one of my absolute favorite authors.

Boy on Hold by JD Spero is a Young Adult thriller that once I started reading I couldn’t stop till I finished. This is my first read by this Author but definitely not my last. The twists and turns had me on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what was going to happen next. Hen is a young boy who was out one night trying to catch a hedgehog but ended up seeing the murder of Miss Sally. What will happen when a prank turns into a violent crime? What will happen when the truth gets uncovered? What will happen to when Family secrets are exposed? This book may be for the young teens but adults can read especially if you like thriller/suspense. I can’t wait to read more from this Author. Highly recommend this book.

Martimus (Feisty Lawyers Book 5) by Seelie Kay was a great 5 star read. I was pulled in right from the beginning. This was a great quick read. There are socialites that have gone missing, which includes a former vice president’s daughter.
Who is involved? Can Cate and the team solve the mystery?
Cate goes undercover trying to get information on the missing. I loved her possessive boyfriend Hazelton, he isn’t really thrilled about all the men eyeing up Cate. He is a former Navy Seal and can be very intimidating.
We get twists and turns, action, mystery, suspense and so much more. You can read it as a stand alone but reading in order will help you connect with the characters better. IRRESISTIBLE WEDDINGS (Irresistible Romance Book 4) Anthology
This was so refreshing to read right now. Things aren’t currently in the best place and it was so easy to lose myself in the stories of romance and weddings.
The one story I’m going to spotlight is the first book Two Hearts’ Alliance by Tamara Ferguson.
I think I have read all of the books in her Two Hearts Wounded Warrior series and I have loved each and every one and this was no different. I love how the spotlight is on soldiers who were injured while protecting us while they rehab and try to figure out their next step is.
Christine and Jeremy are no different. They connect the moment they’re introduced, but the timing was off. They meet up further down the road and the sparks are still there.
There wasn’t a lot of angst or back and forth with this couple and it was so nice to have something happy to take my mind away from life.
Love and happiness is something that is much needed right now and I got a lot of that with this anthology.

Billiter does an amazing job tackling a difficult subject in this book and series. This second book is best read in series order. This book follows Aaron and Branson and David and explores schizophrenia. A difficult topic but an amazing exploration of relationships and mental health. I was glued to the pages and really enjoy Billiter collaborating with her son in this book. Extremely well done.

At this point I have only read Tamara Ferguson’s story and wow what a read! A marriage of convenience trying to be stopped by someone else. This was such a great story and I was hooked from beginning to end. I mean who doesn’t love wedding stories!?
This set has 9 standalone stories by 9 different authors and I cant wait to read the rest of them!
The Satan’s Devils world is probably one of the favorite series of books that I have ever read. They get better every time a new book is released. I feel like these guys are all a part of my family now…and I learn more about them as each book comes out. Lost is the President of the San Diego club. The previous President did the club dirty and they have been trying to recover ever since. Lost is still unsure if he is doing right by all the members that rely on him. Patsy has recently moved to San Diego to be with her son. They are starting over and no one is supposed to know who or where they are. When they find themselves in danger, Lost steps in to protect them. Both Lost and Patsy have been burned by their exes in the past…and are both hesitant to start something. I enjoyed the fact that they were older and had life experiences that shaped their characters. Manda Mellett has, once again, written an amazing book that I thoroughly enjoy. I am looking forward to the next book!

The Divided Twin is the second book in M. Billiter’s series Divided that her son Kyle contributed to heavily. I would not recommend you to read it as a standalone as it is the same family as in book one, it is simply that the first book it was Tara, the mother, who was the lead, and in this one it was her sons, the twins Aaron and Branson. By giving us their story, from their point of view, Mary took us into a different direction and also the tone of the story changed into much more ‘young adult’. If you have read the first book then you know that the series touches upon some very serious subject matters, the mental illness the most central one, and not only from the point of view of the person suffering it but also how it affects the whole family and their friends. As the writer has experience with this type of mental illness that is in the center stage of Divided through her son Kyle then it gets as real as it can and she approaches it all using facts and compassion that makes it even more real. There are twists and turns and I think it is really the second half of the book when the story got so ramped up that I was left destroyed by the end. I have to say it was hard to keep Branson and Aaron apart and quite often I had to go back to the beginning of the chapter to be reminded of whose head we were in but at the same time I do understand it as they were identical twins and they both suffered from the illness though it took slightly different shape and form from one twin to the other and one of them acknowledge and worked with it and the other one not … Thank you Mary and Kyle for tackling this taboo subject and sharing it with us! It is a story that will haunt me for days to come!

Boy On Hold by JD Spero was a great read! I was instantly enthralled in this novel, and couldn’t put it down! The imagery is amazing, the plot is great, the characters are incredible. I honestly felt like I was right there beside each and every character while I was reading this book. Not only is the crime part great, it was very thrilling and very psychological as well! I love reading books that have good psychology in them, and this one was no exception! This was the first novel I’ve read from Spero before, and I can’t wait to read more in the future!

This is a story to two broken people who just happen to be at the same place at the same time. This sweet story of finding love after being hurt. Heart of Malice by Lisa Edmonds is the first book in the Alice Worth series. It is an action packed book that will keep you on your toes. This is my first book by this author so I wasn’t sure what to expect going into the book. What I found was a well written story that was certainly interesting. I liked the whole escape from her past whole still using her powers. I did at times struggle with the character a little – I wish she could have been a little more tough and hold her own a bit better. However I do think she had a great depth and intrigue about her that kept my interest. This was an overall good book and I am looking forward to seeing whah the rest of the series holds.

Eagle of The Empire (Relic Hunters) by Martin Ferguson is a brilliant YA book that has a great story to keep you interested. For me this book highlighted a character with strength and determination to bring his brother home, even when it meant embracing a whole world he hadn’t known was real. The book is exciting and full of action. The author knows how to keep the pages turning. This is the first book I have read by this author and I loved the style he brings to the pages. This was a genuinely interesting book and I am looking forward to what else we might get to see.

There is more to Izara and Kain than meets the eye! Tabi Slick has done a wonderful job of taking us through the ever-changing, fast-paced journey of twins Izara and Kain. There’s plenty of twists and turns in the plot, which only fueled my desire to keep turning the page of their mystifying world. I didn’t always like, understand, or agree with Izara or Kain, but that is what made them more believable, more realistically flawed. Who knew, having a Nozzle for a father, and new (formally side piece secret) of a stepmother, sending you away could be the start of a fabulously magical life. This cliffhanger ending has got me definitely wanting to come back for more!

I was really looking forward to reading the second book in this series as the first one intrigued me so much and again I found it be a fascinating read. The twins, Aaron and Branson, are really complex characters and I have enjoyed trying to understand them. Again the book delves into mental health and I think the authors did a great job with writing about it. I loved all the twists and turns in the story – some of them very unexpected!! Overall a good read, not my usual genre but a good storyline and complex characters kept my interest throughout.

Martimus is the fifth book in the Feisty Lawyer’s series. You can read this as a standalone, but you’ll probably have a better experience if you read the previous ones to get the background on the other characters.
I like the premise of this book. I had a difficult time getting past the way the main character, Cate, was written when she has to slip into her undercover role. There is something about intelligent women acting less than their smarts that just grates on me when it is written in certain ways. Now, on the flip side of that, I did feel an emotion when I read those parts, so the author has definitely given you an emotional connection. In that respect, it is written in a way that does engage you.
Martimus is full of action, suspense, and mystery as the characters are searching for missing socialites. It also has some steamy romance to spice things up. The use of the underwater habitat was interesting and gives added dimension to the story.
Overall, once I got past my initial aversion to the previously mentioned aspect, it was an entertaining read and kept me turning the pages.

This anthology contains nine romantic and steamy stories by nine different best loved authors, all set around weddings. Two Hearts’ Alliance by Tamara Ferguson, introduces us to Christine Cameron and Jeremy Northrup who met when they were both injured in Iraq and having met up again at a mutual friends wedding they agree to a ‘wedding alliance’. However an unidentified enemy is determined to tear their marriage of convenience apart and it’s not long before the couple realise their marriage is much more than just an alliance, it could even be love. In Natalie Ann’s, Eternal, Brina Shepard and Nathan Randal have both sworn off romance and neither believe in happy ever afters, but when they meet they can not deny their mutual attraction and start to believe in love and marriage. Wedding at Firehouse Ranch by Suzanne Jenkins, introduces sweet, curvy Emily Porter to firefighter Paul Saint, can he conquer his fear of commitment for the women he shares mutual chemistry with. In Cynthia Cooke’s, All My Loving, Naomi and Andrew find themselves as best man and bridesmaid at a friends wedding and pretend to be an item to prevent Naomi’s ex from ruining the wedding. Jinx D’Alessio dreamed of having a big, dramatic, passionate love affair with a man whose very look would knock her off her feet. The only problem was, the only man who could do just that was one she could never have, Logan Bennett, in Make Me Burn, by Alicia Street. Chemistry sizzled off the page in Stephanie Queen’s, Playing With The Bridesmaid. Natalie is too young for Max and he has a lot of baggage, but when they are together nothing else matters. Abandoned baby twins and an almost-fiancée complicate Dr. Brian Dutton’s life to no end. Things become even more complicated for him when ex girlfriend Carla arrives back on the scene and helps him care for the twins, in Between Babies and Girlfriends by Mona Risk. Echo Farren ran away from Spencer Bryant once and he won’t let her do it a second time. Even it that means convincing her he’s the right groom when her real fiancé does not turn up to their wedding in Jen Talty’s, The Right Groom. The final story, Wedding Knot by Patrice Wilton is a heartwarming friends to lovers romance. Gabrielle Marquis decides that if she can not trust her Fiancé, than she will find one she can trust, Alberto Marino. This anthology really does have a story for everyone and I loved all the stories and it has introduced me to some new authors.

This is the 5th book in this series and I’ve read all of the books before. I love this series and this author’s style of writing, the way she can merge in storylines and although being a partly romantic series she has a way of making the romance only come forward when needed, while you’re focused on the suspenseful part of the series.
I really liked this one, and it was nice getting to see the gang again. I loved the lab under water and would have loved spending a whole lot more time down there, this fascinates me and loved this addition to the story.
I highly recommend reading all of this series since the characters are in and out of all the books, you’ll find that you love some and then some you’ll have a little less love for but as a whole it all works perfectly.
