Devils Due: Satans Devils MC (Colorado Chapter) #3
By Manda Mellett
5 out of 5 stars

This third book in the Colorado Chapter by Manda Mellett is just as exciting as the first! My interest is captured on the first few pages and I found that I couldn’t put it down. There are so many events that happen in this story that you won’t want to stop reading until you reach the end. The emotions in this book are so raw for the male character that I couldn’t help but to tear up. So, grab a cozy blanket, a cup of coffee, and dive in!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Pieces of a Lie by Rowena Holloway. It’s not often that I feel completely in the dark reading a story. I’m a girl who takes great pride in figuring out things fast but this book kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. I wasn’t sure what to expect and I loved every minute of it. The main characters are complex and relatable, the author writes them in a way that readers get so completely drawn into their world. From page one I knew I was in for quite the adventure with them. Every twist and turn had my head spinning in all the right was. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. If you’re looking for a book that keeps you guessing then go get this one right now. Five stars all the way and highly recommended. Can’t wait to see where the author takes readers next!

Devil’s Due: Satan’s Devils MC (Colorado Chapter #3) by Manda Mellett – Review by Randall Murphy
This book stands on its own but has characters best understood by reading the series in order. An enforcer is chosen from the mother chapter to help find the Colorado Prez find his new VP. But fate has other plans and the enforcer witnesses a hit and run that draws him into something bigger, romantically and dramatically. The characters continue to be ripe and authentic while still showing the various sides of what is perceived as a rough and hard-core group. The females are strong in their own rights and able to hold their own in the story. “Stevie,” the female lead, is written especially well. She’s easy to fall in love with and inspires others in the story and reading the story.

Imprisoned Online: Gaming the System (A LitRPG Adventure Book 1) by P.A. Wikoff – Review by Angela Hayes

Gaming the System (Imprisoned Online, #1)Gaming the System by P.A. Wikoff
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Imprisoned Online is the first book in the Gaming the System series by P.A. Wikoff. It is a sci-fi, futuristic fantasy story- with adventure, video gaming, role-playing, action, drama, virtual reality, twists, group play- that also has a bit of a dystopian feel to it too. I have read and enjoyed some of Mr. Wikoff’s other books and enjoyed them- and this one seemed quite intriguing-with the whole online gaming and prison synopsis, so I really wanted to find out where the story would lead. It has a bit of a TRON vibe to it, but is definitely an original story with it’s own identity and unique flare.
There is plenty of action, danger, and drama as the story unfolds. Seph’s world is interesting and certainly felt very ‘real’. He isn’t like other members of his society; he hasn’t lost himself in the gaming world- but then finds himself in an online jail- where he will need to learn and adapt very quickly- if he is to have any chance to survive. Player vs player to earn the experience points to ‘progress through the game’. So, will this non-gamer learn the ropes quickly enough? Does he have any chance of progressing through, and surviving this cyber experience? This intriguing story is well worth the read to find out.
The story is wonderfully detailed and descriptive- bringing the story and characters to ‘life’. The characters were well developed, interesting, and somewhat quirky. Making this a really fun and engaging read.

Thank you, Mr. Wikoff!

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Such an interesting book and a great Debut for this author!
I enjoyed this book throughout its entirety and the author’s writing style was great. There was so much detail that I felt like I was experiencing the story with the main characters. Speaking of Charcters, they all were fantastic. I’m having a hard time picking a favorite because they’re all great and have their own awesomeness about them. This is a SciFi book that takes us to different worlds, and the author has a handy Dandy guide at the beginning of the book that helps with the who’s who. A book full of suspenseful awesomeness, I enjoyed traveling through space time and I am looking forward to reading more by this author in the future. I would recommend this to anyone that likes Science Fiction books!
Happy Reading!

Journeys Through SpaceTime (Journeys Through Book 1) by James Talisman – Review by Heather Lovelace

Journeys Through SpaceTimeJourneys Through SpaceTime by James Talisman
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

When I read the blurb for this book, I was immediately intrigued. I dove into the pages with anticipation and am so very glad I found this new author.

To say the world building is epic might be an understatement. Talisman takes us on a journey through space and time (no pun intended). In fact, the world building was done on such a level that likened itself, in my estimation, to Terry Goodkind and Terry Pratchett.

Fantasy lovers, you will be enthralled by the characters you are introduced to and how everything interconnects. Truthfully, the level of detail I found in the pages I am not sure I will fully appreciate until I have read the story for a second and third time.

Talisman is truly gifted and has presented readers with a brand new universe to dive headlong into. I cannot wait to devour the pages again and slip back into the world that lay in its pages.

I enjoyed this cozy mystery. I found the main character to be relatable and the circumstances beset upon her to draw the reader in emotionally. The book was paced well and had a good push and pull within the plot. I was pleased to find out this is the beginning of a series and look forward to continuing on in it.

Journeys Through Space Time, by James Talisman, was an interesting journey. It is a thinking book. I found I had to read it in small installments. Or maybe I just think too much. I felt a need to think about some of the things in the story. Many actors on this stage and many acts. I feel the need to read it again because I get the feeling when I come to the end that I have missed something. Most stories when you get to the end you expect them to be all tied up in a bow. Not this one. It leaves you thinking long after you’ve read the last page. I hope this author is well on his way to many more good stories.

This is the third story in this series. All of the stories in this series can be read as a standalone, but I think that it will be more enjoyable if you read them all. This is a great series, and this story does not disappoint. These characters, Becca and Zack, are great in their own way. They met again, but they are different than they were before. Becca is strong and amazing. They have great chemistry. I hope that you enjoy this book as much as I did!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Once again with Pieces of A Lie, Rowena Holloway gives us a story that gives us an opportunity for some inner reflection. At the center of it is her relationship with her parents. Sometimes in ways we cannot recognize our relationships shape us. Our heroine in this story is Mina, and she is one tough cookie. She has built a wall so high that no one is going to get to her heart. Our hero Linc is so bound up in his own feelings of shame and inadequacy he almost misses his cue. This was a delightful little romance wrapped up in suspense and intrigue. A very pleasant little romp until you get to the end……it’s a “can’t put it down” after that.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

My Life Series: Box Set: Prequel to Brothers of Camelot by Necie Navone kept me on the edge of my seat starting in book one and didn’t let up once through book three.

Alessandra had a privileged but not so happy life. She’s the Princess in a mafia family in Italy and though she has friends and family she’s close with, her world is quite small until one fateful trip.

Alessandra’s life and story made my head spin with some of the things that happen to her but she refused to allow everything especially the bad things define her and her life.

I loved the all three of the books, but I think the third is my favorite. She’s living her best life and that’s all anyone wants.

This is a decent time commitment but oh so worth it.

Journey Through SpaceTime by James Talisman was a great science fiction read! I would give this book a 5 out of 5 stars. I love science fiction because of the world building, the unique characters, and the philosophy they teach. James does a great job incorporating all 3 of my wants in Journey Through SpaceTime. The worlds that were presented just blew me away. I loved the variety, it really helped keep all the worlds separate in my head. The characters were well rounded and I loved the varied histories. Lastly, the life lessons were very impactful, especially in light of personal growth and development.

Fisher Men On the X (Book III)Fisher Men On the X by Rebel Nicks O’Dey
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Fisher Men On The X is the first book I’ve read by this author. I thought the book was well written and somewhat captivating. This book has the reader on an emotion roller coaster throughout every chapter. Sweet innocent, Becca is finally grown up and she’s not the brainwashed little girl the Seh thought she was. She was such a weak, character in the beginning but turned out to be just like Zack calls her…a total bada$$!!! I liked to see how the story progressed. Everyone has monsters in the closet. Even those who seem so strong. The fisher men can save everyone but will settle for saving one at a time.

Journeys Through SpaceTime by James Talisman is the first book in the Journeys Through series. This is a first-time author and I was impressed by what I read. This is a book filled with science fiction, fantasy, time travel, and multiple universes. This is a well thought out and interesting book that kept me reading and engaged with the fascinating story. The characters are interesting and those from some of the other worlds harken back to mythology and our ancient history. I really liked the storytelling and the development of different locations. I look forward to what this author writes next and to see where he takes us in his series.

Ok, who is chopping onions over here? I haven’t cried from sadness and laughter so much in one book before. This one really hit me as its a lot more detailed in the characters this time. It says its a standalone, and it can be read that way but I promise you won’t want to, so read the others!
We follow Zack and Becca in this one and its oh so different than the others. I knew it would be but I was not prepared.
I will not be giving details as it all plays into everything and I don’t want to possibly give any spoilers.
If you loved the first two books, then be prepared for this one. I have a new favorite author!

I’ve said it in every other review and I’ll scream it from the rooftops about how obsessed I am with this series! I love a good MC but it take me a lot to get myself hooked onto one and this one has me hooked! Each and every story is purely unique and not something you can read in any other series. It first starts out with Melissa and Skull then Melissa and Pyro. So much is going on and so much story that it’s too hard to put down. You will find any excuse just to read one more chapter until there is no more chapters to read and you have 6 loads of laundry to fold!

“All attendees sat in anticipation of the wonderful event about to unfold.” This is the first line in JOURNEYS THROUGH SPACETIME and much like the attendees at that event, I cracked the binding of this book with much anticipation.

An incredibly detailed story with world building in many different universes and lots of characters pepper this multilayered story. At times I did find myself pausing to remember who was who and where was where. Once I grasped the cadence and rhythm of the story, the pages virtually turned themselves.

This was an enjoyable journey and I look forward to reading more from this author.

This is a collection of stories that are full of romance, hot, sexy cowboys and will keep you warm on a cold night. There is a cowboy for everyone in this series and also a favorite author. It will make wishing for Christmas to come and getting one of these cowboys in your stocking. My favorite of these is Tempting a Cowboy. Johnson and Debra are great characters but they will go through life struggles where temptation could prove to be too much for them. This is a must read anthology.

This is my first book by this author, I loved it and can’t wait to see what is next. This is a well written story that took me on an emotional roller coaster. It has been awhile since I read a book that has taken me on this ride and this one certainly did. The characters are connectable and made the story realistic. This is about two people who have been hurt and really are in need of healing. Is it possible they can find that in each other? I highly recommend this book and find out.

I enjoyed this book. The author’s writing style and attention to detail made me feel as if I was right there in the story. There are many different characters, they made the story realistic and kept me reading. Of all of them, Hirisho is my favorite. This is a science fiction story that flip flops between a few different worlds but the story transitions perfectly. It is a story of space time travel as well as getting to see life on other universes, add some suspense. I highly recommend this book

You would never believe that this was James Talisman debut novel, it has been written in such an incredible way, it’s as though he has been writing his entire life. This is an incredible multiverse, multi-layered adventure story that you are unable to put this read down. This book is packed full to brim with in-depth, realistic characters that are scattered across the multiverse each telling their own unique and amazing story. You will be totally captivated with each storyline that occurs, in fact as the story goes on you become more and more invested in all that goes on.

This book blew me away! Jamie A. Waters is an amazing storyteller. Her writing style reminds me of Sarah J. Maas in the way she pulls you into her world with captivating characters and a complex storyline. I fell in love with not only the main characters but the secondary ones as well. I’ve always loved strong female leads and Sabine is one kick ass lethal heroine.

She’s been on the run for the last ten years, hiding amongst humans. With two demons and a witch by her side to protect her she should be okay but the Wild Hunt never gives up. Sabine can’t help but be intrigued when a smuggler shows up with his own secrets to hide. She extremely attracted and his power is pulling her in but can Sabine trust him?

This is a riveting paranormal romance filled with action and intrigue that will keep you on the edge of your seat. I know this is a series that I’ll love and can’t wait to read the next part.

Journeys Through SpaceTime by James Talisman is the first book in the Journeys Through series. This book is detailed and intricate and so immersive that you will really feel like you are right there with all the characters.
For a debut novel this book really was outstanding. The book is so complex and detailed that I found myself drawn in and lost in the story instantly. This was the kind of book that as soon as I had read it I had to immediately start it again. The first time I flew through the story because I enjoyed it so much with the second reading allowing me to add in all the detail I missed the first time round.
From the moment you start reading this book you can feel the author’s passion behind it. This comes through in every aspect – from the characters to the overall plot. For me this only served to draw me ever further into the story. I am genuinely blown away by how captivated I was by this book. Anyone that is a fan of this genre should give this book a try. It is easily one of the best books that I had read this year!

Piece of a Lie by Rowena Holloway is a gripping psychological thriller. This story pulled me from the beginning. This is a fast read but I warn you that you will want to keep a steady pace because I knew I missed a couple of crucial ideas (I did go back and reread the thoughts). Holloway is a great descriptive author. Her attention to detail is amazing. On top of the thriller going on there is a slight love story. Detective Lincoln is a new up and coming detective. He is trying to make a name for himself. In comes Mina, who Detective Lincoln is attracted to but will that be his underdoing? What happens where there is a body found? How does Slab Carlson. A crime boss fit into the picture? The answer to all these questions and more will be answered but will you figure out what is going on before the end?

Journeys Through SpaceTime by James Talisman is the first book in the Journeys Through series. This is my first book by Talisman and I can already see that I will be looking to read more books by him in the future. The characters and scenery is beautifully descriptive and easily seen in your mind’s eye. This is definitely a work of passion for Talisman. The story plot line is that of a sci-fi story. It has all the good characteristics with time travel and multiple worlds all rolled up inside. There are some teaching moments with in the story to set the story up to the next level as well. There are some twists and turns which keeps the story moving and interesting. There were moments that I needed to revisit something I just read because I moved too quickly to get to the next page. So my warning is to really focus on what is happening because it is that amazing of a story. I cannot wait to see what Talisman has in store for us next.
